I understand Mandarin and Cantonese but prefer to watch it in Cantonese. Seems funny when dubbed and you do get use to the actors/actress's (boy, hope I got the right grammer here?!! )voice.

If its a tvb series, then its gotta be in Cantonese. If its a china production, then mandarin. Nothing beats having the original voice (unless that person has an annoying original voice...hehe). Because Cantonese has a lot of slang and words that pretty much don't exist in Mandarin, a lot of times you can't get the full meaning/experience of a scene unless its in Canto. Besides, I'm more fluent in Canto...makes watching stuff a lot less painful for my brain!
