Finally finally I have amassed enough stash of tapes to watch this series and I was glued to the first tape of 4 chapters!!

I just finished watching the first eight chps today and it's quite good, i thought i wouldn't like the whole winnie/moses/kenix/bobby affair, but it's actually quite tolerable and ok, but hopefully the next chps won't bore me with them...my favorite scene so far is when Chilam and Annie are still training and they're partnered up and Chilam keeps blowing faster on the whistle and Annie keeps on running faster and faster to the baby pool!k enough from me, people should definetly rent this, at least for the first few chps!

Yeah...I just finished the eleventh tape (which should be episode twenty-two...) and so far...it is interesting. However, there is something that I think the TVB synopsis is wrong.

Uhm...this might be spoiler so don't read it if you don't want to....sorry. Oh yeah...if anyone of you do not mind...I can try to write the episode's summary...and I will try to write as much as I can for this week because school starts after that. If you don't mind me doing it, I will be glad to do so...however, I only have up to episode twenty-two and is waiting for the others to come (which won't be for another two weeks...).


For one thing...I don't think Chi Lam actually is attracted to Anne at the beginning. In fact, in further episodes...it shows that he have always loved his first love (her name is Ada in the series). That is why he rejected Anne's affection. He 'was' thinking to start a relationship with her when he thought that Ada is happy with her boyfriend (oh yeah...Ada is at Canada..or America). He invited Anne to a concert but he didn't come at the last minute because he received a call from Ada and he spent the whole time talking to her.

btw, since you're way ahead of me, can you be quite honest and tell me if the story actually gets better/ stay the same or does it get dragged down by the whole affair between winnie/moses/kenix? i'm still going to watch it no matter what, but just don't want to get my hopes up too high since i enjoy it a lot now!thanks!

Oh...the story didn't go downward after the affair. I can't say that it gets better...so I will say it stays fairly much the same. The affair was just brushed off very fast...it didn't drag down the story at all. Well...err...that is my opinion though.

Okay...this is my first attempt for an episode synopsis. Tell me whether did I put too much detail or too less....hope you like it though.

Episode 1

In a small run down area of the city, a bunch of people have gather there to protest against their government. It seems like the government wanted to tear down this area. The police was called there to help evacuate the protestors. It quickly became violent, when the protestor ignored the warning to evacuate and started to throw rocks at the policemen. With their shield to defend them and their rods, the policemen quickly apprehended most of the men. The leader of the riot along with his two main follower, capture a pregnant women and dragged her up to the ceiling of a building.

At this time, Pang Gwok Tung was playing golf with his wife. She was complaining about his unpredicatable schedule. Because of his schedule, she wasn't really able to plan anything without being afraid that he will run off in the middle of it. Tung smiled and informed her that he is on call for PNC. Just then, he got a called on his beeper and he have to go.

At the same time, Kit and her fellow policemen are raiding a prostitution joint. They sucessfully apprehended all of the criminal. Just then, Kit got a call from PNC. While she was driving her car to the site, she got a call from Bobby to confirm the time it will take her to get there. She reached there approximately the same time as Tung. He met up with her and with two other negotiators, they divided the job. Tung will be responsible with the negotionation. Kit will be his informer. The rest of the two will provide the supply and investigate the background of the hostage and the protestors.

Tung introduced himself as the negotiator and with their approval, he walked up to the top of the building, where the hostage and the three protestor are located at and attempted to negotiate with them. Kit and the other two negotiator are located at a building that is right across from Tung's building, so that she could see the event and provide Tung with information without being seen. Through their communicator, Kit told Tung that the leader of the protestor is called Ah Lick. In order to ease the tension between them, Tung told Lick he haven't eat since morning and asked him what he wanted to eat. At this time STD unit have arrived at the scene. One of the negotiator got what the protestors wanted and gave them the food. Tung convinced Lick to release the hostage to let her eat. Through her binocular, Kit noticed that Lick is wearing a pant that have Micky Mouse on it. She assumed that Lick might have a daughter. After gathering more information from the people that lived there, they discover that Lick's daughter is in "Wan Yeurn..or Wan Nam." While they were trying to contact the daughter, the hostage (who is pregnant) was accidently pushed off the edge. Although they were able to catch her before she could fall, she remain unconsious. Kit told Tung that STD is here but Tung requested for three minutes before STD make a move to shoot down Lick. Tung try to convince Lick to release the lady or she will die but Lick said that his wife was killed in child birth. He was about to set himself on flame when Tung asked him is he going to leave his daughter. Lick paused and in this time, they were able to find Lick's daughter and broadcasted her voice to Lick. With Tung's persuasive words and his daughter's pleading, Lick stopped his rampage and was apprehended.

In the PNC department, everyone was praising Tung and Kit for their sucessful work. Juern Sir came in and treated them out for lunch for their work. Later on, he held a meeting with his group to talk about the small group that they have in PNC. Although every year they have new recruit, there still isn't a lot of people being added in. Kit claims that it is hard for people to be negotiator while also working on their own position in their police department. Pang Sir (Tung) disagree because he could do it.

Pang Sir's father, Fok Gai, is celebrating his birthday in his restuarant. Their celebration was quickly diminished when Gwok Fue, Tung's elder brother, had borrowed some money from a gang and they came here to get their payment. Just when they were about to wreak things up, Tung came in right on time to stop them and drove them away. Tung then went on a rampage and started to yell at his family. He scolded his mother for not being a good role model to him. After Tung had scold them, his wife, Jing, tell them all to go to dinner, to cool down the tension.

At their home, Jing discover that her husband had brought a running machine for her. Tung said he brought if for her because she always said she wanted to run but he never have time to be with her. Jing looked disappointed but she answered him with thank you.

Chung is sitting in his wife office when he a prostitude came up to him and wanted to pick him up. Kit came in and told Chung that she have some thing to do so that she will be late. Chung agreed that his department (police and citizen relationship) is not as stressful as Kit's department (a department that specify on clearing off all the prostitude place). Chung meet up with Tung in the tennis court and told him that he was late because he lost time. Tung didn't accept his explaination because he knew that Chung is always on time. Tung once again lecture Chung to not be so lenient to his wife.

Meanwhile, Kit and Jing is talking to each other. Jing was complaining that her husband does not understand what she want. Kit, on the other hand, claims that her husband is always nice to her.

Yeurng Kwong is doing his daily patrol. His partner was about to give a person a ticket but Kwong helped that person got out of it. His partner couldn't understand why Kwong would always warn people so they could avoid getting a ticket. They suddenly got a called about a man that wanted to commit suicide. They rushed to the scene and found the man sitting on a rail. They quickly rushed upward. Kwong partner went down from the area because the man threaten to jump downward if they stay there. Tung and Kit abandon their game when they are called to the scene. Kwong is informed that PNC is coming and he was order to keep the guy talking. He discover the man is called Chuen. Chuen felt suicidal because he doesn't have any friend. Kwong said that isn't possible and that all people have friend. After saying this Chuen went a little bit emotional and almost jumped off when Kwong quickly called him friend. Kit and Tung came there in time and Kit wanted to see how it is going to proceed so they didn't interupted Kwong. Kit could hear what Kwong was saying through their communicator. Both Tung and Kit could see that Chuen didn't want to die by noticing how tight he grasp on to the rail. Kwong managed to convinced Chuen to not jumped by telling him a story about Snow White and got Chuen interested by saying that Snow White's step mother is "Bak Guet Jing." He connected it with the Chinese story of "Fung Sun Bong." Kit is impress with Kwon'g talking ability. Chuen couldn't move from his area because his feet felt numb. Kwong walked up to him to get him down but they slipped and they plunged downward. There were saved by an air mat that was located right below them. Afterward, Kit went and congratulate Kwong for saving a person's life. Kwong was sweet talking her by saying how much he admired her ability when he was called away to give a full report about the incident. Tung told Kit he doesn't like the Kwong because all he could do is sweat talk.

Back in his department, Kwong was being praised by his fellow policmen. They were amazed that even Kit, who is famous around the police society for her ability, praised him and told him that he might even get transfer to her department. Kwong said that would be great but well...the time is always so busy so he wouldn't be interested because he need time to play. His fellow policemen could not believe him because most policemen would want to move upward and would be hardworking but Kwong only want to lay back and play. Their conversation quickly turned to the car that Kwong invested. They wanted to see it but before they could make any plan, their head (his leader) came and instead of praising Kwong, he told Kwong that bravery isn't eveything and he wouldn't be sucessful if there wasn't an airmat.

Kwong's policemen were disappointed when they found out that his car is actually a little race car (it is almost like a bumper car). Kwong switched his vacation time with his friend called Duck so he could go to a car race. However, his plan got back fired when his head came in and tell him to go help other department to capture criminals for the whole night before his vacation day, so that he could not go to the stadium early to get a good seat. Tung saw Kwong that night when they were copying down people's id in a party. He saw Kwong signing and frowned at that sight. Kwong met up with Kit and jokingly he claimed that he would be interested in getting into PNC but too bad, he is not in the requirement level. He would really like to follow under Kit. Kit was listening to his word and is happy to heard that because she believe he would make a good negotiator.

In the next day, PNC held a meeting and they started to accept people that are PC level into PNC. Kwong was shocked about the lower level requirement. He of course didn't wanted to go because he wanted to play and didn't want to go to the PNC meeting. He claimed that being a PNC is hard and that the time is unpredicatable. He would rather use those time to play and relax. However, his head came in at that time and forced him to go.

Tung and Kit introducing PNC to everyone that was attending the meeting. Kit said that she once met up with one person that said he wanted to get into PNC but because he was a PC, he wasn't able to get in. Now that PC could get in, aren't he happy now. Her eyes maintain on Kwong and Kwong faked a smile and nodded his head. After the meeting, Kwong tried to sneak away but his head spotted him with Kit. Not wanting to disppoint Kit and unable to come up with any excuse, he was forced to sign the application form.

Episode 2

PNC held another meeting and they were happy to hear that the amount of application has increase by threefold. Tung is not that optimistic because he believe in quality. The tests were divided among psychology and interview. The psychology test consist of 680 questions and Tung was assign to do the interview.

Kwong is stressed out with his application for PNC. He was trying to find a way to get out of it without disappointing Kit. Before he could thought of something, he was assigned on duty for a particular street. He tried to ask for a relocation but his head (superior) refused to let him. On his duty, Kwong was trying to convince his partner to end their patrol early. However, their conversation were interupted when they heard some firecrackers ahead of them. They went to investigate and discovered the firecrackers were used to celebrate a new supermarket opening. Kwong is trying to pull his partner away from the scene but his partner wants to stay there and observes the events. During this time, Kwong waited impatiently and tried to stay inconspicuous, while his partner was telling Kwong about the Yeurng family that is opening the store. The eldest son, Ah Man, has invited two superstars to celebrate the opening but the fans of the two superstars start to fight among each other, thereby, causing a riot. Kwong and his partner rushed inward to stop them and Kwong got injured in that riot when a person stepped on his leg. It was then when people in his department found out that Kwong is the third son of a man that own a rich company called Churn Long.

When Kwong came home, Man blamed him for the incident that happen in the supermarket. His father disagrees with this point but Kwong's grandmother supported Man's view because Kwong is not the biological son of the Yeurng family. That night, Kwong's mother helped him masages his injury and blamed herself for remarrying into this family and caused Kwong so much pain. Kwong comforted his mother and claimed that he wasn't unhappy and he never did blame his mother for her action. His mother was comforted when she noticed that Kwong has an optimistic view in life.

Kit and Jing are excersising in the park and Kit told Jing that the job position that Jing was asking for is open. Jing is able to start working in the community center to teach some little kids some art work.

Tung has helped Gwok Fue to pay for his debt and requested that Gwok Fue would have to pay him back monthly. Back at his family place, Tung is presured to start having a child with Jing because Tung's family wanted to have a grandson.

On their way back home, Tung is looking for a new department and told Jing that they should have a baby. Jing is reluctant but Tung didn't see her reluctancy and is determine to have a baby with her. On the next day, they went to a field to work on the plants that they have grown. Chung and Kit were also there. After gathering the vegetables they have grown, Tung announced that Jing and he would have a baby. Just then Kit and Tung have a called from PNC and have to leave. Chung noticed the sadness in Jing's face after Tung and Kit have left.

Tung and Kit reached to the scene and discover a suicidal woman (Bonnie) has locked herself in her home. She claimed that her husband always neglected her and he doesn't return her call. And because of his actions, she believes that he has another woman outside from his household. Tung is the negotiator and Kit is the informer. During their negotiation, Bonnie told them that her husband even neglected her sick son. Kit and Tung is confused because none of the neighbors have informed them that Bonnie has a son. Kit quickly realized that the son might be a pet because she is allergic to pet. They confirmed this fact when Kit went to the adjacent building and looked into Bonnie's window and found Bonnie holding on to a dog. Putting out some dog food at the front of the door, Tung was able to convince Bonnie to open the door to allow her dog to come out and eat. Bonnie opened the door slightly but the security chain on the door is still being clasped on, disallowing the police to come in. Tung is able to convince Bonnie that her husband might not be cheating and that her husband might just be working hard to provide for her. She finally opened the door and stoped her suicidal attempt.

Jing and Chung is talking at a pier. Jing is complaining that her husband doesn't understand her. Chung asked her whether she had talk to Tung about her problem.

Kit and Tung are talking about the case. Kit felt that no matter what, Bonnie should not try to kill herself. Tung felt sorry for the husband because he was working hard to provide for the family and the wife is not supportive of her husband's action. Kit said that Tung must believed that he understands women and Tung agreeds with this view by using his relationship with his wife as an example. If he didn't understand women, his relationship with Jing wouldn't be this good.

When Kit arrived home, Chung has already cooked their dinner. She asked Chung whether he have time to take a vacation so that she could go to Holland (or Netherland) with him to see some flowers.

Jing and Kit are shopping with each other. In the men's department, Kit is trying to find a tie for her husband. She asked Jing for her opinion becaus her husband seems to only like the ties that Jing picks. When she was paying for the tie, Kit told Jing that the job is almost ready. Jing refused the job because she have to get ready for her pregnancy. Kit notices Jing's reluctancy and after some questioning, Jing told her that she doesn't want to have a baby. That is why she asked Kit to help her find a job. Kit told Jing that she should talk this out with Tung.

Jing is talking to Mary in ICQ that night when Tung arrives home to ask her which apartment that they wanted for their new family. Jing tells him that she doesn't want to have a baby yet. She told him that she felt disconnected from society and she wants to work so she get connected with her society once again. Tung is upset about her decision and asked her to think it over again.

In the next PNC meeting, Tung told Kit that she doesn't want the job offering. Kit immediately noticed that it was Tung who didn't want Jing to work. Tung told Kit that he is happy that she is concern about his wife but he knows what Jing want. He knows that Jing is just like a little girl and all she need is just his guidance.

In the PNC meeting, they also talked about the PNC test. On the first day, they will do interviewing and a impromtu item test. It is to test their patience and endurance. The second day will be the psychology test and the fake negotiation test.

Kwong tries to get out of the PNC test by trying to convice his head that he wants to stay back and help him. However, his head refused and commanded them to go and take the PNC. While Kwong is panicing, his colleagues told him not to worry because a lot of people failed the test and that last year, a CI failed the test. Kwong is happy to hear the news. On the next day, Kwong is riding on the bus and playing a gameboy when Hoi Yan came in the bus and sat next to him. While he is playing on the bus, Hoi Yan is flipping through her notes. She is concentrating so much on her notes that she almost miss her stop. She called out for the bus driver to stop and as he stepped on the brake, her notes went flying out of her hands. Kwong helps her picked up her notes and the both stepped out of the bus. Kwong noticed that Hoi Yan is also trying to get into PNC. They introduced each other and discover that they work in the same area (Yow Ma Day). Because that Kwong has helped her, Hoi Yan is trying to share her notes with Kwong. Kwong refuses her offer and asks her whether she has to be this serious about the test. Hoi Yan told Kwong that she never has any luck with test and that is why she always try to find as much information she can get for the test and try to memorize it. She told Kwong that the most hot topic would be watch for the impromptu test. Kwong wished her luck.

At the interview test, Hoi Yan calmly answered their questions. On Kwong's turn, Kit asked him how he felt after he rescue his Ah Cheun. Kwong sweet talk them by saying his work is nothing compare to PNC because people in PNC gets to help people all the time. It quickly became the impromptu time and Hoi Yan's item is watch. She diligently answered them until she got stuck at one part and forgot her answer. Kwong's topic is tennis shoe and he starts to ramble off. Once his time is up, he left the area. The judges are glad that they have a time limit or else Kwong would never stop talking. From his tennis shoe topic, he was able to connect it with story about the universe. Bobby claims that Kwong can not make it but Kit believes that he could.

Hoi Yan arrives home depress. She told her two sisters and her mother that she failed the test. Hoi Oi, the youngest sister, is not that surprise because Hoi Yan is never lucky when she takes test. Hoi Yan's mother feels that she should work so that Hoi Yan don't need to support their whole family, but Hoi Yan refused because her mother is not healthy.

Back in Hoi Yan's department (the deparment that deal with police and citizen relationship), they were talking how they could help get children off the street. Under Mok Sir's (Chung) guidance, they were determine to help children off the street.

Hoi Yan is walking around the street when she saw a bunch of bullys pushing Cheun around. They claim that Cheun broke their ball and need him to pay. Hoi Yan intercepted them and try to help Cheun. She is pushed to the ground by the bullys. Before things can get out of hand, Kwong and his partner happen stroll around the area and saw them. At the sight of police, the bullys run off with Kwong's partner in hot pursuit. Kwong stopped to help Hoi Yan up and they were both surprise to see each other.

Hmmm...I realized that my wordings and my grammar is off while I am writing these synopsis. I am sorry for it but...I am writing them while watching the movie. I try to make the synopsis as acurate as I can get. Hope you can bare with it. Oh yeah...some of my chinese ping yum is not accurate so I will put the meaning in brackets.

Episode 3

Kwong and Hoi Yan are kind of surprise to see each other. What is more surprising was that when Cheun goes up to Kwong and called him "yun gong" (A word you use to describe someone you are in debt to). Hoi Yun asks Kwong why whould Cheun call him "yun gong," and Cheun told her that Kwong once saved his life. Hoi Yan is ecstatic because she read about that news in the newspaper and she is amazed that the person is actually Kwong. Cheun wants to treat Kwong to lunch but because Kwong is on patrol, he refused.

Kwong met up with Hoi Yan again in the police cafeteria two days later and they were talking when Cheun came up to them. Hoi Yan left and Kwong asks Cheun why did he come her. Cheun told Kwong that he came here to treat Kwong to lunch and Kwong accepted it. He ends up treating him to a plate full of rice and some brown stuff. Kwong looks at the plate of food in disbelief. Cheun saw Kwong staring at the food and asked him what is the matter. He replies back he is thirsty and Cheun gives him a cup of water. When Kwong didn't eat, Cheun started to get depress and thought that Kwong looks down on him. His depression was soon forgotten when he found out that Kwong wasn't looking down on him. Cheun even called Kwong big brother eventhough Kwong doesn't want to be his big brother.

Kwong and his partner are patroling the street when Cheun comes running up to them and hand Kwong a fruit cocktail. Cheun told Kwong he made it because he remember that Kwong told him that he likes to drink it. Kwong didn't drink it because he is on duty. Ah Cheun then goes away. After walking for a while, Kwong and his partner runs up to Cheun again. Cheun this time brought a towel to help Kwong wipe his sweat. Kwong told Cheun to go back home because he is affecting their work. Instead of going away, Cheun followed them from behind, causing Kwong to tell Cheun to go back home. Cheun thought that Kwong told him to wait for him in the police station.

After their patrol, Kwong is fustrated, while his colleagues are laughing about his new shadow. Kwong is asking them how he could shake off Ah Cheun and before he knows it, Ah Cheun came seeking for him with a box in his hand. He opens the box to introduce Kwong to his friend. In the box is actually a frog and it escaped in the office and caused a havoc. It happen to lands on Kwong's supervisor and Kwong is scolded by his supervisor. Kwong told Cheun to leave the office area and Cheun thought Kwong told him to wait for him outside. Kwong is fustrated with the situation. In order to shake Cheun off, Kwong and his collegues left at the back door. Cheun is waiting outside when Hoi Yan came out. She asks him why he is there and he told her that he is waiting for Kwong. Hoi Yan told him that Kwong had left a long time ago and that he is at Sing Sing Bar with his collegues.

Kwong is playing darts with is friends and lost. He is asking his friend could they come up with any plan to escape the retarded Cheun. Cheun and Hoi Yan happen to hear all of his word. In anger, Cheun ran out of the bar with Hoi Yan in hot pursuit. After some persuation, Kwong went after them. By the time that he reach to them, he saw Cheun ready to jump out to the ocean with Hoi Yan trying to convince him to move away. Kwong tried to stop Cheun from jumping into the ocean but he accidently called Cheun retarded. In anger, Cheun jumped into the ocean. Hoi Yan is about to go after Cheun when she remembers that she doesn't know how to swim. Kwong got up the rail and as he prepare to jump, he is wondering whether his watch is waterproof and whether the ocean water is going to distroy his new pants. As he stood there pondering, Hoi Yan finally asked him could he jump now. Kwong jumped into the water and manages to save Cheun.

In the hospital, Hoi Yan and Kwong is waiting to see how Cheun is doing. Cheun has to stay in the hospital because his mood is unstable. Kwong only said one word and Cheun told him to go away. Kwong immediately goes away. Hoi Yan is left to comfort Cheun. Cheun said he feel suicidal because no one cares about him. Hoi Yan said that she cares about him and that she will be his friend. Cheun is happy to hear that.

Hoi Yan saw Kwong talking in the phone and she is upset to see that he is happy to get rid of Cheun. She called him cold blooded and hoped that he couldn't make into PNC. Kwong said he hope her wish would come true and Hoi Yan is left wondering what kind of person is he.

Tung took his wife to the place where he propose to her. He gave her a necklace inorder to convince her to bear a child with him. He spend the day with her in a romantic hotel.

On the next day, Chung and Tung is playing tennis and Tung is winning. Chung asks Tung to call out their wives and Tung said that they shouldn't call Jing because she is going to stay home to bear child. Tung asks Chung when is he going to have a child with Kit. Chung said not now but Tung knew that Chung has always wanted a child and only Kit is the one who isn't ready.

Tung went back home and Jing is cooking for him. Her face sadden when Tung told her that he brought her some nutrients so they could have a healthy baby. Her phone rang and Tung went to pick it up for her. In her bag, he found some birth control pills. He asks Jing why is she still taking it and she told him that she does not want to have a child yet. Tung asks her why didn't she told him and she said that she did but he just won't listen to her. Tung then get a call from PNC and before he left, Jing asks him how would he feel if he arrive to the scene one day and found out that the suicidal victim is his wife. Without another word, Tung went to the scene and arrives too late. Antother negotiator is already there but he also arrives too late. Looking at the dead woman, Tung wonder how he will feel if this was his wife. He went back home and find Jing typing to Mary. He try to talk to Jing and asks her does she really don't want a children. Jing said yes but would he listen to her. She walks away from him and left him standing there deep in thought.

Kwong is in the police cafeteria with Gui Suk (a fellow colleague) and he paid back the two tousand dollars that Gui Suk has lent to him. Gui Suk ask Kwong about his PNC test and Kwong happily informed him that he did really bad and he knows he could not make it. Gui Suk thinks he is insane for not wanting to make it. Hoi Yan came walking up to Kwong and told him that Cheun's family is not willing to pick him up from the hospital so she is taking Kwong to help pick up Cheun.

Cheun is happy to see Hoi Yan and Kwong appologizes to Cheun about what happen. In Cheun's house, his uncle is worried about Cheun. His aunt is abusive to him and she loves to gamble. She yelled at Cheun for saying that he is useless. Hoi Yan and Kwong saw Cheun's room and found it stuff with things. He only has a little sleeping area. Hoi Yan felt that his aunt and uncle is cruel but Cheun, his aunt and uncle is the only relatives he has and he loves them. Hoi Yan gave Cheun her phone number so that when Cheun has any problem, he can call her.

Back at Hoi Yan's home, her mother and her sisters is rehersing the negotiation test with her mother being a suicidal person. Hoi Yan is doing the negotiation but the rehersal fail miserably because her mother is too easy to convince. Her sisters and mother sigh when Hoi Yan is hyped up about their rehersal. She even downloaded a bunch of psychological test.

In the PNC area, Juern Sir and Ben(the psychologist) is talking about the PNC test. Ben introduced Moe aka Jacky. Moe is explaining about the test when the secretary phone rang. During the meeting, Moe is observing the secretary. He called out her name and asked her is there any problem. She quickly told them that some problem has come up in her household and she need to leave. Juern Sir said that Moe has a great observation. Moe said that by her gesture and her facial expression, he could tell that she is not paying attention and that she is worried about something.

Kwong and Moe went on a race with their toy race car and as they talked, Kwong tried to get some information about the psychology test for PNC. Moe calls Kwong third brother and he said that he could not tell Kwong about the test. Kwong wanted to use the excuse that they are related and that Moe is responsible for the test so..he could not take the test but Moe dismisses his excuse by saying that relatives are constantly working together. Moe warns Kwong that it is very accurate and that if Kwong has the quality to be a negotiator, he could get in there.

Moe and Kwong came home and their grandmother is happy to see Moe. She asks him what he wants to eat and when she lost her earing she told Moe to not look for it, while Kwong is looking for it. Kwong gave it to her and when she remembers that Moe likes to eat duck, Kwong volunteer to go buy it. With a nod on her head, Kwong went and buy it.

Tung and Jing is eating over at Kit and Chung's house. Kit and Chung can feel something is not right with Tung and Jing's behaviors. When Kit and Chung asks them to come to the field with them on Sunday, Tung said he that he might not make it and Jing said that if he can't they can go without him. Kit then goes into the kitchen and talk to Jing while Chung and Tung talk to each other on the balcony. Jing said that Tung doesn't listen to her and that he always make the decision without consulting her. Chung is talking to Tung and Tung don't understand why Jing doesn't want to have children since she wanted when they first got marry. However, Chung said that people change through time. She might want to have a kid at the beginning but it doesn't mean that she wants one right now. He should try to look at the event through Jing's point of view. With these thoughts in their mind, Tung asks Jing does she really want to work. Jing answer yes but would he really care. Tung told her that they could postpond their baby plan for one year and at this time, she can go and find a job. Jing is happy to hear this.

The the police training school, Hoi Yan and Kwong went to take their second half of their PNC test. Hoi Yan's things dropped down on the floor and she is upset to see Kwong stepping on it. On the first part of the test, they have to answer 650 questions. Kwong is sleeping and Hoi Yan has two more questions to finish when the times was up. For the second half, people are trying to negotiate with PNC people in a mock negotiation trial. Kwong is suppose to pair up with another person but that person has a stomach ache, thereby causing Hoi Yan to be paired up with him. They have to convince a suicidal person from jumping and Kwong promise Hoi Yan he will not talk the whole time. While Hoi Yan is talking to the person, Kwong observes the victim and started tell her that the victim is sighing and shakes his head. Hoi Yan uses these information to proceed with the negotiation. Kwong notice a pink letter in the pocket of the victim and he told Hoi Yan that it might be a lover's letter. Hoi Yan uses that knowledge to try to convince the victim to come down. Through their teamwork, they are able to convince the person to come down. After the test, Kwong said that he gave her the opertunity to show her best and Hoi Yan said that she could do better if he wasn't playing around. Kwong thinks she is hard to serve.

Hoi Yan came walking in home and her sisters and mother is worried because she didn't say anything. They rushed into her room and try to comfort her. They were surprise to hear that she did okay on her tests.

Hoi Yan and her fellow colleague went to a community center to visit some of the people that they help to keep off the street. Hoi Yan discover that the community center's cleaning lady has left. While she went shopping for some toilet paper, she saw Cheun and he is looking for a job. She introduced him to the job. The manager of the community center likes Cheun because he is very naive and pure of heart. Hoi Yan encourage Cheun and tell him to work hard on his job.

PNC has finally put out their results and Hoi Yan is standing near the board but not willing to look at it. Kwong happens to walk by and his friend Gui Suk told him the results is in. Kwong happily said that it is none of his business because he is sure he didn't make it. He saw Hoi Yan standing near a pole and asks her what is she don't over there. He quickly realizes that she is scare to look at the result and he went to look it up for her. Hoi Yan looks at him eagarly and is disappointed when he shook his head. However, it is quickly forgotten when Kwong said that he is just joking with her and that her name is there. Hoi Yan ran up there happily and is glad to see her name. Before Kwong can walk away, Hoi Yan scream out "no way" and quickly turned to look at Kwong. Kwong turned around and his cup of coffee fell from his hand when he look at the result. He claims they got to be kidding when he saw his name in there. He weakly stood there in disbelief.

Episode 4

After getting the result, Kwong went storming into Moe's office. He is scaring the secretary when Moe come out and get him. He sat there stun, while Moe is calmly telling Kwong that he could tell him how he passed his pscychology test. Kwong don't understand because he only answer it randomly. Moe said that is what he wanted people to do. By answering the question randomly, they can tell what kind of personality the person actually has. The more random you are, the higher your score. Kwong cried out in agony, while Moe calmly told him that he knew that Kwong would pass it. Kwong could not believe that Moe didn't warn him about it. Moe just told him to accept the fact. By the end of their conversation, Kwong is banging his head on the sofa.

Kwong goes back to his police station in shock as his colleagues talked about the PNC test. Some of them couldn't understand how come they didn't make it into the training school. Kwong told them that other tests is not important...it is only the psychology test that is the most important. It is use to check whether you are normal with straight mind. His other colleague disapprove of the fact that the psychology test would be the most important and that the other tests should count too. They wants to ask Kit and Tung about it. They manages to run up to Kit but before they can asks her any question, they have to rush off to work. Kwong stay behind to talk to Kit. She said he must be excited to make it into PNC. Kwong said he is but he doesn't understand how he could make it with such poor performance. Kit disagree because she thinks his performance is fairly good especially the negotiation part. Kwong quickly said that he doesn't understand that part because he didn't even talk the whole time. However, Kit told him that eventhough he wasn't the one who was negotiating with the suicidal victim, he was providing Hoi Yan with details. It is due to his information that Hoi Yan is able to proceed with her negotiation and sucessfully convince the victim to come down. Unconsiously he had played the role of the observer. Kwong gave her a sheepish grin. When she is gone, he groaned out loud and asked what the heck is an observer (planner)!

Kit went to see her husband and found him preparing a banner for a celebration in one of the community center. As they proceeded out of the department, they saw a rioting group in the television. An elderly man is protesting and he got pushed to the ground. Kit and Chung rushed to the hospital. The asked for Gan Churn. The nurse told them and Kit hesitated to go see that man. However, they heard him complaining about pain when a woman doctor try to inject some medicine on his arm. He complains about her and said she doesn't know what she is doing. He requested for a male doctor. Right there, Kit came walking in and said that he is just bias against woman. She then told the woman doctor to inject him with the medicine before she walk away. Chung tries to stop her but he quickly turned back to his father in law. Chung stay there with his father in law and try to tell him that Kit really cares about him. Churn said that he knows his daughter's personality and that they are always arguing with each other. Chung goes home and Kit asks him about her father. Chung try to tell Kit to talk to her father but Kit said that her father is just bias to male and that she can never talk to him. Just then, Chung's email rang and he got an ICQ from Mary.

Jing is typing in her computer to Mary and Tung came walking in. She asks Tung whether he has any free time so they can go out to the sea but Tung said he need to start training the new PNC students. In order to make her happy, he brought Jing a purse. Jing looks at it after Tung is gone. She type to Mary and tell her that Tung has forgotten that he once brought her the same kind of purse.

In Hoi Yan's house, her mother and sisters are helpling her pack her bags to PTS (Police Training School). Her mother try to convince her to bring more cloting but Hoi Yan rather use those spaces in her bag to put her notes and tape recorder in there. She gather a lot of tapes to record all of her lectures. Before she left, she asked them whether they have already started a betting on whether she can make it or not.

Kwong arrive to PTS with Moe. Moe is wondering why Kwong is so relax. It is because Kwong realizes he have to come here he will just think of it as a vacation. He will just not have to pass the final test because the final test is the most important test. Kwong is talking to his friend in a cellphone and his friend asks him whether he could play soccer. Unknowingly, Hoi Yan is behind him and he turned around and kick her bag right out of her hand. His quickly hang up and helped her pick up her stuff. His gameboy dropped out of his backpack. Pang Sir (Tung) happen to pass by and saw the game boy. Kwong tries to sweat talk him but Pang Sir didn't accept it.

The opening ceremony begin and they introduces what kind of qualities they need. While Jeurn Sir is asking if anyone want to leave, Kwong wants to leave but he saw Kit looking at him. He therefore, sat back down on his seat. Pang Sir is called up to the stage to introduce the course. He introduces himself as the team A of PNC. After the opening ceremony, they were given their living quarter. They will live there for the whole week with only Saturday and Sunday off. Kwong is paired with Ma Ding Yut (a follower of Madam Kit). Hoi Yan is paired up with a fellow colleague of Kwong. They have fifteen minutes to change into their outfit before they meet in class. Hoi Yan is trying out her tape recorder and found it unable to work. It seems like it broke due to the incident with Kwong.

At the class room, the PNC teacher is giving them a history lecture and each different position duties. Kwong draws some eyeballs on his eyelids while he falls asleep. The positiion is divided into this: 1) Negotiator: He is use to negotiate to the victim. 2) Supervisor: He divide the job. 3)Planner: this person is responsible for the informing the negotiator about new finding and is responsible to make the negotiation sucessful 4) The Informer: his position is the find the information of the hostage and the criminal. 5) the last position is the supplier: he is responsible for supplying the things that the criminal or victims want.

At their cafeteria, Hoi Yan is diligently looking through her notes while eating. Kwong is relaxed and tell Hoi Yan to relax. Ma Tai (a PNC head) came in to give them each a beeper. As they eat, their beeper rang and they all ran out there. Hoi Yan is running but she banged her feet on the table. She stumbled out to the front yard. Kwong looked at them in shock and said they should at least have enough time to eat. They ran out there and managed to gather there in two and something minutes. Pang Sir tested their time and tell them that is fairly good for beginner.

That night Kwong is playing with his gameboy, while Hoi Yan fell asleep as she study her notes. Suddenly someone called out for help. Some of them found a person sitting at the top of a rail and is going to jump. Kwong is wondering can so much things happen in one day. They all try to convince the guy from jumping as he claims he want to die due to his poor score. They try all kind of attempt to bring him down. Before he jumped, he asked what time it is. Kwong told him and he jumped. They discover that it is a fake and that it is Pang Sir that told him to do it. After that, Pang Sir started to yelled at them. Kit said that they forgot 1) they forgot they should split up their job. She told Hoi Yan that she should not say any unnecessary things because it can confuse the victim. 2) You should not go near the victim. Pang Sir said that the person who made the worst mistake is Kwong because he tell the victim what time it is. Negotiator never tell the time because it allow the victim to be assertive at what time they want to die.

Chung is delivering a present to Churn (Kit's father) for his birthday. He wanted to set up Kit with her father. Chung is hoping that Kit can celebrate her father's birthday on Saturday. But she refused because she has something to do in PNC that day. Therefore Chung went to Tung and asked him can he replace Kit position. Tung notice that Chung wanted to help Kit's relationship with her father so he accepted it. Kit came out of the police station and Chung is waiting for her. He took her to Churn's house to celebrate his birthday. Kit walks in there and asks him how is Churn's leg. Chung went into the kitchen to cook, while Kit is left with her father. She went to her mother's death plate and reflected the time when her mother die, while trying to give birth to her husband. Her husband wanted to have a son that is why his mother has die in child birth. During their conversation, her father is telling her that she should take more time with her husband and that she should give birth to a son. Kit is anger that he care about son only and walked out. Chung chased after her and she argued with him. She said that he should not care about her relationship with her father.

Kit goes back to her office and Tung is there working late. Chung and Jing are in a bar and Chung is depress because he felt he is a fool for trying to help Kit and her father. Neither one of them appreciate his work. He told Jing that he didn't want to go home and he wants to go to Mary's house. Kit try to call her husband but she wasn't able to reach him. In Mary's house, Chung is seen with another woman. Her face is unknown. In the next morning, Chung is waiting for his wife. Kit came walking out and apologizes to Chung about her behavior. Chung told her that the weather said it will be cold so he came there intentionally to gave her a jacket. He is very attentive to her as they ate breakfast together. Kit told Chung that she knows that he is worried about her and her father's relationship but this problem has existed for so long. She don't want him to worry about it. She told him that she is just happy that he is worried about her.
