Just because you like the old cast, doesn't mean you have to hate or not like the new one. They work hard to entertain us, so give them a fighting chance to win us over.

AND Just because you read the synopsis or summary of their character profile and didn't think it was that special, doesn't mean the first script is better than this new one. I just don't like how people already judge something that has yet to be seen. It's just not fair. Because you seriously can not say the original script is better than this new one. You haven't even watched it, so this summary of character profile may not do this Goong 2 justice.

We can't say anything until we've watched Goong 2 (entirely).

I said it again and again, stop making comparisons with 1 and 2. They may have the same theme of Princesses and Princes but they're two separate stories! Stop making comparison, its just so unfair for either stories!
hmmm..quite true..thats y i say we gotta watch the series 1st b4 we comment anymore..

btw..isnt this case somewhat similar to that of Huan Zhu Ge Ge?

AHH!!! I'm totally crazy over this GREAT, FANTASTIC series. It's so nicee and romantic. Almost the whole school is talking about it now. I can't wait for 7pm every weekday to watch this drama and had to go borrow from my cousin. I've just finished watching it and it's definitely one of the best shows I've ever watched!

By the way, does anyone have the soundtrack? The songs are great!!

Since you love the drama and the OST, why not just buy the OST from stores in Singapore. Saw it at so many shops, can also try HMV

i must say, regarding the plot of Goong 2, i'm confused - is park shin hye's character betrothed to the future emperor? and how? or does she just want to marry a prince, thinking that it's the other guy? it's like the gender roles switched for this drama. although i'm curious how the girl playing the sister could be the female lead...i mean, usually the female leads are the love interest, and the sister isn't the love interest....right?

i'm slightly excited, but kind of apprehensive as well. i hope they do a real good original job with it, and treat it as an "original" drama rather than a sequel - then hopefully it won't be gimmicky

someone in this forum (i think) once said they were wondering what happened to shin and chaegyung at the end - did he stay in macao with her after they got married "for real" and whatnot...and this led me thinking - what if the prince in question for goong 2 is their son! or grandson! (since what if shin and chaegyung led normal, non-royal lives)

hahaha- i don't know why it seemed like a good idea, but it's sort of like a continuation of the monarchy story, or maybe it'll be like a totally separate story, as in pretend that goong 1 never happened and we're in an alternate universe where shin and yul weren't battling for the crown or something...?

hmm, didn't think of that since shin did give up the throne. that would be pretty cool. who knows what the story line would be until it comes out.

I don't really anticipate the second one since they changed the actors.. The first cast looks better..

I agreed on this as well, but depending on whether if Prince Hours' plot is good or not, I think season 1 fans should give it a try at least. Wonder if the director have any explanation on Shin & CG... If the suppose current Queen is still Shin's elder sis, then Se7en's character will be her distance cousin?

I really enjoyed this serie. Is it me or the Korean lead actress looks almost exactly like Li Qian (in Twin of Brother) minus the mole, ofcourse. The lead character reminds me a little bit of Zai Zai & Joe Cheng. They are both great as leads. I'm sad that they will not return in Goong 2. Hope to see them more in the future.
