Even though Nic's really cute, i wasn't sure if he would be able to pull off the ancient look. But i have to say, i find him to be very attractive in ancient garb. Quite dashing.

Yeah, i heard of Time and Tide. Haven't watched it yet though. I've seen a lot of Nic's movies in general though. So was it dubbed or subtitled on Spike tv?

Uh huh, Nic can speak English. He dubbed his own voice in English for Gen X Cops. So did Stephen Fung.

So was Time & Tide in English or Cantonese when you saw it on tv? I thought originally it was in Cantonese.

I've seen Gen Y Cops (the one with Edison and NOT Nic) on the Sci-Fi channel here in the US. It was in Cantonese but the station turned on the subtitles.

Nic's voice wasn't dubbed in New Police Story. He speaks Cantonese in it.

Oh, i see. I have the New Police Story dvd from YesAsia (HK version) so i watched it in Cantonese with English subtitles. Nic's English is pretty good since he had gone to school here in the US during his teenager years. I mean, Nic did dub his own voice in English for the US version of Gen X Cops. I watched both versions of Gen X Cops: the dubbed English version and the original Cantonese version with English subtitles. I was curious to hear what Nic's dubbed voice sounded like but then i recognized that it was his own voice. It was a very nice surprise since his English was very good for someone with his background.

So i would guess Nic dubbed his own voice in English in New Police Story too. Would you by any chance be able to recognize his voice?

Time and Tide is really good...but nic wasn't really a big contributer...

anyway any new project coming up??...i don't know since his expecting a kid soon...just wondering if his going to do any ancient or modern stuff during these times

Ooh, i'd like to check that out some time. I like listening to Nic speak English. Well, that's if it really is him who dubbed over himself. I take it Jackie Chan and Daniel Wu dubbed over themselves in English?
