Hey!! sis goddessofhonour, you are back!!! hehehe!!! But too bad my break is gone!! I start school on Monday!

My opinion on the 36 stars:
Eric Tsang: umm... well i think he's chosen because maybe his famous status as a host... But he's pretty funny so yeah...

Nat Chan- i just searched him and i know who he is.. he hasnt act in a series but is a famous host... I don't know if sis goddessofhonour, lil filmfreak or jie danganh know him but for greenie... if you watched last years TVB anniversary or HK pageant 2003, you will know what i'm talking about...
The part in TVB Anniversary where Eric Tsang dresses as Lydia Sum where as Nat Chan dresses as Dodo Cheng... The two dresses male and Lydia/Dodo play the Super Trio game with Sonija and Charmaine!!
As for the HK Pageant, he's one of the three host.. One is Ronald Cheng, one is Eric Tsang and the other is Nat Chan....
Anyway, if you don't understand what i'm talking about, here's a pcture of him.....



Louis Koo- I am quite suprised that he's in the 36 stars because i have't seen a series of his

Bobby Au-Yeung: Yes!! i feel that he should be in the 36 stars... He should win an award for his series sspecially for AR4!!!

Michael Tao- Michael Tao is a pretty good actor....

Moses Chan- Well his been in many series and has improved such as his King Character in PITNOL...

Roger Kwok- Well i think Roger became extremely popular after the character Ah Wong in Square Pegs so no wonder he's in the 36 stars.... He should get the award for SP!

Steven Ma- I don't really like him but it came no surprise that he was in the 36 stars!

Bowie Lam- NO COMMENT!

Woo Fung- umm... i got nothing to say but he's been acting for so so long!!!!

Sunny Chan- never quite liked him....

Shek Sau- i don't know what to say... pretty suprised...

Alex Fong- well, its obvious he's in there... He such a famous and experienced actor...

Patrick Tam- i really like this great actor....

Wong He- Well i'm not suprised because he's a good actor even though i haven't seen any series of his...

Kevin Cheng- I am really suprised!!!! I mean, there are so many actors out there but tvb chose Kevin!! I feel he's an average actor... i mean Deric Wan could have taken his position!!

Paul Chun- Paul chun is an experienced and good actor.. he should win an award....

Joe Ma- NO COMMENT!!!

Female artistes:
Lydia Shum:Like said by greenie due to her popularity and fame, she's in the 36 stars...

Liza Wang: NO COMMENT!!

Nancy Sit: i was quite suprised... i haven't seen any recent series besides VOH I & II (but i pass)

Flora Chan: a pretty good actress....

Jessica Hsuan: i not really fond of her but it was obvious she was in the 36...

Charmaine Sheh: obvious... i find her a really good actress.....

Sonija Kwok: Umm... yes... i mean she cannot act even in Legend of love.... i just go bizzare if he win an award!!!

Shirley Yeung: i find she has improved heaps in 'Find the Light'.. she's cute and pretty in some angles....

Myolie Wu: Defintely in due to her character in Golden Faith....

Bernice Liu: NO COMMENT!!! but did well in Survivor's Law even though i hated the fact that she was paired with samuel chan.. i hated sammuel!!

Kenix Kwok: obviously... she might win an award for Seed of Hope!!???

Maggie Cheung: NO COMMENT!!

Anne Heung: umm.. i find Anne a good actress... i feel that she done an excellent job in Golden Faith and extremely well in Life Begins at Forty! She was the most funnist one whihc was suprising because Chin Ka Lok was suppose to be the comedian one!!

Gigi Lai- NO COMMENT!!! But also a great actress...

Michelle Ye: Well i like Michelle Yip!!

Winnie Yeung: I was suprised!!! She always acts the minor roles, never supporting!!! She's okay to me!

Annie Man: YEAH!!!! I hope Annie wins an award!!!

Melissa Ng: I'm not fond of her but she's okay...

I wonder out of these artists, who would be the top 5?? Last years were Gallen Lo and Flora Chan.... umm.. can someone win the award more than once???

I think maybe the top 5 are:
Male: Roger Kwok, Bowie Lam, Steven Ma, Bobby Au Yeung and maybe moses or deric or alex?????
Female: Kenix Kwok, Charmaine Sheh, Sonija Kwok (hopefully not!!! ), Maggie Cheung, Gigi Lai or even Annie.....hehehehe (Have i missed out anyone???)

Umm.. too bad Benny, Ada and others are not present in the show because if they are, they will win awards!

Okay, I'm here once again. I watched the first eight episodes of W Files...and it was okay. If you didn't watch the series (I think I'm the last one anyway) and you don't want spoilers, don't continue. I don't know why Yoyo would think it won't be okay for her to be with Gallen because hm...Gallen tried to save Michael Tong and he died because of greed? I skimmed through the W Files forum and hm...they said that according to the novel, Michael Tong would come back, is that true? Also, I would like to read the novels...since my mom really loves it...and believe me, she doesn't read that much...well okay, she reads a lot of chinese books...the ones I can't read! Hmm...any english version novels of Wisely? Haha!

I payed a visit to tvseriesfans.com, and I saw the active forums...with Annie being one of them..and whoa, 100+ pages from like last year. Anyway, I read like 40 pages and grew so tired...I just posted one little post of it...I'll dedicate my time to SPC forums instead, although not many visit here.

Hm...I wonder why you're both surprised that Wong Hei would make it...I don't think you guys understand the way TVB works...it's not because of acting that gets you in the 36 stars...there are a lot of other things too, or why would Flora Chan win the best actress award? You really think she deserved it, out of Jessica Hsuan or Ada Choi in Golden Faith and Where the Legend Begins? Family Man isn't even a grand production, so it's not because of acting that gets you everything...like how Annie is underrated, it's not because she's bad at acting! Joyce totally deserved it, but it takes her this long to gain her main actress title.

Lol, no more comment on the 36 stars or any stars for now. Too much space and too much writting!!! All I can say is that some of the stars deserve to be on that list while others don't. Could be since they aren't up to compare with some, stil needs improvement, or just plain Hehe

Oh, picture of Annie in a new serise? Dont' know what it is though? Me either. I haven't checked out the Annie Man thread at tvseriesfans, its so active taht I can't keep up with anything and I feel left out lol

Oh watching The W Files? At first I mom rented it due to super excitment since Gallen was in there She continuously said the seires was good till like the middle of the seires when she started saying it got boring, my mother!!! Seesh, but me and her still finished it up. It was okay too. Yup and Michael's character does come back in the end. Still dashing, but lost some of it due to his lost of _______ hehe

TVB will be holding its Pre-Anniversary lighting up and Broadcast City Grand Opening this Sunday and originally it had opted to choose 36 stars to represent each year of its 36th Anniversary to appear with Sir Run Run Shaw at the blessing ceremony. However, after much fighting and conflict, this figure has risen to 46 stars and the numbers keep rising, causing some amusement.

The original thirty-six stars included MC's, lead males and females and some rising newcomers. Of course TVB would look after its salaried artistes first as well as its treasures such as Gallen Lo, who is still taking part in next year's sales presentation despite having left the company.

Originally, many of the stars such as Adam Cheng, Lawrence Ng, Kwong Wa, Ada Choi and Benny Chan were unable to attend because they are filming abroad, creating some spaces in the 36, but when there is a shortage, people will fight and now even Julian Cheung, Tang Chi Fung, Marco Ng and Joyce Tang have been included in the namelist and together with the five Miss Hong Kong winners: Mandy Cho, Rabee'a Yeung, Priscilla Chik, Carrie Lee and Selena Lee, this has now become 46 stars and with many of those working away trying to return for the event, this number is continuously rising.

Oh, thanks for the info Greenie!!!! Gosh, this is what happens when TVB picks some of the more low stars to go into the 36 top stars or whatever you want to call it. But then again, I don't know why the stars are sorta argueing over who gets it. They should be supportive of who wins. Or at least deserves it Gosh, this is going to turn into a mess I've read that its been booted up to a total of 48 stars now

Hello, cs jie. I am so sad and and really !!! Annie isn't going to be on the TVB calendar for 2004 anymore...I don't know if it's true...but I sure hope it's not. Annie has not been in it for years, I want the 2004 one to have her .

I'm so mad at TVB...I wouldn't be surprised if Annie left...they just mis-treat her so much! And did you see any news of her needing to renew her contract?
