he's gorgeous! I've never heard of him before Warlords but now the more i see him the more attractive he gets! he has a great smile!

Same here, I've never heard of him until a few months ago, after I had watched <Jin Fen Shi Jia>, but before <Zheng Ba> came out.

He has been crazy-busy these days. After finishing the film <Men>, he went straight into filming the tv series <Qin Zheng Jin Sheng> with some chinese acting heavyweights, chen bao guo and chen jian bin. He plays a rock-and-roll singer here.


According to his website, he is also currently rumoured to be linked with a few upcoming projects:

1)a remake of C'est La Vie, Mon Cheri directed by HK's Derek Yee

2)a movie production called <Mei Lan Fang> by chen kaige

3)a CCTV-TVB collaboration about the anniversary of the handover

4)the sequel/prequel to tvb's Warlords

5)a mystery production thats supposed to also star fan bingbing or huang sheng yi

in all likelihood, only one of them is true; somehow he also has to find time to promote his current album after he cancelling this month's activities due to his filming schedule; last but not least he is contractually obligated by BMG-Sony to produce another album by the end of the year

I just finished watch Chen Kun's "The Conquest" I thought he did a really good job so I started renting his older TV Series, like "The Story of the Noble Family"

I am not sure if this is ture, but I read somewhere online (some japanese fan site) that he has indian blood in him (his father's side)?

I find that Chen Kun is not that a good of an actor. His acting is pretty fake and wooden after watching "Farewell Vancouver" and "The Story of a Noble Family."

I happen to know the answer to your question cuz someone posted something similar in his baidu board last month.

chen kun is 100% chinese of Han ethnicity.

it all started when an irresponsible chinese journalist wrote in an article, some time ago, that CK has 1/4 Nepalese, without checking the facts. it got circulated around and soon one thing led to another....his father became an Indian. the jp press mistook it for real and wrote the same thing when CK went to japan for a mag shoot.

having said that, he has very Caucasoid facial features.

in person, he is really dark (but not of the artificial gu tianle type) and skinny (from overworking and being a vegetarian)
