A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

me too!! i don't like the ones that are dubbed (sp?) in unless they are done really good like jewel in the palace.Originally Posted by fairygirlrockz

Cantonese... its better hearing the original voice
Agreed, unless it's a language that I don't know...like Korean. But I usually stick with TVB series.Originally Posted by JunBao

i used to watch in mandarin.. cos thats people in singapore dont speak canto.
but after watching VOH in canto, i stopped watching shows in mandarin.
I understand Mandarin and Cantonese but prefer to watch it in Cantonese. Seems funny when dubbed and you do get use to the actors/actress's (boy, hope I got the right grammer here?!! )voice.
If its a tvb series, then its gotta be in Cantonese. If its a china production, then mandarin. Nothing beats having the original voice (unless that person has an annoying original voice...hehe). Because Cantonese has a lot of slang and words that pretty much don't exist in Mandarin, a lot of times you can't get the full meaning/experience of a scene unless its in Canto. Besides, I'm more fluent in Canto...makes watching stuff a lot less painful for my brain!
