Finally came across some news on Annie. Credit to Jayne Stars http://jaynestars.com/index.php?name...rticle&sid=989
"Since Wong Jing joined See Corporation Ltd., he has produced numerous projects. Wong Jing will be filming a remake of "Wong Fei Hung," starring Dicky Cheung Wai Kin, Alice Chan Wai, Annie Man Chung Han, Lam Chi Chung, Leung Man Yee, and Lee Si Pui. Dicky will be playing the title character, Wong Fei Hung.
Dicky will be entangled in a romantic triangle with Annie Man and Alice Chan. Dicky will likely add his trademark humor when playing the famous folk hero, Wong Fei Hung.
Lam Chi Chung will play Chu Yuk Wing and Cheung Ka Lun will play Ga Chat So."
Also, there is a new site in English called "Annie Man Chung Han's Memory Lane" dedicated to Annie which will have recent updates. http://chibilite.livejournal.com/

Annie Man Spends Birthday Filming in Hengdian
Annie Man Chung Lan is currently filming mainland series, "Wong Fei Hung" 《黃飛鴻》in Hengdian. Co-stars include Dicky Cheung Wai Kin, Lam Chi Chung, Cheung Ka Lun etc.
On the day of her birthday, Annie had to work. Although she hoped for a romantic celebration, Annie could only drink red wine with her assistant in the hotel room. Fortunately, there was a handsome man who gave her a bouquet of flowers before filming started, giving Annie a pleasant surprise!
July 20th was Annie's birthday. Although she had high expectations for her birthday celebration, Annie received the notice to film in Hengdian one day before her birthday.
Quietly drinking red wine at 12 AM with her assistant in the hotel room, Annie was surprised when Producer Wong Jing and co-stars, Dicky, Lam Chi Chung, Cheung Ka Lun etc. appeared with a birthday cake. "Fei Jai Chung," (Lam Chi Chung), gave Annie a bouquet of flowers. Annie said happily, "Fei Jai Chung is so cute and offers security. Of course I was pleased!"
Filming under intense heat in Hengdian, Annie laughed that she was forced to wear sleeveless tops to reveal her figure. The temperates often soared above 40 degrees Celsius. "Each time we filmed outdoors, my body would be soaked with sweat before the cameras started rolling! My make-up often melted too."
"A crew member even had a heat stroke. In one scene, I was pushing a cart with an actor who played my father in the series. After pushing the cart several times, the actor started vomiting. I also grew dizzy as well. Fortunately, I drank a lot of water and used cold towels to cool off."
Despite the discomfort in filming under intense heat, Annie got along very well with her colleagues. She slowly adjusted to the local high temperatures and filmed happily in Hengdian.

Thanks Botan for sharing the news.
I finally got my mom to watch Heroine of the Yangs and I hope she'll like it as much as I do.
OMG, who did Annie's makeup and hair in that picture? Maybe it's the sweat that makes her makeup look weird. Because she really looks tired in that picture.
Where is Gilbert Lam nowadays, Annie and Gilbert needs to get together in another series and this time play lovers/gf/bf or spouses, I don't care, just not stepfather-daughter or father-daughter roles.
I just love how you Captivate My Mind
Self reminder - Update blog more often and continue editing/writing for TOV fanfic.
You are welcome Suet Seung! I agree, Annie looks very tired in the picture, exhausted from heat. LOL, I agree with you about Annie and Gilbert being in another series together as well.
did she return to tvb? she was in a pillow case mystery with kenix and bobby.
No, I don't think she returned to TVB since she is filming a Mainland series with Dicky Cheung. I think A Pillow Case of Mystery was her last series with TVB.
Any news on Annie Man? She left TVB, but somehow she returned to film A Pillow Case Mystery. Her role was very small though I heard. If she's not coming back permanently, I find it weird that she returned to film this series because she was complaining about her roles were too similar and small always. That's why she left. Annie is a great actress and I so wish she will get more roles, but too bad, TVB is too absorbed into promoting their newbies that can't even act.
A Pillow Case Mystery was filmed over 2 years ago. She completed her TVB contract series before leaving to begin a career in China. I'm pretty sure she left TVB because the opportunities became very dim. She did say that her size and look became an obvious disadvantage, but mostly the roles she was given were too redundant with little chance for development or break-through. China is a huge market these days and so she thought, why not try to break into that market? I think last year at her birthday party her manager said her birthday present was getting her a role in a China series.
Annie and Frankie is the perfect couple. I wish both of them will act in a new series again. Too bad that Annie left TVB after her final series A Pillow Case of Mystery. She is a great actress. I still watch Colorful Life over and over again!![]()

Annie still looks young and pretty..can't wait to see her new series.
How come most 江湖 (jiānghú) wanderers never worry about money? I wonder how a 大俠 (dàxiá) make a living...does meddling in people's business and righting wrongs pay well?
Was Diet Ma Hiep Dao not vampire expert II? Vampire Expert I was called Ma Dao Trang Ba and I don't think Frankie was in it (not sure though). Sadly Frankie and Annie did not end up together in Vampire Expert II. I was actually not talking about this show, however. I was talking about Coincidentally called Duyen Keip Luan Hoi in viet (I was too lazy to look this up earlier).
