All this is to force Wan out of the court... but it only goes to reinforce Wan's power in both the Emperor and within the politics of the court and palace...

The Emperor uses skills well and Wan's cousin Yeung Kwok Chung (Tsang Wai Kuen) is a high official in the court, but this causes the opposition of Lee Lam Po (Kwok Fung) and also heightens the rebellion of On Luk San (Yuen Siu Cheung), creating the historical "Uprising of On"! The Empress Mother takes the chance to put forward a request for the Emperor to sentence Wan to death, otherwise she will not send out her six armies. The era of a beautiful lady draws to a close...

    Square Pegs
    Canto: Ngong Fu Sing Lung

Cast: Roger Kwok Chun On, Jessica Hsuan Huen, Raymond Cho Wing Lim. Winnie Yeung Yuen Yee, Yuen Wah, Tong Ling, Hui Siu Hung, Lo Yuen Yan, Rebecca Chan Sau Chu, Lee Shing Cheung

“This simple man has simple luck,
After escaping from death, will his luck continue for him?”

Due to a twist of fate, rich boy Ding Sheung Wong (Roger Kwok) and poor orphan Bao Kai Chung (Raymond Cho) have their identities swapped over.

In the early republican days, Wong was originally the only son and heir of Bao Hing Fung (Yuen Wah), but because his first wife was jealous, she sent away his mother who was pregnant with him at the time. Bao Tai Fu (Lee Shing Cheung) had his eye on his uncle Fung’s wealth, and to ensure that he would inherit this wealth, he decided to get rid of the mother and child. Wong’s mother was murdered and Wong was beaten until he lost all his memories, Fu then found orphan boy Chung to take on the identity of the Bao descendant. Although Wong survived his ordeal, he was left with the intelligence of a seven or eight year old child and ended up in the Woo Lung Village and is accepted by Mi Chu Lin (Lo Yuen Yan) as her long lost son.

Lau Seung Seung (Rebecca Chan) and Lin had agreed an arranged marriage between their children and Wong should have married Seung’s daughter, but instead Seung married him to her stepdaughter Ling Choi Fung (Jessica Hsuan) and instead married her daughter Ling Choi Dip (Tong Ling) to Chung. In fact, before he lost his memory, Wong had already been engaged to Yeung Pui Kwan (Winnie Yeung), when Wong disappeared, Kwan had searched for him endlessly and at last managed to find him and get close to him. With Wong caught up between Fung and Kwan, the two realise that there is something strange about Wong’s background and together they work to investigate the truth and help him to regain his memories. Will Chung be able to continue living as the rich son? Will the foolish Wong be reunited with his father Master Bao? Faced with a new love and an old flame, will Wong be able to have a happy family and marriage?

I thought Cho Wing Lim's English name is Raymond. I remember his name is Raymond Cho. So which one is correct?

Wow, I already like Square Pegs. It seems very funny and touching when I watch the trailer at TVB site. Looking forward to see this series. Thanks EM.
