In my opinion, pretty can mean someone who is very attractive or cute, whom one would want to keep looking at, but of course, still possessiong certain conventional traits of beauty as well. For me, Barbara Yung is someone like that. (She is a famous actress of the 80s who acted as Wong Yung in LOCH, and who, very sadly, is no longer alive.) Although Barbara is not extremely beautiful in a conventional way, I have grown to love her beauty and believe that she is in deed one of the prettiest actresses I've ever seen...
