Gong Nam 7 Freaks to GJ: "You go to Ga Hing first. We've got other business."

Not long after they all arrived in China proper after leaving Mongolia, the Gong Nam 7 Freaks abandoned Gwok Jing...telling him to go to Ga Hing by himself while they went to take care of other business. What other business could this have been? Wasn't their one, overriding priority at the time to make sure that Gwok Jing fought and defeated Yeung Hong? As it was, the duel 18-years in the making at the Drunken Fairy Restaurant never happened...and Gwok Jing didn't meet up with the Gong Nam 7 Freaks again until they all bumped into each other at the Luk Family's Returning Clouds Manor *way* later.

They followed Ou Yang Ke's maids (who tried to steal GJ's horse) and stopped OYK from kidnapping a few girls. They managed to lightly injure OYK, IIRC.

Ah, yes. I believe Chu Chung broke Au Yeung Hak's pinky finger, didn't he (that would've been an interesting fight...fan to fan combat)?

I thought that fight happened much later, however...around the time of the Returning Clouds Manor gathering. I had no idea it happened that early. Why didn't the Freaks take Gwok Jing with them? It would have been a valuable learning experience for him.

Going on his own would be a better experience for him (and it was true), as he had never been away from his sifus prior to that.

It happened quite early on, before Yang Tiexin died. It was when Guo Jing went to the palace to try and find medicine for Wang Chuyi. They then split up after the 7 freaks voiced their dislike for Huang Rong (Guo Jing ran off after Huang Rong and by the time Guo Jing came back to ask their blessing they had left on another errand). After that they next met at Returning Cloud Villa.
