In your opinion, which is the worst MediaCorp/TCS drama you've seen?

i hope one nite, an executive producer from MCS with nothin better to do (since their script takes only ard 15 min to be constructed) would surf the net (tryin to find some copycat ideas) & stumble upon this thread & realised how horrible their productions are in the opinons of ours...

The relevation came as shock to him, his self-esteem plummeted & he went into a mania-depressive mode... feelin self reflective, he decides to set sail to the explore new frontiers & "find himself"....

On board the ship, he meets a famous, retired TVB producer, who's on his way to meet his mistress. The old saga imparts the art of makin drama to him & teaches him a lesson abt life...

Judging by MCS's furious milking of ideas (which are rapidly turning stale through accelerated aging), I would be astounded if they actually did surf the net in the name of work ... That would almost ... imply a desire ...to ... improve .... Seems like a reality that's not ours ... They are obviously too self-absorbed to look beyond their nose ... They may be thinking about how fantastic they are and how we must idolize and adore them! Now, THAT's delusional!

i think all long running dramas should seriously be canned. utterly unrealistic, suffer from bad or overacting and waste the precious 7/9pm timeslot. apart from those, i think variety shows are seriously unoriginal. there is an overdose of those never ending foodie shows (gosh do we eat that much?) and then lame shows like celeb cleaning houses etc.. and dont get me started on those singing contests.

sigh. mediacorp is an eyesore. my heart goes out to all who does not enjoy scv or other entertainment channels.

There are many which i saw in recent years. I don't know whether is it my expectation too high or they just can't meet the standard in my eyes. Even the worst TVB drama that i saw is far much better stuff than this.

the series i really hate is Love Concierge, and now i rewatched mars and venus the kids made me hate the series a lot!! and one thing i discover about luv concierge, why is it the youngest daughter's pregnancy is the same story as in TVB's under the canopy of love.only that LC has a single mom and UTCOL has a single father. well they thought the series got a big hit coz they had nancy sit in it, but they're wrong!! why did fiona xie have to get pregnant anyway? and why ann kok have to get "mad"? stupid.

Everyone I know in Spore, have given up watching the chinese series because of the inferior plots and over-acting.

However some of the English sitcoms are quite watchable though.

Sign an online petition (or whatever) and show it to mediacorp, unless they produce better shows or else we will not tune in to mediacorp channels.

and Home in Toa Payoh for Fiona.. and for laughs..
