Hey...I'm here, with a picture with Annie and Kevin in it also hehe! Oops, false alarm, the picture was too big...Anyway, yeah, the title is Life Begins at Fourty, and surprisingly, I enjoyed Anne's acting more than anyone else. I hope she stays the same improvement and acting in any of her upcoming series. Glad to see one less annoying actress hehe.

TVB enters its 36th Anniversary celebrations with the official opening of the Tseung Kwan O Broadcast City on the day of the anniversary 12th October, when a lighting up ceremony will be held to mark the anniversary as well as the new studios. In order to bring it in line with the 36th birthday, TVB has decided to use "36 stars" to shine over the Executive Chairman Sir Run Run Shaw.

TVB plans to select thirty six out of over three hundred artistes to take part in a special blessing ceremony with Sir Run Run and those chosen will only be the 'big brothers and sisters' as well as those newcomers being promoted and this has already started the competition among the ranks.

The opening ceremony will take place in three stages. First, geomancy master Lee Shing Chak will be leading a blessing ceremony at a lucky hour, then Sir Run Run will lead the executives, this year's Miss Hong Kong winners and the special thirty-six stars in the ceremony.

This will be taking place in the large space opposite Studio One that is currently being made up for the show with reports about a large tent is being erected to protect Sir Run Run from the sun, proving how careful TVB are being.

After the blessing, there will be a large party before the lighting up ceremony for the anniversary celebration. Chief Executive of Hong Kong SAR, Mr Tung Chee Wah has agreed to attend and will be chairing the event with Sir Run Run. Other officials will also be there to join the celebrations and as well as star studded, there will also be many powerful faces there.

That night there will be a huge variety show introducing the broadcasting history of TVB over the last thirty six years through performances by all the TVB artistes. With such a marathon of celebration events, this will be a very big event

TVB's 36th Anniversary celebrations launch and the grand opening of the Broadcast City complex in Tseung Kwan O will take place on October 12th and the Artiste division have been working hard to select from over three hundred artistes, the lucky thirty six who will join Sir Run Run Shaw in a special blessing ceremony on the day. Although many artistes wish dearly to be selected into the "Thirty six stars", there are many who have refused the invitation from TVB.

TVB had prepared a draft of the chosen thirty six very early on, including hosts, lead males and females, promising artistes and promoted artistes as well as some representative stars. However after contacting them all, there were many who could not fit it into their schedules giving TVB a bit of a headache, but after more discussion, the final eighteen male and eighteen female stars have been confirmed.

The reports are that Dodo Cheng had other work on that day and has refused and of the famous hosts, there remain Lydia Shum, Liza Wong, Eric Tsang and Nat Chan. As for the leading actors: Adam Cheng, Lawrence Ng, Kwong Wa, Ada Choi and Benny Chan are all filming overseas and cannot return to attend. As for Frankie Lam, he refused on the grounds that he must look after his poorly father at the moment.

In the case of the uprising stars, Raymond Lam, Tavia Yeung and Ron Ng are all filming in China for the new show "Dai Tong Seung Lung Juen" (Double Dragon of the Tang) and although TVB had intended on stopping the filming to allow the three young stars to return, they changed their mind so as not to delay the tight filming schedules. As for the representative artistes, Helena Law refused because she was working on a ship and only Woo Fung can hold the show.

From the confirmed list of thirty six, there includes many returning stars such as Michael Tao, Sunny Chan and Patrick Tam so it would appear that they are of some importance to TVB and even though Sunny Chan's new contract with TVB has not even started yet, he is willing to return and take part in this event.

Also, due to the current lull in ratings, Deric Wan and Sonija Kwok's "Ngau Long Jik Nui" (The Legend of Love) was originally to be aired after "Ying Hung Do Siu Nin" (Find the Light) but for the sake of stability, it has been decided that Adam Cheng and Cecilia Yip's "Fei Sheung Ngoi Fu" (Extraordinary Father In Law) will be aired instead. Unfortunately, they are both filming in China at the moment and could not return to help with the promotion.

Wow!!!! Seems like you two are the most active in here now!!!! Lol, so many replies in such a short time!! Well its been like what? A week almost? So not that short of time Well goddess is back!! And you are so right Csfan sis. Loaded with homework. Stayed up all night trying to get a math project done. Also I've got relatives over this week so busy with them. Then again I'm happy to inform you guys that this week I've only got 4 days of school!!! YAY

Hello everyone! Actually, the name isn't greed, it's Soulless Veracity, but it's kind of boring since it's chapter 8 and we're not getting to the point. And my co-author is busy and lazy, deciding to temporarily give up on winglin, so hm, we won't update that much on that.

Yes, I am a crazy reader, and as long as you use proper English language (like for instead of 4..to, too, two instead of 2..etc.) and no grammer mistakes (of course you won't have any!!)...I will read it and reply after every chapter!! I update chaper ten after eleven days...lazy me.

I am soooo glad also! I'm upset that Joyce didn't make the list, and that Ada and Benny couldn't be there!! Also, Woo Fung is...um the man that plays the grandpa (on the dad's side..I think) of Charmaine. He's plays the husband of the younger lady? You know, Charmaine has two grandmas and you could notice one is younger..haha..the grandpa without the white hair!! Anyway, speaking of LBAF, I watched the whole thing just then, and I have NEVER seen a more rushed ending!! And I feel so said the Cheung Chi Gwong just died...no mourning, no tears, no talking before he dies...I'm one of those people who are into sad, emotional states, and there are barely any crying here. Nope, not acceptable! hehehe..

Hello everyone! Hm, cs jai, at least Joyce could be a lead actress with Joe Ma in her new series...better than nothing ...I'm comforting myself lol. Yeah, I feel something would be missing without Ada...although I haven't seen Benny much, I'd sure like to see one of the few actors I actually like. Anyway, I hope Ada gets an award, but I'm not sure about that...because Where the Legend Begins was last year...and then Fate Twisters wasn't such a success? I don't know, just my opinion.

Yes, I feel sad for Cheung Chi Kwong...and the totally rushed ending! You know the narrative for Cheung Chi Kwong? While he continued to talk..it suddenly turned to one year later, without a notice. No detailed news or anything..like how they Charmaine and Kevin divorced, more about Chin Ka Lok and his marriage, Claire Yiu (also, it's confirmed, I'm sure her name really is Claire). I have never seen a more rushed ending...

Ahh...I feel so stupid, I forgot he was on the male's list lol!! Anyway, if I want to, I of course could search for the name and then find out...it's totally easy! But I get way too lazy...hehehe.

Of COURSE they have not worked together, but there are many fans of Louis and Annie together, because it's like a new "trend" that started from a good fanfic writer...so poeple started liking Annie and Louis, they write about them in a fanfic, and then it spreads! Paul Chun is the lead man as the father in Family Man...He's dad of Flora Chan, Myolie Wu (another clue who she is..she plays the youngest one here), Jay ____(don't know last name), and Sonjia Kwok.

Woo Fung...hm...as I said earlier because cs jai asked...he was the grandpa (I think the dad's side) of Charmaine in Life Begins at Fourty, with Alex Fong, Chin Ka Lok, Cheung Chi Kwong, Claire Yiu, and Anne Heung. Sorry if I'm confusing you with more names...I just wanted to clarify the names you want. Anyway, the guys you don't know are the old ones...The youngest, Shek Sau is like 40+ I think.

As for Eric Tsang...I have to search for him to know. Let's see...Ohh...he's one of the old ones too...Tsang Chi Wai...one of those witty men...the Host of the Super Trio Show...the short and fattish (sorry...am I being mean?) guy in the middle, along with Chin Ka Lok...and umm, currently forgot the other guy's name.

Louis Koo- Actually, I'm surprised, since his contract is nearly over and has yet to film for TVB because of the contract. Also, he hasn't been in series for some time.

Bobby Au Yeung- I'm not surprised...he's one of the top actors...and one of the few I admire, for his acting.

Sunny Chan came back recently...in the article, they said he didn't even have a contract for him yet, but he is going to be one of the 36 stars nevertheless. And, he didn't beat Benny Chan...did you read the article? Benny Chan couldn't make it because he had filming to do.

Wong Hei- Though he's not in much series recently, he's a top actor...a good actor who could portray any image so far, and he could be the top actor of any series by now, of course if it isn't clashed with other top actors.

Lydia Shum Deen Ha, is very well known..She has great fame and popularity...and she's...um...fat...I don't know how else to say this..she's the lead role in Slim Chances along with Annie Man, Rain Lau, (forgot the lead actress's name >_<)...and more.

Liza Wang kind of has the same position as Lydia...she keeps a good figure, starrs in the most recent series...is called...um I don't know. She's the usual who would host a lot of huge shows..etc.

Winnie Yeung plays the wife of Raymond's boss...the one who divorced with Raymond's boss...and then later remarried..Oops..forgot to mention the movie is Survivor's Law, the one you commented that Bernice is good in.

Myolie Wu is the lead actress in Survivor's Law...

Melissa Ng is the actress paired with Roger in A Herbalist Affair in the end. Hmm, can't name anymore at the top of my head...I know she would film in a new series called Choi Hung Kew (Rainbow Bridge...direct translation) and starred in a movie with Kong Wah again...Oh yeah, also has been in King of Yesterday and Tommorow, but didn't end up with Kong Wah.

Sonjia Kwok- >_< I'm not surprised, even though I'm upset..what a waste of room, they should have put Joyce instead..but it's no surprise she's in.

Shirley Yeung- I don't think she's pretty compared to a lot of people...but I don't think you understand how TVB works..they don't pick you for acting..they said they would pick promoting actors, actresses like Kevin Cheng..and the dai gor dai jai (big brother, big sister) of TVB.

Kenix Kwok- I think you're mistaken...she stars in a lot of series recently, just that you have not seen the series, rented it, or heard of it. Anne Heung- She's MHK, she's promoted, lead actress...nothing else to say, she fits everything to be one of the 36 stars. Just because you don't like her..doesn't mean she's not lead or promoted..and she did really good in Life Begins at Fourty..enjoyed her the best there.

In Life Begins at Forty I have to say Cheung Chi Kwong's death was a little rushed or so. But it was a good way for him to die I guess. I am a great emotional ending person too and I think this ending was okay. It was sad watching him pass away while watching Anne play and sing to her little son. Also saddest part is that he died before his big spotlight in the show where his fahter actually came to see him... I liked how in the end it shows Alex and Chin Ka Lok "fighting" over what to do with his room, but in the end they decide to keep it the way it is.

Paul Chun is like a vetern actor and yup, he was the dad in Family Man. What is his latest series? Is it Golden Faith? Well that is the last series I saw with him and Myolie Wu was also in there. (Note: Its Jay Lau)

Woo Fung, another vetern actor!!! Glad all these older actors are getting on the list. I think he was also in A Herbalist Affair as Roger's grandfather and lots more.

Louis Koo, man; he better start filming a series soon or I'm seriously gonna forget him and go for someone else. Lol, j/k. But he seriously needs to start filming series again!!!!
