Best TVB series

I want to watch some TVB series and i'm having trouble picking one.

i don't not want any ancient series but modern instead. police stories, or medical ones or business ones, anything is fine

i'm debating between files of greed mask and angels of mission

any other suggestions tho? please make them either modern (say within five years) or any classic ones, which can be really old. thanx

if it helps, i liked AR 1, 3,4 Golden Faith, Healing Hands, TLB, To get unstuck in time, to catch the uncatchable...etc

Definitly watch Greed Mask...don't watch angels of mission...it sucks. I hear Net Deception is good.

Too bad you don't like ancient series, Find the light is a pretty good series.

I would watch Greed Mask over Angels of Mission as well. But other good recommendations I have are: Split Second, Shine on you, Fate Twisters, and Triumphs in the Skies.

U should definitely watch Triumph in the Skies..Its the best series ever.. hehe.. Point of No Return is also good.

I also recommend Cold Blood Warm Heart, Detective Investigation Files I, II, and IV, and Shades of Truth if you don't mind a small quantity of ancient scenes.

Watch Greed Mask. Though I haven't watch Angels of Mission myself...but I reckon that u still watch GM. Also watch Survivor's Law. It's the best series ever! Watch Triumph in the Skies too. That's a good one. Trouble is I love all kind of series...ehehehe....very hard to choose!

is greed mask really scary?

i saw to get unstuck in the time already, loved the first part, didn't quite like the ending tho

When I started watching Triumph in the Skies, I wasn't expecting anything.. But it turned out to be really really good. hehe... Flora wasn't her best in here but the others (Francis Ng, Joe Ma n Myolie) makes up for it..the storyline's really good.. hehe.. Try it when u have nothing else to watch ok? hehe... I promise u won't regret it..
Cold Blood Warm Heart is the best series EVER! hehe... that series was the one that spark my love for TVB series.. hehe... Watch this one too ok?

Carol... despite Flora being in TITS... you've got to watch it! Flora didn't play a great role and if you stuck with Unstuck with Flora... and for Roger, you'd be fine with Triumph in the Skies. It's a fresh storyline although a bit cliche... but Francis Ng really delivered in here.

Second time around... I decided I liked Francis Ng best. And the plots that evolved aroud him and Myolie...

My ranking :

1) Greed Mask - this is "unstuck" without the love story, but it's more exciting than "unstuck. (If you can get over Roger's horrible hairstyle)

2) Cold Blood Warm Heart - Great cast and plot, acting is ok, but series too long

3) TITS - I only like the 1st 20 episodes.

Kenny, the beginning of Strike at Heart was BORING!! And I don't think it's really that good, my opinion though :P

My opinions on these series-

Triumph in the Skies- Something different from past TVB shows. But you'll lose interest after the first 20-25 episodes.

Angels of Mission- Throw it away. You might find it interesting in the beginning but it's gets worse (though you might wanna watch it if you're a fan of Charmaine.)

Greed Mask- Not too bad. Consider watching it

Love Bond- Pretty good with many family values in it.

Shades of Truth- A little ancient flashback and stuff, but its quite entertaining.

I'm going to throw out a few others even though many people here gave you some great suggestions. Since you liked Golden Faith and Armed Reaction, I would suggest Detective Investigation Files 2 and 4. Those are ranked pretty high in my favorite's list even though they are kind of old. If not now, these are dramas I would definitely recommend to be watched down the road.

As for the 3 suggested:

Greed Mask- I thought it was ok. Some episodes were kind of twisted. A few episodes were draggy. The ending was weird. In the second to last chapter, my reaction was "WOAH". It's not scary, but there are a few scenes that are kind of erie.

CBWH- This series was pretty intense. A lot of characters, a lot of drama, and tragedies. It is long, but if you like intense dramas, this would be good. Very all-starred cast.

Triumph in the Skies- I am currently watching it on tv. I didn't think I would like it, but I am hooked on it. Yes, there are a handful of newbies, but there is also some veterans. There are some scenes that are super cheesy, but that is the TVB way sometimes. However, there are some scenes that are very touching. Beware though, Flora does cry a lot, but since I like Flora, I didn't mind.

if you like show which are not that intense you should try out my family. its so funny and ligh-hearted! and the romance arent really that deep like the i wanna died for you or you wanna ied for me.... thats stuff is vomitting. this show is great i can tell you!
