Actually, I'm kind of disappointed that YEH and JJH are not coming back - I'd feel kind of lost...

Anyways, I guess it's true that you can't continue their storyline anymore - I really don't want them to suffer anymore. However, I feel like the ending to goong 1 is incomplete then - because in goong 1.5 she said she "ate something bad" (which is an obvious lie, if she's acting as CG and not answering as her real self) instead of being pregnant. And the montage at the end of pictures wasn't really sufficient for me; even the picture of her and shin and the child, because that picture was just a clip from one of the previous episodes where she's imagining being the mother of the future king or something...so that's like, reusing a shot, and so it's not believable for me. I hope they at least tie it up in goong 2 and mention them in passing AT LEAST. I mean, I just saw Goong 1.5 and both YEH and JJH agreed they would want to be on Goong again.

But the storyline is pretty interesting - a male this time entering the palace to be the future king. It's like, taking Korean history and mixing it a bit with Queen Elizabeth I and..yeah, pretty cool. I'd like to see a guy be the bumbling one for once, instead of always having the girl be the clumsy one...

Goong 1.5 is not the next season.It's just a special they did about the drama. It had the cast of Goong there and they just talked about the drama. They show some NG's and how the producer went about chosing the main cast.You can say that this tv special show all the behind the scenes of Goong.

i just finished this show yesterday and i was so happy to see the ending!!! It was soooooooo good!!! i wonder if the Goong 2 is going to be as good as the first one. They say its about the crowned prince's long lost cousin who comes back or something. but just now, the first one is really great!

Singer to actor transformation is very rampant these days.

Last September 28, news circulated of top singer Se7en being rumored as a lead in "Palace 2". A lot of interest are focused on whether Se7en will actually venture into acting.

Some singers who have gone to acting are Kim Dongwan, Rain, Shinhwa's Eric, Fin K.L.'s Sung Yuri, Chakra's Jeong Ryeo Won and Baby V.O.X.'s Yoon Eun Hye.

The list goes on with Shinwha's Andy, Junjin and Minwoo, Fin K.L.'s Lee Hyo-ri and Lee Jin, Baby V.O.X.'s Kim Lee Ji and Shim Eun Jin, JEWELRY's Park Jung Ah, Fly to the Sky's Fany, S#arp's Seo Ji Hye and H.O.T.'s KangTa.

The reason why singers transform into actors because of its win-win strategy. They present new faces in the drama department. Since the music industry is in a depression, they venture into acting. They get to experience success in both fields. However, a singer's popularity is not a guarantee that he will make it big in the drama department as well.

And not like before when singers are only into singing and dancing, new generation singers are all-around artists.

BoA going into acting is already attracting a lot of attention. Se7en's unofficial entry in the acting world as well as other singers' plans to become actors are definitely creating a big hype in the entertainment world.

Just watched 1.5, it was so sweet and funny? wonder if cg and shin is together in real life? that would be cute. didn't see yul on the show though, 1 setback.

i just finished watching Goong and i was very surprised that i actually enjoyed it. I was kinda confused with the Crowned Princess' feelings. At one point, did she admitted that she has feeling for YUL when the elders asked her. Or maybe she was just doing that to protect him cuz he's her very good friend?

The ending was good but still i do have questions...So is the prince going to stay back in Macau w/ CG after they are officially married. Is CG really pregnant? When did they actually had intimacy? I thought maybe some of unanswered questions will be answer in Goong II but guess not now. I'm disappointed because I was hoping to see two main characters again. Boohoo.

Overall, i really enjoyed this production. I have to add that "oh boy" the two main characters really " GET Into it" when they kissed. Love it.

rumors about se7en starring in goong 2 is not true....the staff of goong is still deciding who wil be the casts...

i feel sad because the original casts will not be in the second season... >sighs<

Just started a marathon watching for this series. I'm stayed up till 4.30am and only managed to watch till epi 17. Hahaha....

My current fav character is Prince Yul. His words are so touching... I prefer this prince

Haha I thought 1.5 was okay coz YEH was more on the reserved side while JJH was kinda cute & funny! Oh ya, YEH rumoured beau supposely to be Kim Jong Kook... no chance of CG & Shin in real life yet!

YG has confirmed that Se7en will be starring in "Goong 2", although they havent stamped the contracts but it should all be going ahead.

Hwang PD states that Se7en possesses acting ability which is more than enough and is satisfied with casting se7en.

Many have been wondering how Se7en will cope with the upcoming release of his 4th album and they intend to film during the weekdays and he will only be participating on gayo programs on the weekends.

YG states that although they have planned for him to release a single in Japan, an album in china and other overseas activities, first of all they want to film this drama.

Goong 2 will be about a prince who does not know he possesses royal blood, working at a chinese restaurant and who will enter the palace.

Because of YG's 10th anniversary concert, Se7en has left for the US and will return to Korea on the 27th, when he will join the rest of the cast (all 4 ppl have been decided) to the reading of the script. Filming will start on the 1st of november and the series will be shown January 2007.


Oh well, it is confirm that se7en is acting in Goong 2... no high expectation for it though since I like Princess Hours alot, don't think part 2 can be better than part unless the plot is good. Anway shall give it a try when it release next year...

Maybe. Right now even he's sweet to Chaegyung, he still feels like an arse to me compared to Yul.

I hope Yul have a good ending. Don't spoil it yet, I'll watch later
