MG was an all right series. It was good at the time, but I soon saw better ones. Yeah I've seen the news about Dai S and Zai Zai. Somehow, I don't see how he can stand her. lol, I mean I liked Dai S in MG, but in real life... eh... she seems so bosy and inconsiderate of other people's feelings. But I dunno, I guess as long as they're happy... -.-

Oh that's such a nice capture! In Sung looks sooooooooo sad! Poor thing!! =( It looks like his acting is getting better and better though! Ai I really can't wait to see it! Yeah there's no place here in my city that's going to be showing it, that's for sure. Awww lucky you! I want a poster!! lol

Heehee yep yep, I'm Chinese ^__^ I can speak cantonese and understand some Mandarin, but I don't know how to write. I'm beginning to be able to read some really really really simple Chinese characters though! Hahaha watching TVB series and Korean dramas really help! The subtitles are hard to miss. lol... in big sities, there' plenty to do, but here in the small city I live in, it's either the mall... or em... the mall! It's boring, but when I think about it, I guess it's ok, since I don't really like going out that much. My home's nice and cozy ah! heheh

Age is just a number, doesn't really matter la! And no you're not getting old. My brother's pretty much the same age as you. And you know what, if you didn't tell me, I wouldn't have even realized it. It's so easy and fun talking to you Sally!

Ok, I finished MOB with my mom last night. The ending fitted with the rest of the story and I had already known about the ending before I began watching the show, so it wasn't a surprise. I had really high hopes and expectations for this drama when i first started. The reasons were because of the great reviews, recommendations, and the show getting an award for best script. As much as I love In Sung (heehee yeah I've grown to love him), I'm disapointed. Instead of getting better and better, MOB went downhill. What started as something that could have so many twists and turns ended up with nothing as the episodes went along. It was dragging so much in the middle of the drama and it wasn't until the last six episodes did changes and ACTION took place.

It was exciting seeing how charming JIS was as Jaemin, but I didn't like how the script writer made his character so stubborn and stupid in a way. Why, why, why did he have to love a woman like Shui Jing?? He had such a bright future ahead of him, did he really have to do everything he did in the drama? There's so many women in this world (i.e ME and SALLY) it's not just Shui Jing, Sui Jing, Shui Jing! Gah!! And I hate weak guys. Did Jaemin really have to feel as if the world has fallen down when Shui Jing wasn't by his side??? It was getting to the point where I felt he was pathetic. His life revolved soley around one woman. It was just SAD. Jaemin was such an attractive character with a wonderful personalty in the beginning, why did they have to change him so much? I understand that there has to be change in a character, but this change just didn't appeal to me at all. Man, I love Jaemin, if only he didn't love Shui Jing so much... his love was just crazy!

And about Shui Jing. There's really not much that I want to say about her. She's selfish, selfless, annoying, and there's nothing about her that I admire, nor do I pity her, even though she cries a lot. I don't feel any of her pain. She's been manipulating two guys and yet she's still not satisfied. I still say she wanted BOTH of them. She really deserved to die and to die ALONE, if you ask me.

Ren Zhu... he was a man that was nothing compared to Jaemin (same in real life too! Heehee) and I didn't like his character because he was fighting for Shui Jing, since I favor Jaemin, BUT, on a deeper note, he wasn't a bad person, I can't really hate him for trying to win the woman he loved. He, like Jaemin, was plain stupid. Gah, what's there to fight about, Shui Jing was NOT worth it at all. Near the end of the drama I started to see him in a new light, and actually have a little admiration for him. At the last scene he was willing to let Shui Jing choose the path she wanted. Unlike Jaemin, who went ahead and killed them instead of giving them his blessing. Geeez the script writer did a HORRIBLE job. How in the world did they win an award? It's unbelievable. If it was me, I wouldn't have written Jaemin's character like that, I would have made him see the bright side in this world and have him grow up after all that's happened. The script writer completely RUINED him. Did they think this kind of ending was dynamic? Psshhh! It only made him look like a maniac! Even though I have said that Shui Jing deserved to die, Jaemin shouldn't have been the one that did the killing! Ok and while I'm talking about Shui Jing... wth?? She tells Jaemin that she LOVES him when she dies?! How many oppurtunities did she have in MOB to tell him? A LOT and yet she finally realizes it in the end after he ends her life? And she had to sleep with Ren Zhu to get her thoughts straight??? It's just... argh!!! This drama makes me so angry! Angry for Jaemin, angry for the undeserving award winning script, and angry for myself.

Ai there's so much more I want to talk about this drama, but I think I'm getting a little... heated. lol... so anyway, I must add I love In Sung and I did love Jaemin, only the character made me frustrated. MOB wasn't too bad, it just wasn't as good as I hoped it would be. If MOB moved a little faster, and didn't make the characters so unlikeable at points of the story, then I would have been content.

The parts that I DID like the most in this drama would definitely be the scenes where they were all in Bali. It was that time when I actually felt and saw that the four of them did have personalities, did have goals, did have their souls, and did have themselves. It's depressing how they lost all of this when they slowly fell into the love pit they created and can never climb back out.

Woah this getting long, but there's so much more I want to say! lol like the acting and stuff! MOB is just a never ending topic with so much that I want to talk about! Hahaha... until tomorrow though, I have so much homework to do, I'll be back tomorrow. lol and to keep this JIS thread alive!

That great to hear that you had finish watching MOB.... As you already know the ending and some part of the story you won't be suprise with the ending. But when I watch that time I total don't know anything but did heard from my frind that the ending is very sad....But I didn't even think of the ending to be in this way....Actually you right the story got a few up down and that a trick I think that make ppl wan to know why and get more interested with the show.....

Do you know actually JIS at first was post to act as RZ role but later his role get change to JM and when he was acting this role he add in some of his thinking that how JM should behave like the one he mistake the shoe as handphone and he sleeping in his office desk and he was dripping with salives...heheeee As for JM role I think that the way A rich spoil child will behave... stubborn and native in something which think $ is everything in them that can use to buy thing.....Why he like SJ... first he didn't even recongise her when she go and look for him in the office but Rich boy always like to look for something that is different and don;t like the feeling being reject so slowly from there JM find SJ is different type of girl than all the others girls he know from the past....and when a person is deeply in love with someone his life his everything is only that person....and when JM know that the woman he love so much cheated on him and run away with RZ....(JM think that SJ and RZ plan to his brother $ and that cause his brother warded and in otherway his trusted SJ but this is what he get) his pathetic look show how hurt he is and he is just a ZOMBIE walking........But from the start till the end I really think I like JM role the most and most of all because of JIS acting bring out the life for JM....

For SJ role I will say was kind of pitiful....got a loser brother that always get into trouble....Living a poor life and need to find $ to settle his BRO problem.Actually he like RZ first as she know RZ and her is living in same life....But RZ attuide make her don;t know what to do...as other JM keep asking her out doing so many thing for her..... So her heart change and LOVE JM but she know she can't as they are living in a different world and plus JM family..... so she chose to leave with RZ and thought she will be happy by leaving but she didn't know her heart is already given to JM long ago.......and that Y at the last part she then tell JM actually the one she love is him....but everything is too late..... agree with you why took her so long then open her mouth to just say this 3 words....

For RZ role ....he was in a role that no much talking is his inner feeling to show as that what his role is about.....I don't like or hate him.....but 60% I don't like him lah....find is a rubbish jokers.... So I don't have much to comment about him..... For PYJ (the other girl) I find her the worst out of all the role .... can't stand her more after she marry to JM keep touching JM and I feel great when JM tell her DON"T TOUCH ME...... she deserve that....so for her I don't wan to comment much but actually she is the most pitiful role even she didn't need to be kill as from the start till the end both of the man don't love her at all.... That what make life misereable....

For MOB winning so many awards what I can say JIS acting was awesome his tears move everyone heart...but do u knw actually from the start SBS didn't really promote JIS much in MOB they promote SJS more than him...... as JIS was still a new actor BUT JIS PROVE SBS wrong ......He is young but he can act and acted very good..... I like JM role very much which I can say if there a man who like me like him I will give up everything to be with me. If that man is JIS will be even GREAT>>>cause I totally in LOVE with Insung ssi but HAHAHAHA that will be in my dream lah...... Anyway try to watch MOB again and you will understand the story more.......As me I watch it 3 times and now I even ask my friend to buy me one set in HONG KONG cause I want to hear them in cantonese version....heheeee

U are not heated it just an normal thing I was like you when the first time I finish MOB...hahahaha So I promise I tell you my favourite part after you finish the show.......The favourite part is when SJ call JM to congra him on his wedding but JM was trying so hard to hold on his tears as he scare to let SJ know he crying..cause he scare his father will harm SJ so he had to stop seeing her....

And the pic of him ohhhh.... I melt. Love it. It takes my breath away and gives me a feeling that I have to WATCH this movie and somehow it reminds me a picture of Kwon Sang Won in 'Project X'. A similar expression.

Heehee actually Sally, I haven't watched many Taiwanese series. They're all pretty boring and practically the same storyline every single time. I don't like it much. When I was saying that I watched better series I meant k-dramas, since Taiwan series and k-drama's both lean toward the love stories genre, but Taiwan series, in my opinion, are just draggy and bad. If anything, I would definitely watch k-dramas, more romantic, and more beautiful people!

Yeah I love watching TV! lol, it's great entertainment and so is my computer! Haha I can go online, chat, and write my fanfics. So yep yep I like staying home too!

Mmmm... MOB...

I really don't see how anyone can love HJW's character, Shui Jing. Shui Jing was the root of all problems. I can't forgive her for all the trouble she caused, no matter how confused she might have felt. If only she made a decision on who to love in the beginning, there wouldn't be any conflict or tragedy for the two male leads. I seriously hate her for tormenting Jaemin and Ren Zhu too for that matter. And once again, I definitely don't pity her one bit. What's there to pity about? Yeah, she has a bad brother and doesn't have a job. Oh how sad! NOT! Come on! Those aren't reasons at all. Every person in this world faces problems! Shui Jing could have gotten a job and maybe even a part time job too if she needed, but she choose to squeeze money out of Jaemin, work at the art gallery where everyone hated her, and then eventually become Jaemin's mistress!! What kind of person was she?? The only conclusion I can come up for her actions is that she loved money and most of all, loved herself. She didn't love Ren Zhu or Jaemin or at least the love for them was small. If she didcare about them, she wouldn't have treated them so badly. What she did is not what I call love. It's always about herself and only herself. She was so inconsiderate of their feelings.

As for Young Joo, she was also another stupid person. Man, there's so many men in this world, why did she have to torture herself? Since Jaemin and Ren Zhu didn't love her, why did she have to be so dumb and hang on to the both of them? Like Jaemin can do so much better without Shui Jing, I think Young Joo can also do really well if only she let go of the two crazy and stupid men.

The characters are just so controversial. It's irritating and a frustrating thing to watch. I mean like...

Shui Jing, I thought she had dignity, but then she accepts Jaemin's money and agrees to be his mistress. OK... so she didn't have dignity, right? But, then she has to cry about it and make it seem as if she was the most vulnerable person on earth! The script writer should have made her a person with dignity or vice versa. I, myself, would made made her someone completely without pride because that way it would have made the show juicer and maybe even more exciting. What I mean is like this... I would write it so Shui Jing chooses to be Jaemin's mistress even though she may like Ren Zhu, however, if anything she loves money more, but along the way she loves Jaemin and not just his money and through the process, she's strong and doesn't regret her decision, unlike how she normally does in the drama. So it's either dignity or no dignity, it's so simple. But, they made Shui Jing jump back and forth.

Jaemin, well, somewhere in the show they hinted that he cared a lot for the company, which is why he married Young Joo, but then, why didn't he do anything? He just came off as a rich, spoiled, brat.... a really cute one ^__- ... but no, they just didn't develop his character enough. His life was like just about love and nothing else.

So yeah, I guess what I'm trying to say is MOB did not go to it's extreme, like I wanted. Instead of it being black or white, the story, people, personalities, etc. where in the grey area. It should have been a darker drama, or a lighter one.

On acting...

In Sung did a fabulous job portraying Jaemin. He was just so darn attractive!!! I'd say it was better than in Spring Day, as he didn't seem to go over the top. So he really did deserve to get the award! lol yeah I heard about the role switch. Haha I can't imagine SJS as Jaemin. No way! lol, but I can see In Sung as Ren Zhu, he would have been so cool!

SJS... did a horrible job in MOB! I'm sorry, but he was like a statue in the whole show. There was no expression at all. Yeah yeah I know he's introverted, but so am I! And I'm nothing like how he acted. Show some sign of feeling, please! lol

HJW... I dunno, I guess I'll have to say she a marvelous job acting as Shui Jing?? LMAO... what else can I say? I hated the chracter so much. She must have done something right to make it so convincing.

And as for the other female lead, I forgot her name, she did a decent job. Some of her expressions were a little weird, but if not for that, she was alright.

Heeheee, I agree, if a man like Jaemin appeared in my life, I wouldn't have to think twice about it like Shui Jing. I would accept him right away!

Oh you're getting the canto version? I have the korean and mandarin version. It seems to me that mandarin dubbed versions sound better. The people have better voices. Like for Spring Day, the cantonese voice of In Sung was terrible! He sounded like a whiny little kid! -.-

Sad Sonata? Mmmm it's the one with Kwon Sang Woo, right? No I haven't watched it. Draggy eh? Is the storyling worth it though, I mean for me to go and watch it? Do you like it Sally?

I've only watched KSW in Stairway to Heaven. The drama was bad with so many unexplained things and unbelievable scenes and it was dragging so much, but KSW's character was quite charming.

Right now, I'm watching Heaven's Tree. Have you seen it yet? It's just a different version of Stairway to Heaven, but strangely, I like the show... and Lee Wan. Haha

Genna, I also didn't watch much Taiwanese series after MG cause I also find them boring as the people I don't really like them.So I change to K_drama, but I also only watch the show which I find the actors or actoress I like.... For those Person I don't like I don't even bother to watch at all, as I think WINTER SONATA was so popular but I just don't like BYJ so I don't even want to watch when it was show in my local TV programme...hahaha I very bad right...

They have "THOSE THING WITH THE CUSTOMER JUST BECAUSE OF $" but they don't love them as to do those thing for $ mean there is NO LOVE u r doing business..... First she become JM mistress because of $ but later when she know how JM feel she is not.......But after she left JM and JM got marry she is sad, she was thinking why JM didn't tell her and go and look for him but she was being reject by JM( cause JM scare his father will kill SJ so JM had no choice...POOR JM) and after JM marry she call him just to wish him congra but JM behave that way( Remember the part JM hold the phone wanted to cry but still hold his tears) SJ was hurt. ..but they still meet up and JM give her $ again and this make SJ think JM only think that she wanted to meet just because of $ but she never will know that the only thing that JM can do for her that time....

JM first didn't stop the married becasue he scare his father and he don;t wan to lose everything he had...but later when he really had to marry is because His father tell him if he don't marry YJ he will kill SJ,so JM had no choice but to marry YJ and keep SJ life.(This thing SJ will never know even to the days she dead)JM character to me is ok as that what a boy from a rich family will do aspecially got those kind of father,mother and brother that what he will behave....... But I like the way he treated his love....

Yes Insung did an fabulous work as JM....his dressing his love OMG was awesome!!! I don't Spring Day was that bad as it was equal good it just that in MOB can show more than in SD but his acting in both was just as good in them...SJS to act JM role....Opls!!! OUT no need to say,but if Insung as RZ i think he can do it...

SJS didn't really did a horrible job in MOB it just that his role inside MOB is a person with no much words so no much expression but he was actually too much no expression and sometime getting bored seeing him sonetime...hahahaha

Yes for HJW as she really show how SJ should be in that role....As for YJ role also not bad but poor thing for her as she show is not really that much but she also did a good work.

I got the Chinese version so I tot maybe listen to the cantonese version as I like to hear how Korea show in cantonese. As I also watch TVB drama and I like ....heehee!!!You mean you watch SD in cantonese version that great you know what I like the cantonese song of SD. DO you know the title I know it sing by RON NG..... I think if it was dube in Hong Kong will be that bad lah maybe you got the one in CHINA as you know if you watch show dube in CHINA that sound is very funny....like if you buy CHINESE version u should take one that dube from TAIWAN and if in cantonese must from HongKong.... I brought so DISNEY cartoon in cantonese in HK that was cool....and funny

Yes Sad sonata was act my KSW... I like Kim Hee Sum so I watch the drama but I also like KSW but in the drama I prefer the other main actor his name is Yeon.....(cannot remember)I find him good acting in here...as KSW was like draggy too much.... I will say it a good story as you can say something like STH but you will actually find a lot of ??? in there...but I cry from ep1 till ep 20 hahahaha but after ep20 I stop till the last ep then I cry cause KSW dead.... as If you will to ask STH or SS I will say STH is better story than SS....more meaning....

Yes...... I like KSW in STH very charming but compare with JM still OUT....hahahaha

Your version of MOB sounds much better than how MOB actually ended. I don't like how they made Jaemin do such a crazy thing, sure Shui Jing should die, lol, but it was just... ugh. And it's funny how MOB started out as a lighthearted drama, but ended in such a sick way.

The canto song of Spring Day was sang by RON NG?? I really really really, dislike him. His acting skills are terrible, he can't sing, he's not good looking, and yet he thinks he's all that >.< I never heard the cantonese version of the song though, I've only heard the original one, which I really like. The dubbing for Spring Day wasn't from China, I thought it was Hong Kong... but yeah I hate China dubbing, they sound so weird... lol I buy the Taiwan dubbed versions.

Stairway to Heaven was better? lol then Sad Sonata must have been bad! Stariway to Heaven was so unrealistic and got so draggy! And we can't forget CJW

When you get a chance you should see Heaven's Tree. It's a short drama and it was quite romantic and bittersweet. ^__^
