    A Case of Misadventure
    (Canto: Ker Ler Dai Jong)

Cast: Flora Chan, So Wing Hong, Cheung Chi Kwong, Wong Lam, Kwok Fung, Au Kam Tong, Kwok Ching Hung, Yeung Ying Wai, Leung Shun Yin, Tso Jung

"A bungling lawyer and a clever servant maid - two enemies paths cross
By working together and putting their differences aside, they solve many mysteries"

Canton - as the saying goes "a tiger father will not have a dog for a son", so it is generally recognised that Chan Tai Hei (So Wing Hong) will be like his father Chan Mung Kat and become and outstanding lawyer. In actual fact, he only cares for eating, drinking and playing hard, Hei has no skill to match his position. Because of this, Tai Foon (Flora Chan) hopes are raised and then dashed. Foon's fiance Law Bor (Kwok Ching Hung) is framed and sent to prison. As a result, Foon signs a work contract to travel to Hong Kong and become a servant in exchange for money which she gives to Hei in legal fees to help her fiance's case. Hei has no talent as a lawyer and Bor is found guilty and exiled. Foon is extremely angry with Hei but when she comes to find him, he has also gone to Hong Kong.

Hong Kong - Hei's father-in-law-to-be Yung Tak Sing (Kwok Fung) is a rich tycoon, who uses bribes to make Hei a Justice of the Peace. Hei employs a servant maid from Daliang to cook him his favourite traditional foods, only to find that his servant is Foon. With a perfect opportunity for revenge, Foon ensures that Hei's food is disgusting and hard to eat as she watches with pleasure.

In these time, the Justice of the Peaces were also responsible for maintaining order in the colony. However, as Hei's investigative skills are none existant, despite having his butler Ng Sam Sang (Cheung Chi Kwong) to help him, he still doesn't have a clue and each time, he still needs Foon's intelligence to help him solve the cases. After co-operating so much, Hei and Foon gradually go from being enemies to falling in love....

There are already some reviews on this site about this but here is what TVB has to say:
    $this->handle_bbcode_img_match('http://www.tvb.com/tvbi/program/raiders/img/cover.jpg')
    Treasure Raiders
    (Canto: Siu Sap Yat Long)

Cast: Felix Wong, Maggie Siu, Anne Heung, Kwok Yiu Ming, Law Man Chong, Hugo Ng, Lee Ka Sing, Tsang Wai Kuen, Halina Tam, Lee Kwok Lun

    "A treasure trove ... A promise ...
Creates a terrible scene of massacre
And binds a hero for half his life."

Just before Chor Lau Heung died, he told the secret of his treasure trove to the Siu family, telling them to pass on the message in 60 years time for his family to come and find his legacy. Within the Siu family, some members wanted the treasure for themselves, resulting in a horrible scene where most of the family were killed. Despite the pain, Siu Sap Yat Long (Felix Wong)'s father then killed his younger son to ensure that the massacre is not repeated, leaving Siu the only person to know the secret.

Siu becomes unknowingly drawn into three murders in the capital city, becoming the prime suspect. The only person to believe his innocence is Constable Fung Sei Leung (Maggie Siu). Because of their roles, Fung and Siu embark on the chase of cop and robber. The legend has it that the treasure is linked with the Deer Carving Sabre, so prevent the rumours spreading further, Siu steals the sabre. However, he finds that the one he has is a fake, as the real sabre has fallen into the hands of a mysterious person called Siu King Chi (Law Man Chong). Chi then wants to kidnap the "world's most beautiful lady" Shum Bik Kwan. Siu rescues her, whilst searching for the truth and goes on the run with Kwan, falling in love with her despite her being a married woman. Siu finds out that Chi is part of a secret organisation - Tin Chung, headed by the evil and cunning Siu Yiu Hau (Hugo Ng) and involving Kwan's husband Lin Shing Bik (Kwok Yiu Ming). What is more surprising for Siu is that Lin and him have very close relations.

As the pressure starts to build up, Siu has no choice but to take his sabre and cut through all the vengeance and hatred...

willow - if you can point me in the direction of something in Chinese then I can translate it for you. I'm not sure which show you mean as I only get TVB where I am...

I've seen a few of these shows - Treasure Raiders was pretty good, but I found it was too concise. A lot of the details were skimmed over... it would have been a much better job if they'd made it 30 or 40 chapters. Then again, the cast isn't exactly star-studded so they wouldn't invest so much in it.

    Armed Reaction 2

    Armed Reaction 2

Cast: Bobby Au-Yeung, Marco Ngai, Esther Kwan, Eddie Cheung, Joyce Tang, Yiu Ying Ying

Armed reaction officer Chu So Ngo (Esther Kwan) had got married in the last series with Chan Siu Sang (Bobby Au-Yeung) - actually this was all Sang's imagination because Ngo has no confidence in marriage and wants to observe Sang's behaviour for a year before she makes a decision. In work, Ngo becomes a sergeant and is sent to the EU frontline force to use her 'housewife' style to lead a team of butch men. She comes across many unthinkable problems and places her hopes on Sang's promotion to steady their finances and settle for the future.

As Sang is kept in place by Ngo and unable to relax, he meets a pretty neighbour called Shum Kiu (Yiu Ying Ying). Kiu is romantic and independent and gets on very well with Sang. She even tells Sang of her feelings towards him, creating problems in the relationship between Sang and Ngo...

On the other hand, WPC Chan Sam Yuen (Joyce Tang) and Ching Fung (Marco Ngai) get married, but because of their stubborn nature, they are always arguing after their marriage and in work are always clashing. Yuen suddenly decides to apply for a position in the reaction force and after this, the couple see less and less of each other. Feeling lonely, Fung goes to the bar and in a drunken state he has a one night stand with a girl. When Yuen finds out, she angrily separates from Fung. In her battles with Fung, Yuen puts herself in dangerous positions and gets involved in a Taxi Rapist case but she falls into his evil hands...

    Armed Reaction 3
(Canto: Tor Cheung See Jer 3)

Cast: Bobby Au-Yeung, Ada Choi, Marco Ngai, Joyce Tang, Choi Tze Kin, Hong Wah, Ha Yu, Mimi Chu

Chan Sam Yuen (Joyce Tang) is promoted to acting Superintendant and sent to the Traffic Section: as a superior officer for the first time, she is strict and expects much from her team. Because of this, there is friction between Yuen and her colleagues, in particular new officer Wai Ying Chi (Ada Choi). From her father Wai Ying Hung (Ha Yu)'s influence, Chi loves her motorbikes. On one occasion when Yuen and Chi are in pursuit of a motorcycle gang, they are involved in an accident, but thanks to Chi's skill in riding her bike, they catch the motorcycle gang and become good friends and partners.

Yuen is immersed in her work and thus neglects her family and her children. Her husband, CID Superintendant Ching Fung (Marco Ngai) is very understanding to start with, but changes later on and becomes unhappy in the arrangement. As a result the couple separate, but still run into each other at work. Their children become involved in a case where their daughter is held hostage by a criminal. The two must then work together to rescue their beloved little girl.

Chi is accused of speeding on her motorcycle and is sent to the reaction force led by Chan Siu Sang (Bobby Au-Yeung). When Chi and Sang first meet, they are immediately repelled and see each other as an omen: however Sang offers sympathy when Chi is going through a hard time and the two develop a friendship. Hung objects strongly to this relationship and places pressure on the couple...

For a father to bring up four daughters is a tough task for any ordinary person, but for this "Super Dad" it is not a chore at all, actually he finds it is a lot of fun!

Ko Hoi (Paul Chun) lost his wife early on, so he has had to take on the mother's role as well in bringing up his four daughters. They each have their own successes, and the only thing that he worries about in their lives is to marry well.

Eldest daughter, Yuk Yee (Lau Kam Ling) is stubborn and powerful, always nagging at her husband Chun Kit (So Chi Wai) that he has no achievements in life and always threatening divorce. Second daughter Pui Yee (Flora Chan) and her boyfriend Shing Chi (Tsang Wai Kuen) are career orientated and never mention marriage. Third daughter Po Yee (Sonija Kwok) is beautiful and is very selective of her partner and so is still single. Then Po Yee also falls in love with Wah - will the sisters become enemies because of this?

family man sounds funny and it seems as if sonjia is getting roles were she falls in love with her sister's love or something like that cause in the review for famliy man it says that flora likes moses, but then sonjia does too. in where the legend begins she also fell for her sister's husband or whatever. *sonjia didn't actually fall for him, but she wanted revenge or whatever.*
