it's definately worth watching. not just because bosco or ray is in it. i like it as a wuxia adaption and i like it as an ancient series. it has an interesting plot...and...well you get it

but im not dat interested in ancient series so should i watch it??????

yes...excellent series with excellent plot... a must-watch for all! from age 10 to age 100.

so what did you not like about SS ?

I thought visually it was very good and there were good actors in it (with the exception of Mandy Cho and the Thai lady-sorry her name slipped my mind) but the ending was really disappointing! I could understand why Alex went mad after losing his daughter etc but Yoyo's r/ship with him was unconvincing and not based on anything substantial.

mandy only had a minor role , wasnt that impactful was it ?

yeah , the alex / yoyo coupling was interesting . you have to think bit deeply to get this one .

what the producers were trying to show was how a man on the outside - alex - gradually and unwittingly got drageed down into the worst stituation of his life .

when he tried to get out , it was too late - when his daughter died - a kind of ironic melancholy that the makers coveyed pretty good i think .

all in all , he came out the biggest loser despite starting on the fringe of affairs.

terrific show .

yah. i just started rewatching asitp and i'd like to say that is it great. way better than tob. maybe as good as lwolap. i like all those stuff louis does and all those people from the past are like: huh?

these are all adaptions of huang yi's novels. but among them, only asitp and lwolap are worth watching.
