Was Yan So So trying to get Cheung Chui San into trouble? Why?

Cheung Chui San first met Yan So So not long after the latter murdered the entire Dragon's Gate Courier Service to punish them for having failed to deliver Yu Doi Nam to Mt. Mo Dong safely. The problem was that Yan So So had dressed herself in clothing identical to Cheung Chui San's when she committed the murders, leading the Shaolin monks who had gone to protect the Dragon's Gate Courier Service to believe that Cheung Chui San was the murderer.

Why did Yan So So do this? Was she trying to get Cheung Chui San into trouble?

(After Yin Susu was struck by poisoned projectiles when she tried to query why some alleged Wudang warriors were taking Yu Daiyan away)

(Yin Susu) shook her head and said, "When I returned to Jiangnan and got people to look at these plum blossom darts, someone recognised them as the unique weapon of the Shaolin School. He also said that unless I had the antidote specially made by the user of these darts, the poison could not be treated. Who else belonged to the Shaolin School here in Lin-an, besides the Longmen Agency? Therefore, I sneaked into the agency to demand for the antidote. Not only did they refuse my request, they also set up an ambush that attacked me the moment I stepped in."

"And you deliberately arranged for them to think that it was me?" Zhang Cuishan muttered.

The young woman lowered her head shyly and said in a soft voice, "I saw you buy this set of clothes and hat in town, and wearing them seemed to look very ... very good, so I bought a set too."

So basically, the clothes (which was the key to the mistaken identity and the ensuing mess) was just a "spur of the moment" type of prank.

I don't know how those Longmen Agency and Shaolin people can mistaken Yin Su Su for Zhang Chui Shan. As a girl, YSS should be a lot shorter than ZCS. Unless ZCS was a very short man.

Yeah, I've wondered about that too. It could be that when YSS attacked the Dragon Gate's courier agency, it was too dark to differentiate gender or height? Or maybe they're just looking for a murderer and they just jump to the conclusion that same outfit means same person and volia you've got a murderer. And they could be covering up their incompetent work of finding who the real murderer is and saw ZCS appear at the Agency and just blamed it all on him? Or they just considered that he was wearing the same outfit as the murderer and he had once threatened the agency (out of anger) that he'd kill them all, and automatically registered him as the murderer. Who knows...

ZCS was not a tanned guy I think. His probably taller than YSS by half a head, but the Shaolin and Longmen Agency people hardly saw him before much, but they roughly know how he looks like, but YSS just look very similar to him.

On the other hand, XX was probably another half a head taller than ZCS.

Dragon's Gate Courier Service... what a cool name. Seems like some modern courier company, wonder how it would fare against Fedex or DHL.

They probably couldn't live up to the "24 hours or your money back" guarantee...not if you were sending out from Lin-an and had to get your stuff to Guangdong by the next day.

(Yin Susu) had changed into men's clothes again, and in a glance, she did indeed look rather like Zhang Cuishan. He had asked her how she had arranged for Shaolin to accuse him unjustly, and her change of clothes gave him the answer at once. Dressed in this manner, no one had been able to tell them apart in the dark. So Shaolin's Hui Feng and Du Dajin could not be blamed for being so certain that he was the murderer.

(Later on, Yin Susu went on to say) "... When Hui Feng suddenly realised that both of us looked different and wanted to disclose the fact, I threw a silver needle into his mouth." (and ended Hui Feng's life).

I may be mistaken, but as far as I can remember, the heights of Zhang Cuishan and Yin Susu are not described, as JY mentioned only their facial appearances and overall presentation.

ZCS was of average height and YSS was a little shorter than him. The clothes she bought fit him perfectly.

You know, weird thing is, after reading the story between Yin SuSu and Zhang ChuiShan, i kinda feel that theirs are the sweetest and best romance among all the other heroes, except maybe Yang Guo and Xiaolongnu
