At the event on Jan. 05--"Shi Shang" event. (I have no words for their styling at this event. They both looked great at the Sina Weibo Night but here... Yang Mi was wearing a shapeless dress that looked like maternity wear, and not only did FSF have terribly-styled greasy-looking hair but he apparently hired Hu Ge's stylist because he was also sporting a "kilt" over jeans and boots. >_< Yeah "horrified" is an understatement for my reaction...)

Anyways both of them won a couple of awards. One of them they won together with Nicky Wu. The three of them had a funny "you go first" silent war when it's time for acceptance speeches; FSF offers for YM to go first, YM gestures at him to go first. Hilariously, the host says, "Feng Shaofeng don't you always listen to Yang Mi??" ...and then FSF actually does obediently go, "Ok I'll say it first."

Even funnier is when it's time for Nicky's speech, he jokes that he should stand off to the side since he's a "third wheel".

This time they walked the red carpet separately, and there was a lot less hand-holding...but they still sat next to each other chatting and held hands going onstage. )

Apparently YM fangirls for everyone, LOL. At the previous day's promo event she mentioned that when she watched Meteor Garden in middle/high school she was a big fan of Vic and she was really excited when she found out she would get to act opposite him in "Perfect Two".

(Personally I am not exactly a big fan of Vic--well, I don't know that much about him and haven't actually seen him act in anything before!--but he is looking pretty hot here and while I impatiently wait for YM/Nic (seriously when is that movie going to release any tiny little tidbit?!), I suppose YM/Vic will have to do! XD)

It's going to be aired on Jan. 21 I believe (right before Chinese New Year's--the movie is released on Jan. 23 so it's good advertisement for it. I'll post a link or upload it once it's out.

In latest news...unfortunately it seems like YM won't be on CCTV's Chinese New Year show this year, I think she was invited but she didn't have time. (Since the performers have to attend rehearsals etc. leading up to the event.) On the other hand it is confirmed that Feng Shaofeng will be performing at both CCTV and BTV's shows...but not with YM. Too bad, it's been so long since they performed a song together...and I also would've loved to see YM at the New Year's gala! Why do they always have to make her schedule so packed... >_<

This is funny, from the same interview that I posted gifs of from before: (this was same day as the Sina Weibo night but earlier on)




They made a "hou gong (harem) chart" of her popular male costars/friends/rumoured boyfriends. Clearly the person is a FengMi shipper because we have FSF = "Empress", Hu Ge = "head eununch" (ummm... ) and Hawick Lau = "lao mo mo" (i.e. one of those old maid servants in the palace that serve the Empress/concubines ). Ouch! Meanwhile Guo Degang = "Empress Dowager" and Ma Tianyu = "Mei Ren" (a title for consort). On the left is a "concubine" who we can't see who it is...

Apparently it's rumoured like crazy all over weibo right now that during this interview Yang Mi actually went public and openly admitted she is in a relationship. I thought it was just a rumour at first but everyone seems to believe it's true...don't know if she also revealed who it is? For some reason most people think it is Hawick Lau (I have no idea where they got that idea, probably it is just because of the recent rumours about them ). Other people think it is the "fifth" mystery guy on that chart who we can't see in the picture (I don't get this one either). Many FengMi shippers actually believe the rumours and are crying their eyes out right now lol...but hey what else is new right? T_T (Personally I think, if she really did go public with it and it's not FSF...ummm kinda weird that we got all that cute stuff that night. On the other hand if it is FSF...kinda explains why he was acting all crazily happy and these two were sweeter than usual with each other. But that's just me and I could be completely wrong. )

It's being broadcasted later today so I guess we will find out either way! ^_^ If it does end up being true I guess you guys can all either expect me to 1) finally stop with all my crazy FengMi fangirling and go back to normal sane Yang Mi-only fangirling...or 2) go even crazier (depending on what the result is!). Or perhaps this whole thing is just being way overblown and we will still remain just as clueless as ever. XD Either way I feel like I'm watching a suspense thriller movie right now--if we do get a reveal you can be sure weibo and baidu are going to explode, haha.

oh man...i wish i could read chinese. but i got to admit that hawick is a lot hotter than fsf...always thought he was cute since his tvb days (he starred in a series with noel leung siu bing i think, and that was when i first noticed him). i would love to be able to read the chinese forum right now. must have happened during ruyi. or is this a publicity stunt for ruyi? ym's parents must be so crushed. so must be fsf's parents.

anyhow, i enjoyed all the fengmi speculation. there must have been some feelings between fengmi or at least a one sided relationship of some sort because fsf was incredibly sweet to ym and they were definitely flirting via weibo (based on what i read here).

as a matter of fact, i still think that this is a publicity stunt for ruyi...not that i mind hawick. he looks good enough for ym.

Well not gonna lie, I am definitely disappointed, but when I first got into this I told myself I'd just enjoy all the cuteness while it lasted. I will still friendship-ship FengMi like I do with GeMi and her other costars/friends. ^_^ (So I will cool it off with the FengMi updates here but will still sub their previous videos that I haven't gotten to yet!) I am more baffled at this point though--I am wondering are FSF/YM *that* good of actors to fake all that stuff over the past year or are they really *that* good friends?? (Yeah I know YM is a really friendly person in general to people she knows well but I don't even think she was that "chummy" with her girlfriends... O_o Also, how does Hawick not want to murder FSF with his bare hands based on all the FengMi stuff over the last few months??? LOL. )

Soooo I will go back to mostly YM-only updates here--although it will probably be much less frequent because I am going to lose my best source of Yang Mi information (i.e. the FengMi thread, which will probably be dead >_<). Well FSF already admitted to liking YM (at one point) so there were definitely some feelings there...at least from his side...(I actually feel really sorry for him. But, I guess he came to terms with it since he still seems to be very good friends with Yang Mi?)

And yeah, weibo and baidu have pretty much exploded (it started yesterday actually when the rumours first started going around). Alright guys I admit to being wrong, sorry if I got anyone's hopes up! But, the FengMi stuff was super cute while it lasted right??

(Oh, and there are definitely conspiracy theories about it being a publicity stunt lol, whether for Ru Yi or from Mei Ah (since Hawick is also an artist under them now)--but I just can't believe being for publicity now that it's gotten to this point, even if I want to. What is weirder though to me, is I didn't get a single "dating" vibe between Hawick/YM??? Whether during their Ru Yi interview together, or during their phone call at the Happy Camp promo episode (http://v.ku6.com/show/jAaTyoXrY8FJc08W.html)--Yang Mi thought it was a private call, yet the way she was talking was soooo impatient/brusque. (She didn't even recognize his voice at first until he told her who he was, she kept saying she was busy/had to go work, and asked Hawick if he lost a bet or something when he was faking the "sweet-talk". It just seems so far from how she would talk to a boyfriend...I seriously swear she talks sweeter to FSF lmao. )

Haha I was just telling JoleCole, they better not broadcast Ru Yi anytime soon--because can you imagine, all the FengMi shippers (which is a LOT) are going to totally boycott the series...I think this is pretty much the worst timing to air it or begin promotions for it. At least give the fans a bit more time to recover from this right? I already saw someone post on the Baidu forums about boycotting it, and another person saying "Who is the director of Ru Yi, I am going to kill him"--uhhhh just jokingly (I hope) since that allowed YM to meet Hawick. Hilariously I also saw a GeMi fan (recall that GeMi and FengMi shippers pretty much hated each other before) coming to the FengMi forums posting condolences and telling them how to get over it...

(And someone joking that FengMi and GeMi can get together now to pray for YM/Hawick to break up soon... )
