If you happen to read any paragraph that seems to be total rubbish in Chap 39 then this must be the one... I can't help it, my mastery of the Chinese language is not at that level yet...

I always get sad at the end of a great book, manga or anime. It's just sad not being able to read more of it.

I think that ending something is better than actually leaving it hanging in the middle of the story causing all of us to suffer from withdrawal syndroms! Anybody agree with me on that?

Actually, it should be 'Golden Blade Consort', since 'Fu Ma' means 'royalty/emperor's son-in-law'. Am I right?

I recalled in the LoCH Huang Rong made a joke, she called Guo Jing 'fu niu' (ma - a horse, niu - a cow). Guo Jing was born in the year of the ox/cow.

True enough since GJ was betrothed to Hua Zhen. Golden Blade Consort it is! Funny, he was trained with the sword as a child and fought with it in the Mongolian Army, but didn't seem to use it much later on.

About the same here. Chapter 39 is probably the longest chapter in the whole novel. I think Jin Yong was trying to finish all the important stuff in Chap 39 so he could start HSDS in Chap 40.

So I'll be taking slightly longer to complete Chap 39. (Chap 39 has about 30 pages; in comparison, other chapters on the average only have about 24-26 pages.)

You're doing Chap 40? That'd be great. But I'll prefer to do the first part myself, if you don't mind.

For me I think the monks are not in the least bit stupid... One of them will become Zhang San Feng, the greatest fighter in JY's canon, you know?
