i'm looking forward to Healing Hands 3. Last I heard, it has Annie Man in it. I hope that was true and not just for show. But then again, it's yet another supporting role.

TVB is slowly degrading Annie...she used to have leading roles and now she's getting less and less...and also, her "wuxia" series with Sunny Chan has another female lead (I think Joyce Tang) in it...so the chances of her as leading in there is very low...

I'm getting so tired of TVB! Will they just open their eyes and go back to their old ways when it requires good acting to star? Maybe I should rent older TVB series...

Yeah, I am getting so annoyed with TVB. It makes me mad how they keep promoting actors/actresses that don't have much talent and neglect those that do . Annie not only is getting smaller and smaller roles but are starring in less and less series. She has a lot of talent and also has charisma and presence but they don't even bother to promote her. Instead Charmaine, Shirley, and Sonija are getting special treatment. I swear they are hogging all the series.

Totally agree with ya greeniceflower, TVB should go back to there old ways. We should go watch the older series, at least they will have more likeable actors/actresses who have talent. These artists that TVB are promoting nowadays makes me hesitant to watch their series and I don't look foward to them as much anymore. The series don't look worth-watching with those people starring in it.

I know, axt! We shouldn't pay them for their cheap series! They try to spend less and less money nowadays, I don't find much improvement the series than a few years ago. No wonder their ratings dropped, they deserve it! I want to see more of Annie...they're showing Slim Chances here on television satellite, hm...better than nothing.

It is sad that TVB has decided to put a talented actress like Annie 'aside' while other less talented actresses (whom shall remain nameless - i'm a newbie so I don't want to start a flame war...) get more leading roles.

Just look at the recent decline the quality of female leads and i think you'll all agree. Simply put, I think its totally unfair...

Yeah, it's been a while since I've seen Annie in a series too. I've been renting old TVB series that she has starred in that I haven't seen and so far I've watched them all already. So, I just hope to see her in upcoming ones and they better be good series too.

I wouldn't want to watch Slim Chances over though. Too boring and Annie is hardly even in it.

The recent quality of female leads has definately declined. Gosh, I don't know why most of the Miss HKs nowadays are so untalented. Back then they where more talented and probably better looking too. What happened? I remember back then when the Miss HKs first started in TVB, like Noel aka Vivian Leung, Ada Choi, Marianne, etc., they could act unlike the gals nowadays who were just horrible when they started and still hasn't really improved that much.

Totally agree with you axt, it seems that miss HK nowadays arn't getting enough decent acting lessons/training before they play leading parts in TVB series.

I think its kinda unfair that Miss HKs can jump the line ahead of 'mainsteam' actresses who worked hard to slowing climb up within the industry - take Annie for example, she's been acting a for long time (i recall seeing her in an old ATV anicent drama in the early 90s)

I'm not saying miss HK arnt talented actress (many are) but in recent years i'm yet to find one that is to my liking...

I just got to say that let's thank Mandy Cho for not giving a shot for shooting TVB series. I hope she never will...because I could tell she's bad at it also.

Bah...I wanted to watch The Link because it seems to be good and Ada Choi is my second favorite actress...but I think it's a bit too long and the rental store might not have it anymore. Never mind, they have 1 set but it's rented out (can you believe it..people still watch it!).

We all know Annie deserves lead role...but as long as she's happy with supporting (she's tired of being lead in a small company so she wants better even if her rank is lower). Come on, we should be happy for her, because she's feeling okay for her job!

I didn't know that Annie wanted to take less leading roles, i thought it was because TVB felt her performance in Take My Word For It wasn't good, so they sidelined her - i read this from HK tabloid.

Well i guess if she says that she's happy with her current workload, then we should support that decision.

Has anyone seem Annie in a fairly new MTV with Ronald Cheng? she looks really good in it.

Well, she started taking work, but she declined many requests because she was uncomfortable in being sexy or being flirty...So, mostly she just took roles she was comfortable with. Don't ever believe the tabloids, who knows how many lies they have?

I have seen Annie in Ronald Cheng's MV, but that was pretty long ago...is it another one?

Hi all !!! What is the "Link?" Is it a good series, I've never heard of it? Yeah, I agree, if Annie's happy with her decision then we should be happy for her too and support her.

It's called "The Link" starring Ada Choi as the villain (they said it was an oustanding performance) along with Gigi Lai, Eddie Kwan, Lawrence Ng (they said they flipped the characters in that other series...I forgot the name), and I think Amy Kwok too...it was produced in 1993, there's one review on it in spc.

I haven't been watching series lately...nothing good, I'm just waiting for the reutrn of the tapes so I can watch that series!

That was just a lied since if that actually happen then why are most Beauty Pagnant Queens are still promoted. Beside I think it was the character problem not the actress. I thought her problem was okay, not bad or horrible. The problem was that TVB didn't given her much of a character to play on. Beside TMWFI was one of the top ten series last year or something.

Agree with you bubcas that Annie is relaly compatiable with Ellesmere!!! I love these two togehter. First though I would say she is best with Benny Chan then probably Ellesmere. Next maybe Gilbert? hehe

I've been watching Riches and Stitches and it's pretty decent. The actors and actresses all have years of experience in acting, so nobody spoils the show! The only drawback is that there are none of my favorites in there...but oh well, better than nothing.

To Love With No Regrets is coming out in March! Wonder when I could watch it...can't wait to see Annie on screen again!!
