Oh yes Foxs:
I think Kublai is the cousin of Mongke, not the brother.
Mongke is the son of Wang-Khan while Kublai is the son of Tuolei.
But I'm not too sure so you may want to check it out.

Thank you for the update fox-s. I just love GX, her actions remind me a lot of her mother when she was young (playing with words, using wits and resorting to trickery), except GX is the kinder version.
There are no shortcuts to any place worth going.

I don't post much here (as you can see from my post count), but, as the story is wrapping up, I felt I had to express my gratitude rather than simply lurk around for the final chapter translations.
As for chapter 40, I personally will be more than satisfied if only the ROCH epilogue portion is translated. Since I'm not sure whether I want to continue with HSDS, I'm not very concerned with the preview for that novel.
sincere thanks to all translators again,

Thank you all Foxes for the translations!
That’s it! I am not going to translate anymore … (sulking)Originally Posted by sunnysnow

Sunnysnow’s remark could be regarded as a compliment, or an insult – because I’ve already suffered from inferiority complex … I am the only translator of this novel who is not Chinese literate. However, I highly doubt she meant to insult me. Therefore, I thank her for the compliment.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and answering some of my questions. I still have plenty more questions. I love this novel and do not want to miss anything. I do hope you will share other thoughts to improve the accuracy of the translation.
IcyFox: Thanks. I believe you are correct. Sometimes the storyteller just generalize family relationship. "Brother or Sister" could also mean cousins, in-laws or any other relatives. "Son or Daughter" could also mean grandchildren, or even descendants in general.
FYI (for whoever wants to know), here is a short article on Khubilai:

You are so nice to us.

Could somebody tell me what is the name of the island where the Nun lived? I thought I read it somewhere, but then I couldn't find it.
I would appreciate both the pinyin and the translation.
Many thanks,

As usual, you both foxes (fox-s and icy-fox) rock!
Can somebody enlighten me who is Ying Gu?
I LOVE YOU GUYS!!! I've been waiting to read some more. I love this story. Can't wait to watch the series.
It's a long story. The details could be found in LoCH. The short version is:Originally Posted by gobie2920

I can't believe Huang Rong couldn't figure out who is living in the bottom of passionless valley considering HR herself was involved in the events of 16 years ago.
That is incorrect. Ying Gu can be easily killed by KCY, let alone JLFW.Originally Posted by Carefree Assassin
Easily killed yes, but to actually get the hit on her was hard for JinLun Wang.
The South Sea Nun supposedly lived on '大智岛' (Da Zhi Dao) or Great Wisdom Island.Originally Posted by fox-s
This part can be found in Chapter 32 (which Foxs translated) when Huang Rong was telling Yang Guo about the Nun.

Xiao Long Nu was smart, writing messages on the bee's wings trying to get the people to know she was down at PassionLess Valley cliff.

Chapter 37 is here:

But the people who saw the bees weren't smart enough to decipher the mesage... YG himself was too busy wallowing in pity for the past 16 years that he didn't even notice the bees...Originally Posted by Da Bao
