Episode 14

Que feels guilty for her actions and said sorry for her husband. He drops the knife and she runs up to him. The police took him away while she is crying. Kwong feel sad for the sight. Pang sir notice his behavior. Bo goes back out and she happily reunites with her family. Before Sing is taken away, Que told him that she will go and visit his mother. Kwong greets Pang Sir and Pang sir told him that his sucess is just due to plain luck.

In the hospital, Bo has her injury over look. Kwong and Hoi Yan took Bo up to Fue's area. Just as they are walking over there, peoples are talking about Tung's marriage and his brother affair. Bo is unhappy to hear this and Kwong and Hoi Yan comfort her by telling her to ignore them. The doctor has just barely check up on Fue and told Tung that it is a minor cut and that he should recover. Ling (Fue's wife) is screaming her head off in the hospital. Tung told her to stop her yelling and she told them that she wants nothing to do with the Pang family. She ran out of the hospital. Tung said that he is not willing to help Fue because he is at fault. Kwong walks in at that time and told them that Bo wants to see them. Tung leaves the hospital in anger. At their home, Tung's parents are saying Sing is crazy and that he should be locked up. Tung yelled at them for spoiling Fue. It is Fue's fault for having an affair with someone else wife yet they are helping him. As he rampage, Bo said that she can't handle him any longer. She said that no body likes him and that only mother and father likes him. She touch his nerves when she said that no wonder Jing leaves him. She can't even stand him. They raise up to face each other and Tung angrily told her that he is sending her to England next week. Bo stormes out her the living room.

Kwong and he friends are talking about Pang Sir's case. Kwong told them to not talk about the case. He then divert their attention to dart throwing. They ran into Pang Sir and Kwong notice that Tung is drunk. Tung walks away while Kwong looks worried. Tung is sitting on his car and is about to drive away when Kwong took his key and told him that he will drive him. He told Pang Sir that he is not in the right condition to drive. He drove Tung home and Pang Sir asks him is he hard to work with. Kwong wants to sweet talk him but Pang sir said that he doesn't want to hear this. Kwong said that he is strick but he stops when Pang sir gave him a look. He told Kwong to sit down and He tolds Tung that he don't accept other people's idea. He said that he always thinks that he is right. Kwong said for example, like this negotiation..he uses his own way and he suceed. Pang Sir told him that he is just lucky. He told Kwong that the percentage of sucess is less than one percent. Kwong said that he don't think that he is wrong. Pang Sir then looks at him sternly and said that he could get into trouble for talking like this to his supervisor. Kwong looks nervous and said that Pang Sir is not the kind that held grudges and Pang Sir seriously said that he is but smile like that. Kwong laugh nervously and Pang Sir told him that as long as he is in his team, he will die because he will work him hard. Kwong and Pang sir drinks together.

Hoi Yan is worried about Pang Sir and Kit told her not to worry. Kit said that Pang Sir likes it when people don't talk about his personal stuff. Hoi Yan said that she don't think Pang Sir is that cool. Kit told Hoi Yan that Pang Sir compliments her for yesterday's case. Hoi Yan is happy to hear that and wonders did he mention anything about Kwong. Kit notices that Hoi Yan keeps on mentioning about Kwong. She teases Hoi Yan. Hoi Yan said that Kwong is taking her to the concert tomorrow so Kit took Hoi Yan to a shopping spree. She helps Hoi Yan picks out some clothing to make her look more woman like. Kit suddenly has a call and asks Hoi Yan does she wants to go on a cruise with her. She teases her about Kwong again. Back at Hoi Yan's house, her two sisters is experimenting on Hoi Yan's face. They are helping her put on her make up and Hoi Yan said that she looks like a vampire. Hoi Yan thinks that they are going overboard. Hoi Yan is being practical. On the next day, Hoi Yan dress up nicely and everyone compliments her beauty. One guy is joking that she should be more sexy and she told him to die. Just then, Kwong saw her and said that she looks really beautiful. She is shy. He is leaving early and he said that he will go home to take a shower and then he will come and pick her up. Hoi Yan told him not to and that she will go there on her own. He asks her where does she plans to eat after the concert and she can't think of any place. He said that he knows a place that have good desserts but Hoi Yan thinks it is very far away. Kwong told her that he is borrowing Moe's car so they don't have to worry. He told her that he will see her there.

Moe is dressing up when Kwong asks him can he borrow his car. Moe told Kwong to make good use of this opportunity with Hoi Yan and Kwong told him to not be crazy. Just then, he got a call from Ada. Kwong looks concern and he went into his room to talk to her. Hoi Yan is working hard on her work as she tries to finish it as fast as she can. Her co workers knows that she has a date because she is constantly looking at the time. One of her co worker finally tell her to leave and he will help her finish it. Hoi Yan is happy and leaves. She fixes her make up and egarly goes on with her date. Kwong is talking to Ada as she tells him about her love problem. She has just broke up with her boyfriend and he comforts her. Meanwhile, Hoi Yan is waiting for him at the concert. Kwong continues to talk to Ada and tells her to be optimistics. Night falls fast and he continues to comfort her while Hoi Yan stood there. People goes in to the concert leaving her behind. She wonders why isn't he here. She tries to call Kwong but he doesn't pick it up. She is really worried about him. Moe happens to pass by there with his friend and saw Hoi Yan. He calls Kwong who has just finish his conversation with Ada. He looks worried. He picks it up and he is astonished that he forgot about his meeting with Hoi Yan. He told Moe to help him tell her that he can't make it and that he is sorry. Moe said okay and Kwong is confuse. Moe meet up with Hoi Yan and she is concern that something wrong has happen to Kwong. She is relief to hear that he only has something to do and that is why he cannot come. Moe invites her to dinner. Hoi Yan opens the menu and refuse to order. She told him that she is not really hungry. Moe said that he will represent Kwong for apologizing to her for missing the meeting. He helps her order a set dinner. Hoi Yan is forgiving for Kwong's ditching her. She said that she was just worried about him. She is scared that if she leaves then he will come there so she didn't leave. Moe said that there is so less girls that are so simple as her. Hoi Yan teases him by saying that when people say girls that are simple basically means they are stupid. Moe quickly says that is not what he means and Hoi Yan told him that she is kidding. She asks Moe what happen to Kwong and Moe told her that he don't know. Hoi yan is relief to hear that he is alright. Moe saw her satisfying smile.

Moe goes to see Kwong that night and he saw Kwong eatting noodles. Kwong thanks Moe for his help. Moe said that Ada's call really affects Kwong. He said that Hoi Yan has waited for him for hours. She is just worry about him and she is not even mad. Kwong is sad to hear that. He said that this method of making noodles is taught to him by Ada. Kwong said that he thought he has forgot about his relationship with Ada but he realizes he can't. He said that once he got Ada's call, he forgot about everything. Whe he heard that she was sad, he really wanted to go to LA and be with her. Moe said that does he knows that Hoi Yan is really concern about him. He told Kwong to forget about the past and allow a new relationship to start. Kwong said that he was about to but after he heard Ada's call he don't think so. Ada's call is able to make him forget about other things, therefore, it shows that he still cares a lot about Ada. Moe said that he only cares about Ada because he haven't date for such a long time. He said that from his professional view, he should give Hoi Yan a chance. Kwong thinks it is not fair to Hoi Yan. Moe said that he isn't being fair to Hoi Yan right now either. He could tell Hoi Yan has already like him already. If he doesn't feel anything for Hoi Yan, he should tell her. Kwong thought about this over.

In Hoi Yan's office, they were discussing that Hoi Yan's date is Kwong. When Hoi Yan came in they are teasing her. They keeps on saying that the sun is with her. Just then Kwong came in and heard them teasing her. He is sad to hear it. She went out to see him. He said sorry to her. Hoi Yan forgives him. She said that if he feels bad then he should treats her to lunch. He is upset to see her that happy. He is sitting at the cafeteria deep in thoughts. Hoi Yan came in and asks him why did he got such a huge table. Kwong said it is the right size and she is shock to see her fellow colleagues and Kwong's colleagues joining them to eat. They asks Kwong why did he suddenly invites them and they starts to tease him and Hoi Yan. Kwong publically announced that he and Hoi Yan is not dating. This surprises Hoi Yan but she didn't say anything. He said that if they spread this kind of rumor, Hoi Yan will not be able to find a boyfriend. Hoi Yan is sad to hear this. That night, her sisters and her is discussing about why Kwong will make such an announcement. Hoi Yan is confuse about her relationship with Kwong. Hoi Hay said that he might just thought of her as a friend, but Hoi Oi said that he is just shy. She said that guys don't like to admit they are dating and that is why he did that. She said that guys like to keep their relationship not known. They told Hoi Yan to test him out. Hoi Yan asks Hoi Oi how. They said she should make an opportunity to let Kwong asks her out. The next day, Hoi Yan waited for Kwong and when she saw him walking out of his locker room, she asked him is he leaving. He told her that he has something to do. Hoi Yan looks disappointed. She then wait for him outside the police station. Kwong walks out and find her there. Just then, Hoi Yan's mother call and he heard her telling her mother that she is not going home to eat. He is sad to hear this. He eventually invites to dine with him and she is happy. During they are eating together, Kwong keeps on making excuse when Hoi Yan asks him does he have time to watch a movie. She told him one movie is good to watch. It is about a relationship of a brother and a sister. Kwong thought of something and asks her have she read this story. It is about a guy and a girl. They are good friends but the girl eventually fell in love with the guy. However, the guy though of her as a friend. He wants to tell her that there is nothing between them but he don't know how. Hoi Yan asks him softly how did he solve the problem. Kwong sadly told her that he told the same story that he just told her. Kwong watches anxiously at her expression. Althought Hoi Yan wants to cry she held it in. She gave him a fake smile and told him that there is nothing between them. She told him to not mistake anything. She only thought of him as a friend. Unable to face him any longer, she told him that she is busy and left him. Kwong wants to stop her but he just sat there sadly.

Back at Hoi Yan's home, her mother is eagarly thinking about Hoi Yan and her date. She even thought of the dessert she is going to make on their wedding. Her two sisters thinks that Hoi Yan and Kwong's relationship must be really well because she haven't came home yet. They bet with each other. They bet how long is Hoi Yan going to hide her smile from them. Hoi Hay said three minutes and their mother said two. Hoi Oi said one minutes. Whoever that is the furthest have to wash dishes for one month. Hoi Yan came walking in depress and they eagarly asks her about it. Hoi Yan went into her room and told them that she fail again. They are comforting her about it. Her mother said that it is just Kwong's lost. He doesn't know how good Hoi Yan is. Hoi Yan just don't understand where did she goes wrong. She is sad that other people in the police office knows about it. She just have to pretend that she is fine. She just have to pretend that she is the one that don't want him. The next morning, Kwong is asking Moe is he too straight to Hoi yan. Moe said that he hurts her. Kwong feels guilty for hurting her. He don't want to lose her for a friend. Moe told him to drink a cup of tea. He said that his relationship is like this cup of tea. Putting in water will dilute it. All he need is time. Kwong is still worried about it. He saw Hoi Yan at the elevator and she pretends nothing have happen. She happily tells him that he will be late while Kwong acts uncomfortable. She told him that he still owns her a dinner. He said okay but it. When he left, she is a little bit sad.

Kwong went to see Pang Sir and Pang Sir wants to talk to him about the usage of the third person. He gave him a bunch of files and said that the sucess case is the red files. There is only two red files among all of the files. Kwong is astonished that there is only so less sucess case. Pang Sir told him that he knew Kwong would not believe the fact until he sees it himself. He then tell Kwong to read all of the files. He also tells Kwong that he admit that he has potential and Kwong is happy because he thought Pang Sir is complimenting him. Pang Sir said that he should not be that happy because he still have a long way to go. Just then, Pang sir received a call from his family. They told him that Bo has disappear and Tung is worried because it is almost time for her to get on the plane. He hangs up and Kwong asks him is there anything he could do for him. Tung told him no and dismiss him. He looks worried.

I am sorry to tell everyone of you that I will be updating really slow from now on. School starts for me next week and I will be busy from then on. I will try to finish as much as I can before Monday but I don't expect that I can do much because my family wants to use the television too..hehehe. I will try to update when I have time. Episode 15

Kwong is patrolling with Lung and they are talking about his meeting with Pang Sir. Lung asks Kwong did Pang Sir yelled at him yesterday and Kwong told him that he didn't yell at him. Instead, he compliments him. Lung doesn't believe it because he can't believe that Pang Sir would compliment Kwong on his work. He feels that Pang Sir is very stricts, never admits that he is wrong, and over confidents. He said that Pang Sir is more like the people that likes to yell at people rather than complimenting them. Kwong disagree. He said that to Pang Sir is like a duran. Most people will not like it but to people who understand him, he is not that bad. In fact, Pang Sir is very good to his family and to his follower. He might seems to be strick and unrelentless but in fact, he is just have a high expectation and he wants the best for you. Lung is wondering what kind of medicine Pang Sir have given Kwong to eat because this is the first time Kwong stood up for Pang Sir. They seperate and Kwong went patroling at another area. A man run up to him and told him that there is a girl that wants to commit suicide. Kwong rushed there with that person and saw a woman standing near the ocean. She have drunk some beer already. When she approaches the edge where she stands, Kwong told her to calm down. The girl is actually Bobo and Kwong told her to come down. She came down and they start to talk. Kwong asks her what is she doing over here and she told him that she is just unhappy. When Kwong mentions Tung's name, Bobo became upset and told him not to tell Tung that she is here. She is about to walk away when Kwong stops her and told her that he could bring her to a place that is fun. He said he will bring her to that place once he finish his patrol. Bobo believes him. They went to the place where Kwong likes to race his car and they race for one round. After they play, Bobo and Kwong starts to talk. He asks her what is the problem and she told him that she doesn't want to go to school in Europe. She said that she is not the study type. Kwong asks her what does she wants to do and she told him that she wants to be like him. She wants to be a cop. Kwong asks her have she talks to her Tung about it and she said that she can't even talk to him. Kwong told her if she can't talk to him, then he will. He is a negotiator. Bobo doubts that he can suceed because Pang Sir is Kwong's head and Kwong is just his student. What can he do against a person that have more experience that he does. Kwong said that sometime the master can scrumbled to the student. At Tung's household, Tung, his parents, and his younger brother is praying to their ancestors for Bobo's safety. Tung said that he can't believe Bobo. She is so irresponsible. Just then, he got a call from Kwong. He is shock to hear that Kwong has Bobo. They drove to the scene where Kwong told them to meet. When they arrive there, Pang Sir is angry and starts to call out Kwong's name to know his whereabout. Kwong appears on the other side of a gate (there is a gate that seperate Kwong and Tung's group). Pang Sir asks Kwong where is his sister and Kwong calmly and professionally told Pang Sir that they will have a little negotiation right now. Pang Sir angrily told him that he is not interested in playing with him. Tung's parent pleaded with Kwong to release their daughter. They told him that they will pay him anything. Kwong told them that he is not a terrorist and that he is only trying to help them solve their family problem. Tung angrily banged the gate and told Kwong that he doesn't need his help. Kwong asks Pang Sir to just go through with this negotiation. Kwong dares Pang Sir to accept this negotiation and Tung agree. He wants to see how much Kwong improve. He told Kwong to speak but Kwong told him that he is not the subject. He called Bobo and she came to him. Tung order his father and brother to go get some food for them because this will be a long negotiation. Kwong encourage Bobo to talk and she told Tung that she doesn't want to go to Europe and that she wants to stay here. Tung said that is impossible and no way. Bobo is fustrated and told Kwong that she knew it wouldn't work. Kwong told her to wait. He then told Pang Sir that he made a mistake. A negotiator can never say no to his subject. Pang Sir then said that he wants them to continue on. Bobo then said that she doesn't want to go to school in Europe. Tung said that what else can she do. She said that she wants to stay here to become a police woman. This have always been her dream since she was small. She told him once but he didn't remember. Kwong told Pang sir that Bobo has always admire her brother. Why can't he see this and understand his sister's need. Tung said that she never take thing seriously. And beside, what make her thinks she can make it in the police. He told her no. Unable to proceed on with the negotiation, Bobo turns to leave. She only took a few step when her brother and her father capture her. It seems like they manages to find a way around the gate. They told Bobo that Tung is the one that order them to do that. Tung's younger brother went and opens the gate. Kwong looks on in disbelief as Bobo screams out that she trusted on the wrong person. Tung turns to leave but Kwong said that he can't believe that Pang sir can make such a huge mistake. By dragging Bobo away unwillingly, he is not solving the problem. It is like dragging an suicidal subject from suiciding. He can't believe that he have been a sucessful negotiator for so many years. He starts to suspect that all of the cases he face and he suceeded in must be out of luck because from this negotiation, Kwong to could see that Pang Sir don't even know the basic rules in negotiation. Tung turns around angrily and sternly told Kwong that this game is through. He is about to get into the car but Kwong told him that he is lucky to have so many family memebers sticking with him after so many years. Tung is stunned. Kwong said that by dragging Bobo away, he doesn't solve the problem. He hopes that next time they get a call, the subject will not be his sister. Pang sir glared at Kwong as Kwong looks back at him defiantly. Tung's father is worried and told Tung that Kwong does make some sense. Tung told them to go home. Back at his home, Bobo is about to walk away when Tung stops her. He scold her for making them worried about her. She looks around annoyed and ignores his word. Tung then asks her does she really want to be a police woman. She said yes. Tung said that he will let her try it but if she can't make it, then she will have to go to Europe and go to school there. Bobo said that she will definately make it. She is happy and so is the rest of the family.

Kit and Tung is talking in Tung's office. She came there to give him back the evaluation that they gave to each of the new memebers. Kit happily notices that Tung have complimented Kwong on his ability. She said that is the first time. Smiling, she asks him have he changes his judgement on Kwong because he helps save his family. Pang Sir is smiling too but he told her that Kwong does have some quality. He said that Kwong still lacks experience. Pang Sir said that he will be looking at Kwong from now on. Kit is astonished and said that Kwong will have a bunch of trouble because Pang Sir will be hounding on him. Pang Sir wants to know can he endure and Kit is happy.

Kit then received a call from a guy named Gwong. He called to tell Kit that there is a meeting about the community's relationship with police. He asks her is she interested in attending. Kit said okay. She went there and Hoi Yan is explaining their job. She gave a book to them so that they can always contact them. Kit goes up after Hoi Yan finished her presentation. Mr. Gwong wonders where Mok Sir is. Kit told him that they have already seperated. That shock the man. After that meeting, Hoi Yan went to Kit's house. Hoi Yan said that thinking back to the people's expression when they heard that Kit and Mok Sir is divorce, is quite funny. Kit answers that she is used to it. She then asks Hoi Yan how is her relationship with Kwong. Hoi Yan told her to not mention it because she failed. Kit is surprised and asks her how come. Hoi Yan told her that she don't even know. Maybe she just assumed the wrong thing. She felt embarrass about it. She told Kit not to asks. Kit told her that it is not a big problem in comparison to her. Hoi Yan agrees. Kit told her that old comes and let new thing comes. They cheers to their lost love. Suddenly, Kit has another stomach ache and Hoi Yan tells her to see the doctor and take care of herself.

Joyce, Moe's girlfriend, is dress up nicely to go somewhere. Moe drives up to her and brought some food for her. He is upset that she is dressed up like this. She works as a sociable person. They are responsible for making the company have good relationship. Moe said that she should not have to go to party with other men. Joyce said that it is just regular social and she doesn't want Moe to care about her. She said that she wants some private time. She left Moe in depression. Hoi Yan happens to walk by and saw every thing. He drove her home and she thanks him. He gave her the food he brought for Joyce. Hoi Yan said that she can't eat it all so they ate it together at the park. While they are eating, Moe said that she have low expectation. He said that not a lot of girls could be satisfy with such simple food. Hoi Yan asks him is he kidding. The porriages have abolone in it. She told Moe that he is very caring of his girlfriend. She tries to comfort him by telling him that he should not worry. She said that they just have some little arguement and that after she calms down, then everything will be fine. Moe told her that he thinks she is a really good girl. He said that Kwong doesn't know what he is missing. Hoi Yan said that is alright. However, she still doesn't know what she did wrong. Moe then told her that the reason why Kwong is not with her is because he still likes his old girlfriend Ada. Hoi Yan is sad to hear that.

Moe went home that night Kwong drags him into his room. He is worried that Pang Sir would fired him because of what happen with Bobo. Moe told him to not worried about tomorrow. Kwong is still worried and Moe told him that Pang Sir compliment him on his evaluation. Kwong wants to know more and Moe wants to walk away. Kwong stops him and show him a magazine that have a picture of Joyce kissing another guy. He told him that their grandmother is mad and he is lucky to come home late. Moe said that he have an argument with Joyce. Kwong said that he should clearify the situation with Joyce and Moe said that he can't. When he tried to talk to her, she always said that he is trying to budge into her private life. Kwong said there is a simple way to solve it. He told Moe to break up with her. Moe then asks Kwong can he forget Ada. Kwong said does he have to say such a thing. Moe thinks they are a failure. He also told Kwong that he told Hoi Yan about his relationship with Ada. Kwong is concern abuot Hoi Yan's reaction and Moe told him that she is a little bit sad. He told Kwong to not to worry because Hoi Yan seems to understand. They said good night and Kwong sat there for a while, thinking over what Moe have just told him.

On the next day, Pang Sir gave Kwong a gift. Kwong is cockly and told Pang Sir that he doesn't have to give him a gift. As a junior PNC, he is only doing a job to help his superior. Pang Sir told him that this isn't from him. Bobo just asked him to give it to him. Kwong then happily acknowledge that Pang Sir and his sister's relationship have gotten better. Pang Sir said that he is letting Bobo try to be a cop. If she didn't make it, then that means she wasted one year. If she wasted time, he will blame Kwong for it. Kwong is nervous and said that Bobo is a smart girl and that she can make it. Pang Sir then asks him have he finished looking through all the files that he have give him. Kwong nervously said that he have been busy and then he got another lecture from Pang Sir. Pang Sir told him that people controls the usage of time. He told Kwong to finish those and he went down and grab more files. He placed then in front of a Kwong. He told Kwong that he expects him to finish reading these by their next meeting. He will test him. Kwong looks at the piles of files and said that he don't have time. Pang Sir then asks him in a negotiation, can he tell a suicidal victim that he is very busy right now and that can they die later on. Kwong said no. Pang Sir said that if he can't do it, all he have to do is to go out to the alley and admit that he is a failure. Kaong quickly said that he will go and look it over and Pang Sir said that is a smart move. Kwong is walking out of Pang Sir's office unhappily and ran into Kit. Kit notices his unhappy face and asks him what happen. Kwong asks her does she have a gun. She asks him does he want to shoot Pang Sir. Kwong said that he just don't understand Pang sir. He is not going to school but yet Pang sir expects him to read so much. Kit tooks the file and looks throught them. She happily told Kwong that he don't know what he is holding. Kwong looks at her in wonderment and asks her what it is. She said that these files contains all of the cases that Pang Sir have done and all of his theories. She once asks Pang Sir to borrow it and he refuses to let her. She said that Kwong is lucky that Pang Sir willingly lends it to him. Kwong said really and looks excited to start.

Siu Wing Jea found Kwong sleeping in his department with Pang Sir's files open right before him. She wakes him up and told him that he got a call. Kwong wakes up and went to pick it up. He quickly perks up when he heard Ada's voice from the other end. He is happily smiling when Ada told him that she is planning to come back. He asks her for how long and she said that she don't know. He then asks her does he needs to find an apartment for her and she said yes. He hangs up with her and secretly smiles. Siu Wing Jea saw this and asks him is that his girlfriend. Kwong didn't tell her. She starts to asks him a lot of question and he said that he is busy. Back at Hoi yan's department, they are discussing about Hoi Yan's failure. They feels sorry for Hoi Yan. Hoi Yan over heard their conversation and she feels that she is a failure. She heard that Kwong now has Ada. She goes to her locker room and comfort herself. She said that everyone has lose their love. She said that she should just thinks of it as an experience but she can't just let it go. She got a call from the community center. It seems like Cheun have lock himself in the bathroom. It seems like for these past few days, Cheun have lost his temper and is not doing his job. Hoi Yan went to see him and he is egar to see her. Some one blame him for stealing the toilet paper. He is being too sensitive. Hoi Yan calmly told him to come out so they can talk. Cheun said that all of them are just picking on him. They all tell him to come out and they apologize to him for the misunderstanding. Hoi Yan is worried about him when he didn't answer. He finally came out and she went to talk to him in a office. She told him to sit down. She asks him what happen. He said that they frame him. she said it was a misunderstanding. She asks him did other people offended him. He said that he called her and Kwong but they don't returns his call. She told him that she is busy. He asks her howcome she didn't came here with Kwong and she is upset. She said that she doesn't want to mention Kwong. She then got a call to remind her about the meeting. She wants to leave but Cheun didn't want her to leave. She finally leaves and tell him that she will call him tonight. Cheun is upset at her departure and he quit his job. At his home, his aunt have just lost majong. She said that she have been having bad luck and she just lost three thousand dollars. Her son looks suspicious. She blame Cheun for stealing her money. Cheun came home and she demands him to pay her back. He said he didn't steal it but they keep on hounding on him. His uncle tries to defend him but his aunt keeps on yelling at him. He is pressured so much that he screamed out loud and scared all of them. After he calm down, he told them he didn't steal their money. That night, they are discussing about their moving. His aunt and his cousin wants to leave him behind. His uncle wants to keep him because he is the only son of his brother. However, his aunt and cousin continues to say they don't want him. His uncle finally submit to their wants. Cheun heard their conversation.

Back at the police station, Hoi Yan's colleagues went to the cafeteria to get their food. They teased Kwong and asks him does he have time to pick Ada up. Kwong said that he have already taken a vacation. They said that he should treat them to dinner. Kwong said that he will do it right now. He told them to get a table and that he needs to go up to grab his wallet. He walks out of the cafeteria and saw Hoi Yan. They look at each other uncomfortably. He asks Hoi Yan is she eatting lunch and she said that she is buying something to drink. Just as they pass each other, they got a call from PNC. When they reached to the site, the officer told them that a guy wants to commit suicide. Kwong and Hoi Yan walks up to the guy and to their surprise, it is Cheun. Hoi Yan asks him what is going on. Cheun said that they don't want him so he wants to die. Kwong asks him who is they but quickly notices that "they" refers to his aunts and uncle. Cheun said that they are planning to move and he will have no place to live. Hoi Yan said that he still have them. They are one family. Cheun said that they don't even care about him. He tried contacting them but they don't return his call. Hoi Yan apologizes for what happen yesterday and told him that she was just busy. Kwong said that he was busy too but he have some time to spent with him on Sunday. But Cheun doesn't listen to them. Kwong reminds him of the photo that they took and Cheun took out the photo. Kwong then told him the secret behind their marshmallow trick. Cheun smiles. Kwong and Hoi Yan proceeded to get closer to Cheun. Pang Sir arrives to the scene and asks what is going on. He discover that this site is not able to put up the air mat. Pang Sir went up there.

Episode 16

By the time that Pang Sir have reached up there, Kwong is telling Cheun about his toy race car. He tells Cheun that it is really fun. He said that he will bring Cheun to play. Just then, Pang Sir appears on Cheun's other side. Cheun panics and asks who he is. Kwong quickly said that he is his master. It is Pang Sir that taught him how to drive the car. Pang Sir said that is true. Kwong tells him to come down so that he could teach him how to play it. Kwong told Cheun that it is dangerous to talk up so high. Also, they have been talking for such a long time and he feels a little bit hungry. Cheun heard this and is about to come down but his photo slips out of his hand. He went to grab it but slips. Pang Sir and Hoi Yan watches in shock when Cheun slide down from the building. Kwong tries to grab him but he isn't able to reach him. Cheun fell off the building and he landed on the floor right in front of another negotiator. Everyone rushed to see Cheun. Hoi Yan and Kwong is upset at that sight.

They are in the PNC meeting and he told them that they are gather here to talk about Cheun's case. They need to face this problem together. Moe and Ben is also there. They tell them to express their thoughts so they can over come this problem. Alex, the negotiator that saw Cheun's landing, said that he thoughts that he wasn't fast enough. He feels that if he could just be faster this wouldn't have happen. He said that this is the first time he ever face this event. Pang Sir said that it was an accident. Pang Sir said that when he saw Cheun falls down, he felt sad. He said that they should not blame themself for it because it was an accident. Kwong said that he is the closest to Cheun and if his reflex is only faster, he could have grab him. He promise that he will play with Cheun and protect him. Everytime he closes his eyes, he could see Cheun asking him why he didn't save him. Kit said that he have done all he can. Moe asks Hoi Yan how she feels and she said that she have nothing to say. Moe try to encourage her to speak but Hoi Yan slammed her fist on the table and told them that she feels it is stuffy over here. Kwong looks at her in concern and she walks out of the office with Kit following her. Kit took Hoi Yan by the hand but Hoi Yan shruggs it off. Kit walks back into the meeting room and Pang Sir and Kwong look at her anxiously. They are sad when Kit shook her head about Hoi Yan's condidtion. Ben and Moe gave them some suggestion in how to handle this situation.

Kwong went to see Pang Sir after the meeting and to his surprise, Pang Sir gives another huge pile of files for him to read. He told Kwong that in PNC they will have to face pressure. Kwong admits that is true. Pang Sir then told Kwong to try to talk to Hoi Yan. He said that her mood is not stable. He asks Kwong to try to get her to talk about the situation. Kwong said yes and leaves. Pang Sir is concern about Hoi Yan.

Kwong and Hoi Yan is walking home. He told her a story about himself. He said that he used to be scared of dogs but after his mother slowly adapts him to it, he ends up getting a dog. She continues to walk on like a zombie and Kwong is desperate to have her talk to him. He told her to wait and she continues to walk. He went to buy two ice cream and told her that this ice cream is really good. He stood in front of her and try to distract her by telling her to try it. When he got no reaction, he told her that it is just an accident. Right now, what they should do is to find a way to release the stress. Like doing some thing that they usually cannot do before. Hoi Yan looks at him in disbelief and said that she can't believe him. How can he thought of playing at this time. Cheun died. He is our friend. Don't you have any feelings at all. At some times he is nice to people and at another time, he could be so cold. She really wonders does Kwong ever treats Cheun as his friend. Kwong is stunned. She said that have he ever cared about people that are next to him. Have he ever take things serious before. She walks out on him leaving him in shock. Back at Hoi Yan's home, her two sisters are fighting over the television. They notice that Hoi Yan doesn't looks that good. She sat down and on the television, Hoi Yan saw the news about Cheun. She walks away scared and in confusion. Her family is really worried about her. That night, Kwong is playing games, reading comic, and listening to music. A tear drops from his eyes when he looks over his pictures with Cheun. He is shock at his tears. He sadly look at the pictures and think of Cheun. That night Hoi Yan is sleeping but her dreams are shrouded with nightmares about Cheun. She woke up and tries to go to sleep.

Tung's supervisor tells him that there is an open position for a higher level. He said that there is a person that is competing with him for that position. Tung said that he knows and that person have a good working records. His head said that in comparision to Tung's accomplishment, his work is nothing. However, he have something that Tung don't. He have a good relationship with his family. Tung assures his head that his personal life will not affect his work. His head is pleased to hear that. He gave him a file and told him that no one is able to solve the case. Everyone is worried about this case. He hopes that Tung can solve it. Tung said yes. His team memembers gather together for a meeting and they are discussing about Tung's relentless working method. They thought that Tung will take a vacation due to his problem with his wife but he didn't. In fact, he treats the police as his home and work them like crazy. They said that in the past, he will take some time to be with his wife. However, now he just drowns himself in work. Tung then walks in and told them that this month they will be very busy. He told them that they must solve a rape case. He passes out the file. For the last eleven months, there is three rape case. They all got rape in the daylight. It is at different location but is done in the same method. Three different police department have try to solve it but they weren't. That is why they must solve it. He divided the job and his followers went to work. They are screaming help. One of the worker said that after looking through these files of rape case, he have been dreaming that he got rape. Some said that he didn't have any time to sleep and soem said that they don't have time to even take a shower. However, none of them dare to complain because Tung is still working like crazy. They went down to eat and they are eating rapidly. Kit saw them and saw that one of them is having a stomach ache. She gave her a stomach pills and she went up to see Kit. She talks to Tung about his method. She said that he is working them too hard. He said that if she is willing to help him, she should help him buy some coffee. She did.

Kit went shopping with Hoi Yan. She asks Hoi Yan how come she doesn't returns her call and Hoi Yan said that she is just busy. Kit told her that she can talk to her about anything and Hoi Yan just tells her that she is alright. Just then, Kit got a call from a guy and he asks her does she wants to go BBQ. Kit agrees and Hoi Yan teases her about it. She asks Kit does this guy want to chase after her and Kit happily said that it might be possible. Just then a jacket came floating downward right in front of them. Hoi Yan screams and held on to Kit tightly. Kit asks Hoi Yan what happen and Hoi Yan told her fearfully that someone is commiting suicide. Kit told her that it is just a jacket. Hoi Yan slowly looks at it. The person that drops it apologizes. Kit asks her is she alright. She is concern about Hoi Yan. they went to eat and Kit notice that Hoi Yan is constantly eating headache medicine. She suggested Hoi Yan to see a psychiatrist but she refuses to do so. Hoi Yan said that she will if she doesn't feel right. She saw Kit's food and it have a ketcup on it. She links it with Cheun's blood. She looks away. Kit feels like throwing up and Hoi Yan tells her to go see the doctor. Kit wents to see the doctor and they did a physical exam on her. She is shock to find out that she have been pregnant for three months. She stares out at the park as she thought back about her conversation with her husband. That night, she is not able to sleep. Her father rang her door bell the next morning and he brought her breakfast. She is shock to find out that he knew about her baby. He is mad that they didn't tell him. He is also shock to find out that she and Chung have got a divorce. He wants to call Chung to talk about it but Kit said that they can't be back together. She walks out on her father. Kit goes to work and there is a young teenager that is a prostitude. Her mother came over there and she wonders what she did wrong. The daughter said that she is like this because of her. She said that she wants a father but she doesn't have one. Kit is thoughtful, while her colleagues discuss about their situation. They said that it is hard for a single mother to raise a daughter and Kit thought it over. She told the doctor that she don't want the child. That night, her father called her home. She is there but she didn't pick it up. He left a message to tell her that he is really worried about her. The next day, he went to her office and asks her where she was last night. He asks her did she called Chung. She said that it is none of Chung's business. He said that a couple can talk things over. She said that she can handle the situation. He said that the baby cannot be raise in a single family. Kit said that she won't let it be. He is shock to find out that she is having an abortion. She kicks him out. He ran into Tung and he asks Tung to help him find Chung. Tung said that he can't help him. During their conversation, he revells that Kit is pregnant. Tung is shock. He said that he can't help him and he don't know where is Chung. Tung is upset to hear that she don't want the baby. That day, he went to a eat with Kit. He told her that he ran into her father that day. He then asks Kit does she want an abortion. He told her that no matter how wrong the adults are, it is not the fault of the baby. Kit asks him is he treating her as his subject. Tung just said that he don't want her to do something that she will regret. She said that eventhough if she give birth to the baby, she don't think she will be able to provide him with the care that he wants. She knows because she is raised in a single parent household. The feeling of lost never left her. She don't want the baby to follow her path. Tung said that she have no right to take the baby's life. He said that if she does have an abortion, she is refusing her own reason for being in PNC. He told her that she once said that she wants to be in PNC so that she can save life. He tells her to give some more thoughts into it. She told him that she have already thought of all the things that he said but she doesn't feel confident that she can be able to provide the baby the happiness he deserve. She is determine to get the abortion. Tung wants her to think it over a little bit more but she left him. That morning, she got a call from the hospital to confirm her apointment. She went up to the hospital room and she said sorry to her stomach. She got a call from PNC at that time but she close it.

At the site, Pang Sir meets up with his other group. He tells them that he thinks Kit will not arrive today. However, one of them saw Kit and Pang Sir is happy to see her here. He said that he thought she is not going to come and she said that she still remembers what PNC stands. Hoi Yan arrives to the site but scenes from Cheun's sucide scares her. The woman that is being suicidal is called Fong. She is eating with her father when she got a call from her boy friend. She then went up here to commit suicide. When they reached up there, Kwong is already there. Fong is telling them to go away, while Kwong is trying to hold her father from her. At the same time, he is trying to calm her down. He went to Pang Sir and told him that Fong seems to be repulsive against guys. He also notice that she have took off her shoes. That indicates she is very determine to die. Kit said that she will handle it because Fong doesn't want to talk to guys. Pang Sir asks her is she in the right condition to do this negotiation and Kit said she is fine. Kwong is then the supplier role while Pang sir is the observer. Kit starts to negotiate with the girl and asks her why is she up there. She asks the girl have she got into an arguement with her boy friend. Fong said that her boy friend does not want her. Her father is shouting that if her boyfriend doesn't want her then he wants her. Pang sir tells people to take him away because he is affecting the mood of the subject. Pang Sir then wrote food on the paper. Kit said that Fong must be really hungry so she will try to get some food for her.

News about Update

Okay...uhmm....I am going to update really slow from now on. This is due to some following reason. 1) One of our computer have broke down yesterday and my brother is using the other one to finish his grad application. I won't be able to access the computer for a while 2) My parents also have a bunch of tapes to watch suddenly. Therefore, they stop renting Take My Word For It for the moment, until they have finished the rest of the movies. I will try to borrow them by next weekend.

Also...I will try to update the next five chapters by the end of this week. Sorry for this inconvience and I hope you will bare with it. Thanks.

Episode 17

Pang Sir wrote down food on a piece of paper, and Kit uses that information to negotiate with Fong. She told Fong that she must be hungry and that she will get something for her to eat. Pang Sir then show the paper to Kwong and he understood what he have to do. He ran down the stairs to get Fong her food. He stops suddenly when he spotted Hoi Yan, sitting on the stairs by herself. He approaches her and ask her why didn't she go up there since she is here. Hoi Yan is clutching her head at that time and she slowly releases it. Not able to look him straight at the eye, she told him that she doesn't feel that good. Kwong quickly told her that since she doesn't feel good right now, she should just sit here and rest. He said that he is in hurry because he need to go and get Fong her food. He left her there.

Kit is still negotiating with the subject and she notice that Fong is fiddling with her ring. She asks Fong did Wing, Fong's boyfriend, gave her that ring. Without any reason, Fong yanks off the ring and stood up. She tosses it over the building. Pang Sir and Kit is worried because they are scared that Fong is going to jump. Kit quickly tells her to calm down. Just then Kwong came running up there with the food. He told them that Fong's father said that she loves to eat sasami sushi. Kit took the sushi and told Fong that she got her favorite food. Fong saw the food and feels like throwing up. Kit is concern and asks her is she alright. Kit asks Fong is she pregnant when she saw Fong eating some sour food that she have store in her pocket. Fong cried out loud that Wing doesn't even want her and her baby. He doesn't care about her anymore. She don't have any reason to live. Kit said that she understand the presure to bring up one baby by herself. Fong said that she don't understand. Kit said that she does because she is also going to be a single mother. Kwong is surprise to hear this and Pang Sir is observing Kit. Fong doesn't believe Kit and said that she is only saying this so that she could convince her to come down. Kit then told her that she understand because before she came here, she was at the hospital and is about to perform an abortion. Kwong is shock to hear this and Pang Sir is surprised that Kit will reveal such personal thing. Reporters that are there heard Kit's own testimony and starts to take picture of Kit. Kit is aware of this but she didn't care. She told Fong that as she was lying in the hospital, she is confuse and scared. She don't know is she doing the right thing. At that time, she also felt that her baby is also very scared about her decision. From this feeling, she knows that her baby is living inside her. She don't feel that she have the right to take her baby's life. Just then she got a call from PNC and they tell her that some one is trying to commit suicide. Kit smiles and tell Fong that she is the one who save her baby. If it weren't for her call, her baby would have die. She thanks Fong and approaches her with an outreach hand. She asks Fong to try to feel the baby inside her. It is living and she is responsible for taking care of it. She asks Fong to come down and Fong did. Kwong and Pang Sir were watching Kit's negotiation with great admiration and they are happy when Fong came down. After their negotiation, Pang Sir, Kit, and Kwong are walking out of the building. Pang Sir asks Kwong about Hoi Yan because Kwong told him that Hoi Yan was here. Kwong told Pang Sir that he got a message in his beeper from Hoi Yan and she said that she isn't feeling good so she left early. As they walk back to their car, a flood of reporters starts to hound on Kit. Kwong and Pang Sir protected her and escort her to Pang Sir's car. As she gets in, she felt kind of sick. Kwong notice this and asks her is she alright. He said that she must not have eatten and that is why she felt a little bit sick. He and Pang Sir is about to take her somewhere to eat but Kit reminded Kwong that he have to go back on patrol. With Pang Sir's reassurance that he will take care of Kit, Kwong left them.

Kit is eatting some crackers in her home, when Pang Sir came out of her kitchen with a bowl of noodles. He told her that eatting crackers are not healthy and told her to eat his noodle. Kit did and she said that it is really good. Pang Sir reminded her that his family did own a restuarant. He happily told her that he used to work there when he have time. Kit then said that she must be lucky to have him cook for her. And Pang Sir proudly answer of course. He then told her that he really like the negotiation that she did today. However, she don't need to reveal her personal life into it. Kit said that if it is able to save a person's life, it is worth it. She then told Pang Sir that he usually looks mean but he is actually very nice. Pang Sir said that they have been partner for such a long time and she don't have to say such a thing. They are a dream team and he would help her if she needs his help. He tells her that if she ever have any problem, she can come to him. Everyone is there to support her. Kit happily thanks him and Pang Sir left to go back to work. On the next day, Kit's colleagues are looking through the newspaper. They are worried about her. When Kit came in the office, they tried to hide the newspaper. Kit told them not to worry. She said that she expects that they will write about it when she reveal her personal life. Her colleagues thinks that she is a very strong woman and they said that they will stand by her. Kit is happy to hear this and reminds them that she is a pregnant woman right now. If they want to help her, they will have to help her solve some more cases. Her colleagues said yes and Kit proceeds to her office. Just then, Yut asks Kit will these news affect her work in PNC. Kit is thoughtful about it. That day, Kit goes to see Jeurn Sir. Kit apologizes to Jeurn Sir for giving him so much trouble. Her guilt increases when Jeurn Sir told her that he had been constanly getting phone calls from reporters because they want to do an interview with her. Kit said that she will clearify this matter with her supervisor and Jeurn Sir happily tells her that she don't need to clearify anything with anyone because this is her personal business. He comforts Kit and tells her that she does not need to worry about it. He then told Kit this might actually be a good opportunity. Somehow, during this time, people in society seems to be pestimistic. If Kit is willing, it would be best that if she could try to tell society to be a little bit optimistic with their life. Kit is shock that Jeurn Sir is actually telling her to accepts the interview but she is willing to do it.

In her television interview, her host asks her how come PNC have such a low profile. Kit said that they need to keep a low profile in order to have their case suceed. He then asks her how should people face their life. Kit answers that every situations have a positive and negative aspects. When people face a problem, they tend to think the negative aspect first. Therefore, they tend to think that life have no meaning. However, if they would only take some time and think further, they can see the positive side to the problem and suceed over it. The host then asks her what she will say when she is faced with a sucidal victim. Kit said that she will say four words. "Sung Yow Hall Luern" (There is always something to hope in life). She said that when you are depress, you should think of this word. No matter how bad the situation it, there is always something to live for.

Kwong is in Pang Sir's office and Pang Sir is testing Kwong in the materials that he have given to him. Kwong answers the first question correctly and Pang Sir is satisfy. He then gave Kwong another stack of files and told him to finish them in one week. He will test him at that time. Kwong unhappily called Pang Sir master and told him that the amount of files have increased. Pang Sir then asks him another question and Kwong is not able to remember the answer. This earns him another scolding from Pang Sir. Pang Sir then told him to finish reading it quickly. Kwong grumbles that he will die either he reads them or not. Just then Hoi Yan came into the office and Kwong is about to leave. Pang Sir tells him to stay and asks Hoi Yan did she knows that her sudden departure is going to have a critical effect on the negotiation. Hoi Yan apologizes and told Pang Sir that she wasn't feeling that well on that day. Pang Sir then scold her and said that if every PNC that showed up over there and claim that they are sick, then who will do the negotiation. Hoi Yan apologizes again and requested for a vacation from PNC work. Kwong is shock to hear this. Pang Sir asks her why. He then asks her does it have to deal with Cheun's death. Kwong is concern about her when she didn't answer. Pang Sir then told her that this cannot continue on. If she continues to be like this, she would not be able to function well on her regular work too. He orders her to see a psychiatrist and he told Kwong to take her there. He is concern about Hoi Yan.

Hoi Yan and Moe is talking and Moe asks her why is she here. Hoi Yan said that she have been having headache for these past few days. She can't sleep. Moe asks her when did she started to have these symptoms. Hoi Yan said that she can't remember. Moe then cautiously asked her whether she didn't remember of she don't want to remember. Hoi Yan said that she don't know. She screams out that she don't know, when Moe asks her does it starts with Cheun's death. She stood up and looks really upset but Moe tells her in a soothing voice that he is there to help her. He also tells her that she have to face the problem in order to get back to her life. She sat back down and Moe instructed her to close her eyes and think back to the time of Cheun's death. Hoi Yan closed her eyes and scenes from Cheun's death flashes through her mind. She finally screams when it ends with Cheun's death. She told Moe to not force her anymore and ran out of his office. Kwong is waiting outside and he stood up in hurry when he saw Hoi Yan running pass him, with Moe calling out her name. Kwong calls out her name but she ignores him. He then asks Moe what happen. Moe told Kwong that he underestimated the affect of Cheun's death to Hoi Yan. Kwong asks him what they could do now and Moe sadly told him that what she need right now is immediate treatment. If not, the symptom will become more severe. Kwong is extremely worried to hear this. That night, Hoi Yan screams from her nightmare and woke up her whole family. They gave her some water to drink and Hoi Oi told her that the incident had pass by for a long time and she should forget about it. Hoi Yan told them to not to worry about her. Her mother exclaims that she have to be worried because Hoi Yan is not eating and she is intaking headache medicine like crazy. Hoi Yan reassures them that she is fine and told them to go to sleep because it is so late already. She walks back into her room and Hoi Hay told them that they should not mention this incident infront of Hoi Yan anymore. They just hope that she will get better through time. Hoi Oi also hide all of the things that could remind Hoi Yan of Cheun. On the next day, Kwong walks into the cafeteria and stops by the door. He silently watches Hoi Yan picking up her sandwich and putting it down. He became concern and approaches her when she starts to open the bottle that contains her headache medicine. He grabs it out from her hand and told her that these will not work. If she is sick, she should go and see a doctor. Hoi Yan yells at him and tells him to give her medicine back to her. She snatches it out from his hand. People in the cafeteria look at them. Kwong sat down beside her and asks her why is she so irritable today. He then told her that if she is really sick, she should go to see a doctor. Moe has a free spot open for her. Hoi Yan then told him that she is fine and she don't understand why everyone thinks that she have some problem. Kwong then told her that escaping from the problem will not solve it. Hoi Yan interupts in and angrily tells him that she will take care of herself. Kwong sat there lost in thoughts when Hoi Yan storms out on him. He went to Moe's office and he is telling Moe that he jsut told Hoi Yan to go see the doctor and she already have such a huge reaction. He is concern and asks Moe what can they do. Moe said that he suspected this will happen. He said that now she doesn't even want to go see the doctor. Kwong asks him is there anything that they could do and Moe said that they can't do anything unless she is willing to get treatment. However, Hoi Yan is not willing to do it. Kwong then suggested that Moe should approach Hoi Yan as a friend and treat her in a different location. Moe disagrees because the fact is that Hoi Yan does not want to face the fact. She stills feel guilty about Cheun's death. No matter where is the location is, she will not accept his treatment. Kwong is fustrated and he hopes that Hoi Yan can get better. He really wants to go back on duty with her. He said that he really want to see her happy again. Moe then changes the topic and asks Kwong about Ada. Kwong happily tells him that she is coming back soon. Moe then teased Kwong for finally getting his wish come true. Kwong said that he have waited for her and he deserves it. Moe notices this and realizes that is why Kwong is so worried about Hoi Yan. He wants her to be herself so he won't have to be that guilty when Ada is here. Kwong said he really wants Hoi Yan to be well because he misses her optimistic person.

Hoi Yan is eatting at that park by herself. She ends up closing her lunchbox after a few bites. Moe approaches her and she is nervouse to see him. He talks about the weather and said that he always like these kind of weather. He likese to eat out in these kinds of weather in Canada, while he was attending school. Hoi Yan said that she never gets to eat out in these kind of weather because she always bring her own lunch. She sighs and tells him that since her father have die and she is the older sister, she is responsible for taking care of her family. Her mother cares a lot about them but her health is never that good. That is why the reponsibility always falls on her shoulder. Moe said that who ever that marry her will be very lucky. Hoi Yan smiles. He then asks her have anyone told her that she looks really pretty when she smiles. She then asks him have anyone told him that he is very similar to his third brother. Kwong is watching their conversation in a safe distance. His face fills with concern as Moe tells her of a nice restuarant that is near this place. Hoi Yan asks him does he comes here a lot and Moe said yes. She said no wonder she met him over here. She looks across the park. To Kwong and her horror, a girl is carrying two stuff animal penguins that looks exactly like the one that Cheun gave to her. Scenes from her time with Cheun flashes through her mind as Kwong worrily looks at her. She screams and closes her her eyes. Moe is worried about her and asks her is she alright. Hoi Yan ran off but Kwong caught up to her. He took her by her shoulder and starts to tell her that the incident is not her fault. Hoi Yan tries to get away from his grip but she wasn't able to. As she beggs him not to continue on and tells him that she doesn't want to hear about it, Kwong is telling her that it was all an accident. He forces her to relive back the accident by telling her how they convince Cheun to come down. He told her that Cheun is about to come down but because he went to get back the photo, he sliped. It is not their fault. They have tried their best. It is just an accident. After hearing this, Hoi Yan cried and she sank down on the floor. Kwong wants to comfort her but when Moe shook his head, he stops. They let Hoi Yan cry by herself. That night, Hoi Yan arrives home really late and tierd. She fell asleep quickly. She woke up the next morning and hysterically realizes that she is late. She berated her mother and Hoi Oi for not waking her up, while her mother and Hoi Oi is happily going on with their business. Hoi Yan wonders about their weird behavior and realizes that they intentionally didn't wake her up. She can't believe their action and told them that she have a meeting this morning. Her mother told her that it is Sunday so that she doesn't have to go to work. Hoi Yan calms down after that. Hoi Oi said that it is a wonder that Hoi Yan sleeps so peaceful yesterday night. Hoi Yan is shock to hear this. At Moe's office, Moe is lisening to Hoi Yan's report when Hoi Yan shyly walks into his office. He is happy to see her and told her that she looks lively. She told him after crying in the park, she went home and sleep. She said that she never sleep that peaceful for a long time. Moe asks her does she knows why and she answer tht it might be due to the fact that she might tierd herself out by crying. Moe said that is a fact but the main thing is that by crying, she is expressing herself and allowing herself to face the situation. Hoi Yan then said that she should thank Moe and Kwong for it. Moe said that the person that she should thank is her because she is the one who have the courage to face the problem.

Kit went to the hospital to do her physical check up and she happens to pass by Fong's room. Fong's father is angrily grabbing Wing by his shirt and screaming at him for being so irresponsible. Kit came in and try to calm Fong's father down. Kit scold Wing for leaving his girlfriend and giving up on his son. Wing said that he just can't accept it. Kit asks him what he can't accept. Wing then told them to ask Fong about it and he left. Kit and Fong's father asks her what does Wing mean and Fong finally reveals that she got raped before. Fong's father is upset with this news and is wondering how can this happen. Kit told Fong to tell the police but Fong refuses to do so. However, Kit told her that if she doesn't do it, then they will not catch the suspect. Fong went to the police station with Kit and she wants to leave. However, Kit tells her that she will never face her problem by escaping. Fong told Pang Sir's follower that she was taking a shortcut back to home. The path is usually isolate but it allows her to reach home very quickly. Suddenly a man came out from the road and placed a cloth over her mouth. She felt unconsious but she is able to feel and see a little bit things. She saw the man wearing a sunglasses and cap, therefore, she is not able to identify him. He dragged her to an abandon house and she got raped at there. After getting her report, they took her back to the scene. They told her that it will be hard on her but they wonder can she think back to the scene. Scenes from her rape flashes through her mind and she screams while collapsing down to the floor. She said that she could remember some red dot flashing at her. Pang Sir wonders could it be a video recorder.

Back at Pang Sir's office, they are going over the case. One of his follower told Pang Sir that he have talked to the last two victims and one of them said that she remembers there was a flashing red light too. Pang Sir said that it could possibly be a video camcordor. He asked the others to read out the victims profile again. From those informations, he said that the criminal must really know about the victims living style. It is all done on broad daylight. He told them all to work diligently because he don't want to have another victim.

Kit went to see Wing at his working place and Wing tells her that he is working. However, his manager recognizes Kit from her interviews and allow them to talk for a while. Kit told Wing that Fong have already give a testimony to her rape. She said that she thinks Fong is really brave for facing her problem. Although the rape have hurt her a lot, the thing that hurt her the most is being abandon by her love one. She hopes Wing will be able to think things through. As she stood up to leave, Wing asks her how can she be so brave and tell people her private life. Doesn't she feel embarass? Kit said that she don't care how other people look at her. All she care about is facing herself and doing something that she wouldn't regret. Wing is thoughtful of her word.

Mr. Gwong and his wife is going back to their apartment building. They greated the guard and his wife went to grab the letters. The guard is trying to fix his video recorder and Mr. Gwong said that he can fix it for him. The guard said that he remembers that Gwong is very good with these video aspects. He also said that Gwong is very nice to his wife. Gwong asks the guard for some tape so he could put up a poster for a class he is going to teach in his community center. Kit happens to walk by and greets them. They talk to each other and Gwong asks her is she interested in taking a photography class. She said that she is not and she comments Gwong for helping the community. That night, Gwong is working on the video recorder when his wife tells him that his mother in law is sick. He wants to go see her but his wife reminds him that he have a lot of work to do for his bank. She told him that she can go by herself and reassures him that her mother is only a little bit sick. Gwong went to his study room to work on his bank document but while he is working, he had an head ache. He ate some headache medicine. Instead of going back to work, he went and open a drawer. Taking one tape from his pile, he insert it into his video recorder and played it. It shows Fong being raped by a man. Gwong is excited to watch it.

Pang Sir and his head are discussing about the case and the open position. His head told Pang Sir that he hopes that this case will not affect Pang Sir's record and Pang Sir reassures him that it won't. Back in Pang Sir's department, his colleagues are discussing about the newspaper. Someone manages to dig some old information about Kit's divorcement and Pang Sir's wife infidelity. Pang Sir walks in at that time and they all scatter except one of his colleagues, who didn't notice Pang Sir's excistance. It is until he hit his hand at Pang Sir when he quickly shut up. Pang Sir asks him have he finish his work and told him to go finish it.

Kit is surrounded with reporter and Pang Sir happens to pass by with his car. He stops his car and pushes the reportors away. He took Kit and escort her to his car, while telling the reporters that he have no comment. They drove off and Kit apologizes for what happen in the newspaper. Pang Sir said it is not her fault. He then notice that a car is following them and asks Kit is it the reportor's car. Kit said yes and he tells her to hang on. He starts to drive really fast with the reportors hot on his tail. They drove up next to him and start to flash their camera. Mad at them, Pang Sir presses on to his gas pedel and speed through a yellow light. The reporters were left behind because it turns into a red light. They were relief to shake off the reporters but a man happen to jail walk right in front of them. Pang Sir swerved his car and it ram into a bunch of cardboard box. He asks Kit is she alright and she told him that she don't feel that well. His car was not able to start and he went and called a taxi. He then went to Kit's side and carried her out. By this time, the reporters have caught up to them and starts to flash their camera. Pang Sir screams at them to move away and wonders are they human. He put Kit in the taxi and grabbed one of the reportor's tag. He told them that he is going to file a complaint if something happen to Kit. They drove off.

At the hospital, Tung carries Kit into the office and quickly puts her in the stretchers. He told the doctor she is pregnant. He waited anxiously for the results and is glad to hear that she and the baby is fine. As they pushes Kit to her room, Tung constanly reassure her that everything is fine. That night, Kit wakes up and saw Tung there. Tung apologizes for the accident and Kit said it is not his fault. She thanks him for helping her escape the reportors. Tung said that he is just glad that the baby is alright. Kit agrees. She said that she was so scared that something will happen to the baby. She is willing to give up a few years of her life if only the baby is safe. Kit then said that she don't know will she be able to be a good mother. Pang Sir said that he always believe her to be a strong woman. Kit agrees and said that if she can manages through a divorce, then she can get through anything. Tung said that if she ever have any problem, she can go to him. He will be there to support her and so will everyone. Kit is greatful for his offer.

Hmm, finally finished this series yesterday.

Julian was kinda 'cutie' in his laid back, playful role. And his annoying-chatter- conversation-ist abilities was somehow entertaining. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

I felt sorry for Ellsmere Choi - like, he was kinda a nice guy all around, but as he is not the main star of the show... it was like TVB had to twist him into changing.....opps, should I release spoilers?? Ah I leave it for Locke to continue.

And about Winnie Yeung - well she was just playing a character. Someone had to be bad
and her character was indeed pretty hateful <IMG SRC="smilies/irked.gif" border="0"> . Actually I thought she looked musch better here than all her previous series - kindred spirit, gods of honour <IMG SRC="smilies/nono.gif" border="0">

Oh, and one thing, the ending was kinda rushed or left out. Like what happened to the evil plan that was going on in Cheung Long Supermarket?? Huh, like nothing at all was mentioned <IMG SRC="smilies/noidea.gif" border="0"> about that... and it built it up like was something... <IMG SRC="smilies/yikes.gif" border="0">
