I'am not familiar with SSWRB or Flying Fox stories but someone once told Me that Yuan Chengzhi was "surpassing" his teacher (Mu Renqing) at the recent edition since I only read the old edition which Yuan Chengzhi not in the same class with Mu Renqing or even the Golden Snake Warrior so My "theory" might be wrong..

Nah, YCZ is among the very best in SSWRB. Too bad that the selfish LHC did not transfer the Dugu9Sword to Huashan. If he did, YCZ would be even more powerful. Too bad that by the time of SSWRB, all the cool martial arts are gone.

Mt. Hua Sect is the "Brown University" of wulin sects. It has pedigree and respect, but always seems to get overlooked/overshadowed when compared to Harvard (Shaolin), Yale (Mo Dong Sect), and Princeton (Ngor Mei Sect).

Mt. Hua Sect is among the very high ranking sect in SSWRB without Dugu9Sword. If either LHC or Fung Ching Yeung taught them the Dugu9sword, Mt. Hua Sect would be among the very best sect.
