Episode 31 - Sin Hang is suddenly kidnapped

Hang indicates that Tung has a lot of gambling debts and warns Boon to be careful. At this time, they find out that Tung has once again been using Ding Fung's containers to transport his personal items and they suspect he is going back to his old ways of drug trafficking. The two hurry to the container port and find that the item is a motorbike which Tung has ordered to give to Sin Hang as a present. Tung makes a fuss over the incident and threatens to leave Ding Fung, when Sin Hang hears about this, his hatred towards Boon deepens.

Nam is dealing with the documents of burial site sales and finds that Boon has bought a burial ground for a couple with the surname Chung, she later finds out that this couple is Hong's parents and asks Boon about this, Boon admits that he is Hong's real brother and Nam is shocked. Sin Hang is playing opposition during a meeting, drawing pictures and leaving bang on time, Boon is helpless. Sin Hang takes Yee and Yan to the beach to play and Yee kisses Sin Hang, making Yan laugh at them "playing kissing". Yee explains to her about dating, but Yan still doesn't understand. Kai arrives at the beach to do voluntary work, picking up litter and Yan says she wants to help him and nearly falls over, Kai rushes to hold her and Yan feels quite strange. That night, Yan begs Boon to teach her to make a lunchbox for someone.

In the directors meeting, Sin Hang strongly objects to the investment into Ding Fung Gold and Boon feels that the other directors are swayed by him and storms ahead alone as the principal shareholder, Sin Hang is irate. Boon sees Yan and Kai together sharing the lunch box and realises that her "someone" is Kai, when he hears that Kai is working hard to learn more skills, he feels reassured. Man hears about the rumour that Boon is not Bong's real son and suggests to employ a private investigator to find out the truth. Bo feels uncomfortable and asks for information from Hang. Hang says that he thinks someone is wanting to affect the morale within Ding Fung by spreading rumours. Sin Hang is picking up his car from the parking lot when suddenly he is covered with a sack and bundled into a van.

Episode 32 - Boon falls in to Tung's trap

Hang suspects that it is Tung who has suggested to Bo that Boon is not Bong's real son, Boon thinks they have not heard the last of this. Boon receives a ransom note for $30 million and everyone is horrified, Boon wants to contact the police but is stopped by Bo and Hang who are worried they will kill the victim. Yee finds out that Sin Hang has been kidnapped and goes to Hong for help. Hong calls out Boon and persuades him that to co-operate is the only way to catch the kidnappers. When Tung sees the two together, his expression changes.

When Boon is preparing the ransom funds, the kidnapper calls and shouts about them contacting the police, saying they will Kill Sin Hang, making Bo very frightened and instructs for Tung to hand over the ransom. When Tung leaves, Man arrives and points out that the private detective has found out that Boon and Hong are true brothers, Bo is shocked. The kidnappers find that apart from the top layer, the rest of the money is all blank paper, as Sin Hang fights with his kidnappers he falls into the sea. Tung returns injured, saying that Sin Hang has fallen in the sea and has gone missing, just as Bo is ready to ask the police for help, Sin Hnag returns home soaking wet and throws a punch at Boon as soon as he sees him, then he distraughtly questions why Boon would not rescue him - calling the police and using fake money for the ransom, Bo lets out the truth that Boon is not originally a Ding family member and Sin Hang is horrified. Tung and Man immediately add their damning comments, saying that Boon intentionally didn't want to help Sin Hang and wanted to take all the family fortune for himself, Boon can say nothing to defend himself.

Boon goes to play basketball to let out his frustrations and sighs at falling into Tung's "Two Birds with One Stone" trap, but he resolves to complete Bong's dying wish to develop Ding Fung's pure gold business and is supported by Hang, Jik has no more to say. Sin Hang goes for a drive to take his mind off things and Yee is very pleased to see him and tells him that she is in love with him, Sin Hang is moved. The next morning, Hong sees Sin Hang taking Yee home and warns him to stay away from Yee, Sin Hang is annoyed by this and tells Hong the truth that Boon is his true elder brother, Hong is stunned.

Hey folks! You are welcome...
The show is ok - not worthy of the hype, but some nice moments from Deric, Michelle and Jessica. Gallen's character is sickeningly boring and pathetic which is kinda annoying (like I said before), but I think I can live with that. Watch out for Ngai Wai as the cheeky lawyer, Jack - I think he really suits this character!!

Episode 33 - Sin Hang accuses Boon of altering the will

Good and Evil cannot co-exist - how can he be my true brother?

Hong interrogates Kuk and Kuk does not deny that Boon is his true brother. Nam arrives to comfort him, but Hong says that their worlds are totally different and he cannot accept so suddenly that he has such a brother. Boon asks about Hong's reaction to the news and Nam says that he is very mixed up, she encourages Boon to touch him with his sincerity. Boon thinks that Tung will use this chance to fight over his father's estate and worries that Bong's dying wish will never be achieved. Hang says that the loan has been approved and they can start the Ding Fung Gold project, Boon is delighted.

Chicken Rib once again pushes Tung into joining the money laundering scam, Tung says that they will start as soon as he has got rid of Boon. Tung suspects there is a problem with Bong's will, saying that ten years ago the will which he left was to split the estate evenly, Bo cannot believe that Boon would change the will, but Sin Hang and Tung insist on having it checked through by a solicitor. Sin Hang and Tung's lawyer Kong takes the case up with Lawyer Hui that the second will may be a fake and they cannot rule out legal action, Hui and Nam are shocked.

Nam creates opportunities for Hong and Boon to meet each other, but Hong's reaction is cool. Nam points out that to fight over the estate in court would not be of any benefit to anyone, Boon thinks that that his is Tung who is co-ercing Sin Hang into fighting for the fortunes, Hong says that Boon's way of life is "idiotic". Kuk and Yuk try to push Boon's good points, and suggest that he moves in so that the family is together, Hong is unhappy at this. Kong says that he will be applying for annulment of the will and reinstation of the original will, Bo tries to convince Boon into accepting the first will to keep everyone happy, but Boon refuses. When questioned by reporters over the struggle for the estate, Sin Hang indicates he will fight to the end. Yan suddenly disappears, Bo is worried that she has been kidnapped again. Kai is surprised to find Yan and she sobs as she tells him the reason why she does not want to go home, when she sees that Kai is secretly calling Boon, she loses her temper and storms away, nearly getting knocked over by a car, luckily Boon arrives just in time.

Episode 34 - Boon and Hong are reconciled

The more you try to grasp it the harder it becomes, let go and just follow your own path, Ivan.

Boon is disappointed that all his life he has thought for the Ding family and has even given up his love for them but is now considered as an outcast. Nam points out that his life is his own and not anyone else's, persuading him to let go and follow his own path, Boon has his own decision. Jik and Hang find out that Boon wants to resign and hurry to see him, Boon asks Hang to stay on and look after Sin Hang and Bo. Boon hands his resignation to Bo and Sin Hang and says he will hand over his share of the estate and has no problems with reinstating the old will, Sin Hang coldly says that this is the way it should have been all the time, Boon forces a laugh. When Yan finds out that Boon is to move out, she clings on to him in tears.

Boon longingly looks back at the mansion and turns to find to his surprise that Hong is behind him, Hong says that he has come to escort him back to the Chung family and calls him "Big Brother", Boon is touched immensely. The Chung family all welcome Boon into their home and Boon says that the best thing for him is that Hong finally accepts him. Sin Hang takes over as company president and announces that he wants to launch the investment company and let Tung take care of it. Hang has been sent over to the retail outlet and is unhappy at this, angrily throwing darts to express his feelings and saying he wants to leave, Boon comforts him saying that he cannot be without his spy, Jik asks him to bear it for the greater good.

Hong invites Nam to his home for a steamboat but is worried that she will be awkward when she sees Boon, Nam says that they will still be friends if they were to meet again. Boon also makes it clear to Hong that Nam has been promoted to the role of 'Good Friend' and praises him for being able to put Nam as his first priority, which is something he himself cannot do. Boon brings out his secret formula soy sauce and everyone savours it, Boon indicates he wants to produce a line of sauces and promote it on the market, Nam encourages him to invest in the food business whilst Kuk invites him to write a food and drink column in his magazine. Yu sees that Boon takes Nam home and is deep in conversation and she is secretly worried that they will reignite their feelings for each other. Boon finds out from Kai that Yan is ill and takes some kissing fish to go and visit her and asks her to forgive Kai, saying that the disagreement between himself and Sin Hang is nothing to do with Kai, Yan understands.

Episode 35 - Wan Hang finds love in his later years

Boon says that the kissing fish are a present from Kai and tells Yan to apologise to him. Hor Sir indicates that the East Kowloon teams have a Superintendant position empty and he will be putting Hong forward for the position, Hong is overjoyed. His colleagues celebrate that his career and his love life are taking off, Yu suggests that he should get married soon. Leung says that Yu is overly concerned about Hong, Yu admits that to love a person means you have to let him be happy. Boon makes clear that he knows that Yee and Sin Hang are genuinely in love and will not oppose this, Yee is delighted. As he eats, Hong smiles sweetly, saying that if he is successful with his promotion he will propose to Nam, Boon's heart feels uncomfortable, but wishes his brother well.

Kai accidentally knocks over the cake that Yan has brought him, when Yan sees the situation she angrily leaves. Kai takes her kissing fish to try and console her and invites her to go and enjoy the sunshine. The two are in the park naming their fish when Yan accidentally knocks over the fish bowl. Kai quickly rescues them and is successful, Yan is thankful and kisses him, then they both feel strange about each other. Yan evades Kai making Kai rather confused.

Sin Hang is troubled over his cashflow, Tung suggests that they apply for a delay to their accounts with the gold suppliers, but they have no leeway with the second instalment to their supplier in Australia. Yan suggests that they contact Boon for help, but Sin Hang immediately announces that he will not seek help from external people. Bo suggests that she can ask Hang to help out, Sin Hang can only let her try. Bo asks Hang for his opinions on why the investment company is losing money and how it can be rectified, Hang suggests that at the end of the month there should be some profit. Bo asks of Hang to look after Sin Hang and praises him for his patience to listen to her moaning and for helping her cross the road, Hang is moved. Hang indicates that a widow has fallen in love with him, Lin encourages him to take the opportunity and not to worry about it too much. Jik pressures Hang by asking who the woman is and also mocks him, making Hang very frustrated. Whilst waiting for dinner, Hang falls asleep and dreams about him dancing with Bo - he wakes up with fright!

Episode 36 - Yan develops "Heart Disease"

Boon finds out from Hang that Sin Hang has cashflow problems and decides what he must do. Boon contacts the Australian Association and requests that they hold back the demand for the second payment for two months with himself paying the interest incurred during this time, Nam sees him putting his own money into protecting Ding Fung and Sin Hang and shakes her head in despair. Hong takes Boon to a tea shop to drink tea and admits that after being reunited with Boon again he has been very happy and he no longer must bear the pressure of continuing the family line on his own. Sin Hang is puzzled why the investment company is losing so much money and instructs Tung to pull back and even out the profits immediately. Yee questions Sin Hang why he has not been seeing her and saying he is busy, Sin Hang vows that he is genuine to her and Yee feels better. Tung cannot understand why Sin Hang wants to sell gold and realise assets, Man pushes him to use the money to buy in some shares.

Hang sees that Bo has bought his favourite egg rolls and suddenly announces he wants to resign and start his own business so that he can be on a par with the woman who has fallen in love with him, Bo is shocked. Bo goes to Lin's house and finds out that the woman who has fallen in love with Hang is herself, clarifies that she just sees him as a very good friend, Lin and Yui laugh at his foolishness, Hang is not amused. Nam asks Yan why she is so unhappy, Yan says she has developed "heart disease" because every time she sees Kai she feels her heart beating faster, Nam realises that Yan has fallen in love with Kai. Because of something that Yu said, Nam decides to make some home made soup for Hong, at the market she meets Boon and he teaches her how to make Pig Lung soup.

Hong asks Nam to go to the holiday home to spend some time alone and prepare a candle lit dinner and he dreams about getting close to Nam. After dinner, they are quite tipsy and start to dance, when Hong asks her if they can develop their relationship further, Nam suddenly develops stomach cramps. The next day, Hong asks about Nam's condition, Yu says that there is a motive to his thoughts which made Nam nervous and therefore gave her stomach cramps, Hong says this is a natural reaction. Boon acts as mediator between Yan and Kai as the two overcome their differences.

Episode 37 - Sin Hang robs Ding Fung

The price of gold falls and Sin Hang excitedly praises Hang's predictions, Tung's disappointment is painful and can only try to convince Sin Hang into investing more to make more profits. Kai escorts Yan home and they reveal their feelings to each other, Kai wants to give Yan a kiss but Bo arrives home and calls a stop to this. Yan admits that she likes Kai, Bo is horrified and instructs Sin Hang to sack him, Yan cries that she is being unreasonable. Bo increases Kai's salary in an attempt to coerce him into concentrating on his job and to take a step back otherwise she will sack him. Yan runs away from home to go and find Boon, Boon takes her to go and see Kai, Kai scolds her for running away, saying that the reason why Bo is against them being together is because he is not good enough for Yan and she is afraid he will not be able to look after Yan, he says he will gradually change her impression of him, Boon agrees when he hears this. Bo is pleased to see Yan return home and the mother and daughter overcome their differences. Bo finds that Sin Hang is dating Yee and asks whether he is bothered by Yee being Hong's cousin, Sin Hang says that he is only concerned with whether Yee loves him. Tung is troubled about how to make up the deficit in the funds, just at this time the 911 incident occurs in America and he breathes a sigh of relief. The gold prices rise quickly and Sin Hang loses a lot of money, he regrets not listening to Hang's advice to sell stock. Tung persuades him to cooperate with Chicken Rib to rob the jewellery store to recoup the funds and avoid being found out by the directors, Sin Hang refuses. Yee finds that Sin Hang is very troubled and works hard to comfort him, telling him that she will do anything to make him happy. Hong sees that Yee is still seeing Sin Hang and is not happy. Tung sees that Sin Hang is undecided about what to do and tells him to go to Boon for help in an attempt to trigger his reaction, Sin Hang is not prepared to let Boon see him fail and agrees to Tung's plan. Sin Hang goes to the store to prepare an inside job but is afraid when Hong appears to warn him not to hang around Yee, just at this time the robbers appear. When Sin Hang is held hostage by the robbers, he calls out to the policeman for help, the robbers realise Hong's identity and he is knocked out.

Episode 38 - Hong's proposal leads to a split

Hong listens to the evidence given by Sin Hang and Hang and thinks about the incident of the robbery and seems to remember something. Boon and Kuk hear that Ding Fung has been robbed and that Hong is injured and are shocked and horrified, they head to the Ding family home to check it out. Hong indicates that this robbery was not done by outsiders and suspects that Sin Hang planned to rob his own store. Boon asks about Bo, Bo says that she is thankful to Kai for helping her and getting injured in the process, saying she feels that he is an honest person and will not pick on Yan. When Boon asks about Ding Fung's losses in the robbery, Sin Hang says that he does not need help from external people, Boon is upset by this. Sin Hang is worried that Hong's appearance will cause problems and is troubled by the second instalment to the Australian Association, Tung pushes him to co-operate again with Chicken Rib but Sin Hang refuses. Nga sees that something has come between Hong and Nam, Nam admits that she doesn't know whether she was right to choose Hong, Nga says that she will only know after she has tried, and that Hong is a simple person who puts her in first priority and persuades her to grab hold of the opportunity, Nam is moved. Yu says the opportunity has arisen and tells Hong to propose to Nam. Hong asks Nam out for a candlelit dinner and then to meet the family again, Nam unwillingly agrees. Boon finds out that Hong wants to propose to Nam and feels bad. Hong's car breaks down and Boon takes him for his date, on the way they meet with a traffic accident and the two rush forward to help rescue people. Nam arrives at the accident scene and when she can only see the burning flames, she is only worried about Boon. At the restaurant, Hong proposes to Nam and she refuses. Yu sees the disheartened Hong outside the restaurant, Hong says that not only has he failed in his proposal they have also split up, Yu is shocked. Nam admits to Yu that the one she loves is Boon, Yu scolds her saying that she shouldn't let go of a good man like Hong, Nam realises that Yu has been in love with Hong all along and she feels guilty. Kuk and the family return home to see an upset and jittery Hong and are very concerned.

Episode 39 - Nam's most beloved is Boon

Hong hounds Yu for the reason why he failed, Yu sighs that she can't help him. Leung and his colleagues point out that there are too many coincidences in the robbery at Ding Fung and suspect that there is another story. Hong suggests that Sin Hang has arranged to rob his own store, Boon is taken aback whilst Yee says that Hong is wrongly accusing Sin Hang, Hong points out that if their mole had not mysteriously disappeared then they would already have arrested him. Yee goes to question Sin Hang, he suggests that they split up so that her cousin will stop plotting against him to split them up, Yee says she would rather fall out with Hong than for her to split with Sin Hang. Boon directly asks Sin Hang whether he robbed the jewellery store and sees that he thinks a while before denying it, he feels pain in his heart. Boon decides to return to Ding Fung and and asks Hang to steal the real accounts book. Sin Hang worries that the turnover of Ding Fung cannot reach the standards set by the overseeing funds, allowing Boon to snatch back the shares which he has passed over, Tung says that figures can be forged. Nam uses busy as an excuse to refuse Hong's invitation to dinner, but Hong insists on waiting at the restaurant until she appears. Nam calls Yu to help her out, saying that she does not want to give the impression to Hong that he is still in with a hope. Yu persuades Hong to stop wasting time on Nam, Hong points out that he is totally committed and serious about her and will do anything for her, but she just keeps running further and further away. Nam knows that she has hurt Hong badly, telling Yu that the time she has been with Boon has been more sadness than happiness, but she fell in love with him first and cannot turn back now and yet she does not wish to return to his side. Yu calls out Boon adn tells him that Nam is still in love with him and also says that love cannot be forced or transferred, Boon says that he cannot hurt Hong because of his own needs. Boon goes to Nam's offices and passes over the accounts book which has been stolen by Hang, suspecting that someone has been making up the figures to adjust for the payment to the overseeing funds, asking Nam to investigate this and saying that if this is true, he will return to Ding Fung to once again take charge of everything. Hong disheartedly says that he doesn't know how he failed, but he can't let go of her because he still misses her, Boon feels sorry for him.

Episode 40 - Boon is charged with murdering a witness

Kuk is horrified to hear that Boon wants to return to Ding Fung, Boon says that he cannot let Ding Fung go down nor Sin Hang get deeper and deeper into trouble, Kuk can't do anything. Hang and Jik persuade Boon to take Nam and run away and spend their own lives together, but Boon insists that he cannot hurt Hong. When Boon sees Hong he stops talking without changing his mind, he reassures them that he will not do anything illegal, Hong can only warn him that if he does commit a crime in the future, he will not hesitate about arresting him. Boon and Hang suddenly appear at the directors meeting and put an end to it as the principal shareholder. Boon says that Ding Fung's accounts have been forged and he has the right to cancel the overseeing funds, Bo is shocked, Sin Hang silently admits it, brushes it off and walks away. Boon tells Tung he no longer needs to come to work and announces to the directors that he will resume his position as CEO of Ding Fung and freeze the Investment Company. Boon is not happy with being kicked out of Ding Fung by Boon and plans to use Sin Hang to rebel against him, Man asks about his idea. Sin Hang and Tung meet the kidnapper Little Dog in the car park and Sin Hang learns from him that the mastermind of the kidnapping was Boon and it comes as a great shock. Tung uses the opportunity to convince him to rob the jewellers again to make Ding Fung fail even more, he also says that Boon is deeply cunning and you cannot directly oppose him, Sin Hang has his own opinions. Tung is blackmailed in Ding Fung's car park by Little Dog and as the two fight, Tung kills Little Dog. When Boon finishes work, he gets his car to go for a drive to take his mind off things, on his way he receives a call from Yan, asking where she can go with Kai, Boon laughs. Hong receives an anonymous call saying that Boon has murdered someone and hidden the weapon in the boot (trunk) of his car, at this time Yu calls in to report the finding of a male body at Ding Fung. Hong does find a blade in the back of Boon's car and arrests Boon for questioning, holding him at the local police station. Boon insists he has not murdered the victim but he does not have an alibi, coupled with Sin Hang arriving to accuse Boon of instructing the kidnapping and the kidnapper was Little Dog, Hor Sir says that they have sufficient evidence to charge Boon. Hong is troubled about Boon's case, but Yu points out there are a lot of suspicious points. Yu accidentally leaks that Boon is being charged with murder and when Nam hears this she is shocked.

Kuk finds out from the papers that Boon has been charged with murder, Hong says that because of Sin Hang's accusation he has not been allowed bail, when Yee hears this, she is very muddled. Sin Hang is not happy that Yee also suspects him of framing Boon, he says that she does not understand that when he found out it was Boon who plotted to kidnap him how painful it was for him, Yee hugs him and says that she will believe him. Jik reckins that the police evidence is insufficient and their most important statement is from Sin Hang, so they should work on his prejudices against Boon, Nam suggests that they reveal the incident with the false accounts by Sin Hang, Boon objects to attacking Sin Hang's reputation and says they are only allowed to work on the weaknesses in the evidence otherwise he will change his lawyer. Nam goes to the prosecution to catch up on their news, Lun says that he will not fall for Boon's trickery again, Nam's heart sinks. Hong asks about progress, Nam says he is a prosecution witness and therefore to talk about it would compromise the case, Hong asks if she will get back together with Boon, Nam is silent. Hong seeks news from Yu, saying that he can tell the answer from how Nam is more concerned with Boon than with himself, Yu suggest that he accepts it and gives them his blessing. Nam finds out that during the incident, Boon was talking to Yan for over half an hour and asks Bo to let Yan be a witness but Bo refuses bluntly. In court, when Hong and Boon are giving evidence, Jik says that by not wanting to compromise his position, Hong has fallen into the trap laid by the real murderer, he also points out that Sin Hang's hatred of Boon has caused him to accuse him wrongly, everyone calls out. During the recess, Jik says his chances of winning aren't high, Nam suggests finding Yan to give evidence, Boon objects, at this time Yan arrives saying that she wants to give evidence. What are everyone's predictions for the ending of GF. Em, what are your predictions?
I'm hoping that Ivan and Rachel get back together, that they go to Australia to start a new life. Also that Hong finally realises Rain loves him and that Oscar and Ivan make up. It just frustrates me that Oscar seems to have forgotten what a good brother Ivan has always been to him and that he has fallen for the tricks of his uncle.

In ep 42, Oscar has been deserted by everyone because he accused ah Poon of kidnapping him. Also Kiko abandonned him, because he was saying bad things about her in front of Hong (Oscar was trying to get Hong angry).

Kiko is pregnant of Oscar, but she told him that she'd already gotten an abortus, making Oscar even madder at Ah Poon (he blames Poon for everything).

His uncle has already been kicked out of Ding Fung by Poon and told Oscar that Poon will probably telling all lies about him cheating money. (of course, he really DID cheated money from Ding Fung)
And he tells Oscar: if Poon does that, Oscar must pretend to believe Poon and act as if they were good brothers again. So that he can strikes back when they least expect it.

Oscar believed his uncle, and when Poon showed him the true evidence of his uncle cheating money with the investment company, Oscar acted (badly) liked he believed Poon and made up with everyone.


Oh and Rachel has already left to australia.

My predictions for the ending would be:

The plot of the evil uncle and oscar trying to get the 9999-gold is gonna fail. The criminals are captured and they all turn against that uncle telling Oscar the truth.

That evil uncle will pay. His wife would probably take all his money away. He kills his wife, and is being chased by the police. Having lost his future already, he tries to kill Poon and the rest of Ding family. Probably at the 9999-celebration. Gets killed by Hong or Poon.
Poon gets hurt protecting the Ding family or Hong and went in coma.
Hong probably gets hurts too, but not severely.

Oscar feels bad and goes to jail. Kiko forgives him. Years later when he is free, he start over again with Kiko and his son.

Rain took care of Hong while he was injured and they developped a romance.

Rachel had come back to HK to look for Poon, but when she's there, Poon's bed is already empty. Everyone's telling her that Poon had died. Feeling sad she leave for Australia again. When she arrives at her home, she sees a helicopter in the yard and that special bread in the kitchen. Looks around and sees someone standing there (we don't see who it is).
Zoom-in at rachel's face, we see her smiling and tears rolling down her face.

if we want an 100% good ending. Moon is gonna meet that police guy who had a crush on Rain. They will get together.

Yan Yan married with Kai Kai and they opened a aquariumstore called TuutTuut-fish where all metally handicapped people can work.

Oscar's mum and Henry won't get married or something, but they will be very good friends.
