She plays Li Hong Xiu, one of Chu Liu Xiang's 3 bossom female buddies.

i haven't read the novels .. but I always thought Li Hong Xiu was the one with wuxia knowledge and medicinal knowledge? I don't think she plays a cute cute sidekick

Yeah, the impression i got from Cheung Sai's portrayal in CLX'2000 was that LHX is more the serious, cool and smart type. The cute little sidekick is Song Tian-er.

Yay, a Sun Feifei's thread!!!! I love this girl, especially her cute role in Ping Zong Xia Ying! Oh by the way, I'm a noob here! I first saw her in the new Sword Stained with Royal Blood. I was actually looking forward for Eva, but instead I love SFF's Ah Jiu more. Maybe because I like her Ah Jiu more than Charmaine's. Then I started looking for her other films such as Ping Zong Xia Ying and Kai Chuang Sheng Shi. I really like her and believe she is a very good actress. Anyone know what she's up to now?? I know she has a movie that has finished filming called An American in China. Hopefully it will run in the theaters where I'm currently at.

Thanks for the trailer though, it looks pretty funny though the cross-cultural type of story has been filmed many times before and one thing i dont fancy about these types of films are the asian/western stereotypes they always enforce.

Nonetheless, Im looking forward to seeing SFF in action and her English is pretty alright (though rather thick accent) for a non English speaker. What's up with all the mainland actresses taking up English-speaking roles anyway? First Zhang Ziyi/Gong Li, then Zhang Jingchu, LYF, GYY, SFF etc.

It's a collaboration between Mainland and the U.S. There isn't an official date for release yet.

I know, every movie that has western and asian in it always have stereotypes, just like Jackie Chan's movies in the U.S.

And yeah SFF has a strong accent when attempting to speak English. I read from somewhere she learned English just for this movie. She's pretty good for her first attempt.

This movie is in English. I think there will be English sub since most U.S. movies have English subtitle.
