SFF's character did not actually die and ends up with Wallace whereas Huo Siyan (the other lead actress) ends up with another guy. Although SFF and Wallace end up together, it is explicitly stated Wallace only loves HSY and accepts SFF's love out of guilt/gratitude only.

I think she looks pretty good with Wallace and was disappointed that they were not real lovers in MGJH. Hence, its good to know that they're playing real lovers in this new series.

Apparently SFF's character is some sort of mole for the government, though she doesn't tell even her childhood sweetheart Wallace's character about her real motivations. This causes Wallace to turn away from her, and this kissing scene is one where they meet up after a long parting.

Fans of the pair are excited about this because apparently the pair also had a passionate kissing scene in MGJH but due to unknown reasons, the scene was censored in the final product.

Seems like there are also rumors that Wallace and SFF have romantic feelings for each other in real life which was sparked off during a recent promotional event for MGJH. Apparently the crew had to travel to Nanning to promote the series and because it was SFF's first visit to the city, Wallace took extra efforts to make her feel comfortable and at ease, even presenting her with flowers at the event. In addition, it is known that Wallace likes gentle girls and he recently told the press that SFF is a very demure lady.

And I have to say thought I love the kiss scene, I was more delighted with the NG scene... they do seem super cute together.... I know there's so much rumours in the entertainment world that most of them end up being shown to be false, but it'll be nice to imagine that this one is actually true.

And even if untrue, why can't they at least have one series where they are real lovers and end up with each other? Urg!

She was my dream pick for ZZR but oh wells..

yup, SFF has elegance, charm, and enough sweetness to light up the screen. and her watery eyes make her look so pitiful that i find her so hard to resist. if that is not the recipe to a great ZZR, i don't know what is. perhaps the actress in the new hsds will surprise everyone, but SFF is my #1 choice.

it's a shame that hot kiss was cut short. i want to see a clear shot of the kiss! lucky SFF, or rather lucky Wallace
