Hey there botan!!!

So your not really enjoying it huh? hehe, except Annie of course. I'm having second thoughts on this serial since I already don't have too high of hopes for it plus I don't really like the storyline at all. Then again Annie!! Lol, but I won't like her minor role. I guess I'll see what mood I'm in when at the rental store

I like Evergreen, but for some reason, I'm not too happy to watch him as a "lead" in this serial.....And Bosco, I don't quite like him so much. Then again I really ilke Amy!!!

Hehe, rewatching some tapes of Coincidentally adn I love Annie with Frankie!!! They are sooooooo great in there I find it wonderfully how both could make their eyes look so teary!!! hehe

Yeah, I didn't really enjoy "To Love" that much except for Annie. I wish she could get more screentime. Very refreshing watching her play a character with an attitude problem. I wasn't planning on renting the series but I thought I'd give it a try since Annie's in it. It's not like the series is a bad series, maybe something you can watch to pass time.

I agree, I like Evergreen but prefer him playing secondary roles instead. Judging from the first few episodes, his character and Amy's character are pretty boring. Gosh, maybe it's me but for some odd reason Amy reminds me of Deric Wan. She's like a feminine version of him, like his twin sister or something. I'm not too fond of Bosco either, he's a pretty good actor for a newbie but I don't like him playing leading roles.

I think Annie in the series will end up with that actor that was in Greed Mask, I forgot his name. He was also the pig in "Journey to the West."

Anyways, I hope she gets a big role in "One Beautiful Spear." Is that series done filming? I probably won't be watching that series though since Charmaine is in it. I'm trying to avoid any series with her in it.

Hmm, TLWNR is boring, botan? I've got it stashed after I read bit of the thread in this forum about it. I was quite excited too because this series will be the first time I actually get to hear Annie's real voice at work! BF2 and PITNOL were dubbed into Mandarin over my cable channel. Anyways, I don't have time to watch shows above what's airing on screen right now, so I guess I'll say more when I get to see TLWNR.

Amy does look somewhat like Deric. Or is it because you've seen A Good Match From Heaven where they paired up? They were rather cute in there.

Annie plays a supporting character in One Beautiful Spear. She's paired up with Sunny, who just came back to TVB. She looks really petite standing next to his tall frame in the costume fitting photos. I'm quite satisfied with the pairing, but I hope she gets more screen time because like you, I am so sick of seeing Charmaine I feel like smacking her whenever she comes on screen.

I actually thought that for a supporting role in BF2, Annie actually got quite a bit of screen time. Even Wong Hei and Maggie didn't exactly dominate the series, which was very healthy in my opinion.

Amy and Deric were very cute there!!! Match very nicely and they are supposed to be filming another serial togehter now!! Yay, I am very excited. Liked their pairing a lot in AGMFH so can't wait for the new drama!!!

Oh, you are probably referring to Wayne Lai huh? So his character supposedly will end with Annie? I don't think they have chemistry, but who knows. Do they have chemistry onscreen?

I know what you guys mean!!! I've been trying to dodge some of Charmaine's serials too, but its quite difficult since she had a lot out. Thank goodness it has slowed down. I think I will rent One Beautfiul Spear since I'm not going to let Charmaine ruin it for me. I love everyone else in the casting and I think Annie looks very cute. Looking forward to her chemistry with Sunny

Hey everybody.... Yeah, Greed Mask is showing over cable for me as well. So far... I must admit, it's quite slow-paced.... I hope it gets better. However, I like how they twist and turn the plot.. is it supposed to be a mystery genre drama series?

Anyway, Arashi... just to ask... are you the same Arashi in jdorama.com.... as in, are you arashinokoto aka velda? If you aren't please just excuse me 'cos I also have a net friend who's a Singaporean, and loves arashi, and... who has a nickname somewhat like yours. How old are you btw?

I saw the trailer of Greed Mask. Apparently some one killed Feng's (The main character's name .. is it Feng? Not too sure.) uncle. Must be someone within the family. From what I know, Tong Tong was suspected... but how is she deaf? In the middle of the drama?

Well, you guys might like "To Love." Just give the series a try, it depends on preference. I might of had too high expectations on that series, maybe that's why I didn't enjoy the beginning that much.

Nope, I haven't seen "A Good Match From Heaven" or even heard of the series but I do think Amy and Deric resemble each other.

Yeah, that's his name Wayne Lai. I haven't watched far enough to see Annie and Wayne in a scene together, so I have no idea if they have any chemistry. But who knows, both of them are very good actors and probably will have chemistry. But I do think Wayne looks a bit older than Annie.

LOL, I always feel like smacking Charmaine too every time she's on screen. There's just something I can't stand about her other than the fact that she's overpromoted and overrated. She acts so unnatural, always acting cute. Even seeing her in photos of news article, the way she poses is so unnatural and fake looking. I think the reason why she's in less series than before is because of Sonija and Shirley. Both of those actresses are heavily promoted too.

Anyways back to Annie. Hey Buffy, I thought Annie was very funny in "Slim Chances" too. It was funny everytime she scratched. I thought Kevin and Annie were a cute couple. Those two were what kept me watching the series. I wouldn't mind them being paired in another series, just hope Kevin improves his acting skills though.

About Greed Mask, the beginning of the series is a bit slow but it gets really interesting later on. You guys will just have to watch it to see what happens and who the murderer is otherwise if it gets spoiled than the series wouldn't be fun to watch .

If you ever have the time axt, you should try to look out for A Good Match From Heaven. Its a short serial, less then 20 eps in Chinese and also stars Jessica Husan, David Sui, Joey Leung, and etc.

I agree. Wayne and Annie both are talented artist, but seems like they aren't treated too well huh? Yeah, he might look a little older then her, but they could match. I'm picturing them from Greed Mask...even though they didn't have any scenes togehter I don't think.

Greed Mask reminds me of playing Cluedo somehow. I'm still not used to how Roger and Annie doesn't seem to have anything better to do than rummage around in the family closet all day long. But even if the premise is forced, the cases are interesting enough. I'm hoping it gets more how shall I put it...'interactive' like the DIF series. The writing for this show somehow doesn't really invite the audience to make speculations as the plot unfolds.

Goddess: I'm really not a big fan of detective/crime drama, so technically, DIF4 was the first detective series I've watched in its entirety. And I end up using it to compare to lots of other shows.

Greed Mask is at the point where it's revealed Christina Ng is Roger's half-sister. I'll bet Roger is not his father's real son, right? And I absolutely think Annie didn't kill her uncle, but why is she involved in creating false evidence? Hmm, hmm...I'm guessing the killer is Gilbert Lam.

Thank you so much for the news Melanie. Yay, Annie and Chi Lam will be in a series, I hope they will be paired together . Ooh and Maggie Siu and Kevin Cheng are in the series too. Hmm, but the only casting I don't like in there is Charmaine. But I definately will watch this series if they do decide to film it and just ignore Charm. The series is an ancient one, right?

Hi Arashi, are you enjoying Greed Mask? Hey, looks like all your guesses are right. Yes, Roger is not the real son and Gilbert is one of the killer but there is one more person. Can you guess who it is? I just noticed you changed your avatar Arashi, it's very nice .

Same here, I don't hate the three Miss HKs, I just dislike them, especially Charm and Sonija. Maybe if they improve more and aren't in so many series than I would change my mind.

I think Slim Chances was okay, it wasn't that funny though. I found Lydia Shum kind of annoying, she had too much screentime and most of the time when she's on screen we see her yapping and eating chocolates . I agree Buffy, both Annie and Kevin had little screentime and their relationship wasn't developed well. I was very disappointed when Annie didn't have a lot of screentime, she was like a secondary character. There was this scene that I thought was hilarious, the part where Annie gets her skirt caught in an exercising machine and her skirt rips showing her "Hello Mimi" shorts. I thought that scene was probably the funniest.

I think Annie, is actually 28 years old or maybe 27 turning 28. She must have been acting at a very young age. Anyone know how long she has been acting?

I saw the list of the cast for Healing Hands 3. Looks like they completely changed the cast. I was so disappointed when I didn't see Annie, Chi Lam, Louis, Roger, and Maggie Siu on the cast list . I was so looking forward to HH3 and was hoping to see all those actors in one series. I wonder what happened, why a different cast from the sales presentation? I hate it how TVB makes changes like that. I was all excited for nothing. But I guess I feel a little better now after reading about the new series that Melanie posted. I really hope they will film the series and will keep the cast. It would be nice if they made a minor change, maybe not cast Charmaine .

There is actually some names I didn't see before. There was also some unconfirmed spoilers in it, read it and I don't like it....... I don't think TVB will get far with what its planning.
