I was a bigger Nic fan when i first discovered him. But news wise, i think it's hard to find out that info. Well, for me, i would need English translations. So it seems like the fan base who are able to do that is kinda lacking. It's easier for me to find translated news on non-HK celebrities. Though i don't really care for that many HK celebrities to begin with. I think as of right now, i only really like Nic and Cecilia Cheung. Anyone know how Cecilia is doing with her pregnancy?

I first discovered Nic when i was watching Legendary Siblings 1 with Jimmy Lin and Alec Su. I really liked the end theme song and wanted to find out who sang it so that i could download it. I eventually found out it was sung by Nic. I was surprised at the time to find out how young he was. I guess i had thought based on his voice that he would be a bit older. I think that LS1 came out in 1999. I probably didn't run into this series until 2001 or something. I was on a hiatus when it came to watching Asian series. I've been a long-time Jimmy Lin fan and so when i saw this series (this was Jimmy's first tv series) playing in the local rental store, i just had to rent it. And i've been devoted fan ever since. What about you, Leanna, how did you first discover Nic?

I really like Nic's music style and his voice. I also think it's really cool that he composes most of his songs. So because of that, i have like most of his albums. Plus, it also helps that his looks aren't too shabby.

Oooh, i want to see Cecilia all full blown pregnant. I bet she still looks skinny but with a really big stomach. That would be cute to see.

the first series i saw of nic was The Promise.... he looked soo handsome in there and i loved the evilness
then i heard his songs (Xie Xie Ni De Ai 1999, Chen Zhe Wei Wang, Huang Zhong Ren, etc.) and i loved his voice and was really impressed with his composing
then i watched New Police Story and i loved him even more with his acting and looks
now, im watching Amazing Twins and i am totally obsessed with him, from the looks (omg, hes soooooooo hot and handsome) to the acting (loved the coldness)
im looking foward to watching DaRenWu someday XD

I'm actually struggling to finish that series, Leanna. I really like Nic's coolness in it but since he's not the main lead, he doesn't have as much screen time, which makes it harder to watch. Dicky is alright but i definitely prefer looking at Nic more. LOL. Despite his chemistry with Fan Bing Bing was a bit off, i still liked watching the two of them together. Maybe Nic just played that emotionless character too well or something.

I've also seen Nic in Journey to the West (Dicky's version) where he had a cameo role. Dicky basically invited all of his good friends to take part in the series. Nic's scene was just a couple of minutes long. I rented it just to catch Nic but after his cameo was over, i just couldn't finish the darn thing.

You know i wasn't sure if Nic would be able to pull off the ancient look but i have to say he looks quite suave.

im on like eps. 24 right now and nic hasnt appeared in like 3 eps...... its like soo not fair
everytime i watch it, i hope to see nic that i never pay attention to watever dicky does or says (sry dicky)
the director should have let nic have more screentime even if he doesnt do anything, i also noticed that the director likes to focus on one part of the story for a long time and then move on to another part.... i suggest he change screens more often
