I love this series. Got so hopelessly addicted to Shin. I wish they would give us a clue on what to expect for Season 2. I hope it will a good one.

Yep. I wish they could be equally fast for other dramas and give us quality ones too.

Why didn't they wrap it all up in the first season, rather than choose to have a second season? Hopefully they maintain the standard and have a brisk, well-paced, plot.

I agree with you that I wish they can be fast for all other dramas too, we are always lagging even behind Malaysia and other South East Asian countries

But is it true that it's starting on 22 June 2006? Cause I checked the Channel U TV guide and at 10 PM, it's going to be Armed Reaction IV (TVB drama)

I think MBC wants to grab the most out of the popularity of the drama, it could have just gone for 20 episodes, but they extended to 24 and now a Season 2

but isn't that how it is suppose to be in Goong. from what i know, they didn't plan on second one. but when they saw that the ratings for it is very high, so they decided to film Goong 2.

A question for Goong fans in S'pore:

where did you buy your this title? I got mine, DVD version, from someone on the Internet who directly imported from Hkg.

But I am not happy with this version, there was a defective disc (no. 5), there was no proper ending in disc 6, the kissing part was missing!!

    anyone has this problem??

I actually live in US. I bought my DVD version also with Audio: Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean with Subtile: Chinese, Korean, English. I believe it 10 discs in total, all the discs are fine but the last disc I have a little bit problem when I watched it with Cantonese audio, you can hear korean and cantonese audio together and the action of the character slow than what they talk, but if I watch with Korean audio everything excellent isn't it weird?!

That's probably not a very good reason to make a second season. I'd be happy if they just had a single season but gave us a satisfyingly plausible ending.

Ugh Shin is like a porcupine or hedgehog that's difficult to get close to.

lol. he does look like a porcupine with that hair. i'm happy that season II is coming out becuase i'm really looking forward to what happen to shin and CG. anybody seen her in "The Legend of Seven Cutter"? that was pretty good. she acts just like a tough gilrl but that guy is so ugly. still, it's very funny.

I don't think I have a kissing scene in that disc either. Which episode is that? Got it from a friend who bought the drama from Yahoo Auctions.

The thing about tv is the number of commercials they will show because Goong is a highly-rated drama. It's really disruptive.

Btw, in this century, I'm amazed the people in the palace can still naively believe a female can become impregnated once she sleeps with a male. Gee!

So much for the excitement! Mediacorp never really changes its ways. All its TVB dramas seem to be shown after it airs on cable.
