The scariest for me is The Ring(Japan version), the us version isn't scary at all -_-".

The Exorcism of Emily Rose wasn't too scary, the only scary thing about it is the element of surprise that it contains, like when emily rose screamed her head off when the kid walked towards her after she got possessed.

oo yeah ur right The Ring ( japan version) is pretty good. The U.S. version is just a rap off. The ring 2 just sucksss.

For Exorcism of Emily Rose, the part when her boy friend was sleeping next to her and when he woke up he find her on the floor all twisted and looking at him. That was pretty spooky. Then there was the church part too.

Yea the scariest part in the ring(jap) for me was when they were climbing out of the well being chased by sadako, lol sadako's face climbed beside her and looked at her, it was hair-raising.

The Exorcism itself was kinda cool actually, the six demons inside her, however i am curious about one thing, why would lucifer, the devil reincarnate go possess somebody himself when he has legions of demons under him.

Not just that, all 6 demons are all pretty high ranks: Cain, Nero, Judas, Legion, Belial, and Lucifer. These 6 names are all famous in the Bible.

    Lucifer-the devil himself.
Belial-He was said to be a prominent fallen angel, second only to Satan. or devil's son.
    Judas-the guy who betrade Jesus.
    Nero-Evil Roman Emperors
Cain- The first-born of Adam and Eve.
Legion-A demon encountered by Christ in the gospel of Mark.

In the movie it said demon can only possess a "supersensitive person," they just want to check out the world. But father Moore got to send them by to Hell.

Just started reading the bible only, so i only know about cain XD and Nero.

The movie mentioned that supersensetives are more prone to being posessed, but i doubt thats the case, because six demons all at once posseseed her, and since its based on a real life story, guess it must be kinda screwed for her. And what do you mean by father moore go to send them by to hell XD?

I don't even think Scary Movie 1-3 was even scary at all. It's basically comedy more than horror.

Default Scariest Movie You've Ever Seen...

i watched the hills have eyes today, and even though it wasn't scary, it made me rack my brain trying to think of the scariest movie i've ever seen. I've seen a lot of disturbing ones, but I can't really say that I've been really scared by any of them. maybe i'm jaded...or just weird.

So, what are the scariest movies you've ever seen, and what made them scary for you? And did you watch them in theatres or at home?

I don't like scary movies and I usually don't watch them. Though, the one that really freaked me out was the "Ring." I suffered many sleepless nights after watching the first part. Every since then, I vowed never to see another scary movie again, alone or with other people. Now, every time I see The_One's avatar, it reminds me of that traumatized experience.

    The Exorcist I
    The Eye

They were scary because unlike others that are overdone with effects, makeup, costumes, over exaggerated.....they could actually happen! I think "Exorcist" was based on a true story no? Not sure about "The Eye" though.

I plan on watching "Alone."(Thai horror)
Due to several complaints, I will stop using the terms "Babe" and "Baby" in reference to our female counterpart. They will now be replaced with "B*tch."

i don't like scary movies and avoid them at all cost if possible since my brain is overactive. i recently saw no country for old men and that frightened me for days even though it's not even a horror movie!

the very last real horror movie i saw was "scream" and i didn't know it was a horror movie when i agreed to see it with my friends. i panicked every time i sense a movement at nighttime for a good 2 weeks.

I think I have developed an immunity to scary movies now. "The Grudge" was quite disturbing, I saw that Korean movie about the twin sisters.........I forgot the name. I watched "Shutter" which was also disturbing.
