hi! I've just finished watching this series and i loved it. I heard that there is supposed to be a part 2 and can't wait for it to come out. I'm hoping to see more of Yul and that he'll find his love. I hope that they will welcome him back into the palace but now his mom cause she was just a bit too evil. I don't understand how they had the baby at the end. it kept me wondering when did they consummate their wedding. i thought it might have been before they took him away and before she left when they finally made up at the end.

Nope they didn't consummate or rather did not have baby... If you have watch the special 1.5, YEH did explain about the ending incident that she vomit......

It's a special show with most of the cast sharing their experiences when filming Goong. You can search at youtube under [Goong 1.5 subbed], though the subs aren't not good unless you understand Korean.

I wouldn't be surprised about this matter.

As much as I love to have a sequel of Goong and have a continuation of it, sometimes the sequels don't live up to the prequel (i.e. HZGG3).

I'm curious about who the new cast is. Let's try not to compare the new cast to the original cast. Treat it as a new drama and story.

True. Sometimes, even with the original cast, the sequel may not be comparatively better.

I also believe we shouldn't compare now that the cast and the plot is brand new. There's just no basis of the comparison (other than the title perhaps?)

Source : Director's mouth. The director was fearful of a possible public backlash because of this plot and cast changes.

That's quite disappointing... I was looking forward to seeing Shin and Chaegyung again, to see if the director would clarify whether or not Chaegyung was pregnant, and whether her friends would get together...

But if this new plot is confirmed, I would look forward to it as well... hopefully it would be as funny and sweet as Goong...

hmmm...from my own pt of view..i think the actors n actresses in 'Goong' did well..will the new cast in 'Goong 2' be able to match up to the original cast??and will the standard of performance set by the original cast put stress on the new ones??
