I watch mine in viet bcuz i am viet. Buh I sumtime watch it in chinese to try to understand what their saying bcuz Im alittle chinese too but I cant speak it and I try to learn em.

If its a tvb series, then its gotta be in Cantonese. If its a china production, then mandarin. Nothing beats having the original voice (unless that person has an annoying original voice...hehe). Because Cantonese has a lot of slang and words that pretty much don't exist in Mandarin, a lot of times you can't get the full meaning/experience of a scene unless its in Canto. Besides, I'm more fluent in Canto...makes watching stuff a lot less painful for my brain!

vietnamese dubbed, although i would prefer to watch it in canto just to hear their original voice, with subs if it was available. but more often that not, from where i get the series it's viet dubbed

Quite obvious answer to me: cantonese. I only speak canto and english, I understand basic Mandarin but that's all. Mandarin and other languages aside from canto and english seems foreign to me if the series dubbed in any other language, Mandarin still acceptable but any other languages, it just seems weird cause as someone says the meaning is not fully expressed. I'm trying to learn as much Mandarin words as possible.

I watch all tvb series in cambodian since i'm one.. but i 'm trying to learn cantonese to be able to wathc more.. i hope i ll make it....

I am a Singaporean so unless I rent or buy a TVB drama series, I can only watch the dubbed mandarin version on Starhub cable tv or free to air tv channels.I prefer to watch the shows in cantonese because I enjoy hearing the actors and actresses' real voices.
