    Episodes 1-2:

Bobby is a famous coronor who has written books that are used worldwide...

    Flashback to the past...

Bobby lives in a small village where he has been given the nickname "coffin boy" because his mom gave birth to him in a coffin right before she died. The people in the village dislike him and think that he is bad luck. Therefore, he is given the job of announcing the time at night. Everyone tries to avoid his presence.

The village mayor, in particular, treats Bobby poorly and refused to grant him the plot of land that all the "Sung" males should receive when they reach 30 years old. No one would help Bobby except his best friends Michael and "Siu Chun". The mayor disliked Bobby so much that he ordered the new resting place to be built where Bobby's mom was buried. Therefore, her grave was dug up. Bobby was really angry and went to talk to the mayor. The two ended up fighting and the mayor was trying to beat Bobby up.

Jessica is a beggar/pick-pocket. She was just about to steal the mayor's money was Bobby arrived and started arguing with the mayor. Therefore, she was forced to postpone her plans again. Jessica realized that she dropped her jade necklace (something she's probably had since birth) so went looking for it and somehow got entangled in the fight. Frankie's parents also saw the 3fighting but they didn't want trouble so they quickly left the scene.

The mayor ends up dead and Bobby and Jessica are accused of the murder. They are taken into custody by the "cops" and on the way in the building, Bobby is struck by lightning and everyone thinks that he's dead so they take him to the morgue. The man who lives and works in the morgue "Gwai Suk" saves Bobby. Michael and "Siu Chun" find out that Bobby's still alive and plan to ask the new official to further investigate the case.

Frankie returns to the village as the new government official. However, he seems to have forgotten past habits and acts queerly. (I believe that he's not the real Frankie) Frankie promises to further investigate the case. Meanwhile, at the morgue, "Gwai Suk" and Bobby have found that the mayor has a tiny hole in his foot which could have been caused by a nail. They suspect that the mayor stepped on a dirty nail and died from an infection.
The mayor's wife comes to retrieve the body before further analysis can be done on the body.

They think of a plan to scare the mayor's wife into making her let the officials open up and look at the body again. Therefore, Bobby acts like a ghost and goes to see the mayor's wife saying that he's innocent (remember that no one except Bobby's 2 friends and Frankie and his team know that Bobby's alive).

Mariane comes home to see her father. Her dad works under Frankie. She works as a "cop" also but she was recently fired for failing to capture a top criminal.

Mariane accidentally finds Bobby and ties him up and brings him to see the villagers just as Frankie was about to order more tests to be done on the mayor's body to determine the real cause of his death. The mayor's wife is very angry but Frankie insists that the coffin be opened. They find that the mayor's body has rotted already.

Bobby is placed in jail again. He and Jessica cannot be saved. In anger, Jessica tries to strangle Bobby. Bobby's friends bring him lots of food the day before he is going to die. Jessica is alone in her cell. Mariane offers her some chicken, seeing that she's so lonely. Jessica apparently has no family.

Bobby is angry at Mariane because she captured him. Mariane cooked Bobby some fish which caused Bobby's lips to bloat.

Because of this "Gwai Suk" realized that there is one more plan to save Bobby and Jessica...the fish's bones are still posioned which means the mayor's bones should also have poison...therefore they must boil the mayor's bones

    Episodes 3-4

Jessica is sad and cries because she has to die the next day also. That night, the two talk to each other and Jessica reveals that she has no family. Bobby, feeling guilty that he brought her into this mess, offers to marry her so that when his friends burn him money after he dies, she can use it too. Jessica agrees and the two get married in prison.

The mayor's wife has nightmares that night of Bobby saying that he's innocent. The next day, she rushes to the scene where Bobby and Jessica are about to be killed and stops them in time. She agrees to let them boil her husband's bones. The boiling bones technique proves that Jessica and Bobby are innocent and the two are released.

After Bobby is released from prison, he realizes that his job has been given to an oldman and it was Mariane who recommended the old man for the job. Bobby lets the old man keep the job. However, he's angry at Mariane again. Bobby decides to go and camp out at "Gwai Suk's" place (the morgue) during the day so that he can learn more.
Bobby and Jessica run into each other in the street and both run as fast as they can in the opposite direction...however, they still end up next to each other. Both did not want to be responsible for the marriage. They agreed to forget all about it.

Jessica stole Celine's money in the street. "Siu Chun" who is Celine's husband, ran after her. He caught her but she got away because he thought he gripped her too hard and Jess turned around and poked his eyes instead (the guy's a big softie).

Frankie is really nice to Bobby. His dad took over the position of village mayor so he told his dad to give Boby his rightful land. He also told the people of the village to treat Bobby nicer. Frankie had wanted to hire "Gwai Suk" as the new assistant coroner but he recommended Bobby for the position and Frankie decided to hire Bobby.

"Siu Chun" finally found Jessica. He saw the jade necklace she had on and believes that she's his long-lost sister. He takes her home and treats her like a queen...Celine doesn't like Jessica thought and the two always fight. Bobby finds out that Jessica is his friend "Siu Chun's" sister. (Bobby and Jess are now neighbors...he and Michael live next door to Siu Chun)

Mariane knew Frankie when she was little. Before she left for her job, he left her a riddle to solve...however, Frankie doesn't seem to know about the riddle. She bugs him about the answer.

Because Jess borrowed money from some people that owned a gambling place, Bobby had to give up his land to help her.
Eileen makes her appearance as the richest man in the village's daughter. Bobby is captivated by her beauty.

A girl dies in a restaurant. Bobby was there and deduces that she died from a rat bite...he's afraid there may be a rat epidemic soon...he teaches the villagers how to prevent an epidemic. Bobby is promoted to chief coroner after the other coroner quits.

Mariane's ex-boss shows up in town and Frankie finds out that she was fired. Mariane begs him not to tell and he agrees to help her.

Eileen's cousin challenges her...wants to see if Eileen can get Bobby to like her...

    Episodes 5-6

Frankie saw "Siu Chun" in the street telling the little kids the riddle that Mariane was asking him about...he figured out the answer and went and told Mariane.

Eileen finds an opportunity to get closer to Bobby. Since Bobby already liked her the first time he saw her, he was very happy that Eileen liked him. Eileen told him that if he would quit his job as associate coroner, her dad would consider his proposal.

Bobby went to quit his job...his friends urged him not to. Bobby went to ask for Eileen's hand in marriage during a village activity. Eileen ridiculed him in public and said that she'd never fall for a good-for-nothing guy like him. Eileen went off with her cousin and maid. Her maid forgot something and had to go back for it--a man dressed in black killed her cousin and kidnapped Eileen.

Frankie rehired Bobby and he went to the scene of the crime to investigate the body of Eileen's cousin. After an initial wrong guess, Bobby found out that the murderer probably knew kung fu, judging from the deepness and cleanness of the cut. Eileen's maid was told by the kidnapper to send the body--she was killed. Bobby went back to investigate the cousin's body...He found a footprint on the clothing of Eileen's cousin's body and it had a unique sort of dust on it so Bobby figured out where Eileen was being held. Frankie sent his men there and found Mariane, but the murderer got away.

Frankie decides to hire Mariane so that she can stay without having to lie to her father. Frankie told Mariane that he likes her and Mariane accepts him. Eileen is also beginning to like Frankie.

Jessica's brother is sad because the whole family can't read. Therefore, he decides to send Jessica off to school with the little kids. Jessica is embarassed to be in class with little kids so she goes gambling instead. Meanwhile, her brother is working 2 jobs to support her education. He sees her gambling in the street and gets really angry at her...the 2 have a big fight...Frankie sees them in the street arguing. Frankie helped the 2 reconcile and he offers to teach Jessica himself.

Frankie's parents leave a few days to go to a relative's baby's month old baby shower. While they are away, the real Frankie shows up. Apparently what happened was the fake Frankie "Fong Jun" stole the real Frankie's "Sung Yik's" identity. The fake Frankie and real Frankie met while they were in Peking. The fake Frankie went to get money back from a relative that owed his family money. However, that relative refused to pay up. Feeling depressed, he went to hang himself from a tree, but the branch broke and he fell down a hill and ended up next to the real Frankie who was injured after being robbed. The fake Frankie thought the real Frankie was dead so he stole his scroll which proved that he was the newly appointed government official. Anyways, the real Frankie was saved and he went home. He wanted to tell everyone how evil this fake Frankie was, leaving him to die in the hill. The two got into a struggle in Frankie's home and the fake Frankie ended up killing the real Frankie and he buried him in the backyard.

Michael was very nervous again because it was that time of year where he had to take the exam to become a government offical. He was scared of the exam room. This year, the exam was to be held in the town center.

Bobby, Jessica, her brother and Frankie decided to help him practice. However, when it came time for the real exam, Michael freaked out again and failed. He tried to commit suicide but Bobby stopped him. Seeing how talented Michael really was, Frankie decided to hire Michael as the "ci yeah", a legal assistant of the town.
Celine went to see the fortune-teller again because she was still having problems getting pregnant. The fortune-teller told her that Jessica was the cause of her problems and he told Celine to marry Jessica off as far away as possible.

Another dead body is found. From the marks on the body, Bobby deduces that a tiger killed the person. The villagers are now on the lookout for the tiger. The restaurant owner went to buy supplies and didn't know about this incident. His wife was worried so Frankie sent his men to go to the village corner to wait for him. The restaurant owner actually knows kung fu--he killed the tiger when the tiger jumped at him. Mariane's dad and the rest of Frankie's men show up so the restaurant owner pretends that the tiger attacked him and falls to the ground, letting Mariane's dad claim that he killed the tiger.

    Episodes 11-13

Frankie somehow played a role in helping that key eunuch kill bobby's mentor.

Bobby is sitting at the morgue becuase he believes his mentor didn't commit suicide.

Jess was sent by her brother to go and console Bobby. Instead of urgin him to go back home, she ends up sitting next to him because she too feels that Bobby is right and that his mentor didn't commit suicide.

Next. Micael was sent to bring them home. Instead of urging them to go home, he helps them finds another piece of evidence. Now, all three at sitting and staring at the wall. Next. Jessica's brother "Siu Chun" went to find them. He too helped them find another piece of evidence - hand prints on the coffins and they realized that the gravestone plates (?) were all in the wrong order. Apparantly, someone had knocked them over and very hastily put them back on the table. So now all 4 sat there thinking of how Bobby's mentor really died. Finally, Celine comes and gets them and forces them to go home.

Bobby finally figured out how his mentor died and went to tell Frankie. He believes that his mentor was killed by the key eunuch. Frankie pretends that he wants to help Bobby, but he really doesn't.
(Frankie's character has pretty much turned evil now). Bobby talks to Jessica and she tells him to take the body to the king and try to seek justice. Therefore, Bobby and Jessica take a trip to the palace. On their way there, Bobby and Jessica meet the king's brother who's a big practical joker. He plays numerous jokes on them but does get them into the palace.

Jessica pretends to be a maid and Bobby pretends to be a eunuch. Bobby ends up working under the key eunuch. The key eunuch likes Jessica and tries to rape her. Luckily, Bobby was able to divert his intentions.

After hearing that Bobby and Mariane went to find the king, Mariane and Frankie head off to find them. Bobby saw Mariane in the street when he came out to buy things with the other eunuchs and told her the entire story.

Jessica is hiding in one of the king's concubine's closets and finds out that she's 3 months pregnant with the key eunuch's baby. The concubine ends up dead the next day. Bobby went to see the body and realized that she was poisoned.

Bobby and Jessica came up with a plot to capture and key eunuch--it was successful and they king had him killed. The king was pleased with Bobby and Jessica so they were free to return home. He admired Bobby's ability to seek the truth through a dead person's body. Soon, Bobby's name was all over the nation as a well-known coroner.

Frankie is jealous that Bobby is more successful than him. Frankie is having problems getting a higher official to approve his recommendation to fix a bridge. Eileen decides to help him because she likes him.

    Episodes 14-18:

A new body, actually a set of human bones, is found in the village. Bobby is trying to determine who it is. Jessica goes to see him and while they were playing around with the ink, he thinks of using ink on the bones to see if there are any fractures on it. The idea is a success and the identity of the body is revealed. Jessica's other brilliant idea is telling Bobby that he should write a book about his experiences as a coroner.

It's Frankie and Eileen's wedding day. Jessica and Bobby ask Mariane out to eat to make her feel better. With their friendship, Mariane soon recovers from her heartbreak.

Bobby went to the peanut store to buy Jessica's favorite peanuts for her. Unfortunately, a group of little kids bought the last bag. Bobby had to buy a bunch of toys to trade with them and Mariane saw the entire scene. Bobby gives Jessica the bag of peanuts but lies to her, telling her that someone else gave them to him. Afterwards. Mariane tells Jessica that Bobby likes her but she doesn't believe Mariane. Jessica puts Mariane's words to test. She tells Bobby that she lost her jade rabbit that she wears around her neck. Bobby went all over town looking for it and when he couldn't find it, he had a similar-looking one made for her and told her that he found it. Little did he know, Jessica followed him all day. She was touched by his actions.

Mariane urged Bobby to profess his love for Jessica. Jessica went back to her old house and Bobby went to found her. Just as he was about to tell her, part of the wall in the house collapsed and a box could be seen inside the wall. Jessica and Bobby took the box out and inside the box was a big jade rabbit and a note from Jessica mother telling her that she was the king's brother's daughter, a "kwun zhu". They went back to tell everyone the story. Jessica decides to go and find her father. Her brother goes with her.

In the city, Jessica and her brother ran into May Kwong in the street. Someone stole May's wallet and blamed Jessica for the crime. Jessica denied stealing the wallet and yelled at May.

Later at the hotel, Bobby showed up to see them. A body was found in the hotel and after the people found out that he was the well-known coroner, they asked him to examine the body. Bobby helped them solve the case.

The next day, Bobby, Jessica and her brother went to her dad's home. They met with her dad's wife, a "wong fei". She told them that her husband had died already. She told them to leave the jade rabbit and letter so that she could investigate Jessica's identity. Therefore, they returned home and awaited for her news.
Eileen was wasting a lot of money. Frankie;s parents didn't like her squandering personality.

The restaurant owner, "Zhing Leung" (from a previous case), was sick and Mariane's dad helped her out. He was actually starting to like her. Mariane's tries to help her dad out.

After months without any news from the "wong fei" (Jessica's stepmom), Jessica and Bobby decided to go back and ask her for news. When to got there, the "wong fei" pretended that she didn't know who they were and threw them out. May returned home and they found out that she was a "kwun zhu" (princess) and therefore, Jessica's younger sister. Her mom was the evil "wong fei". May urged her mom to let Bobby and Jessica leave unharmed.

Bobby was later forced to quit his job as a coroner. May went to find her sister, Jessica, and brought her the jade rabbit. However, she hired the wrong group of men to pull her carriage and Michael rescued her. Unfortunately, she broke the jade rabbit while they were running. Bobby figured out a way to prove Jessica's identity. If Jessica's blood could seep into her father's bones, then she was his daughter.

They decided to sneak into the coffin room. Unfortunately, the "wong fei" returned home and caught them. Luckily, the king's "10th brother", who had previously helped Jessica and Bobby sneak into the palace, showed up and saved them. He was also able to force the "wong fei" to allow Bobby to use his method. The method worked and Jessica was given her identity as a "kwun zhu" (princess). Jessica now has to go to court to meet the king. Before she left, she gave Bobby the little jade rabbit as a present and told him that she would return.

The king sent a group of men with his official scroll and promoted Bobby to a position even higher than Frankie's.

Bobby finds out from the King's 10th brother that the king wants to marry Jessica off to a Mongolian Prince because the "wong fei" suggested it. Bobby thinks that Jessica likes this Mongolian prince because she sees the 2 of them together happily. In reality though, Jessica only thought of the Mongolian Prince as a good friend. Bobby threw the jade rabbit that Jessica gave him away, thinking that their relationship was over. Mariane sees this and tells him that Jessica wouldn't leave him. However, he's very discouraged. Mariane jumps into the water, hoping to find the jade rabbit for him.

Bobby and Mariane ran into a eunuch from the palace (he sued to work under the evil eunuch). Bobby gave him some money. The eunuch told him that the evil eunuch who had killed Bobby's mentor had a spy among Bobby's group. Mariane and Bobby thought back and couldn't think of anyone other than Frankie who knew the truth and had a motive to tell. Therefore, they became suspicious of Frankie and decided to go and question him. Frankie denies all accusations and acts all innocent.

A dead body is found in water and Bobby examines the body. He had scratched himself before touching the body and had an open wound. He and Michael soon end up with an unknown disease which looks kindda like chicken pox or measles. However, Bobby's case is a lot more severe. The doctors say that there's no cure and that Bobby will die.

Eileen's parent's owed people a lot of money so they left town. Frankie goes to visit Bobby and he's jealous to see Mariane taking care of Bobby. Mariane stayed to take care of Bobby…she wasn't afraid of contracting the disease. Mariane soon got the disease too. However, while she was cooking something with flour, they discovered that flour can cure this disease. The two soon got better and their relationship became even better because of this incident.

Fearing for her sister, May told Jessica that the king planned on marrying her off to the Mongolian Prince. Jessica decided to act like her previous raggedy, loud self in order to thwart the Prince's love towards her. The Prince told her openly that he thought of her as a friend and already had a girlfriend back in Mongolia. The two went to the king and asked that they not be married to each other. The king accepted their decision. The 10th king's brother told Jessica that Bobby thought she was dating the Mongolian Prince. Jessica was very disappointed in Bobby. Episodes 19-22:

Frankie's mom was sick. Frankie makes her some herbal medicine. Frankie's mom finds out that Frankie isn't her son. Her real son has a scar on the top of his head. She asks the "fake Frankie" what happened to the real Frankie. Just then, she realizes that the "fake Frankie" had poisoned her.
Bobby is out with Eileen and the 2 get caught in the rain. They go and hide out on a little boat to avoid the rain. The next day, Jessica's brother "Siu Chun" sees Bobby and Eileen together and thinks that they're sleeping together.

Frankie's mom is found dead in her home. Eileen is accused of the murder. She can't tell that she and Bobby were together talking because she knows that no one will believe her. Bobby tries to help Eileen. Jessica doesn't believe Eileen is innocent.

A dead, burned body is found…it's the guy who was visiting the "real Frankie"…no one knows this though.

Bobby tells Mariane that Eileen had been with him that night.
That's why he knows that she's innocent. Frankie tries to act like he's been emotionally hurt by Eileen so that he can get Jessica's pity.

Celine (her husband "Siu Chun" told her) with Bobby the night of the murder. Frankie accuses Bobby of being the real mastermind behind his mom's murder and Bobby's thrown in jail.

Mariane appeals to Jessica for help but she refuses to help Bobby. Jessica however, did allow for Bobby's case to be delayed 1 month so that he could investigate and find proof. The restaurant owner tells Bobby that she recalls seeing a man that looked exactly like Frankie but he had a limp.

Mariane remembers that the real Frankie has a scar on his head from childhood so they ask Frankie's dad. He believes his son though. And the "fake Frankie" created a scar on his head now…

Eileen is found pregnant. They accuse Bobby of being the father of the child.

Frankie pretends that Bobby hits him. Bobby's friends are beginning to have their doubt about him too now.

Eileen threatens to commit suicide. Frankie doesn't believe that she will though.

Jessica is starting to fall for Frankie again, partly because she knows that she and Bobby will not be together.

Bobby is unable to find solid proof against Frankie. Frankie's dad is beginning to get suspicious of Frankie too. Just as he's getting closer to discovering the real Frankie's body, the fake Frankie has him burned to death.

Frankie sweet-talks Eileen into saying that Bobby is the mastermind behind the murders.
Bobby and Mariane believe that this isn't the real Frankie. They plan on using the bone test. Surprisingly, Frankie's blood seeped through his mom's bones. Bobby is thrown into jail again. He still can't understand what happened with the bone test. As his sentence, Bobby will die…
When Eileen finds out, she tries to hit Frankie but he pushes her and she falls into a coma. Mariane rescues her by lying and saying that she died.

Bobby realizes that the fake Frankie's blood seeped into the bones because his so-called mom was poisoned and anyone's blood will seep through.

Bobby discovered handprints on the clothes of the burned body.

With Jessica and the 10th king's help, got handprints of all the people in China and that was used as their proof against Frankie.
Frankie was put to death and Eileen died before giving birth to her child but her child, a son, was still born. Bobby and Mariane showed Frankie his son before he died.

Both tang si and Mariane were planning on leaving Bobby. However, he found them in time and was going to marry both of them!

    Episodes 1-4
Not much has really happened in the first 4 episodes. The series starts off with Sunny and Liu Kai Chee living up on the mountain and working for this family, who is supposedly related to Sunny's mom, Maggie. However, Liu Kai Chee, in order to hide Sunny's identity, has changed his name. They have lived in this relatively secluded area for many years and during this time, Liu Kai Chee has tried to teach Sunny the "Wu kung fu" which his dad, Felix, left for him. Unfortunately, the first few pages of the booklet were torn out and Sunny never mastered the kung fu.

One day, Eddie and someone from the "Fan" family arrive saying that they are chasing after someone who claims to be "Wu Fei". Liu Kai Chee and Sunny hide because they thought Eddie was referring to Sunny. However, Eddie was referring to someone else. This fake "Wu Fei" was actually part of Eddie's plan so that he could search the mountain for the map to the treasure, which he somehow knew was there. Eddie threatens to kill people in the house if the owner of the house refuses to "hand out" the so-called "Wu Fei". Sunny, not wanting to witness the deaths of these innocent people, comes out and admits that he is "Wu Fei". Next, Wah Yeurng Ming makes his appearance and finds the other "Wu Fei" who was on his way down the mountain already. In order to determine who the real "Wu Fei" is, he decides to test their "kung fu". He decides that neither is "Wu Fei". (Remember that Sunny has not mastered the Wu kung fu yet) Afterwards, Eddie, not wanting to reveal his plan, kills the person he hired to pretend to be "Wu Fei". However, Sunny and Liu Kai Chee witness the murder and decide to leave the mountain. They also eavesdrop on Eddie speaking to the owner of the house. A little bit about the treasure and Sunny's mother are discussed. Unfortunately, Sunny and Liu Kai Chee are discovered and they are being chased. They fall into a passageway in the snow during the chase. Eddie wrongly assumes that they are dead. The passage they fall into is actually where the treasure is held...

When Sunny and Liu Kai Chee go into the room, they see all of the gold. Liu recalls that Maggie mentioned something about the mountain they've been living on and realizes that she was referring to this room that they found. Inside the room, they find 3 dead bodies and a book that Felix left. This is where the flashback of Felix and Maggie's story begins...

First, there's an account of Sunny's ancestors which I mentioned in the "history" part above. In the beginning, Felix was out to search for the members of the 3 families to explain to them how the misunderstanding between these 4 families was started. Because he heard that the head of these 3 families went to visit a house on the mountain, he decided to go there. On the way up the mountain, he meets Maggie in a "hak chang" (restaurant/hotel place). She is in there telling a story to the local villagers about a famous "Dai Hup" named " Wu Yut Do" (so in essence, she's telling a story about how Felix helped the poor and taught the corrupt lords a lesson) . I guess Felix was kind of amused by her. Being the modest person that he is, Felix says that what "Wu Yut Do" did wasn't that great. By doing this, the villagers thought he was disrespecting the famous "dai hup" and they tell him to leave. Maggie, however, tells him to finish his drink before he goes and Felix finishes off a huge jug of wine while Maggie watches in amazement. She decides to follow him and realizes that he's going to her cousin's home.

Felix and Maggie decide to have a race to see who can find the treasure first. Although Felix reaches the cave first, they cannot figure out how to get the door open. Back in her home, Maggie finally figures out how the door opens. Her fiancé (he's also her cousin) pressures her to reveal the secret. Maggie, seeing how ambitious and selfish he is, decides to trade the secret in exchange for the annulment of their engagement/marriage. Her fiancé never reaches the cave though because the map that Maggie drew for him is stolen by the members of the 3 families (Felix's enemies). Her fiancé is pushed down the mountain. They made their way to the cave and found all of the treasure inside. Tempted by greed, they ended up killing each other in the cave. Maggie asks Felix to save her fiancé and he does. After they rescue him, they find out that the culprits were headed for the cave and decided to go and see what became of them.

Inside the cave, they see the dead bodies. Maggie is disheartened by the selfishness which exists in society. She mistakenly assumes that Felix will kill her but he doesn't. Therefore, she makes Felix a proposition: he can either accept her proposal and marry her or he can have all the treasure in the cave. Of course, Felix gives up all the money and agrees to marry her. He had admired her all along and was disappointed when he found out that she was engaged. They decided to write a diary of the events leading up to the discovery of the treasure so that someone in the future would know of their story and the conflicts of the 4 families.

Maggie and Felix had been living happily for many months when someone claimed to be the "best kung fu fighter". Being the accomplished fighter that he was, Felix was eager to meet this person and thus he and his pregnant wife make their way to a hotel.

At this point, the story flashes back to the present. Liu Kai Chee decides to tell Sunny the rest of the story of how his parents died…so we flash back again

    Episodes 5-8
Wan Yeung Ming had taken up the title of "the best kung fu fighter" in order to lure Felix out. Ming wanted to avenge the death of his father (he thought Felix killed him). The sons from the other 2 families came also (one of them was Eddie Cheung Siu Fai). Ming and Felix quickly became good friends, each admired the other for their "mo kung". Unfortunately, the duty of revenge laid on Ming's shoulders. Eddie and the son from the other family tried to interfere with the whole revenge issue. They were eager for revenge and used dirty tricks to try to kill Felix and Maggie. In the end, Ming and Felix became victims of his plan...What had happened was Maggie was in labor and they had to find a doctor for her. They ended up finding a greedy doctor who only thought of money. When Felix sent this doctor to bring Ming a note telling of the misunderstandings in the 4 families, this doctor brought the note to Eddie instead because he wanted money. Eddie told the doctor to put poison on Felix and Ming's swords. The next day, when the fight began again, Felix was cut by Ming because he didn't want to injure Ming. The poisoned cut killed Felix. Eddie came in and killed Maggie off too. Ming tried to save her but there were too many men he had to fight. Before Maggie died, she handed her son, Sunny, over to Liu Kai Chee and told him to go to the room and get the "mo kung" handbook in their baggage and to go back to the mountain where Felix had left a diary about the misunderstandings between the 4 families.

After seeing that Maggie had died, Liu Kai Chee ran with the baby back to the room and saw the doctor digging through the baggage and immediatly guessed that he had something to do with the death of his friend. Liu tried to grab the handbook from him but the book ripped and he lost a few pages. Then he ran with the baby with Eddie chasing after him. Eddie cut off Liu Kai Chee's arm (ewwww) and the suffering Liu jumped into the river in order to avoid Eddie's sword. Luckily, he and the baby survived.

This is the entire flashback of the past. Now we go back to Sunny and Liu Kai Chee in the present. They decided to leave the cave and go far from the mountain in order to stay away from Eddie.

Sunny and Liu go to Felix and Maggie's grave. There, they see Wan Yeung Ming and his daughter, Charmaine, paying tribute to Felix and Maggie. Remember that Liu still thinks Ming is responsible for the deaths. Disgusted, he drags Sunny away. At this point, Ming tells of his past concerning his wife. (This part was kindda boring so I'll just give the gist of it) Ming's wife was the daughter of a high official. Her father was killed and Ming saved her. He decided to take care of her. After their marriage, she wasn't very happy because Ming was a boring man who only thought of kung fu. One day, Eddie comes to visit Ming. He falls in love with Ming's wife and they elope. She left her baby girl and Ming behind.

Liu Kai Chee gets sick and they seek refuge in this house because it is raining. As though by fate, they also see the doctor in the house, who was also seeking shelter from the rain. Next, Charmaine and Ming show up. And lastly, Eddie and his wife show up. (this was the oddest scene thus far...everyone shows up in the house at the same time??? talk about wierd) Anyways, Sunny goes up to the doctor and threatens to reveal his identity if he doesn't give back the first few pages to his dad's "kung fu" booklet. The doctor freaks out and returns it to him (yeah right, like he's been carrying it with him all these years...) Charmaine rejects her mom and she leaves with her dad. Eddie and his wife leave soon after.

The next part is kindda interesting but hard to explain. The lady who owns the house is actually Wan Yeung Ming's enemy. Felix had killed the woman's husband for Ming. ( This is because while Ming and Felix were having that big fight, Felix asked Ming if he had anything left he wanted to accomplish. Ming stated that he had to kill someone for a friend. So Felix helped him kill this guy. confusing....huh?) This old lady therefore, wanted to kill Felix and Ming (she didn't know Felix was dead).

Anyways, Sunny and Liu stay for a few more days because Liu's still recovering. During that time, another man appears. This guy happens to be #3 from the Red Lotus Society (Hung Fa Wui). (ok....now I have to tell the history of the Red Lotus Society. If you guys have taken Chinese History or read Jin Yong's other novel the Legend of the Book and the Sword, you will realize that Flying Fox is kind of a sequel in that some of the characters reappear. The Red Lotus Society were people of Han descent who wanted to restore the Han people into power and get rid of the Ching Dynasty. Anyways, if you remember from Book & Sword, the main members of the society are Chan Ka Lok and the "dang ka's"--there were like 14 of them if I recall correctly. the guy Sunny meets here is guy #3 from the Red Lotus Society)

The old lady apparently held a grudge against #3 also. After she found out that Sunny was Felix's son, she tried to kill Sunny and #3. However, they ended up escaping and because she had failed in killing them, it was as though she lost her will to live. Therefore, she jumped into the fire and died. Her son believed that Sunny was the culprit. He wasn't bad or anything, just that he's really gullible.

Sunny and #3 later decided to become blood brothers. #3 taught Sunny his Tai Chi Kung Fu and gave him his white horse and some money. He had to leave because their were things from the Red Lotus Society that he had to take care of.

Meanwhile, in a hotel, the old lady's son tried to kill Sunny. Sunny was trying to avoid getting injured but at the same time, he didn't want to injure the other guy. Just then, Joyce makes an appearance and sides with the other guy without even hearing the entire story. The other guy leaves. Joyce sort of dislikes Sunny because of this.

Joyce is a member of the Red Lotus Society also. She is #4's wife's disciple. She recognized Sunny's white horse and thought that he stole it from #3, and therefore steals it from Sunny. She also ends up taking Sunny's money. Sunny is forced to go after her because the horse was a gift from his blood brother. So he's off trying to find his horse. Joyce returns to the Red Lotus Society. The Society has some business to take care of. Marco makes his appearance as Chan Ka Lok, the head of the Red Lotus Society (he plays several characters in the series, the first being Chan Ka Lok--a good guy).

Meanwhile, Sunny meets Lieu Hiu Tung. She's dressed as a guy and she's really funny. They become good friends. Lieu Hiu Tung is actually Eddie's father-in-law's youngest disciple. Eddie pushed his father-in-law down a cliff many years ago and caused his paralysis. Later, Lieu Hiu Tung became the guy's disciple and it was her responsibilty to help her mentor seek revenge on Eddie but unfortunately, she was lazy and never learned all of his kung fu before he died.

The Red Lotus Society has decided to kill some corrupt people. Joyce begs for a chance to kill Eddie. Eddie is Joyce's father and Lieu Hiu Tung's mentor's granddaughter. Joyce's mom saw Eddie kill her father and tried to run from him but got stabbed by him. She was pushed into the sea and resued by #4 and his wife of the Red Lotus Society. Before she died, she asked them to take care of Joyce. Therefore, Joyce really hates her dad. However, she decides to save him twice before killing him since after all, he is her dad.

    Episodes 11-18
Sunny is angry at Joyce for repeatedly saving Eddie. Joyce buys a house for Sunny and Liu Kai Chee to live in as her way of apologizing to him. However, he doesn't know this and is still trying to figure out who bought the house. When he does find out that it's Joyce, he angrily storms to the Red Lotus Society house. #3 explains Joyce's past to him. Sunny goes to find Joyce and she reluctantly tells him the story of how her father, Eddie, killed her mom and grandfather. Sunny has actually started to like Joyce. However, Joyce only likes Marco (Chan Ka Lok).

Sunny stays at the Red Lotus Society house and helps out with their affairs. Marco (Chan Ka Lok) returns and tells them about the king's illegitimate son, "Fook Hong On" coming to the area. (The character "Fook Hong On" is also played by Marco Ngai in the series. Therefore, from now on, I will refer to them as Marco-good and Marco-evil in my summaries. Marco-evil is "Fook Hong On".) Together, the members of the Red Lotus Society devise a plan to capture him. While Sunny is staying here, he accidentally reveals that he likes Joyce and likewise, Joyce accidentally reveals that she likes Marco-good. Marco (good) tells her that he only likes "Heung Heung Princess", even though she is dead.

Marco (good) leads the members of the Red Lotus Society and Sunny to capture Marco (evil). They are divided into 2 groups: #3 leads Sunny, Joyce, and 2 others, while Marco (good) leads the rest. Marco's (good) group thought that they had captured the evil Marco but it turned out to be the evil Marco's scheme to destroy the members of the Red Lotus Society. Therefore, Marco (good) and several members were engaged in a really big fight. Soon #3 leads his group to help Marco (good). In the end, 2 members of the Red Lotus Society are captured and several are injured. Sunny gets heavily injured while saving Joyce. Although Joyce feels guilty about Sunny's injury, she still couldn't accept his love for her. Instead, she cooks him a meal as her way of thanking him and they become good friends. In Sunny's heart, though, he still loves Joyce. Marco (good) urges Joyce to accept Sunny.

Marco (good) receives notice from "Heung Heung Princess'" older sister that the king has sent men to destroy their tribe. He quickly sets out to help her.

Marco (evil) makes his appearance in the series when he visits Eddie to designate him as one of the king's officials. Eddie is honored with this title. While he is there, Joyce makes an appearance and tries to kill Eddie. However, her attempt is unsuccessful and she is captured by Marco's (evil) men. Joyce notices the resemblance between Marco (Chan Ka Lo-good) and Marco (Fook Hong On-bad). Marco (evil) tells her that he is actually Marco's (good) nephew and that he doesn't really want to harm the Red Lotus Society. Then he releases her. Meanwhile, Sunny is frantically searching for Joyce. Marco (evil) sweet talks Joyce and she begins to fall for him. He tells her to meet her on a boat. Joyce shows up and tells him that they can never be friends because they are on different sides. In reality though, Joyce is beginning to like him because he looks like the good Marco.

Back at home, Joyce is still thinking about Marco (evil). He starts playing his flute in the middle of the night near the Red Lotus house. Joyce hears him and is troubled about what she should do.

Members of the Red Lotus Society spot the evil Marco nearby and end up capturing him. They told the evil Marco to release their 2 members who were caught. Marco (evil) is forced to do as they are told. Joyce releases Marco (evil) despite the fact that he is the society's enemy. She and Evil Marco have a one night stand. Later, Sunny spots Joyce and tries to prevent her from helping the evil Marco escape. Sunny realizes that Joyce now likes the evil Marco. Joyce accidentally injures Sunny while they are fighting. Evil Marco's men arrive and save him. The members of the Red Lotus Society also arrive, but they are unable to recapture Marco (evil). Because of this, Joyce is kicked out of the Red Lotus Society (RLS) and her mentor is very disappointed in her actions.

Although Sunny is injured, he only cares about Joyce's well-being. When he finds out that she was kicked out of the RLS, he tries to find her. He goes to find Marco (evil) and tries to kill him after he overhears that Marco (evil) never liked Joyce. However, he is heavily injured by evil Marco's men. Joyce had overheard Marco (evil) also and she comes out to save Sunny. In the end, Marco (evil) released them.

Joyce apologizes to Sunny for all the hurt that she's caused him and then leaves. When Sunny returns home, he's very depressed and starts drinking. He also begins to practice all the kung fu that he learned from his dad's book, from what #3 taught him, and and also the kung fu that Lieu Hiu Tung taught him. He begins to practice nonstop and ends up "zhao foi yut mo" (all the chi in his body is messed up) because he was mixing up 3 types of mo kung. Sunny leaves home because he doesn't want Liu Kai Chee to worry about him. He ends up in a temple and Wan Yeung Ming and Charmaine see him. Wan Yeung Ming saves him and during this time, Charmaine took care of him. Before she leaves, she makes him a grasshopper out of grass and places it by his pillow. When Sunny awakens, he thought that Charmaine was an illusion, but when he sees the grasshopper, he believes that she truly existed. Lieu Hiu Tung soon arrives and finds Sunny.

As Lieu Hiu Tung and Sunny return home, they run into some guys who claim that they are Wan Yeung Ming's friend and that they have a letter for him. The letter is a warning for Wan Yeung Ming that enemies will be attacking him soon. Lieu Hiu Tung urges Sunny to take advantage of the situation and steal the letter so that Wan Yeung Ming will not be forewarned. However, Sunny being the upright and honest guy that he is decides that he wants to seek revenge on Wan Yeung Ming in an honorable manner. Therefore, when these 2 guys are killed and they ask Sunny to be the messenger, he agrees.

When Wan Yeung Ming opens the letter, it turns out to be some sort of poisonous gas which causes Sunny to go blind. Eddie soon shows up with a lot of men and fighting erupts. Charmaine is told to hide because she doesn't know how to fight. However, when she peeks out of the door, she sees a piece of yellow cloth on Sunny's eyes. This is the cloth with the words "World's #1 fighter" which her father had given to Felix's son, "Wu Fei" (Sunny) when he was a baby. Seeing this, Charmaine runs after Sunny and Lieu Hiu Tung, who are being chased by Eddie's men. Lieu Hiu Tung hides Sunny in a little boat and disguises herself as Sunny and runs in the opposite direction to distract the men. Charmaine gets in the boat and pushes it to sea when she sees Eddie's men returning.

Charmaine and Sunny fall into the sea because of the big waves. They are both rescued by fishermen who live in a small village. The blind Sunny still manages to find Charmaine after they are separated. During this period of time, Charmaine took care of Sunny and they became good friends. However, Charmaine doesn't reveal her true identity to Sunny. Charmaine does a lot for Sunny but he feels bad because he is a burden on her.

Wan Yeung Ming is frantically searching for his daughter. He goes to Eddie's house and tells him that if anything happens to Charmaine, he will kill him. The reason why Eddie attacked Wan Yeung Ming in the first place is because he wants the map to the treasure. (Remember I told you guys in the beginning that the original treasure map was divided into parts and given to the "Teen" and "Miu" families?) However, Eddie is no match for Wan Yeung Ming's kung fu. Therefore, he was forced to retreat.

Eddie sends men to find Charmaine so that he can use her to get the map. Sunny starts fighting with the men. Lieu Hiu Tung arrives in time to help Sunny. Together, they decide to go up "medicine god mountain" so that they can find the rumored medicine god to help Sunny recover his eyesight. When they reach the top of the mountain, they meet a deaf man who tries to poison them. Luckily, they are able to find the guy to cure their poison. The guy escapes from them soon after.

The threesome come across a maze and Lieu Hiu Tung claims that she knows the way out. However, they end up getting trapped inside. In a fit of frustration, Lieu Hiu Tung uses her sword to hit the wall and it ends up spitting out poisonous air. Sunny and Lieu Hiu Tung get posioned but Charmaine is OK. She finds her way through the passage to the other side and after she reveals that she is Wan Yeung Ming's daughter, a man shows up. This guy is apparently the master of medicines and poisons. He saves Sunny and Lieu Hiu Tung. When they ask him to cure Sunny's eyes, he agrees. (I'm not sure if this is the real medicine god because he is the guy who poisoned Felix and Maggie)

    Episodes 19-20
As it turns out, this guy is the evil person who poisoned Felix. He decides to kill Sunny too becuase he held a grudge against Felix. He ends up curing Sunny's eyes, but at the same time, he pushes this negative chi into Sunny, which means that Sunny is supposedly going to die soon.

Although Charmaine is happy that Sunny is better, she is also sad because she now has to leave him. Sunny didn't know that she was Wan Yeung Ming's daughter. Charmaine soon leaves after finding out that Sunny is ok. Sunny is saddened by this and goes around looking for her. (He still doesn't know what she looks like because she covered her face after his eyes recovered.)

Eddie Cheung still has guys out looking for Charmaine because he wanted to use her to make her dad give up the treasure map. Eddie ends up finding her first and takes her to his home. Wan Yeung Ming comes looking for his daughter and falls into a trapdoor on the ground and is captured. (Wan Yeung Ming actually doesn't know about the treasure map.)

Sunny finds out that Charmaine is at Eddie's house. He goes to find her and ends up saving her. He doesn't know that she's the one he's looking for though because Charmaine never told him her real name. He only called her "Grasshopper". Just as Sunny was going to ask her questions, Lieu Hiu Tung stands behind Sunny, making faces at Charmaine telling her not to speak because Sunny will recognize her voice.

This is the end of episode 20. These 2 episodes were quite uneventful as you can see...By the way, I hope I'm not confusing you guys. It's hard summarizing these mo hap series

    Episodes 21-26
Sunny finally realizes that Charmaine was the "grasshopper girl" who took care of him when he was blind. Charmaine said two words, "Thank you" and Sunny figured it all out. It was all kind of awkward because their families were supposed to be enemies. Sunny told her that he was still going to challenge her father but in order to repay him for saving his life once, he was going to return the favor before challenging him. Therefore, Sunny goes to Eddie's home and saves Wan Yeung Ming. Wan Yeung Ming is thrilled to find out that Sunny is still alive. However, because of all the misunderstandings which have occurred in the past, they both realize that a tournament is inevitable. Therefore, they agree to fight in one year and within this period of time, Wan Yeung Ming will try to find the poisoner to clear his name. Sunny agrees to take Charmaine home while Wan Yeung Ming begins his journey to find the real murderer.

While Sunny, Lieu Hiu Tung, and Charmaine are on their way to Charmaine's home, they overhear some people wanting to take revenge on Joyce. Sunny immediately rushes there with the two girls to save Joyce. Joyce faints on him and they take her back to Charmaine's house, where the doctor discovers that she's pregnant. Sunny wishes to marry Joyce so that he can take care of her but Joyce doesn't want his pity and she doesn't want to hurt him again. Therefore, she leaves. Sunny goes after her though. Joyce saves a man (this guy appeared earlier in the series. His mom tried to kill Sunny because Sunny's dad, Felix, killed her husband. Remember him???) Anyways, Joyce faints after saving him and he takes her to his home. Sunny later finds her at his home and tries to talk to her but Joyce hides from him. However, Sunny is ever-so-persistent and just refuses to give up. Joyce finally decides to marry the guy because he treated her very nicely and she knew that she would be happy with him. Joyce tells Sunny of her marriage plans and he is very sad at first. Later he agrees to be present at their wedding and wishes them well. Lieu Hiu Tung and Charmaine think that Sunny is marrying Joyce and rush to the wedding and Lieu Hiu Tung makes a complete fool of herself. Sunny finally accepts the fact that he and Joyce were never meant to be together and he's happy that Joyce has finally found someone that she can depend on. Therefore, Sunny moves on with his life.

Sunny, and the two girls return to the Red Lotus Society after a member comes looking for them. This member's name in the series is "Sum Yeen" and he is really funny when he's with Annabelle Lieu Hiu Tung. They're always arguing.

Sunny meets up with #3 again and #3 asks Sunny to accompany him to the 4 main kung fu houses (Shaolin, Ngor Mei, Mo Dang, Wah San) because the leaders of these 4 sects have agreed to help the Red Lotus Society in their endeavor to prevent the meeting of Marco's (Fook Hong On-evil) men. However, unknown to them, Marco, in collaboration with Eddie and the poisoner, had already captured the 4 leaders. The Red Lotus Society was being blamed for the kidnapping too so when Sunny and #3 showed up at Shaolin and "Mo Dang", they had to fight heavily to keep from being captured.

Meanwhile, back at the Red Lotus home, Annabelle Lieu Hiu Tung and Charmaine were getting restless. Annabelle Lieu wanted to go out to celebrate the Mooncake Festival but "Sum Yeen " refused to let them out because it was dangerous. Therefore, Annabelle Lieu put some sort of medicine in his food and he had to go to the potty and they snuck out to play. Annabelle and Charmaine were separated briefly and Marco (evil) met her and he likes her now.

Before Sunny and #3 are able to return back to the Society's house, people from the 4 kung fu sects go to the Red Lotus house and demand that their leaders be released. Fighting occurs and basically the Red Lotus members get beaten up because their main members were all away at the time. Charmaine got knocked out and Marco (evil) saved her in hopes of winning her heart. However, she only likes Sunny.

Sunny and #3 return to see everyone injured. Charmaine returns also.

Sunny has abdominal pains and faints. That night, the posioner comes looking for Charmaine and tells her that he poisoned Sunny and if she wanted to save Sunny then she's have to sleep with Marco (evil). However, the poisoner is actually lying to her because there is no cure for Sunny. After contemplating and watching Sunny suffer, Charmaine agrees. On the day she went to find Marco (evil), Annabelle Lieu and "Sum Yeen" see her and follow her. They went and got Sunny and #3, and were able to save Charmaine.

They found out that there was no medical cure for Sunny. The members tried to use their kung fu to push the poison out but that didn't work. Everyone was very sad and they decided to have Sunny live happily for the last 3 months of his life. Sunny overheard that he was going to die and therefore, he tried to push Charmaine away by saying that he still liked Joyce when he was really beginning to like Charmaine. Because of this, Charmaine left. Annabelle Lieu urged Sunny to go after Charmaine and he did, but ended up going in the wrong direction

    Episodes 27-30

"Sum Yeen" professes his love for Annabelle Lieu Hiu Tung. She's grossed out and kicks him out of her room. She decides to leave so that she can help find Charmaine. "Sum Yeen" tags along against Annabelle's wishes. Unknown to them, one of Marco's (evil) men is also out searching for Charmaine. This person is the doctor who took a role in Felix's death. He has become a monk now. However, he still hasn't changed and his greed led him to join Marco's men. He ends up finding Charmaine first and pretends to be her dad's friend. When she finally realizes that he's a bad person, he puts her in a bag and the poisonous fumes from the bag make her faint. Annabelle and "Sum Yeen" are luckier and end up finding the monk. They start fighting and Sunny shows up. The evil person, pretends that he has turned Charmaine over to her dad already. Therefore, Sunny goes to search for Charmaine and her father. Annabelle suspects that something is up and decides to go back to look for Charmaine and finds her in the bag and pulls her out. However, the monk is on his way back so Annabelle decides to hide in the bag so that she can hit the guy without retaliation. However, she doesn't know that the bag has poisonous fumes and she ends up fainting. Charmaine is reunited with her father. When Marco (evil) opens the bag and finds that its Annabelle and not Charmaine, he's furious. "Sum Yeen" jumps in and saves Annabelle.

Sunny finds Charmaine and her father and wants to explain that he does like her but she won't listen to him. She later gets sick and the doctor says that it's psychological problems that's making her sick. Sunny goes and talks to her, telling her that he does love her, and she gets better. They decide to be together until he dies. They return to the Red Lotus house. Annabelle and "Sum Yeen" return also.

There is news that Marco (Chan Ka Lok-the good one) is returning so the members are going to meet him him in town. Sunny, Charmaine, Annabelle, and "Sum Yeen" are travelling together. They run into Joyce and her husband. She has given birth to twin sons. They travel for a while together and then go their separate ways. Joyce's group is attacked by Marco's (evil) men and they steal the 2 babies and her husband committed suicide because he felt that he couldn't defend Joyce. Joyce is furious. She returns to the palace to see Marco (evil). She is somewhat forced to stay there because Marco (evil) wants to be near his sons.

Sunny and his gang find out what happened to Joyce and go back to try and find her.

Joyce angers Marco's (evil) mother and she poisons Joyce. Sunny saves her but the poison has already entered into her body so by the time they make it back to the Red Lotus house and Sunny tries to use his kung fu to push the poison out, it's already too late. The other main members return, including Joyce's mentor. Together, they try to help her, but she only has 3 days left to live. Her dying wish is to be reunited with her babies.

Marco (good) is on his way back to the Red Lotus house. However, on the way back, he gets tricked by someone and ends up being attacked by Marco's (evil) men. He is captured and Marco (evil) decides to use him as bait to destroy the Red Lotus Society and all of its members once and for all. All the members agree to go and save Marco(good). Sunny and Annabelle want to go also but #3 refuses to let them go because they are not really members and he doesn't want them to die. Therefore, Sunny and Annabelle go to the palace and save the babies. Sunny also captures Marco's (evil) mom while he's there.

The Red Lotus members are at the site where Marco (good) is about to be executed. Fighting breaks out and just when they are on the verge of losing, Wan Yeung Ming (Charmaine's dad) arrives and helps them. However, they still cannot withstand the competition. Sunny arrives in the nick of time with Marco's (evil) mom and threatens to kill her. Therefore, they are all able to escape.

Back at the Red Lotus home, many are injured. Sunny asks Marco (good) to do him a favor---to pretend to be the evil Marco so that Joyce can die peacefully. Therefore, the good Marco goes and speaks to Joyce and tells her that he was sorry for hurting her and that he did love her. However, Joyce realizes that it's the good Marco and she thanks him for trying to make her feel better. In the end, she asks him to hug her and tells him that perhaps all along it was him that she loved the most…(This part was really sad. All along, Joyce liked the evil Marco because he looked like the good Marco.). Not only did Joyce die, but member #2 of the Red Lotus Society died also. It was a very gloomy day. At the grave, Marco (good) was particularly sad because he felt that he was partly responsible for Joyce's death because he couldn't accept her love in the beginning when she told him that she liked him.

The next day was the "Kung Fu Event" which the evil Marco had been planning for a long time. Sunny and others disguised themselves to attend the event while Charmaine's dad and the good Marco had to go out to look for the leaders of the 4 sects who were still being held captive

    Episodes 31-32
These 2 episodes were pretty uneventful. Not much happened.

Sunny and the members of the Red Lotus Society are attending the "Kung Fu Event" in disguise. The 4 main sects (Shaolin, Mo Dang, Ngor Mei, Kwun Lun) were being challenged by Eddie and 3 other small sects. Every sect sent a representative and a competition began. All 4 sects lost so Sunny and members of the Red Lotus had to come out and pretend that they belonged to 4 sects which were headquartered outside the area. They challenged and beat Eddie's 4 sects. Eddie finally figured out that it was them and an argument started. Sunny questioned the poisoner about who killed his father…he lied and said it was Charmaine's dad, Wan Yeung Ming, who ordered the poison to be placed on Felix' sword.

The 4 main sects (Shaolin, Mo Dang, Ngor Mei, Kwun Lun) still thought that the Red Lotus Society captured their leaders so they started arguing. Marco (good) finally found the 2 leaders who were still alive and they pointed the finger to Eddie as the culprit. Eddie and the poisoner fled the scene.

Sunny fainted because he had used his "chi" and the poison was running through his body again. Back at the Red Lotus house, Marco (good), Wan Yeung Ming, and 6 members of the Red Lotus Society together used their "chi" to help Sunny. Sunny has 1 month left.

Sunny and the good Marco decided to go out for drinks. Marco asks if there's anything he can do for Sunny and Sunny asks him to take care of Joyce's sons.

Sunny and Wan Yeung Ming decided to go their separate ways to find the poisoner again so that they could question him about Felix's death. On the way, Sunny comes across Charmaine's mom, who's somewhat crazy now.

    Episodes 33-40

***Note: I didn't get a chance to watch the entire end of the series due to my projects and exams but I watched bits and pieces with my sister so here it is...

Sunny found Charmaine's mom first. While they were in the temple, she gave her hair clip (the one with the map to the treasure) to Sunny and told him to give it back to Wan Yeung Ming. Sunny opened it up and found the map but put it back together. Charmaine's mom wasn't very stable so he was going to take her to Wan Yeung Ming but she wanted to visit Felix and Maggie's grave. Eddie's men told him that Charmaine's mom was with Sunny. Eddie and some of Marco's (evil) men went to find her and a fight started between Sunny and them. Sunny was on the verge of losing when Charmaine's mom recalled that a long time ago, Wan Yeung Ming buried a really good sword at the grave, so she started digging it up and told Sunny to get it. With this new sword, Sunny was pretty much invinceable but he fainted after it all ended because he used too much chi...Wan Yeung Ming shows up and carries Sunny home.

Charmaine is reconciled with her mom...An American doctor is sent to tend her and he says that she has psychological problems (I guess in Chinese its called "sum bang").

Eddie gangs up with the "Fan Family" guy...

Charmaine's mom regains sanity and she feels guilty about the past but she knows there's no turning back now...THerfore, she goes back to Eddie to question him ... she wanted to know if he ever loved her. Wan Yeung Ming, Sunny, and Charmaine go to find her. Eddie holds her captive because he wanted the map but she decided to kill herself...Before she died, she told him that the map was on the hair clip (which she passed on to Charmaine) just to anger him because Eddie would never be able to get it with Sunny and Wan Yeung Ming around. (Actually, this was her biggest mistake and it was this mistake that later ruined Charmaine)

Sunny has very little time left and everyone is very sad. Charmaine was going to give up her life to save Sunny (the only way to save him now was for someone to suck the poison out of him but that person will definitely die). However, Annabelle Lieu Hiu Tung decided to sacrifice herself to save him and she died in the end. Sunny was very sad...

Sunny and Charmaine went to find Liu Kai Chee. Wan Yeung Ming goes to find that evil Poison person so that the whole mess about Felix's death can be cleared up. They agreed to meet on the Snowy Mountain where Sunny grew up. Eddie and the "Fan guy" and everyone involved in Felix's death was to meet on the mountain. When they were on the mountain, Sunny received news that Wan Yeung Ming was in trouble so he set out to help him. He left Liu Kai Chee and Charmaine on the mountain, thinking that the "Fan guy" and the owner were good guys and would protect them. Unkown to him, they were all on Eddie and the Evil Marco's side.

Liu Kai Chee was kicked off the mountain and Charmaine was drugged. This was when Marco evil raped her (and she thought it was Sunny). Liu Kai Chee didn't die. He got all the dynamite that he left on the mountain and planted it at the treasure cave. When Eddie and everyone else arrived, they were all killed, including Liu Kai Chee.

Sunny found Charmaine in the room still drowsy and she wasn't dressed..I think that's why she thought it was him. Wan Yeung Ming arrives and he's fighting with people and then the windows are knocked down and he found Sunny and Charmaine in an uncompromising position.

Charmaine wants Sunny to marry her but he's confused and then they get into an argument....and then I didn't watch this next part...heehee...but my sister said that Wan Yeung Ming and Sunny had a fight because of Charmaine and they were fighting on the mountain...Charmaine jumped to prevent them from fighting and because he had to save her, Sunny accidentally hit Wan Yeung Ming, who fell off the mountain and went into a coma. Charamine realized that it was the evil Marco who raped her.

A couple years pass, and Charmaine hasn't forgiven herself yet. Sunny is still pursuing her. Her dad is still in a coma (a mysterious person is trying to cure him...this person is the real Medicine God who indeed is still alive). Her dad wakes up one day and says a few words and dies (or so we think) and then Charmaine decides to become a nun but Sunny shows up and he commits suicide (or something like that cause he starts spitting all this blood out...Charmaine is very worried) and the Medicine God shows up and saves him. Charmaine and Sunny get together because of this. Her dad also walks out...apparently he's been cured by the Medicine God...so he and the Medicine God decide to go places and he leaves Charmaine in Sunny's hands.

Sunny went to kill the evil Marco but the members of the Red Lotus Society kindly asked him not to kill Marco so that they could save a nation. Apparently, the king has sent men to defeat "Heung Heung Princess" and "Fok Ching Tung's" nation and the good Marco wanted to use the Evil Marco to threaten the king. The good Marco dressed up like th evil Marco and went to see the king who was forced to withdraw his men and write up a 100 year peace treaty. The evil Marco was dressed like the good Marco and was forced to stay with the Red Lotus Society Members...he saw his twin sons while he was there and told them that he was their dad. The good Marco returns with the good news and sends the evil Marco on his way back to the kingdom (he promised the king not to harm the evil Marco). He wanted to take his 2 sons along but his two sons called the good Marco "Dad" instead...The Good Marco decided to keep the 2 boys by his side and raise them.

Charmaine and Sunny said their goodbyes and went to Snowy Mountain to visit Liu Kai Chee's grave...

    the end
