and it was led by Nic himself, but he had to close it down. He closed it down about a month before the news of him and Cece came out about being married.

omg, im soo proud of Nic for being able to be known through the U.S. even i though i didnt even know he was in The Medallion..... i think ill rent it just so i could watch him
as for some of Nic's older movies like Gen X Cops i didnt get to watch but i loved him in Dragon Tiger Gate and New Police Story

LOL. Yeah, if you watch The Medallion let me know what you think. I think Jackie Chan asked both Nic and Edison Chen to make a brief appearance in it. The movie was a rip but i guess it was fun to actually see Nic and Edison on screen even though it wasn't much of an appearance. So be prepared to be disappointed. Hehe.

Hmm, if you like Dragon Tiger Gate and New Police Story, then i think you would like Gen X Cops. I like the three of them (Nic, Stephen Fung, and Sam Lee) together. They were quite entertaining. Nic's character is on the more cool and serious side. Stephen was a little bit goofier and Sam was just plain silly. But the three of them had good chemistry.

Besides Gen X Cops, i'd also recommend Winner Takes All, 2002, and Tiramisu. Winner Takes All is a comedy and has a bunch of different actors/actresses in it. Nic's character was funny in that one. In 2002, Nic plays a guy who deals with the paranormal and catches evil spirits. Of course, in order to do that, his character's obviously the cool type. And Tiramisu is a touching story where Nic helps a girl (Karena Lam) who just died fulfill her final wishes (or something to that extent...sorry it's been a while since i've watched this).

Oh yeah, and if you watch Master Q 2001, let me know what you think. It's based off of a popular comic series. Nic and Cecilia were quite in that movie.

So do you go to your local Chinese rental place or something? Would they have these movies?

wow, i loved those moments Nic appeared on screen soo much i just had to watch it over and over again
also, because Nic never had any screentime, everytime he appeared on screen were the most wonderful and awesomest

i agree that HWQ's masters tortured him too much with the hypotenuses, having him be filled with pain when he thinks of TXL, having TXL jump off the cliff in order to let the big master cure his eyes...... omg, i feel so bad for him, receiving soo much torture
i also realize that HWQ never has any happy times when he appears on screen he always has the coldness (which i like a lot) and he doesnt speak that much but his expressions can mean a thousand words to me

right now, im at the part where Dicky gets cured from that rainbow disease and leaves the Demon Island with his godfathers..... im soo depressed, having been watching two episodes without seeing Nic once..... omg, he is the OTHER TWIN BROTHER, he is suppose to be a main character, ugh wat were u thinking, director?
if nic doesnt appear in the next episode, i think im gonna stop watching this series.... man the director is treating him so unfairly

I totally know what you mean. It's been a couple of weeks now since i've touched the series. Pretty bad, i know. I like seeing Nic acting all cold too. But it was also to see him actually sorta kinda show feelings for someone. I really like it whenever an icy person shows that he has a heart. I like watching Nic's facial expressions too in Amazing Twins. He does that cold look well.

So did you rent this series too like i did? Man i've held on to this series for a long while now. I feel kinda bad but i don't want to just return it either since i had paid to watch it. And it's kinda sounds like we're around the same area in the series. When did you start watching Amazing Twins? I actually started back some time at the end of January/beginning of February. Good grief. This will probably be the last series that i rent for a while since i have recently discovered the world of fansubbing.

i know im going a little crazy over him, but just like u, i loved his facial expressions and his act of coldness so well i just had to keep watching to see him

i can sort of get how u wouldnt feel like watching it, since i can totally understand how he appears in like 5 eps out of the 25 while dicky appears in like everyone..... even Su Ying appears more on screen than he does
i still suggest u keep on watching since there r still many nic scenes waiting ahead
he is the only reason im watching this, if it werent for him.... i would have long stopped

Sure, no problem. Sorry i didn't really explain much though. It's definitely been a while since i've watched these movies too. I think the movies that you were able to narrow down sound like good choices (especially Gen X...i love that movie...). Well, any Nic movie is a good choice, right? Hehe.

By the way, all the movies that i mentioned, Nic was the main actor except for maybe Winner Takes All. He's one of the main ones but there were others too like Alec Su. But no need to fret about Nic screen time...he definitely has the majority of screen time for his movies. I guess for Amazing Twins, that's basically Dicky's series. I notice that when it comes to Dicky series, he always get most of the screen time.

Hmm, sorry, i don't know of any sites where you can watch Nic's movies. I basically own all of those movies that i mentioned (i'm a big Nic fan!). I only recently discovered subbed Asian series that are available for download. But they're mostly Taiwanese, Japanese, or Korean. It's kinda hard to find HK stuff i think (well, at least the subbed stuff). I don't even know if there's a group that's subbing Amazing Twins. Anyway, if i come across something that's Nic-resourceful, i'll let you know.

Oh, and one more thing. You mentioned that you had watched Dragon Tiger Gate on tv. What country/channel?

I definitely will somehow make myself finish this since i already paid the rental. Though i already saw a scene where Nic is with that evil girl. Ick. I can't stand her. I bet she's going to try and take advantage after she finds out that Tie Xin Lan isn't around any more.

I'm assuming so since one of the rules for Invisionfree forums is that everything posted within their forums has to be in English. That'd be cool if he could open it back up and oversee it with his wife, Cecilia.

Speaking of Cecilia, i can't believe how much stuff Nic and her went through. I remember when i first saw them, i thought they would be cute together. And of course there were all of the rumors going on about them being a couple. And then after his accident and eluding-the-law situation, Cecilia was there for him and i think it was confirmed that they were together but then something happened that caused them to not to talk to each other for a long while. After i heard that they were going to be in The Promise together, i was wondering if they would be able to work together and of course they were professional about it. And now they're married. Sometimes when i think about it, i just find it so unbelievable.

Around what time did you go? His statue was made last year, but you might have gone early before they made it.

I'm pretty sure that his old forum was led by him because there was a section where we could ask him some pretty private questions and he answered them with what the public had written, but also add his own insight and true feelings about it. I could be wrong, but I'll just think that it was him.

I watched the Amazing Twin series because I saw that he was going to be in it and then he didn't show up for along time, so I fast forward all of the parts until he came on screen. I could careless for all the others, I just want to see Nic.

He also did a film with Stephen called "2001" and it's about him fighting evil ghosts and Stephen is his sidekick who's scared at first. It's one of my favorite movies for he has a ton of on-screen time and he's dressed in mostly black as the hero which makes him even hotter. I definitely recommend this one.

He was also in "Comic King", but he didn't have a major role, but enough screen time to satisfy me. He's pretty hot there also playing a superhero from a comic book.

actually, id perfer to have chinese subtitles more since i can learn to read chinese more, i guess that i can understand chinese quite well and is ok at speaking it... but when it comes to writing and reading, i stink sooo bad. still im trying to learn to read chines more so ill be able to get around china more when i go there and enjoy more freedom and maybe be able to even see nic

I know for sure that Amazing Twin came out with English Subtitles and Yesasia sells it. One of my friends, who's a huge Nic fan also, bought it from there and she said that the english subs were fine.

lol, i told u i was pretty obsessed with nic in this series from his actions to wat he says to how he looks and watever else happens to him

oh, and I first knew nic from the Promise and grew to be really obsessed with him from that point on
i actually like him in series or movies of which he is coldhearted and evil
