I believe the ape is there because the two thieves (Ye Ke Xin & XX?) had surgically cut opened the ape's belly and had hidden the stolen sutra inside wrapped in oil cloth.

Zhang Wuji will find this aged Ape later in a valley bottom. While trying to cure the ape's stomach ache surgically, he will find the sutra, practice it and cure his cold poison.

Yeah I could... but then I'd be afraid of messing up the story. Plus... in most of my fanfics I always add myself somewhere in there....

WOW!!!!!!!! i cant believe ROCH has been entirely translated......chapter 34 was wonderfully done.......supposedly i was suppose 2 do it but i didnt post anything.......so i dont think u should of giving me credit 4 it.......i read the entire thing and i think it was better than what i did!!!!!!!!!!!! great job!!!!!!!!!

No, I leave that to the Photoshop people. If there are any.

EDIT:

Okay, I want to make this clear right now that I will not do colors. The most I can do are these, and maybe finished black and white pieces (with shadings and stuff). But absolutely no grand colored panels that will take too much time to finish.

That's my proposal. It's a take it or leave it basis.

I just want to know if I should go on with this. Or should I add this to my rapidly lengthening list of abandoned projects? Because I'm not willing to put any more time on this than necessary. I mean, yeah, I enjoy it. But there's work, and then there's work-work, and then there's pretending-to-work, and I want to know which category this belongs to.

If you happen to read any paragraph that seems to be total rubbish in Chap 39 then this must be the one... I can't help it, my mastery of the Chinese language is not at that level yet...

You finally have a rather good translation. I'm watching the LOCH translation thread, can't wait to read your translation, since some chapters mixed with Literary Chinese and the Sanskrit text in Jiu Yin Zhen Jing and Jiu Yin Jia Jing (e.g. some text in chapter 16, 20, 30...) may not very easy to be translated either.

Hey, Bangs, I was kinda hoping that you would be able to do the photoshop edits for this. Can you? Because if you can, I'll stop finishing these sketches and go with the ones I've already uploaded.

Or, I could go on and finish the pictures and maybe upload it in a year or so. <---- Is that a threat?

Give me time, I'm practicing photoshop right now. If I reach my desired level of knowledge in photoshop then I will definitely help you out with the coloring. It may take a long time though, I'm quite busy with some important tasks for the next 5 months so until then I can't really promise anything yet, but I give my word that I am doing something about it.

You can go ahead and work on your other artworks.
