First of all, I am not a hypocrite. Of course I can use some extra money. But my idea was spurred mostly by my desire to have a printed version of the novels (not just RoCH, but other wuxia novels as well). Like ... (too lazy to scroll up) said, I prefer reading it on hard copy, so that I wouldn't be stuck in front of the monitor all day.

I always like to read, especially while waiting for something, in the airports, etc. I can't do that with online novels.

I would be satisfied if the publishers just gave me a copy for free.

First up, congratulations to all of you for managing this great group effort to translate ROCH.

Second, regarding the idea of publishing, obviously Jin Yong and the rights holders to ROCH needs to be contacted regarding translations rights. Following that, you will need to get a publishing house that is willing to make a print run of this translation.

Tell them that ROCH is now complete and that they are invited to make an appearance and say something about the novel, say something for themselves, etc. and more importantly to celebrate this great accomplishment which each and everyone of you translators had contributed so much of your time for. And also for us the avid readers to have a chance to voice out our most heartfelt thanks for all of you translators to hear.

Thank you for translating the start of RoCH. I think there's hardly any doubt that you're the best translator to ever use this forum. I was inspired by your translations to complete RoCH.

It is finished, a project started by Noodles about 3 years go. But in the end it was a project that belonged to everyone.
I am honoured to have been a part of this project, although my input was very small (not even 1% of the novel and I used the 3rd edition instead edition 2).
I remember that at certain point Noodles, I thought I might help out Noodles. I would divide my time between two novels, The Legendary Siblings and ROCH. However, that never happened because I met Mr. Right and fell in love. And I did not even have the time to translate anymore. I had to divide my time between my job and Mr. Right, so I couldn't carry both projects. Nonetheless, I was very pleased to see that both translations were taken over by very capable translators. ROCH is finished now, I hope that the Legendary Siblings will follow soon.

All good things must came to an end. I hope the translations will keep coming, although I don't think I can and will play active parts in the future projects.

Thanks should go out to Noodles and to the entire translation team (IcyFox, Beedreamer, Hanky Panky, etc.)
