What's the storyline of Long Piao?

It just started aring in CCTV china. Nobody has watched unless you live in CN. No vcd or dvd is available for sale yet.

Yup. It's on CCTV 8, so that's how you know it's a new release (instead of on one of the regional channels).

Regarding the storyline, as far as I can tell from yesterday's episode, HXM plays a really rich heir-type person whose family suddenly lost all their money. Hopefully, someone in today's episode will make a comment about exactly how they managed to do that. Knowing the pacing of Chinese serials, I'm not overly worried that this major plot point won't get brought up and beaten to death before the end of today.

So basically, HXM has come down in the world. And now the government is apparently also out to get him, probably as a corollary to the whole losing fortune business. Where they ended last night, he ran into a rather bandit-like guy who says he is from the same village as HXM and thus wants to help him. Bandit-like guy takes HXM to his home, HXM and his pageboy (who is following him) don't know what this guy is up to as we roll credits here.

on another separate issue..any idea why HXM did Long Zhu feng bao which is a really crappy show, as far as I can see?

If memory serves me right, I think this may have been his first show, or one of his first shows. Hey - even the cutest of performers has to start somewhere.

Do you read chinese. If you do, you can visit Long Piao official webpage and read the serial's summary there. It also have episode's summaries. Up till now, they had summaries up to ep. 16. It also have trailers.

I can read Chinese but simplified chinese and not very well...I read Chinese so much slower than English...but thks anyway..u are following this serial too?

The website is from the Taiwan TV station, because right now in TW is also broadcasting the serial. Therefore, the website use traditional chinese so don't worry.

Yes, I'm reading the ep. summaries everyday. I'm still "eagerly" waiting for the DVD to be release. Actually, I've been waiting ever since it just started filming last year. It's been waaaay toooo loooong. My neck probably going to be as long as the geralf's neck when it finally out.

Once it's released, I'll purchase it immediately, couldn't wait any longer.

This is the second serial of Jiao Zhu that I purchase without even watching it before hand. Normally, I would rent them first and only will buy if I like the series/movies enough.
