I remembered that Duan Yu saw a statue of Wang Yu Yan in a cave where he found a martial arts book. How did a statue of her get there? I don't know if it was ever explained in the series and I haven't read the story. Can anyone tell me?

It is not a statue of Wang Yuyan. It is a statue of Li Qiushui's sister (or maybe LQS herself, not 100% sure) who happens to look like WYY.

Yeah i think this has been discussed in older threads. I think TSTL and LQS never suspected Wu Ya Zi to be in love with the little sis because when they were vying for his affections she was still a little girl. I remember someone making a comment that WYZ was paedophilic.
