Tears of sadness, joy, sympathy, pain whatever....?
The movie Crash did it to me in the middle of the movie with the scene involving Matt Dillon saving a victim of a car accident.

That scene in Crash really did make me tear a little. But the movie which I watched recently that made me cry was, and I'm quite ashamed to say, was King Kong ( )
"We set out to change the world... ended up just changing ourselves."
"What's wrong with that?"
"Nothing, if you don't look at the world."
I didn't cry but nevertheless it was good. Give the man a real budget and a studio to work with!Originally Posted by PJ

I thought the one where the little girl protect her father being shot was the most touching scene,it really look like a miracle until I get a laugh later onOriginally Posted by Jirehmy
Almost Love/Youth Comic - This movie is funny but a little bit sad, too. I didn't cry because of what happen to Kwon Sang Woo here but I felt sad for him.
people actually shed tears of movies?? wow..anyway, tho i dont literally produce any tears, the movies that touched my heart were,
XMen3 - the memorial, still cant believe they killed off Prof X.
2009: Lost Memories - the part where the kid got shot and the lead remembered how he killed the kid's father, okay this one not too recent...
Gladiator - the part when the princess asked if anyone would carry General Maximus' body. then the scene switched to Maximus seeing grayscaled images of his son and wife in the field, with the background music, damn it was so touching...okay, again, this is not too recent too..hehe..
So Close - When Lynn died smiling at the monitors to see that her sister Su escaped the police

For me I didn't cry but it felt like I was in thei story although I'm too young Lol but it's got to be Tristan + Isolde ... I mean poor them ...

- recent favorite drama: The Princess's Man-
just watched SO CLOSE for the nth time this weekend, and it has never failed to brinmg a lump to my troath.
How Shu Qi's character loved her sister and in her dying moments tried to get her out of the snitch sacrificing herself was really moving.
I also like Zhao Wei's transformation from a spunky girl to- well, still spunky but this time with kick your butt attitude.
The movie was beautiful and how the characters convey different emotions are great. ( for lack of words, he he he )
I didn't really like So Close, and I never cry for movies, but the scene with Shu Qi's boyfriend waiting for her was a bit philosophical and made me sad. The quote went something like "The worst thing is waiting for someone who will never come."

The last movie I shed tears while watching was Be with you (Ima, ai ni yukimasu). I love how the show tie up all everything in the end, and the title of the movie was so apt - indeed the theme that revolves around the whole movie was to be with somebody.
Not shedding any tears, but was quite saddening.

Same here. That scene was freaking amazing, all sorts of emotions went through me. I never took Matt Dillon seriously but my opinion has completely changed after this movie. I think that "Crash" is an underrated movie even after Oscar win.Originally Posted by Jirehmy

Ditto here on All About Ah Long, but I watched that awhile ago.
Most recently and ironically based on the film title, I'd say Xing Fu Shi Guang starring Zhao Ben Shan and Dong Jie.
