Episode 5

Chung is taking Kit back home and Kit is telling him not to sent her back home because he has to go to a celebration. Kit asked him howcome he is so good to her. She asked him did he do something wrong. Chung looked stun but Kit is only kidding.

It is night time and Kwong is watching a horror story while everyone is asleep. He heard a knocking at his door and he became a little bit scared. He called Yut to open the door. It is actually Hoi Yan at the door. Kwong claims that she is trying to scare him to death for coming so late. Hoi Yan ignored this comment and tell Kwong to fix her tape recorder because he broke it. She said that she need it inorder to jolt down some notes and she need it by tommorrow. Kwong told her leave because she is bothering him from watching his DVD. She ends up saying that it is already that late and he is watching DVD at this time. They continue to argue until Yut told them to go outside to talk because they are disturbing his sleep. They went into a room and Kwong end up helping her fix her tape recorder. He had been working on it for a while and Hoi Yan is trying to tell him how important that tape recorder is to her. She has always done bad in school because she is not able to jolt notes fast enough. Without this tape recorder, she is sure that she will fail. Kwong said that he is done fixing it but as he picked it up, he forgot to tighten up the screws. Hoi Yan looks at him in panic when her tape recorder falls apart. Kwong told her to not worry because all he need to is tighten up the screw. The bad thing is that one of the screw is missing. Hoi Yan is mad at him for wreaking her tape recorder and she demands him to help her jolt down the notes for any future lectures. On the next day, the students beeper went off and they ran to the front yard as fast as they can. Pang Sir and Kit is already there to time them. Pang Sir said that there is an improvement. They are faster by ten second. He claims that within these two weeks they will be in a devil kind of training. It is use to test their endurance. He gave them a few minutes to get ready before they assemble in their clas room. Hoi Yan walked away when he dismiss them and is streaching herself when she ran into Moe. Embarrass because she yawn and streatched infront of him, she walked away. In the class room, Hoi Yan gave Kwong some paper and a pencil to tell him to help her jolt down the notes. Kwong is reluctant and tried to get out of it by saying his right wrist didn't feel that good. However he quickly forgot that idea when Hoi Yan asked him does she need to ask Kit to give him a vacation. She told him that it will be good for him because he would actually be paying attention in class. Class starts and Moe and his teacher (Ben) came strolling into the classroom. They are going to lecture the class about psychology today. Ben started the class with a simple question: I came here and saw a car park outside on the street. Why is it park there? People gave different answers. Hoi Yan said that the owner of the car might hit someone and he ran off inorder to not be discover. Kwong thinks that the person might went to the bathroom. Ben's question is to show that different peoples could view a similar situtation in different perspective. This is what psychology is. As they lecture, Hoi Yan turned around and jolted Kwong's desk to tell him to take down notes. Kwong happily stop writing when Moe told the student they are going to do an exercise. He told them to each write on a piece of paper a name that they want to work with and a name that they don't want to work with. After that, they gather outside for the experiment. Hoi Yan looks tense and Kwong reassure her that there is no way he is going to be paired up with her. They think Moe must got to be kidding when they found out that they were paired up together. Moe told them that he intentionally paired up the people that they don't want to work with because when you are in PNC, there are situation where you will have to work in unwilling condition. Kwong asked Hoi Yan that she wouldn't mind and she quickly answered him back, what does he think. The experiment consisted with one of the partner will wear a blind fold whereas the other will blow a whistle to guide his partner. They will have to get through a obsticle course without conversation. The blind folded partner will have to trust on their partner. The first pair did horribily when the girl, who was blowing the whistle, lead her partner right straight to a wall. Kwong is laughing at their mistake while Hoi Yan looks at him in disbelief. Pak Sir and Kit is taking down these test and grading them. The second pair was doing well when the partner that is blowing the whistle suddenly got into a coughing fit. Because of this, he start blowing the whistle in a crazy pattern, causing his partner to be confused and fell of the balance beam. Kwong is laughing at the results. He and Hoi Yan wanted to plan their signs but Pak Sir told them to be quiet. When it is their turn, Kwong is about to put on the blind fold when Moe told Hoi Yan to put on the blind fold and Kwong to blow the whistle. They stared at him in disbelief. Kwong and Hoi Yan are doing perfectly when they reached to a obsticle where she have to manuver across the orange cone and avoid a pool of water. To make her move left, Kwong went to her left and blow a long note. Hoi Yan stepped to the right instead. Kwong thought she must be dumb that she couldn't figure out she is suppose to go left because he is blowing at her left. So Kwong move to her right and blow a long note so that she will move left. Hoi Yan move to the right instead. Therefore she ram into him. She asked him what is he doing and headed straight by herself. Kwong shook his head and thought that she definately don't have any sense of direction. As he thought to himself, he neglected to watch Hoi Yan. When he turned back, he found her heading straigh to the pool of water. In panic, he started to blow the whistle faster. Hoi Yan is wondering why did he blew it that fast and thought that he is telling her to run. Kwong saw her running and he started to blow faster. However, Hoi Yan ran straight into the pool of water and is soak. Kit and Pang Sir shook their head at the result. Hoi Yan angrily yanked off her blind fold and screamed out Kwong's name. Kwong shrugged his shoulder and sheepisly smiled at her. After the experiment, Kwong is hanging out with his friend when Hoi Yan came bursting in and asked Kwong what the heck was he doing. Kwong said that it is not his fault. He told her that he was just trying to find the most simple way to tell her which way to go but she mistake his meaning. He tried to warn her about the pool of water but the faster he blow, the faster she run. Before he knows it, she ran right into the pool of water. Hoi Yan is mad at him for what happen, especially when this experiment counts. It affected her grade. Kwong told her to not worry and before she can pour her wrath at him any longer, Kwong and his friends walk away to eat lunch.

Kwong saw Moe sitting on one of the table and approached him. Kwong is asking what kind of experiment that Moe is conducting because he put two people that dislike each other. Moe jokingly said that Kwong should not be worried because the person that got wet today wasn't him. Kwong told Moe that this wouldn't have happen if...but Moe interupted him and claim he will not tell him about any future test. He told Kwong to take things seriously because Kwong told Moe that he need to play in order to relax and release stress. Hoi Yan and her friend came walking in and heard Moe calling Kwong third brother. Kwong asked Moe to have lunch with him but Moe has already agree to eat lunch with Pang Sir and the others. As Kwong went to the restroom, Hoi Yan thought that Kwong and Moe don't look the same. Her friend, which is a colleague of Kwong's police department, told her that there is a lot of thing she would not know about Kwong. She have been on patrol with Kwong for such a long time and she never did know that he is the son of a rich man. Hoi Yan is surprise to hear this because Kwong is always saying he don't have money and he refused to pay Hoi Yan's tape recorder by saying he didn't have enought money. Her friend told her to not believe him because he always jokes around.

Jing came back home and she is coughing. Tung is heading out to meet up with his old PNC friends and told Jing to not wait for him. Jing looked sad. At the bar, Tung is happily entertaining his old PNC friends with Chung sitting there in silence. Chung feels uncomfortable with the crowd and left them to sat on a booth on his own. Tung walked up to Chung and asked him why did he left. Chung told him that he is not able to socialize with them. He then recieved a call and when he hanged up, Tung asked him is it Kit. Chung said yes, and Tung intentionally left the group to drive Chung back to his home. He dropped of Chung and told them that he have to go back to the police station to work. As he drove off, he saw Chung getting on to a taxi.

On the next day, Tung, Chung, Kit, and Jing are playing tennis. Tung lost the match and Kit told him that since he knew he is going to play with them today, he shouldn't have drank with Chung the whole night. Tung told Kit that they came home very early but Kit told him that they came back almost at day break. Tung noticed something is wrong and quickly say that he forgot that he actually drank with Chung the whole night. In their locker room, Tung asked Chung to talk to him. He asked Chung is he hiding something from his wife. He find out that Chung is having an affair. Chung said that he knew he is wrong. Tung asked what kind of woman and how long did they met. He warned Chung that the affair is not something he should touch especially with Kit's character. Also, Chung is a policeman so that he should not have an affair or else it will be bad for his reputation. With a bad reputation he is not able to get a promotion.

Back at PTS, they are doing a crash negotiation case. A man is holding a girl as a hostage. He hase his knife on her throat. Hoi Yan is the negotiation and Kwong is given the position as the observer. Kwong went to get the information after Hoi Yan told him to. After he got the information, he gave it to Hoi Yan. She called the guy Yue but that guy is actually called Seah. Hoi Yan is mad at Kwong because he wrote the wrong name so that guy refused to talk to them. Kwong acts innocently and thought that is how they spell Seah. Therefore they failed. Pang Sir asked them are they playing around and Hoi Yan appologized.

In their classroom, Pang Sir said that many people have improved through their training, but there are some that are doing really bad. In order to acknowledge them, he and Kit decided to read out the five lowest score names. Kit read off the name of the people that are doing bad from the highest to the lowest. Kwong was second to the last and Hoi Yan got the lowest. Pang Sir asked her whether she knows that she might not be able to pass if she didn't improve. Hoi Yan said yes. She is depress and she went up to a place to isolate herself. Kwong came to comfort her and she claims that she is going to fail. She asked herself why is she paired up with him all the time. Kwong told her to not worry but Hoi Yan said that she is not him. She is not rich. Kwong looks shock at her statement. She said that she want to get into PNC so that she can get promoted easily and be able to support her family. She really want to past and she requested Kwong to leave her alone. Her words affected Kwong and that night he helped her fix her tape recorder and gave it to her in the next morning. Hoi Yan is happy when she saw her tape recoreder is working and Kwong actually recorded a song to apologize to her. Hoi Yan asked who sang such a horrible song and Kwong said it is him. He told her to neglect the sound but remember the words. It is a words of a person singing to a beautiful lady. Hoi Yan said that she will not thank him for fixing it since he is the one who broke it in the first place. Kwong said he knew that she is not really mad and him and she pretend that she is. They walked into their classroom without knowing that Pang Sir had heard their whole conversation. While he is lecturing in class, Kwong is sleeping. Hoi Yan saw Pang Sir approaching Kwong and she tried to warn him about it. Kwong wakes up when Pang Sir slammed his paper on his desk. He scold Kwong that he spend his time on useless thing. He told him that he need an expert negotiator and not one that is expert in chasing after girl. He told him that he didn't like Kwong at the beginning and he hoped he will change. However, he is just like a trash. If he can't be in PNC, he should leave. Kwong, in anger, left and pack his bag. He wrote a letter to quit. Yut told Kwong to stay and that he try to understand Pang Sir. Pang Sir didn't get this position if he didn't have some quality. Kwong said that he felt humilitated with Pang Sir's scolding. Kwong took his letter and saw Kit in her office. Kit asked him howcome he is dress like this, because he should be doing exercises with the others. He told her that he is pulling out. Kit asked him why. He said that he felt that Pang Sir is not equal to him and Pang Sir is the one who is forcing him to quit. Kit asked him whether it is Pang Sir that wants him to quit or is it Kwong that want to quit. Kwong said he really didn't want to be PNC and Kit told him that she could feel it but she was just hoping that he would change after a few days of training. She told him that Pang Sir has always believed that he could not do it but she believed that Kwong could be a good negotiator. She said that she is never wrong in her judgement. After this case, she got a feeling she is wrong. She told Kwong to give the letter to Pang Sir himself. She will not help him.

Kwong walked out of the office and saw Pang Sir training the students. He has the student carrying supply while running. They are playing the supplier role. Pang Sir is constantly urging them to be faster because they need to supply the subject's need. The faster they are, the less dangerous or less suicidal the subject will be. He looked up when he saw Kwong walking up to him with his bags packed. Pang Sir told Kwong that he will post Kwong's name on his room to indicate he is the fastest person to leave PNC. Kwong teared up his letter right in Pang Sir's face and say that nothing can stop him from being in PNC if he really try. He said he will prove it to Pang Sir that he could be a sucessful negotiator. To prove his sincerity, he threw down all his CDs, comics, and games down on the floor. Pang Sir tells him to change. Before he left, he saw Pang Sir yelling at Hoi Yan because she fell down. He told Hoi Yan that many student will be glad that she is there because with her there, no one will have to worry that they will get the lowest grade in the class. Kwong looked concern at Hoi Yan as she looked downward in depress and shame.

Hoi Yan escape back to the place she sat isolated before. Kwong went to comfort her and asked her whether she need anyone to talk to her. He is actually trying to play the negotiator role. Hoi Yan told him to not get that near to her because a negotiator should not stay that close to his subject because if the subject want to suicide, she might drag the negotiator down. Hoi Yan quickly started to yell at him because he is bothering her. Kwong is happy to hear her yelling at him and told her that they need to stick together and do their best. They have to show Pang Sir what they are made of. Hoi Yan thought this is wierd because what Kwong said is not like him. Kwong then try to flatter himself by saying he is acutally nice and dedicated. This earned him a sarcastic "sure" from Hoi Yan.

Pang Sir went to Kit and asked her did she have to pull that trick on him. He asked her why did she pushed Kwong to him. Kit told him that she heard from the student that he yelled at Kwong and almost made him cry. Pang Sir said he did it intentionally so that he could distroy his confidence. Luckly he could see that Kwong actually does wanted to be a negotiator a little bit. Kit happily noticed that Pang Sir actually do want Kwong to stay. Pang Sir said that if Kwong want to stay and listen to his yelling, then he would not drive him away. Kit is happy to know that Kwong will come out to be a good negotiator. Pang Sir got a call from Jing and she asked him when will he return. Tung could hear her coughing and told her he will be there right away to take her to the doctor. However, Jeurn Sir came and told him that he will be busy for the next day so that he is planning to move the PNC meeting to tonight. He asked them is there any problem and Kit and Tung said there was none. Kit called her husband and Tung asked Chung to help him take Jing to the doctor.

When Jing opens the door, she found Chung over there. Chung informed her that Tung is busy with PNC meeting and that he is here to bring her to the doctor. Jing is disppointed. After seeing the doctor, Chung said that she should get something to eat. Jing doesn't feel like cooking and she don't want to eat outside food because it is oily. Therefore, Chung suggested to go to Mary's house and Jing agree.

In Mary's house, Chung cooked some porridge for Jing and she ate it. Tung came home early and found his wife missing. He picked up his phone and called Chung. This time, you see Chung lying on the bed and a woman in the shower. She came out and it is Jing. Chung is awake and he puts down a picture that have him and Jing together. Jing walks up to him and hugs him. Just then, the phone rang. Chung picks it up and it is Tung. He remains silent as he tried to come up with an excuse when Tung asked him where is his wife.

Tung is waiting for Chung's answer and before Chung can say anything, Jing took the phone from him and told Tung that they just went out to eat. Chung is currently driving the car so that he couldn't answer the phone. Tung told her to help thank Chung for his help and that he will be busy tonight. After Jing hang up with Tung, Chung said he will drive her back.

Chung is going back home and he saw Kit going in. Kit happily told her husband that they could go to Holland to go look at the flower festival. He told her that she works too hard and he is scared it will be too stressful for her. Kit said that she is sorry that she is always this busy and that she has no time to spent with him. She asked him did he looked for another girl. Chung said of course not and Kit said that she knows that he won't.

Morning came and some of the students are wondering where did Kwong went because he wasn't in bed. They all thought that he is slacking off somewhere. However, when they walked into the class room, Kwong is sitting in the front seat and is studying his notes. Hoi Yan is happy to see that he is dedicated. Pang Sir came in and started to tell them about the suit case he brought in with him. It is PNC emergency kit. It contains pencils, notebook, post (use to jolt down important infomations), rain coat, sun glasses (these are necessary for different weather condition), water, chocolate (to boost up their energy if they need it), bandages, pain killer (to help heal them or for the subject if they are injured), emergency phones, and bonocular (need to observe the subject if they are in a far distance). You can also put anything that is important or necessary for the mission. He asked Hoi Yan what will she do if she is a negotiator and is faced with a suicidal subject. Hoi Yan took out her notes and Pang Sir told her that she would not be able to look at her notes once she is faced in that situation. Pang went to Kwong and Kwong answered his question diligently. After the class, Kwong is studying for tommorrow's test. Hoi Yan decided to skip her dinner because she needs to study. She stood up and manages to bang herself to the table. She sat back down in pain and her friend went to help her get something to drink. Suddenly, Hoi Yan started to have some hiccup. Kwong saw this and asks is her is he alright. Hoi Yan is depress and panic when she realized that she always fail her test when she has hiccup. Kwong thinks it is a wierd behavior and he trys to help Hoi Yan by telling her not to worry. He tell her to breath. She stop hiccuping but she is scared that she will start hiccuping by tommorrow.

Kwong and Hoi Yan is taking another crash negotiation test. Hoi Yan is the negotiator and Kwong is the observer. The subject is called Wong. He is suicidal because his company is not willing to pay him for his work. Kwong got the information and he looks at Hoi Yan. He breathe deeply and Hoi Yan followed him. As Hoi Yan started her negotiation, the man threw a beer can down at them. Kwong quickly looks upward and found a bunch of beer next to the subject. He tells Hoi Yan to distract him from the beer. Hoi Yan started to speak and tell him that she understand that he is upset that he is not getting paid. The man threw his helmet down at them. Kwong told Hoi Yan that the person has a scratch on his leg. Hoi Yan told the person that the injury must be painful and that she will sent one person to give him a bandage. Pang Sir is looking at their work. She asked the man to come down from the rail so that they can discuss about this case in a safe place. The man nodded his head. Kwong gave her a thumbs up and Hoi Yan smiled. However, their joy is quickly diminished when Pang Sir stood up and walked up to Hoi Yan. Once Hoi Yan saw him, she started to hiccup. Pang Sir scold her for unable to withstand pressure. He just walks around her for a moment and already she lost focus on what she needs to say. He tells her that there will be a lot of things changing in a real negotiations. If she can't handle this pressure, how can she handle the real event. Hoi Yan looks downward in sadness. Hoi Yan is sitting at a table and drinking water when Kwong scare her from the back. Kwong said that she own him a dinner because with him scaring her, she stop her hiccuping. He is rambling and thinking of where to go when he notice that Hoi Yan is staring off to space. He told her to not worry and that it is only a test. Hoi Yan said that he can say this easily because the one who made the mistake in that test was her. Kwong told her that her problem is that she is too uptight and that she should think this as a vacation. Hoi Yan told him that she isn't like him. He is born rich and if he does bad, no one will yell at them. She can't because she needs to support her family. She walked away with Kwong looking at her with a wierd expression when he thought about her words. Hoi Yan walked back home in depression. Her sisters and her mother knew that something is wrong when she starts to hiccup. They knew that she must have failed her test. Hoi Yan is fustrated that she can not stop her hiccup. She is stressed out that she is going to fail. Her sister said that they are going to pray to their father tomb tommorrow and hope that Hoi Yan will pass and not have any hiccup.

They went there the next day and pray for Hoi Yan. They told her that no matter what, the will support Hoi Yan and that she should not put so much pressure on herself. They saw a limosine came to the same cemetary. Hoi Yan is walking away when she saw Kwong working to and serving his family as they pray for a dead relative. Hoi Yan observes Kwong as he coughs from inhaling too much incense and is treated as a servant by his family. She even hear his older sister's husband calling him a "Yow Tang Gie" (A son that is not the biological son). She walked up to him and gave him a tissue. They went off to have a drink in a little cafe. She said that she realized that his position is not as good as she thought it is. She told him that she use to thought that he is one of those rich people that never take things serious. Kwong turned away from her and pretend to be hurt. Hoi Yan panics and said sorry. She said that he always act so uncaring that they make people mistake him. However, he has good qualities. However, it will take some time to figure them out. She said that because she couldn't find one to comfort him with. Kwong turns around and said that no one ever cared for him as much as she did. He asked her is she in love with him. She called him crazy and to her surprise, Kwong slapped his hand on the table and said he finally fooled her. She can't believe that he can joke around at this time. Kwong told her that he knows that she might think that he is a depressive kind of people and hold grudges. However, he believes that people should not be unhappy and that they should live their life happily. He doesn't care how people judge him and because of this he is able to live a relaxing life. Hoi Yan heard his word and is thoughtful. Kwong saw her expression and asked her whether he makes sense or not. He asked her is she starting to admire him. Hoi Yan fake a throwing up gesture and said that she is full. Kwong said that is good because he is hungry. Come to think of it, it seems like she own him a dinner. She said that she didn't promise him. He asked her can she spare some abalone for a poor man that is always being look down by his family and she said sure...here is some buns. Kwong looks at them in disbelief.

Moe came and asks Kwong to play with him. However, Kwong tells him to go away so that he can study. Before Moe can disappear, Kwong called him back. He wanted to know how can you cure a phoebia. Moe said there is many kind of phoebia and as he starts listing them, Kwong asked him what if it is an animal phoebia. Moe said if it is an animal then the problem wouldn't be that hard. Let's just say it is a dog that the person is scared of. All they have to slowly make them adapted to the things they are scared of and then they won't be that scared any more. Moe left and Kwong thinks that it will work for Pang Sir because he should be in the category of animal.

He saw Hoi Yan studying in the cafeteria and told her he thought of a plan to cure her hiccups. However, Hoi Yan interupted him and he played a trick on her. He called Pang Sir good morning and Hoi Yan stood up so fast that her papers went flying down to the floor. She is mad that Kwong played that trick on her. However, Pang Sir really comes in and Kwong said good morning to him. Hoi Yan didn't believe him and she continues to study, eventhough, Kwong is pulling her on her sleaves. Pang Sir approached them and asked who's paper is on the floor. Hoi Yan stood up so fast, her chair went flying backward. She picked it up, while keeping her eyes on Pang Sir. Pang sir moved away from her and she starts to hiccup. She is about to drink some water but Kwong took her by the hand and told her that is not a good method. He drags her to the door and Pang Sir is there. She looked at him with fear, while Pang Sir is asking her whether everything is alright. Kwong told him that she will be find and they went back to the place where she use to isolate herself. He told Hoi Yan that the only reason that she is having these hiccup because Pang Sir is putting too much pressure on her. Hoi Yan agreed and said that when ever she see Pang Sir, she always has hiccup. Kwong said he knows her symptoms and it is called animal phoebia. He said he could easily help her cure it. With that said, he took out a picture of Pang Sir. He told her it cannot hurt her. Once Hoi Yan saw that picture, she started to run away with Kwong pursuing her. Kwong tells her to look at it and she screamed, while begging Pang Sir to stop looking at her. Kwong is thinking she is so scared that she saw the picture, she runs away from it.

In Mary's appartment, Chung and Jing is eatting together. On the next Sunday, is their aniversary. Jing wants to stay with Chung but she doesn't want to pressure Chung into any decision. Chung looks at his watch and Jing asks him does he need to leave. He needs to pick up Kit but he will finish his dinner with her first. He picked up Kit and while they were driving in the car, Kit is telling him that her mother in law has got their gift. She said that the mother in law wanted them to have a child and when her mother in law asked her who didn't want to have the child, she said she. As they talk, a car burst out of no where. Chung put one hand out to protect Kit while turning the car to his direction so he will get hit. Kit is safe but Chung injured his right arm in that accident. At the hospital, a police man is taking the report and he told them that normally that kind of accident always hurt the passanger because the driver usually turn the wheel so that the passanger side would get hit instead of the driver side. However, Chung got hurt instead of Kit. Therefore, he must really love his wife. Kit helps him back to their home and Chung said that Kit is a good wife. Kit said that she once remember that on her first case, she got injured and has to stay in the hospital. She lost ten pound after that and he lost fifteen. She felt that she is not a good wife and she asked Chung did he felt he didn't choose the right wife. Chung said no and that he has no regret. Kit said maybe they should have a child and Chung is really happy to hear that. He started to tell Kit that he has thought of his chidren's name for a long time and they all end up apartment house names.

Back in PTS, Hoi Yan is performing a negotiation with Kwong as she stares at Pang Sir's photo. Kwong congratulates her on her improvement. She could now speak without hiccuping in front of Pang Sir's picture. However, Hoi Yan is not that sure because that is only a picture. When she is faced with the real Pang Sir, she is definately going to panic and hiccup. Kwong tells her to turn around and look at him. Hoi Yan turns around and is shock to find Kwong wearing Pang Sir's face as a mask. He commanded Hoi Yan to do a negotiation infront of him. Hoi Yan stumbled over her words and Kwong goes into a Pang Sir mode as he started to lecture her like Pang Sir would. Hoi Yan sank downward as Kwong goes on with his insult. She finally can't take it any more and started to yell back at Kwong. She picked up some volley balls and started to throw at him. She claims that she is a human and that she didn't need him to yell at her all the time. Kwong is diligently dodging the balls. Seeing her out burst, he told her that she finally got over her fear. He turned around to walk away. However, Hoi Yan is not done. She picked up a basket ball and screamed out "Say Yun Pang Gwok Tung," and threw that basketball right at Kwong's head. She quickly snapped out of her anger and apologizes to Kwong as he rubbed his head. Kwong said it is okay because she is able to cure her phoebia. She is able yell at Pang Sir for such a long time without having any hiccup. Hoi Yan is happy about it and before she knows it, Kwong stood back up on his feet and started to throw back the balls at her playfully.

In the class room, Pang Sir and Kit tell them about the final test. They will be working with SDU in a mock trial. Each of the student will get to play the five roles of PNC. They are responsible for the negotiation but they also have to work with SDU to accomplish the deed. After a few minutes in that position, they will rotate. They will know when they will have to opperate when their beeper ring. Pang Sir told them that they cannnot make one mistake in the test or else they will fail. In real life, mistake is not tollerable.

A bus is driving wreaklessly as three people held all of the people in the bus as hostage. They killed the driver. The beepers in people in PNC rang. Hoi Yan is waiting for it nervously while Kwong was sleeping. He closed his beeper and closed back his eyes. He quickly opens them when he realizes what that sound means. They reached to the scene and their job were divided. Kwong is the negotiator and Hoi Yan is the supplier.

The three terrorists is actually once military men. They capture the bus full of people that came here on a vacation from Japan. One of the visitor is an ambassador (I don't know what his position is) from Japan. That is why the situation is so tense and the sucess of it is so crutial. Two passangers have managed to escape from the event. Kwong starts his negotiation and tell the terrorists that he is there to negotiate and that he is not here to harm him. He talk to Ah Cun to try to negotiate about the situation. He told Ah Cun that it is hard to talk by shouting to each other so he is sending a person of his to go and give Cun a phone. However, Cun have to gurantee he will not harm his friend. The person that went to deliver the phone observed the area before he left. Kwong continues on with his negotiation and the terrorists want HK police to release their older brother, Hung Yut Dong, and provide them with a helicopter to escape. If his brother is not released they will killed on every half an hour. Kwong said he will do it if they release the four women in the bus. Cun asks him is he playing with him because there is only three in there. Kwong is pondering about this incident when Yut told him that it was his mistake because he forgot to look at the detail. The girl that was taking the detail forgot to count out the woman that escaped. Therefore, they got marked down. Kwong said he will provide them with food if they released the three women. Cun agree to this offer. At this time, the role is rotated. Kwong is the observer and Hoi Yan is the negotiator. Kwong told her to relax because she seems uptight and reminds her that he is right beside her. Hoi Yan told them that the food is on the way. Cun asks her when is his brother being released. Hoi Yan said that they are doing it. They just need some time. Hoi Yan looks up and saw Pang Sir staring down at her. Cun told her that he will killed one person and Hoi Yan paniced and telled him to don't do it. At that time, she starts to have hiccup. While she is hiccuping, she said that there still time left and asked Cun to trust in her. Kwong wrote something on a piece of paper and crumbled it up. He passes it to Hoi Yan. Hoi Yan opens it up and it said "Say Yun Pang Gwok Tung." She remembers how she reacted when she threw the ball at Kwong. She gave Pang Sir a determine glare and Kwong informed her that the SDU will attacked the back of the bus in three minutes. Hoi Yan told Cun that the main operator for the release of his brother is approaching them from the back of the bus. Kwong, Pang Sir, and Kit looked at her in confusion because they didn't know what she is talking about. However, the terrorist move to the front of the bus and a SDU throw a smoke bomb at the front of the bus, blinding them from the sight. The SDU people are able to apprehend them easily. After that is over, Kwong congratulate Hoi Yan for her quick thinking and for using the information that he handed over to her. Hoi Yan told him that she is still trembling.

Episode 7

Tung went home and Jing is waiting for him. She asked him does he have time this Sunday to go to the field and look at the things they have planted. Tung said he need to have the grade ready by Sunday for the PNC students. Jing is disappointed and told him that he always don't have time. He was busy when he has PNC and now that it is over, he still don't have time. Tung listens to Jing's complaint and said that he will finished them by tonight, so that he could go with her to the field on Sunday. Jing is happy. Kit and Chung is working on the field, when Kit spoted Jing and Tung. Chung looks a little bit shock when he saw Jing. Kit and Chung greeted them and Kit asked Tung didn't he have to grade the PNC test. Tung said that he finished early. Jing spotted Chung's injured arm. Chung told them that he got into a car accident. They are having a BBQ near the field, when Tung asked Chung would the injury affect his shooting ability. Chung told him that it won't. Jing told Chung to stay clear from water. Chung smiled at her comment and told her he will. Kit has just finished cooking a wing and she hand feed Chung the wing. Jing saw that and is unhappy. Tung has finished cooking two hotdogs and asks Jing does she want one and she said she already had one. Kit went to wash her hand because it is oily. At that time, Jing asked Tung to help her buy lemon tea. Tung went away, leaving Chung and Jing alone. Jing asks Chung why didn't he told her about his arm. Chung said that he didn't want her to worry and that it is a minor problem. Jing told him that she want him to tell her everything from now on. Chung agree. Jing told him that she wanted to see him. She also took out a little gift and told him Happy Aniversary. Chung looks around him before accepting the gift.

Tung and Chung is at a bar and people are congratulating Tung for solving another case. Chung's phone rang and it is Jing. Jing asks him is Tung next to him and he answered no. She told him to not drink too much sour stuff. He quickly hang up when Tung walks up to him. Tung asks him who is the woman and told Chung to break up with her. Chung said he can handle it. Tung told him that Jing and he didn't want to see him break up with Kit.

Hoi Yan is walking around her PTS room when someone knocked on her door. She opens the door and it is Kwong. He has a bunch of fruits in his hand and came here to find Hoi Yan. Hoi Yan can't believe that he could be so relax when the results is going to come out tommorrow. Kwong said he is not worried and he is planning to eat a lot tommorrow. He told Hoi Yan to eat some grapes. To his surprise, Hoi Yan didn't eat it. Instead, she started to pluck off each grapes and throw them down on the floor (she is actually saying..."make it...don't make it...make it...etc." while plucking them off). Kwong asks her what she is doing because she is wasting food and Hoi Yan told him to not bother her. She will sweep it up. He asks her is she fine and Hoi Yan said that she is worried about the results. She said that she thinks she will not be able to make it into PNC. Kwong said not to worry because she has him beside her. And beside, she did fairly well. Hoi Yan said that the one who did well was him. Kwong said that he must do well because he needs to prove to Pang Sir that he could make it. Hoi Yan said that when Pang Sir called her to rotate, she is so scared that she even hiccup. Kwong told her to not be so nervous and that he give her courage (he pats her softly on the head). She said no...and he tosses an orange at her, while saying she is bothersome. He said luckly...and she asks him what does he mean by that. He said luckily that PNC training is ending tommorrow. That way, he won't be seeing her. And beside, if they did make it into PNC, he don't believe that they will be put in the same team. Hoi Yan tosses back the orange to him and said that he is crazy because even if she didn't make it into PNC, they still work in the same area. Therefore, she will eventually see him. Kwong took the orange and toss it to her while saying he will have to move away if that is the case. He runs out of the room as Hoi Yan picks up the orange and tosses it out back at him. She screams that where ever he goes, she will follow him. She smiles and is relax after this incident.

Tommorrow came and Hoi Yan is very nervous. Kwong told her if she is scare, then they will both be scare together. Jeurn Sir told them that PNC training has ended and only ten students pass. This causes a lot of nervousness in the class. Pang Sir is reading out the names and Hoi Yan is getting more nervous as she watches students going up there to get their certificate. When Pang Sir got to the ninth student, he looks at Kwong. Kwong is constantly muttering to himself that he must make it. When Pang Sir said out his name, Kwong shouted he made it, before walking up to receive his certificate. He made a pose and he and Kit happily exchanges a peace sign (they both raises up two fingers in one hand) before he sat back on his desk. He told Hoi Yan she would make it so don't worry. Pang Sir looks at Hoi Yan before he announced the tenth student. She is closing her eyes tightly and praying very hard. When Pang Sir called out her name, her eyes snapped right open in shock and screamed out that she made it. Kwong told her that he knew she would make it. She went up to get her certificate and thank Pang Sir for it. As she sits back down on her seat, she gave Kwong a hi-five with their certificates. Jeurng Sir said that to award the most hard working students, they have an award to give to the best partner in PNC. The awards goes to Yeurng Kwong and Yip Hoi Yan. They both were shock at the news and happily went forward. In the little box, it is a pin. Hoi Yan said that it is pretty but there is only one. So how can they share it. Kit said that it can split up to two. They asked them what is the heart pin is made of and Kwong and Hoi Yan told them that it is made of a pair of hands. Jeurng Sir split up the pin and said that by linking hands, they must work together to help people. He put them back together to form a heart. He said this represents that PNC people have a heart that is willing to help people. Hoi Yan said that is what PNC represent. Kwong said he understand. He said that he will remember and maintain those attributes. Hoi Yan nodded her head. Jeurn Sir said that the willing to help other people is what PNC main goal is. Kit and Pang Sir also got this award too in the past. Therefore they are the ones that should help them put it on. Kit helps place the pin on Hoi Yan and Pang Sir helps place the pin on Kwong. They then returns back to their seats. Kit said that she preserved her award really well..she then turns to Pang Sir and asks him did he keep it in good shape. Pang Sir answers, of course. Jeurng Sir said that eventhough Hoi Yan and Kwong are the one that got that award, everyone in PNC or going to want to become PNC should remember those words and maintain those attributes. He told them to come to the ceremony banquet that they will be holding that night. Everyone said yes sir.

In the banquet, Hoi Yan and Kwong is dressed up in the PNC official outfit. They both look at their award (pin)happily. Their friends, which include Yut and some of their fellow students, said that they are looking sharp. Hoi Yan's friend said that she will try out for PNC next year and some of them starts to joke around by saying they would not be trying out if she is going to be there. Hoi Yan and Kwong encourage them to try out. Jeurng Sir then speaks in the microphone to welcome them all over here. He said that this gathering contains all of the PNC memebers, newly graduated memembers, and PNC students. That way people can get to know each other. Hoi Yan asks Jeurng Sir which groups are they assigned to and Jeurng Sir teased her by saying she must be eagar to get started. Everyone laughed at that comment and Jeurng Sir told them that the results are posted on that wall. They can all go there to look. Kwong and Hoi Yan went there to look and Kwong said that he is in Team A. Then he said, no way because Hoi Yan is in the same team as him. Hoi Yan said that if he doesn't like it, why don't he asks for a transfer. Kwong said that he can't because Team A has Kit in there and he wants to work with her. Hoi Yan looks up with surprise and said that means they will also have to face Pang Sir too. Kwong looks at her in disbelief. Kit and Tung is clamping up foods from the banquet table, while talking about the new team. Kit said that they should be happy. Team A now has two new great negotiator in their team. Tung said that he will just have to wait and see. Kit noticed that he still has some judgment on Kwong. Tung admits that Kwong has talents but he still needs to see whether he will be a good negotiator. He actually kind of has a good view for Hoi Yan. She is not too smart but she is hard working. He clamps on to a food but someone also clamps on to it at the same time. He turns to look at that person and it is Hoi Yan. Hoi Yan looks at Pang Sir in shock and quickly releases her clamp. She looks downward and apologizes to him. Pang Sir asks her what is wrong and is she still that scared of him. Hoi Yan unconsiously said yes Sir, but she quickly corrected herself by saying no Sir. Pang Sir said that she don't have to be that nervous around him. They are in the same team, therefore, they are like a family. He will look after her and that he believe she can do it. Hoi Yan thanks him. Kwong, who is standing besides Hoi Yan at that time, goes up to Kit and said that from now on, he will learn from her. He said that he will do his best so he will not be look down by someone. Pang Sir said he hopes so. Kit smiles at Kwong. They then gather together to takes some pictures.

Hoi Yan's department (which consisted with two guys, one old lady, and Mok Sir...aka Chung) was looking at the PNC pictures and praising Hoi Yan. Mok Sir congratulate her on her hard accomplishment. He said that among all of the students that pass, she and Kwong is the only PC in the group. They also got the best partner award too. For that, a guy in her department tried to trick Hoi Yan to treat them out for lunch. Mok Sir came to her rescue by saying he will treat them instead for all of their hard work. Just then, Cheun came and look for Hoi Yan. He treats her out to lunch in the cafeteria. Cheun said that Hoi Yan got skinner. He asked her did they treated her bad and did they tortured her with all of the hard work. Hoi Yan said that he must have watch too much of the police movies. She also told him that she was treated very nicely over there and that she is alright. He is relief to hear that. Hoi Yan asks him how is he doing in the job and how does he like it. He said that the people over there treats him really well and that he likes working over there. Hoi Yan then encourages him to continue to work there. Chuen is happy that she is so concern about him. He gave her a bag of stuff animals (two penguins) before he left. Just then Kwong walks in and saw Cheun. He sat next to Hoi Yan and asks her nervously is Chuen looking for him. Hoi Yan calmly answers him no and that he came here to look for her. He also treated her to lunch inorder to thank her for finding him a job. Kwong said in a relief voice is that so. However, he quickly panic when he digested Hoi Yan's words. He panics when Hoi Yan nodded her head when Kwong asks her did Cheun treated her to lunch. He stood up and noticed a bag of stuff animals. He asks her did Cheun gave her these to her. Hoi Yan answers yes and she don't see a problem with it. Kwong clutches his head and said no. He then told Hoi Yan desperately that danger is here. Hoi Yan asks him is he going crazy. Kwong said that she don't understand. Last time, thing starts getting out of hand when Cheun treated him to lunch. From that time on, he starts to stick to him like glue. Hoi Yan said that she don't see the problem because Cheun is just repaying her for finding a job for him. Besides, she treats him as a friend. Kwong said that no matter what, she should be wary of "Siu." Hoi Yan asked him "Siu" what. He answer "Siu Sum Sie Duck Man Nean Seun" (Becareful and you can drive a boat for ten thousands of years). Hoi Yan said that he must be crazy and that she don't have time to fool around with him. She picks up her stuff and leave, while Kwong is calling out her name. He stood there desperately as he ponders about the events.

Hoi Yan goes back home and Cheun calls. Her two sisters and her mother looks at the two stuff animals and is listening to Hoi Yan eagarly. Hoi Yan told Cheun that she is home safe and said good bye to him. Once she hangs up the phone, her family pounces on her and started to asks her is that her boyfriend. Hoi Yan said no and that they are just regular friends. They didn't believe it because when Hoi Yan was at PTS, Cheun was constantly calling her house and asking how he is doing. Hoi Yan said that he is just her friend. Hoi Oi said sure and when she looks at the stuff animals, she said it is too mushy. Hoi Yan asks her what and when she looks at what is written on the feet of the stuff animals "Yan Yan Oi Cheun Cheun...Cheun Cheun Oi Yan Yan", she threw them down in disgust and fustration.

Kwong is reading out those words in the police department the next days and Hoi Yan snatches them out from him. He is laughing while Hoi Yan looks fustrated. Hoi Yan said that she is already fustrated enought about this. Can't he come up with a plan. Kwong said that he has a plan and Hoi Yan looks at him eagarly. Kwong said that since he likes her so much, why don't she just marry him. Hoi Yan tell him to go to death for joking at this time. Kwong then said that she should find a hit man to kill him. Hoi Yan quickly said that the first person she will kill is him. Kwong is laughing and said that he warned her, but she didn't believe him. Hoi Yan said that she didn't know that it will go this extreme. She only thought of him as a friend. She then begged Kwong to help her. Kwong is acting high and mighty by saying now that she knows how important he is. He said that he will try to come up with a plan for her since they were partner. Hoi Yan sat back, in relief.

Tung is looking over a case and Jing gave him a cup of coffee. He told her to go to sleep and she said that she will not bother him then. She looks at him sadly before she goes to her computer to talk to Mary (aka..Chung). She asks Mary what is she doing. She is bored and she starting to really believe that her relationship with Tung is going down the drain. Chung wrote that he understand what she is feeling but nothing is perfect in this world. He went outside to fill his cup. Just then, Kit wakes up from her bed and saw Chung has drop his robe. She went to pick it up but she saw in the computer that someone has type "I miss you." She asks Chung what is that and he said that it is a joke. He then escort her to bed.

In Kit's department, they are looking at a romantic add. They were trying to tell Kit that she should go there with Mok Sir. Kit said that they are an old couple and those things doesn't fit them. Just then, a call from that restuarant called her cellphone to confirm the reservation. Kit happily told them yes. She dressed up really nice for that day. Chung asks her why is she dress so nice. Is she meeting someone.She said that she has no reason and maybe she is meeting him tonight. Mok Sir said that he is busy tonight and Kit thought that he is just trying to held the suspense so she happily said she will wait for his call. At her office, her people are saying goodbye. They compliment her beauty. Just when they walk away, she received a call from Chung. She is happy to hear his call, but to her disappointment, Chung said that he has a meeting so he cannot dine with her. She goes home unhappy and flipps the channel. She ends up eatting cup o noodle. In the romantic restuarant, Jing is writing a message saying that she loves Chung. She told Chung to sign it because the theme is "Message in a bottle." Chung signed it because it represents what they want. Chung is celebrating with her to replace back the anniversary that they miss. Chung told Jing that they shouldn't meet out in such a public place because Tung realized that he has a woman outside. Jing asked him did Tung know it is her and Chung said no. He asked her whether Tung started to notice her and she said that he hasn't. She said that he is over confident so he wouldn't notice her. She told him not to worry. He told her that they should leave. He sign the bill with his credit card. When he arrive home, Kit said that their meeting is really late and she said that his face is red. Chung said that after their meeting, he went for a drink. She told him to go have a shower. He went there and Kit helps him pick up his suit. The bill from the restuarant fell out and Kit looks at it in astonishment. She recall back to the message she saw in her husband's computer. She started to suspect something.

Hoi Yan left the police building and Cheun is waiting for her. He said that she is always busy but since she is leaving so early today, that means she has time. He tried to give her a lollipop, while Hoi Yan looks desperate to get out of this situation. Just then, Kwong come walking to them and saying that he is sorry that he is late. He steps right between Hoi Yan and Cheun. Hoi Yan is stun at Kwong's appearance. Cheun is angry that Kwong is there and asks him what is he doing. He said that Hoi Yan promise to play with him. Kwong answer isn't that a coincidence because Hoi Yan actually has plans with him. Cheun tries to take Hoi Yan's bag but Kwong took it instead. He spun Hoi Yan by her shoulder so she would be facing away from Cheun. Before Cheun can protest, Kwong leads her away. Fustrated, Chuen follows them. Kwong leads her to a little cafe. He pulls the seat out from Hoi Yan and she thanks him before she sat down. Chuen is about to sit on the seat that is closest to Hoi Yan but Kwong sat on it instead (oh yeah..they are sitting at a round table). Kwong thanks Cheun for pulling the seat for him. Cheun sat down reluctantly at another seat that is not that close to Hoi Yan. He tries to talk to Hoi Yan but Kwong quickly interupts him by saying asking Hoi Yan what she wants to drink. Before she can answer, Kwong said he knows and order lemon tea for her. Cheun mumbles that Kwong is bothering him and Hoi Yan from going out to play. Kwong said that Cheun doesn't understand Hoi Yan. Why would she want to play after working the whole day. She would want to relax instead. Cheun looks at Hoi Yan eagarly and move a little bit forward to her. Hoi Yan backs up slightly. Cheun calls out Hoi Yan again but Kwong interupted him by placing a menu infront of Hoi Yan to block Cheun's view. He asked Hoi Yan what she wants to eat and he orders her favorite meal before she could reply. By the end of the meal, Cheun is at one end of the table, while Hoi Yan has already move all the way to Kwong's side and leaning in his arms. They both look at Cheun anxiously. Cheun took out two tickets eagarly and asks Hoi Yan to watch it with him. Kwong quickly answers that they both went to watch it already. Cheun goes hysteric and asks Hoi Yan why would she go and watch it with Kwong. He is not her boyfriend. Hoi Yan said that actually she thinks that they are friend. She never did think of him otherwise. Chuen that asks her what about his feeling for her. The two stuff animals...Kwong interupted him by saying that Hoi Yan will not be with him because she is already his girlfriend. Cheun said that he don't believe it unless they can prove it. Kwong asks how. Cheun said that if they are boyfriend and girlfriend, then they should be holding hands. Kwong raises up Hoi Yan's hands and they are clasps tightly together. Then Cheun said that if they are indeed dating, then they should be kissing. If they kiss, then he will believe it. Hoi Yan and Kwong looks at Cheun in shock. Kwong said kissing huh..and he turned Hoi Yan to his direction and told Cheun to look. She looks at Kwong in panic and silently mouth to him no, while he nods his head to her. People around the cafe is looking at Hoi Yan and Kwong. As he moves to give her a kiss, she clamps her eyes shut and sucks in her lips so he can't kiss her. Before he reaches her, Kwong moves away and said that kissing is a sacred thing and it should not be display in public. Hoi Yan let out her breath in relief. Cheun said that they are not boyfriend and girlfriend. They both answered yes in fustration. Cheun then started to get a little bit emotional, and said that he understand. He thinks that Hoi Yan is just like the other people. She looks down on him. Hoi Yan said no but he didn't believe it. Cheun then ran out of the cafe. Hoi Yan told Kwong to quickly pay for the bill so they could follow Cheun. They are calling out Cheun's name as he search for a place to jump. He finally spotted a place and ran up the stairs to it. Hoi Yan and Kwong told him to calm down as he climb on the rail. He said that Hoi Yan is just like the other people. She doesn't care about him. Hoi Yan said that she never did look down on him. She said that a lot of people likes him. She said that people in the community center likes him as a friend. The manager even comments him. Cheun doesn't believe it because he never did hear it. Hoi Yan said it is true but Cheun said that he doesn't believe them and that they are like everyone. He hates them and before he knew it, he slips. Kwong pounced forward and manages to grab Cheun by his hand. Hoi Yan told Cheun to hang on.

They are sitting at the park and Hoi Yan asked Kwong is he alright. Kwong said that he is alright. He just believe that he might strain his armpit. She then turns to Cheun and asks him is he alright. Cheun said he is. Hoi Yan said isn't suiciding stupid. He always said that they don't care about him but in order to save him, Kwong strain his armpit. Cheun said that he thought that Hoi Yan and Kwong doesn't care about him. Kwong said that is not true. They do care about him and that he should not do such a stupid thing again. Look at him. He is full of scratches. Hoi Yan said that boys and girls does not necessarily have to be boyfriend and girlfriends. Cheun then said that he though that they first become friends and then they date and they they get marry and bear children. Isn't that the normal procedure? Hoi Yan said that it isn't true. There are relationship where the boy and the girl can have a good relationship but never did reach the dating part. She wants to think Cheun is her friend. Kwong supported her view by using his relationship with her as an example. He said that he and Hoi Yan are good friends but they are not dating. Cheun asks them do they still think of him as a friend. Hoi Yan said of course and told him to not suicide anymore. He links his pinky with Hoi Yan and Kwong reluctantly links his with Cheun. Cheun sream out yes and raised their arms. This cause Kwong to scream out in pain because of his strain arm. They took Cheun home and they promise they will play with him one day. Hoi Yan thanks Kwong for helping her. Kwong said that she must be happy but out of no reason, he has step back right into the puddle. Hoi Yan said just pretend that you has a new friend. Kwong replies that this friend tends to stick to people too much. He is so busy. He has to play, work, and do PNC. Hoi Yan wonder when are they going to be on call for PNC. Kwong said that he can't believe that she is so small but so evil hearted. If she is on call for PNC, then that means some one wants to die. Hoi Yan refuses that claims and said that she just wants some experience. Kwong said that he would rather not be on call. HShe said that after all these hard work, he doesn't want to be in PNC. He stated he only wanted to be in PNC because that time he want to prove to Pang Sir but now that he has no reason to do so. Hoi Yan thinks that Kit will be disappointed with his decision. Kwong said he will find a time to tell her.

Yut is having an arguement with his wife through the phone. His wife thinks that he is having another woman. Kit comes out from her office and saw his other colleague asking him whether he is having one or not. Yut of course is upset. He said that if she does suspect something, they should talk it out. She don't have to be so supicious of every thing. This made Kit think. He asks Kit does he think that he is right. Kit said that couples should trust in each other. Chung came to pick her up. While he is driving her back home, he asks her is she alright and she said she is. She notices that he is running out of gas and told Chung to fill it up. Chung is reluctant at first but Kit told him to not wait at the last minutes. He went to a nearby gas station and the person that is serving them saw Kit and asks her has she changes her sink yet (I think that is what it means...or is it soap???). Kit said that he must be mistaken her for the wrong person. That person say sorry but before he left, he looks at the driver license and at Kit. Kit notices the puzzle looks on his face. Chung explains that he once drove his colleague back home and they stop here. She asked for that information. Kit asks is it Hoi Yan and Chung said yes. Kit nods her head and looks out the window. Chung also looks out the window with thoughts.

Episode 8

In PNC Team A's meeting, Pang Sir tolds the new recruits that they will go under nine month of probation. Hoi Yan eagarly notices that they will be on call. Kit said that during this time, they will be able to face all kinds of situations. Pang Sir told them that they must be avalible 24 hr. They must 1) don't leave that area they are responsible. 2) Be aware of what they are wearing 3) Don't drink. 4) Always keep their beeper with them. Kit said that if they are not able to make it, they will have to call back and tell them why. Also, once they get their call, they have to call back and to inform them how long is it going to take for them to reach there. Once they received a call, they will also have to notify their supervisor about their job so that someone can replace their shift. Pang Sir said that especially applys to people that is on patrol. Kwong said he understand. The meeting is over and Hoi Yan is about to leave when Kit stops her. She asks Hoi Yan has she change her sink yet. Hoi Yan said that she haven't sit in Mok Sir's car for a while, because they don't leave at the same time. Kit starts to be suspicious of Chung's explaination. Kit went home that night and she starts to look through her husband's desk. She found bills from the gas station...this means he always goes to that gas station. She also found restuarant bills that he had pay but never brought her to eat before. She looks at the bills in despair. She quickly turns to the computer and try to get into her husband's accout. As she inputs passwords after passwords, she gets more fustrated at every passing second. Finally she is able to find the right password. She nervously clicks on Mary's file. She stares at the screen in distraught as emails from Mary and Chung's conversation flashes through the screen. She sat back sadly at the sight.

Jing is talking to Cheung on the phone that day and she told him that she wants to watch a movie with him. She is holding the bottle that has the paper that she wrote in the restuarant. Cheung told her that he is busy so he can't go see it with her. Just then, Tung came home and Jing hangs up on Chung. Jing asks Tung how come he is home early and Tung said that he intentionally come home so he could spent time with her. He saw her looking at the movie ad and asks her does she want to see that movie. Jing said that he never did like those kind of movie. Tung said that since he came here to intentionally spend time with her, he will watch what she wants. Jing is disappointed because she doesn't want to watch it with him. She dresses up unwillingly as Tung goes through her closet. He asks her how come she never wears that pink jacket he brought her. She said that she doesn't want to wear it and that she doesn't like that color. Tung forces her to try it out and didn't really listen to her when she said that she don't want to. At the movie, Jing is happily watching the romantic movie. That is until she looks at Tung and found him fast asleep. She unhappily walks back to the car with him, while Tung doesn't notice her unhappiness. He asks her where does she want to eat. Jing said that she wants to go home. Tung became concern and asks her is she sick. Jing said no and that she just want to go back home early. That night, Jing is emailing to Chung and said that she went to watch the movie and the sad thing is that it is not with him. Chung said that after his work, he went to watch the movie by himself..in a way, that kinds of make it seems like they watch it together. Jing is happy to hear that and asks him about a part of the movie. It seems like the male in the movie has a sickness and that he is going to die soon. Jing said that is so sad and romantic. Chung said that it doesn't matter how long that they get to be together...what matter is the time they are together. Jing is happy to hear that. While they are talking, Kit is observing Chung. On the next day, she follows Chung to Mary's house. She waited outside and looks at the building to see which apartment did Chung went to. She finally knew which apartment he is in because he went to the large window and closed the curtain. Kit rushed up to the building but when she reached the door, she could not bring herself to ring the doorbell. Meanwhile, Chung and Jing is dancing slowly together. Kit constantly raises her hand to ring the doorbell but she didn't. She finally got a call from Yut and he informed her that they finally cornered the suspect. She told him that she will be on the way. As she leaves, Chung thought he heard someone at the door. He opens the door but saw no one. Jing walks up to him and told him that he must be imagining things. They both went back inside. Kit arrives to the scene on time and asked them what is going on. They told her that their suspect is just in the building. Just then, the suspect came out and they started to give chase. Kit is gaining on him as other people fall behind. She threw a basket on the suspect and knocks him down. She then ran up to him and started to beat the living day light out of him. As she socks him, she thought back to her husband's infidelity. Yut notices that she is upset so he let her leash her anger at the suspect for a while. He finally stops her before she could kill the poor man. Kit manages to scratch her hand in the process of the capture. Back in the police station, they are questioning the suspect. When he is unwilling to admit to his crime, Kit told them to take him to the holding area. Yut asks her is she alright because she hurt her hand. She said that it is a minor scratch. Yut told the others to leave and he will finish up the rest of the job but Kit told him to go home and that she can finish them up. They said goodbye to her and afterward, she looks sad. She works really late on her job. She got a call from Chung just when she is working. In confusion, she didn't pick it up. Chung waits for her and he asks her howcome she didn't pick up the phone. He saw her injury and is very concern about her. Kit looks at him in confusion as he battle the disgust that she felt for her husband yet touched by his concern. Chung does not notice her behavior and thought that she must be tierd. He told her that she will have to be becareful. If something happens to her, what will happen to him. Kit closes her eyes in pain. The next day, Jing and Kit is playing tennis together. Kit fell down and Jing asks her is she alright. Kit said that she just scratches the already injured hand. Jing told her to go back and rest. As Kit goes to her locker, she saw the picture of her and her husband in her wallet. She sanks down on the floor and cry. Jing saw her crying and asks her what is wrong. Kit told her that Chung has a woman. Jing asks her can she be sure. Kit said that she is sure because she saw him with another woman in a building. She doesn't understand because Chung never lie to her. Jing asks her does she knows who is the girl. Kit said that she only saw their shadow. Jing asks her how come she didn't go and reveal them. Kit said that she wants to but she can't bring herself to do it. She said that while she is at work, she felt confuse. Jing asks her what else does she knows and Kit asks Jing does she knows about Mary. Jing wonders does Kit suspect Mary. Kit told her that she doesn't know who to suspect. Jing asks her is she going to confront Chung. Kit doesn't know because she and her husband has been in this relationship for such a long time. She just don't know why this have to happen. Kit cries in Jing's shoulder and Jing looks away, deep in thought. Jing approaches Chung after this event and saw him watering plants. Chung said that one day they will have a farm with beautiful plants. Jing is happy to see him as they discuss about what they are going to plant. He and Chung sat down together as they look up at the sky. Jing said that she wants to asks him a question. If she, Kit, and him are on a ship, who would he save. He said he will save both. She asks him if he could only save one, who will he save. He said that such things could not happen. Jing said that she really wants to know. Chung said then he will find a way to not make it sink. Jing is unhappy because she knows that Chung will answer Kit.

Kwong, Cheun, and Hoi Yan is eating together in a cafe. Kwong is teaching Cheun how to eat red bean icee but Cheun doesn't see the difference between the method of eating. Hoi Yan is smiling at Kwong's dismay look. Hoi Yan scold Kwong for ordering so much food because Cheun is paying. Cheun said that she don't have to worry because he want to treat them. He got his first paycheck and he wants to treat them to lunch. Hoi Yan told Cheun that he should save up his money and that the manager from where he works, said that he is doing a good job. Cheun said that he have to so he won't disappoint her. He then asks Kwong what else does he wants. Kwong said that he don't want to order anymore or else Hoi Yan will yell at him. Hoi Yan said that she would not scold him if he is paying the next time. Kwong looks at her in annoyance as she said that she doesn't care that he is buying them abolone to eat or anything. She would not scold him. Cheun asks Hoi Yan that she likes to eat shark fins. He said that he knows one place that taste really good. It is located at the end of the street. Hoi Yan and Kwong smiles because they knows those kinds are fake. Their food came and Kwong told Cheun to try the fried rice because it is nicely cook. Cheung touched the plate and burns his hand. Kwong told her to becareful. After they finish eating, Kwong said that this meal is good and that it would be better if there is dessert. Hoi Yan looks at him in annoyance when Cheun asks Kwong does he wants dessert. Hoi Yan quickly stops Cheun and told him to not order because they are really full. Kwong took out his wallet and wants to look at the bill. Cheun told them that he is paying and Hoi Yan told him not to because this is his first job. It is the heart that counts. She said that Kwong could pay it. Kwong said they should each pay for their portion and Hoi Yan called him cheep. She said he has a thousand dollar in his wallet and he doesn't even want to treat them. Kwong said that he is saving that to buy a new game. Cheun ends up paying because he really wants to treat his two new friends to lunch. They thank him. They went to shopping with Cheun as he bought stuff for his family. Kwong said that they treat him so bad and he is treating them so good. Cheun said that it doesn't matter because they are still family. Hoi Yan said that this is what you call respect.

Back at his household, the auntie wants to take Cheun's money once he comes home. She hear Cheun coming home and tell her son to take the western cake back into the kitchen so Cheun cannot eat it. The uncle told his wife that she should not hound on Cheun for his money because he has so less, but his wife does not listen. Cheun came home with a bunch of stuff. Hoi Yan and Kwong help him. The uncle happily greets them and thanks Hoi Yan for finding a job for Cheun. He is happy that Cheun thought of him and brought him some beer. Cheun then took the new kettle that he brought for his aunt and wanted to show her it. However, she asks him where is the money. When he gave her it, she said that he only has so less. Cheun said that he use most of the money to buy those things. His auntie goes through the stuffs that he brought and scold him for buying usless stuff. She calls him useless and that he is a leacher. Hoi Yan wants to help Cheun but Kwong told her to calm down. He said that Cheun actually left something with him. He took out his thousand dollar and said that Cheun left it with him. Cheun's aunt snatches it out from his hand. Kwong explains that Cheun intentionally brought that kettle because he once saw his auntie has burn her hand from the old kettle. He intentionally brought this new kettle so she won't have to burn her hand. He also took out the shaving cream that Cheun brought for his cousin. Kwong said that Cheun actually really does care about them. Touched, the aunt told her son to bring out the cake that she brought so Cheun can have some. Hoi Yan and Kwong is happy to see this. Cheun is escorting them out when while eatting the cake happily. Kwong told him to not eat it so fast. Cheun said that this is the first time that his aunt treats him to western cake. He thanks Kwong for helping him. He took out his dirty hand and wants Kwong to shake it. Kwong looks at his hand ackwardly and slowly lifts his trembling hand to shake Cheun's hand. Cheun finally notices Kwong's unwillingness and before Kwong can shakes his hand, he said sorry and he wipes his hand on his shirt. He said that he will find a way to repay Kwong back. Kwong said that he doesn't have to worry about it and that they are friends. Cheun insisted that he will pay him back. Kwong said that if he wants to then he can go ahead. They said goodbye and Cheun goes back up to his apartment. Hoi Yan said that she is starting to change her perspective on Kwong. Kwong said is it because of the thousand dollar. He said that he did treat Cheun bad at the past and now that he treat Cheun good to repay him back. Hoi Yan looks at her beeper and Kwong told her that no one called her. She is wondering when will she actually get to work. She said that other teams has already been called out and she hasn't. They told her that it is very exciting. Kwong looks at her and asks her that she wants someone to jump off the building. Hoi Yan looks at him in confusion, while Kwong scold her. He said that he can't believe that she is so poisonous and evil. She is a negotiator and not a terrorist. She should not be thinking of these things. Hoi Yan said that they don't necessarily have to jump off the building. They could be suiciding in the ocean. As he walks away, Kwong shaked his head in disbelief. He thought to himself that the most evil people is women.

Hoi Yan is eatting with her colleague when someone's beeper rang. She thought it was hers but it is actually her colleague. She sat down depress, while Mok Sir told her to not worry. Her beeper finally rang and she stood up excitedly. Mok Sir told her to go and good luck. Kwong is searching for his supervisor and found him talking to another supervisor. He asks his supervisor can he leave because PNC needs his help. His supervisor didn't want to let him go but another head, that is higher than Kwong's supervisor, tell Kwong to go. Hoi Yan and Kwong pack up their stuff while calling into PNC to tell them when are they going to reach there. Kwong waits for the elevator when Hoi Yan came rushing pass him. Kwong stops her and tell her that the elevator is here. Hoi Yan said that they should use the stairs because the elevator always break down in such crucial time. She drags Kwong toward the stairs, while Kwong thoughts that there is a elevator and that she won't even use it. They were the first to arrive to the scene. Kwong is the negotiator and Hoi Yan is the informer and the observer. The suspect is called Gwok Bong. He has capture the land lady and her two child in the house. He threatens to kill them because the land lady is raising their price. Kwong goes to negotiate and Hoi Yan stays next to him. He opens his hand and Hoi Yan understands his gesture. She gave him the mirror so he could observe the situation. Gwok Bong is going histerical. Kwong told Hoi Yan to get some information. Bong took the landlady and has the knife at her throat. Kwong told Bong that they can discuss everything. Bong said that there is nothing that he could discuss. He lost his job and he doesn't has enough money for the raised price. Kwong said that they could discuss about the raised rent. Hoi Yan came back and wrote that the land lady has heart attack and that she needs to eat the medicine on time. Pang Sir arrives and told Kwong to continue on with his work. Kwong told Bong that the land lady needs to eat her medicine and and that she is suffering. Bong said that it will be better if she die. The land lady gasps and said that she will not add his rent. Kwong took this hint and said that since she said that she will not increase the rent, he can write a document right here to verify her words. Pang Sir nodded his head at Kwong's work. Bong said he don't believe him, but Kwong said that this document is official and it works under law. He said that it would only work if the land lady is in a consious state when she sign the document. Therefore, she needs to eat her medicine. He then does a gesture to tell Hoi Yan to start writing the document. Kwong then told Bong to give him the key and release the two children. Bong tosses the key to Kwong so he can open the door to release the children and give him the document. With the document in his hand, he told Bong that he should let the land lady eat her medicine so that she will be in a clear state. Bong did. They sucessfully finished this negotiation. Hoi Yan and Kwong are leaving and Hoi Yan told Kwong that Pang Sir seems to approve of their job. Kwong said that it might not seems this way because Pang sir is hard to predict. Just then, the land lady's husband came running over there to hug his wife. Hoi Yan and Kwong smile when they saw the reunited family. Pang Sir smiled at them before he left. Kwong and Hoi Yan are about to leave when they are surrounded by reporters. They asked them that it is their negotiation that got this event through. Kwong shyly said that he is only doing his job. They then turn to Hoi Yan and she stares at them in silence with her mouth open. That night Kwong is rewinding the scene over and over again in his room. Moe came in there and asks him he must feel happy about it. Kwong said it was nice to see the family together again and that Moe should not compliment him so much in grandmother. Moe said that he only stated the specific. It is Kwong's first time saving a person's life. Moe starts to tease Kwong by saying that too bad he is thinking to quit. Kwong said that he is thinking that he should postpond this plan but Moe said that he understand that he is just lazy to type and that he will type the letter for him. Kwong is trying to stop him and he finally noticed that Moe is playing with him. Moe told Kwong that he is intentionally doing this so that Kwong can tell him what he is feeling. Most of his patients have problem expressing what they feel. He now gives Kwong the chance to express what he feel. Kwong told him seriously that he likes to be in PNC.

Episode 9

Chung gave Kit a cup of tea as she works. He told her should she go and watch a movie to relax. She said that she has a lot of things to do. He went to picks up some things in his living room when his phone rang. Kit looks at him and Chung hears his phone. He is about to leave and Kit asks him where is he going. He said that Tung just calls him to have a drink. He said he will be late. Kit wants to go after him but stops herself. She is fustrated. Jing is waiting for Chung at Mary's house. Chung asks her what is the problem as she hugs him. She said that she miss him. He said that she made him so worry because she doesn't pick up his call. Jing said that she decided that she can't face Tung. She wants to leave him. Chung is shock to hear the news. Jing said that she wants to be with him. Chung told her to not be so impulsive. She said that she isn't impulsive...and she asks him doesn't he loves her. Chung said that he loves her but he and her are not meant to be. He will not leave his wife. Jing is unhappy to hear that.

Kit goes to her office and ran into Tung in the elevator. She asks did he drank with Chung the whole night. He answered yes and Kit is relief to hear that. She walks away. Just then a person came to ask Tung about the capture that they made last night. Kit over heard this and asked Tung why did he lie. She said that he knew it all along and he tried to hide it from her. Tung said that he knows that Chung and her have some problem. However, she should asks herself is it all Chung's fault. Why would he have another woman outside. If there is a problem, then some of them should be her causes too. Tung looks at the elevator and told her that he reached his floor. He told her if she has any problem she can call him. He left her while she stands there in shock and deep in thoughts. Tung called Chung and told Chung that Kit knows that he has another woman outside. Chung is stun and he ran to see Kit. Kit is at home and she is standing at the study room, looking at a photo. Chung goes up to her and said sorry. She asks him did they only took so less pictures. He hugs her and told her that he loves her. She asks him does she doesn't pay that much attention to him. Chung said that no matter what, he shouldn't hurt her. Kit said that she is very angry because she doesn't understand why he would do this to her. That is until she discover that they has so less picture with each other. Everytime they want to celebrate and take time together, she is always busy. She realizes she don't know that much about her husband and what he likes anymore. Chung told her that he still loves her and that he doesn't know why he would do that. He said that it is his fault. Kit said that it is also her fault. She asked him does he still wants to be with her. He said yes and that he will never do it again. He will break up with that girl.

Jing and Chung is eating a romantic dinner. Jing is happy and she is eating his food. Chung told her that this will be the last meal. Jing is shock. She asks him what does he mean. He told her that they need to break up because Kit knows that he has another women. He promise Kit that he will not do it again. She asks him does she knows that it is her. Chung shook his head. Jing said that is the point, he could said that he break up with the girl and continue to be with her. Chung said that he doesn't want to hurt Kit anymore. Jing asks what about her. Chung said sorry but Jing begs him to stay. She cried out his name in anguished as he left her crying.

Kit and Jing are hanging out together and Kit is happy. Kit said that Chung has left that girl and he is not going to do it again. Jing is not happy to hear that. Kit thanks Jing for comforting her. Jing said they are good friend. Kit said that they are going to go on a vacation and that she should come. Jing wants to know can Kit really accept this affair. Kit said that she cannot accept it in the first place but after Pang Sir scold her, she realizes that she does have some fault. And beside, Chung promise her that he will not do it again so she is willing to forgive him. Jing said that she can't believe that Kit can be that forgiving. Kit said that she is not that forgiving and that if he does it again, she is not going to forgive him. Jing looks at her with a determine look. Chung calls Kit and told her that he is waiting for her outside. Kit and Jing came out and Chungs feels uncomfortable with Jing there. He gaves Kit a kiss and some flowers. Kit asks Jing does she needs a ride and Jing said yes. However, Chung said that it is not on the way. Jing later said that she would rather walk because she has something she wants to buy. She sadly watch Kit and Chung drove off happily. That night, Jing is sleeping next to Tung. When Tung wraps his arms around her, she pushed them away in disgust. She walks out the room and goes to the computer to type to Chung. She said that she miss him. He didn't reply. She constantly type to him. She sadly looks at the screen and cried. The next day, Kit gives a vacation leter to her head and he asks her why did she takes a vacation in such a hurry. She said that she wants to go to Holland to see a flower festival with her husband. He is happy for her because she is finally acting like a wife. She is happy. Kit is driving home with the two airplane ticket. She happens to pass by Mary's apartment and stops there due to a moving truck. Meanwhile, Chung gave Jing the key back. He told her that he wouldn't be coming back up here anymore. Jing cries and walks to the window. She notice Kit is down there. She saw this and turned her back to the window. She asks Chung for a goodbye kiss. She said that she only wants this little request. Chung is reluctant at first but he walks up to her and gave her one. Kit looks up to the window and saw that the person is actually Jing and Chung. She saw them kissing and is upset with the sight. She drove off and stops at a pier. She bangs on her horn while thinking of what Chung has promise her. She called herself stupid. Just then, Jing begs Chung to stay. Chung leaves her and she starts to cry again. Kit is sitting on the pier and Chung keeps on calling her. She ignores his call. Just then, PNC calls and she called Tung to tell him that she can't make it. She said she won't be able to do it in this kind of mood. Tung is confuse because Kit can always control her mood. Kit just told him that she can't and hang up on him. Chung is waiting for her at home. He decorates the house in a romantic mood but Kit didn't came home. He fell asleep on the couch. Kit finally came home and he is worried about her. She look annoyed at him. He held her and gives her the flower. She throws them all on the floor and slaps him in anger. She told him not to call her because she wants to barf. He asks her what is the problem and that he promise that he won't do it again. Kit said that he promise but who was the girl that he was holding yesterday. She said that she can't believe that he will do it again. She also can't believe it is Jing. He is betraying his friend. Hasn't he thought of how Tung will feel. He said sorry. She asks him how long have they stay together. She notices that it has been a long time and told him that he is not human for doing this behind Tung and her back. She pushed him out of the house and told him that she will not forgive him. Chung said sorry and is pushed out of the house. She sanks down on the floor and cried as Chung pounds on the door, while apologizing. He went to the park and is sitting there. Jing called and she asked him what is happening with Kit, because she miss PNC call. Chung said that she knows everything. He said that she is not willing to forgive him. She asks him what is he planning to do. He said he needs time to think and hangs up on her. Jing is happy to hear the news. Tung came home and asks her did she got Chung's call. Jing said that he shouldn't worry. Jing asks him is he worry about Chung's affair. Tung asks her how she knows. Jing said that Kit told her. Tung told her that Chung should not be serious about the other girl. Jing said that maybe he has feeling for the other girl. Tung said that is wrong and that men should worry about their family and work. Before Jing can say anything else, Tung said that he is busy and he has to go back inside his room to work. Jing looks annoyed with him.

Kit and Tung is holding a little meeting. Kit is about to leave and Tung asks her why did she miss the last PNC call out. He asks her is something wrong. She said that nothing is wrong. He said that she never cut him on the phone before. She said that she is not in the right mood. He asked her to talk to him but she doesn't want to talk about it. Tung said that he understand her feeling. He said that he understand Chung and that she should give him a chance. She said that he doesn't understand Chung and there is a lot of things that he don't know about Chung. He said that he must know him because they knew each other since they were in PTS. She is about to tell him that the other woman is Jing but stops herself. She told him that no matter what, he should spend some time with his family. When she left him, Tung is wondering why she said that.

In the PNC meeting, Kit said that their performance is fairly good. Pang Sir complained about most of their behavior except Hoi Yan and Kwong. Kit said that most of them are either late or at the wrong location. Pang sir told them that he hopes people will not make the mistake. He also said that they are able to solve the problem even before other negotiator came there. He said that they did not perform really well in PTS but they are able to do such a really good job. They ended the meeting and everyone congratulate them for doing a good job. Kwong said that Hoi Yan owns him a dinner because she still own him one from PTS. She said that she knows a place because her friend told her that there is a place is cheep and has a nice ocean view. However, when they reached there, it is closed down for decoration. Hoi Yan said that is not possible because her friend just ate there not long ago. She cames out with another idea. They are sitting near the ocean and Kwong said that she sure has a nice way to treat people to dinner. A nice ocean view with only hamburger to eat. Hoi Yan said that it does contain a nice ocean view. Kwong said that he is willing to accept this dinner because Pang Sir compliment them. Hoi Yan said that it is amazing that Pang Sir openly compliment them on their work. Kwong said that Pang Sir does not say anything most of the time and he said that do deserve that compliment. If it weren't for them, the victim would be dead. She said that Kwong does seems to be a little bit carefree but he is a little bit smart. Too bad he is not working. He told her that he will continue to work. She said that he changes really fast. He said that it is not because of this. It makes him feel happy. It is not the same kind of happiness like winning a game. It is like a warm kind of feeling or an feeling of accomplishment. That is why he is determine to be the best negotiator. Just then Hoi Yan saw a couple and she ran up to the rail. Kwong wonders what is wrong with them. The couple stops and the girl asks the guy does she knows Hoi Yan. The guy told her that Hoi Yan once chased after him before. She said that Hoi Yan is not pretty and he agrees. Kwong over heard that and is thoughtful. He walks up to Hoi Yan and told her that they have left already. He asks her is that her old boyfriend. She asks him how does he knows. He told her that he said it himself. She said that she likes him because he is handsome, smart, and into sport. Kwong asks her why did they break up. Hoi Yan said that she is not pretty enough. When she is at school, she looks very plain. Kwong said that she doesn't look exceptionally pretty now and he can't imagine how she looks when she is at school. Hoi Yan is upset that he could say such a thing while she is so unhappy. He should said something to make comfort her instead. Kwong then told her that she is very pretty and she smiles. He told her that she looks the most beautiful when she smiles. He said that when she smiles, she is definately going to find a person who wants her. She said that whether she has someone or not is not his problem. He said that if no one wants her, then he will take her. She smiles and turns away, while calling him crazy. Kwong told her to think about it. Hoi Yan shyly said "actually she..." she turns around and found Kwong has disappear. She angrily calls out his name. Hoi Yan arrives home and her sister Hoi Hay is packing for her camping trip. Hoi Yan told her to becareful. Hoi Hay said that she knows and she asks Hoi Yan can she borrow her tape recorder. Hoi Yan said sure and Hoi Hay wants to try it out. Hoi Yan panic when she recalls that she stills has Kwong's tape in there. Hoi Hay heard his singing and asks who sang such a horrible song. She also notices that Hoi Yan is very concern about the tape. Hoi Yan said that it is only her friend. Hoi Yan said that Kwong is going to go on a singing competition and that he intentionally gave that song to her so she can gave him any opinion. Hoi Hay doesn't believe it.

Kit is diligently working when her colleagues told her that someone gave her some flower. She tosses them into the trashcan. They told her that it is from Mok Sir and she said that she knows. Her colleague is wondering about it because she has been avoiding Mok Sir. Chung is waiting for Kit outside the police department and when she came out, he chases after her. He took her by the arm and she told him to release her Mr. Mok. She got into her car and he said that they should talk it over. She opens her window and told him that there is nothing she wants to talk to him about.

Episode 10

Kit told him that there is nothing they can talk and that they can't go back. She drove off with Chung chasing after her car. Tung saw this and thinks that Kit is too awful. Chung said that it is not Kit's fault. He asks Chung is he alright. Chung said that he is alright. Tung said that by looking at his face, he doesn't looks right. They went for a drink and Chung told Tung that he is right. He shouldn't do something wrong to Kit. Tung told him that people makes mistake. He also asks Chung about his relationship with the other woman. Chung said that he has stop seeing her. He desperately wants Tung to believe it. Tung said that even if he believes him, it wouldn't matter because it is Kit that needs the convincing. Chung said that he has tried to contact Kit for a lot of time but she doesn't want to see him. He wants her to give him another chance. Tung said that Kit is mad right now so he should not bother her right now. Tung will try to talk to her instead. Chung believe in Tung. Tung goes back home and he told Jing that he saw Chung. Jing is worried about Chung and Tung told her that he wants to help Kit and Chung out. He asks Jing to go see Kit so that she can talk to Kit about it. Jing is reluctant and said that she can't just butt into their problem. Tung said that she must help and he kind of force her to see Kit. On the next day, Tung drove Jing to see Kit. He waited inside the car, while Jing goes up there. Kti has just barely finish talking to her lawyer when her doorbell rang. She opens the door and Jing told her that Tung told her to come. Kit said that she must have not know that Jing is having an affair or else he would not tell her to come. Jing said that she have something to talk to her about. She said that she and Tung's problem she will take care of it. Kit said that she can't believe that she will betray them and that the most innocent one is Pang Sir. Jing said that Chung is not happy with her. She told Kti that she never understand her husband. If she does understand her husband and if he is happy, he wouldn't have find her. Only with her will he be happy. Kit screamed whether Chung is happy or not is not her problem. Jing walks away while Kit slams the door shut. She is angry with that confrontation.

Chung is seeing his head and he seems distracted. Chung said that he has some problem at home. His supervisor told him to relax because chung looks depress. He said that he could handle it. Hoi Yan said that Chung looks depress. Everyone is worried about him because he is acting abnormal. He is usually very organized but he seem disoriented these pass few days. Kwong comes over here and asks what is going on. They told him nothing and called him a busy body. Still Kwong asks what are they talking about. Hoi Yan told him that they are talking about Mok sir and that he seems like he has change. Kwong said that he notice this change because Mok Sir doesn't even notice him when he said hello. Kwong believes that it must be troubling over something. He said that men are trouble with only two things. 1) lady and 2) money. With Mok Sir's position, he should be trouble with money. Hoi Yan said that it couldn't possibly be woman because his relationship with Kit is good too. Kwong said that they won't know about that beside, Mok sir is coming. They invite him to have breakfast with him. He refuses. He got a call from Kit and he is extrememly happy. Kit called him to tell him that she is filing a divorce and that she has already pack his bag. He is shock about this news that he walks right into a burning hot soup. They called the ambulance for him. Hoi Yan and Kwong stay behind to see him. He only has some minor burns. Chung notices that his wedding band is missing and he is worried about it. Hoi Yan keeps it for him. She gave it to him and she said that she tried calling Madam but she is not responding. Mok sir told her not to call. Hoi Yan said it won't be too much of a problem. Mok sir told her that Kit won't come. Hoi Yan asks why but Kwong interupted her and said that they are busy. They left him behind as he stares at his wedding band. Hoi Yan asks Kwong why is he rushing her. He said that negotiator's skill is not only use for emergency. There are times where you need to use it so you will be adapted to them. Hoi Yan asks him what does he means. He said that something is obviously wrong by the way he looks when Hoi Yan mention Madam infront of his face. He said that Mok sir always looks at the wedding band and Kwong also notice that Mok sir walks right into the hot soup without any expression. When Hoi Yan continues to look thoughtful, he said that he has already gave her enough information as a observer. Does she needs the subject to act it out so that she will know. She said that she knows that they have some problem but she doesn't think that it would be that serious. They then got a call from PNC. When they arrive to the scene, the subject has already come down. They appologizes to Pang Sir and Kit for their tardiness. Pang Sir said that he will inform them about the case. Just when Kit is about to leave, Hoi Yan told her that Chung is in the hospital. Kit is uncaring about the news and that shock Hoi Yan and Kwong. Pang Sir asked them how is Chung and they told him that he is fine. He only has some burn. Kwong and Hoi Yan is leaving in the elevator and they were discussing about them. Hoi Yan said that she felt sorry for Mok sir. She then discover she left her pencil upstair. Kwong said that she is clumsy.

Tung and Kit is discussing about her relationship. She told Tung that she is divorcing Chung. Tung asks her does she has to go so extreme. She should give him a chance. He has already break away from the other woman. Kit said that she doesn't want to be with Chung to remind herself that she is once so stupid. Tung said that he don't understand. Kit said that there is a lot of things he don't understand. If he wants to understand it, he should asks his wife about it. Kit walks away, leaving Tung confuse. Hoi Yan and Kwong heard the whole thing.

Tung goes home and asks Jing what does Kit mean when she said that Jing knows everything. He asks her who is the lady. Is it Mary. Jing said yes. He can't believe that Jing knows about it without telling him about it. He scold his wife for not preventing it. Jing founds out that Chung is in the hospital and is worried about him. She told her husband to go see him. Tung is upset with this finding. Chung is touching his ring when Tung and Jing came and looks at him. Tung said he knows everything. He said that he already scold Jing. He also asks did Kit came to see him. When Chung didn't say anything, he told him not to worry and that he will get over with it once he gets back to work. He said that he will take care of him. As he and Jings leaves, he told Jing that if she has time, she should go and see him. She should cook some soup for him because he doesn't have anyone over here. And Tung don't believe that Kit will see him. Jing is happy to do so. For the next few days, she cooks for him and take care of Chung. One night, Chung tells her to go home because it is late. She wants to stay with him so that she can be with him a little bit longer. He told her that he is fine. She told him that if she doesn't see him, she will miss him more. He notice the injury in her hand and she told him that she is fine. They hold hands together.

Kit comes to see Chung one time and he is estatic to see her. She came there to tell him that she has already sign the divorce paper. Chung asks for another chance and she said that it is not possible. He said he won't sign it. She said it will be affective anyways after two years. She left him there. While she is walking away, she saw Jing happily coming over there. They both walk pass each other with a determine look on their face. Jing came to see Chung and she found him depress. He cries that his relationship is over. He is very sorrowful about his ending with Kit. Jing hugs him while he cries. She tells him everything will be fine. They talk a walk and Chung said that he feels that he is useless because he hurts so much people. Jing said that Kit is really mad at her and that they can't be friends. She said that she was unhappy but she doesn't want to bother him. He said sorry to her and she told him that she wants to be with him. She told him that they shouldn't hide their feelings anymore. He hugs her. However, he doesn't want to lose his friendship with Tung and hurt him. Jing said that she will talk to Tung about it. Just then, Tung comes walking over there. Jing wants to tell Tung about it, but Chung interupts her. He told Tung that he wants to go out of the hospital but Jing told him to stay in the hospital. He believe that some of things should take time. Tung said that if he is still not fine then he should stay a little bit longer. He and Chung went out to eat because Jing said that she is full. Chung came back to the room and Jing asks him why didn't he let her told Tung about it. Chung said that he don't want to hurt Tung. She said that she don't want to lie to him anymore. She wants to be with him officially. She hugs Chung and Chung said that he understand but he and Tung has been friends for such along time. He wants to be with Jing but he don't want to hurt Tung. He don't know what to do. Jing said that she knows what to do. She will run away with him. This is the only way. He said that they can't. He said that he can't just leave. She said that he only need to quit. She said that kit is leaving him and that her relationship with him would explode. He will have to face Tung and everyone. She understand his feeling. Tung is his best friend and she understand that he is under a lot of pressure. She wants him to know that she does everything for him and that she will always be with him no matter what is his decision. He is touched with her words.

Chung's supervisor wants him to stay but he is leaving anyways. He wants to know why but Chung don't want to talk about it. He is very determine to leave so his supervisor accept his decision. Hoi Yan went to microwave her food when Mok Sir came in to pack his stuff. Hoi Yan came into the department just intime to see Mok Sir leaving. She asks him what is going on. He told her that he quit. She wonder why he quit. She asks him is it because of Kit and he told her that he is already getting a divorce. He told her that she has always performed good. She only has to work hard. He knows she can do it. Hoi Yan looks confuse.

Kwong asks Hoi Yan what is their business that Kit and Mok Sir is divorcing. She said that they have to think of a way to help Mok sir. Kwong said that he could help him with game but he can't help with these problem. She said that he is a negotiator, then he should be able to help with these problem. He said that they have decided then there is nothing he could do. Hoi Yan don't understand why this would happen. He always treated Kit so good. Kwong said that if she knows, then she wouldn't be sitting over here. He does feel it is a little bit wierd because he is getting a divorce and also quitting his work. He believes that there is something that is affecting his behavior. She said that even though Mok sir does did something wrong, Kit doesn't have to go that extreme. There got to be some other way to solve it. Kwong is looking at her thoughtfully. He said how would he know. He said it is between them. He said that if she wants to know, she should sleep under their bed. She is insulted with his words, while Kwong is telling her he is joking. She said that since they are going to PNC meeting, why don't they go there early to talk to Kit about it. Kwong think she got to be kidding. He is annoyed about it. At PNC, Hoi Yan drags her to Kit. Kit asks them how come they are that early. Kwong wants to escape this so he said that she is busy so he won't bother her. Before he could walk away, Hoi Yan told Kit that Mok sir has quitted. Kit seems disgusted to hear this. Hoi Yan continues on to say that she knows that Mok Sir wants to see her and that Kit should go and see Mok Sir. He really needs her comfort right now. Kit said that she understand Hoi Yan's concern but she doesn't want to talk about it. Hoi Yan is about to say something but Kit insisted that she doesn't want to talk about it. Kwong notice that Kit is upset. One of their head came to tell them of a celebration. He is giving them red envelop. Kit told them that they will have to write two cards because she and Chung is seperating. She then walks away. Everyone is shock about her news. Kwong gave Hoi Yan a disappointed look because she upsetted Kit and butted into their business. Hoi Yan looks unhappy.

Tung goes back home and Jing is cooking for him. He asks Jing does she knows that Chung and Kit is over. He said that he can't believe Kit. It is suppose to be a personal thing between them jet she announced it to everyone that she is seperating. Has she ever thought of Chung's feeling. How can he face his colleague. Jing seems annoyed and uncaring about his words. Jing said that they have decided this path and that they should not bother them about it. He wanted to call Chung but she said that he might want to be alone. As she fills up the rice bowl, he told her that his parents want to eat her food so they will go and visit them later. He also told her that one of his supervisor has a daughter that is getting married and she should help him buy the gift. He noticed Jing's silence and asks her is there any problem. When Jing didn't say anything, he said that he knows that she is very stressful for doing so much things. She have to take care of him and yet take care of Chung. He said he will watch a movie with her tommorrow. She said that she has an appointment for facial. He tells her to cancel it because he is free. He said to wait there at 7:00. In the next night, he waits there by himself and she didn't show up. He calls her and she didn't pick it up. He is fustrated with her disappearance. When he got home, he notice she is not home. He finally notice that all of her clothes are gone and all of ther make up is gone. He saw a note with her wedding band over there. She wrote that once he saw this letter, she is leaving him. She felt that they are two different people and that they are not compatible. She knows that he won't notice it. He don't have to find her. She won't be in HK. She hopes this will not affect him but she thinks it might not affect him at all. She told him goodbye. Tung asks what is she playing. He therefore called his mother in law to find Jing. She said that Jing never did call her. He gave her an excuse by saying that he is thinking to go to a vacation with Jing and he was thinking to take her with him. He told her that he won't bother her until everything is figure out. After hanging up with her, he is confuse.

On the next day, he went to find Chung. Hoi Yan is there and he asks where is Chung. Hoi Yan told him that Chung will not be here anymore because he quitted. Tung is shocked because Chung didn't return his call and he never did told him. Hoi Yan said it is very sudden too. Tung unconsiously said that they both diappear at the same time. Hoi Yan asks him what did he just said and he told her nothing. He walks away, leaving Hoi Yan in confusion. Tung then goes to see Kit and she said that she is busy. When Tung told her that Chung has quitted, she is unconcern. She asks him why is he looking for Chung in such a hurry. He told her that Jing has suddenly left. He wants to know what is going on. Kit asks him does he really don't know. Tung tells her to tell him about it. Kit told him that the person that Chung is with is Jing. Tung doesn't believe it. She said that they have been together for a long time. Tung said that the person that Chung is with is Mary. He knows that Kit is mad at Chung but she don't have to pull Jing into it. Kit told him that Mary has left HK for two years already. The place that they rent belongs to her. Kit saw them going to that apartment and she saw them kiss with her own eyes. Tung is stun and he said that he would not believe it. He told her to not say any more words that offend Jing. Kit said that it doesn't matter whether he believes or not. Now is the time for him to face the fact. Tung is disturbed about the new information.

Episode 11

Tung is calling for Mary and he left her a message. He told her that Jing is his wife. He hopes that she will call him back. As he hangs up, he accidently drop Jing's ring. It roll under the desk and he found the bottle over there. He opens the bottle and looks at the message written on the paper. He is perplex about the finding.

Kit is clearing out her desk and she is tossing everything that Chung has sent her. A colleague of her asks her to play with them and she told them that she is busy and she is on call for PNC. She has some stomach ache and she doesn't feel like she wants to go. Her colleagues discuss about Kit's relationship with Mok Sir. The cleaning lady came in and Kit told her to toss everything for her. Her beeper rang and it is a call from PNC. A woman is committing suicide because she said that people in her company is forcing her to do this. She (Kiki) has an affair with one of the manager and she wants the manager to leaves his wife. She felt that everyone is against her. Kit became the negotiator and Kwong is the observer. Hoi Yan is the informer. Kiki said that she don't need any help. Kit introduces herself and said that she should calm down. Kiki starts tossing things at them, while Hoi Yan and Kwong get information. Kit said that they are trying to contact the people that she wants to see. But Kiki thought that she is talking about TY (That is the guy she is having an affair with) wife and his family. She treatens to jump off the building. She said that they all don't want her to be with TY. TY don't loves his wife. His wife don't even understand him. Only she can make him happy. Kiki just don't understand howcome everyone will try to seperate them. Kit said that she understands how she feel because she is a married person. Kiki said that she won't understand. Kit insisted that she does. She said that if she is the wife, she will allow her husband to choose the path he wants to go. As Kit negotiate with the subject, she walks up to Kiki. She told Kiki that love is not wrong. But your love cannot hurt other people and hurt yourself. She told Kiki that nobody want something to happen to her, while extending her hand out to her. Kiki took Kit's hand and leave the window. Hoi Yan and Kwong have been observing this negotiation for the whole time. Hoi Yan is thoughtful over what Kit has said. After the job is done, Hoi Yan and Kwong is talking to each other at the elevator. Hoi Yan can't believe that Kit could go into Kiki's perspective. Kiki is the one that is wrong. Kwong said that is what an expert PNC could do. No matter what the situation is, they should be able to step into their perspective inorder to save the subject. Hoi Yan said that she can't do that. And Kwong told her that is why Kit is madam and Hoi Yan is not. Hoi Yan said that she thinks Kit is too cold. She said that Kit even said that love has no wrong or right. Why isn't she willing to give Mok Sir a chance. Kwong disagree with her. He said that Kit must have her reason for doing so. Hoi Yan asks him eagarly what it is and Kwong said he don't know. They reached outside the building and saw Kit. They notice she doesn't feel that well. Hoi Yan took Kit home while Kwong has to go back to work. At their home, Hoi Yan once again asks Kit why isn't she willing to give Mok Sir one more chance. Kit said that she doesn't want to talk about it but Hoi Yan continues to persuade her. She said that when Kit is negotiating with Kiki, she even said that love has no wrong or right. Hoi Yan really believe that Mok Sir really loves Kit and that he quit his job because of her. Kit told her that he didn't quit the job for her. He quit because he don't know how to face his friend. She then told Hoi Yan that the person that Mok Sir was having an affair with is her best friend. Hoi Yan is shock to hear that. Kit said that she could not forgive him for that. Hoi Yan said sorry because she didn't know about this situation. She also told Kit that she once thought Kit is too cold. Kit smiles at that. Ashame of her behavior, Hoi Yan asks Kit is there anything she could do for her. Kit said yes. She said that if Hoi Yan will just hang out with her some times, then she will be happy. Hoi Yan smiles at her. On the next day, Hoi Yan is talking to Kwong while he is typing in a computer. She told him that no wonder that Kit is not willing to forgive Mok Sir. He is having an affair with her friend. If she is in that situation, she won't be able to forgive him too. She said that we really mistake her. Kwong interupts her and correct her by saying that it is her that misunderstood Kit and it is not him. Hoi Yan asks him how did he knew about it. Kwong said it is quite obvious because Mok Sir is only getting a divorce from his wife. Why does he have to quit all of the sudden. Something must not be right. Hoi Yan wonders who that person is. She wonders is it anyone from their police department. Kwong told her he don't know. He is not a god. Hoi Yan wonders who it is.

Tung got a call from Mary, while he is working. She asks him what is the problem because it seems very urgent. He asks Mary has she been emailing with Jing and Mary told him that she haven't because she don't even know Jing's email address. Then Tung asks her does she has an apartment in HK. She told him that she has and that Jing rent it from her along time ago. She said that Jing wants to use it as an art room. Tung asks her for a favor. That night, Tung goes to Mary's apartment and as he walks around the apartment, he starts to recall back what Jing said to him in the past. She once told him how she wants to decorate their room and he saw the room that she and Chung share is decorated like that. He spotted the picture that she took with Chung and he is angry. He also spotted the receit for their flight.

Kwong is playing game in his computer when Moe comes in. Kwong told him to not bother him because he is beating the game. However, just when Moe sat down on his bed, he lost. Moe told him that he is going to LA tommorrow and Kwong nods his head knowingly. Moe asks is Kwong going to see him to the terminal. Kwong said that Moe has a girlfriend and that she should be the one that is escorting him. He don't want to bother her. Moe asks him does he need him to bring anything to LA. Kwong pretends to not know what he is talking about. Moe said that he is planning to drop by Kwong's first love's (Ada)place. He asks does Kwong want him to bring anything to Aday. Kwong said that he is crazy and that his relationship is over. He also said that Ada has a boyfriend now. Moe added that even though she has one, she always get his present every year. Kwong said that he is just being friendly. Moe told Kwong to go and court Ada back and Kwong said he is not interested. Moe left Kwong and he continues to play game.

Jing and Chung is staying at a hotel. Jing just finish talking with her parents when Chung comes up to her. He asks her did she told her parents what is going on between them. She told him to not worry and that her parents will understand. She said it will be fine. She also told him that they could not go back. Chung looks depress. She seems happy and she starts to dream about their future.

At the airport, Moe is annoyed with Kwong as he instructed Moe to not lose the present. Moe teased Kwong by saying he thought Kwong was busy. Kwong sheepishly smiles and told him that he is scared that Moe is going to get lost in such a large airport. Moe said that he will just give it to her and Kwong is happy to hear that. Just then, Tung is walking around the airport looking for Jing and Chung. Kwong has just barely escort Moe to his terminal when he saw Chung and Jing together. His eyes bulges and mouthed no way as he watches the happy couple. He is confuse at the sight. He later ran into Pang Sir. Pang Sir acknowledge him. He finally notice Chung and Jing. He punches Chung and Jing stood up to him. He told Jing to move away and tell her to come back home with him. She said that she is going to be with Chung. He said that she will have nothing with Chung and she answers what will she have with him. A unwanted gift. The same old purse. Or the track mill that he brought for her. She said that for all these years, she had enought. He don't even notice that she don't even use the purses that he brought for her. He constantly believes that she loves pink but she haven't wore pink for many years. Everytime she opens the closet, she feels disgusted. She can't handle him because he never understand her. He never hear what she have to say and that he always believe in things that revolve around him. On the last night of the dinner, she thought it is really funny. She said that the person that is suppose to understand her the most couldn't even sense that she wants to leave him. She slept really good that night because she knows that she don't have to see him again. Jing then walks away with Chung. Tung saw Kwong and Kwong chased after Tung in deep concern. Tung warns him to not tell anyone about this and Kwong swears he won't. Tung walks away while Kwong looks at him. That night, Tung screams out in fustration as he thought back Jing's words.

On the next day, a person is going to get marry and he needs some advice from Tung. Tung told him to not spoil the wife or else it will be trouble. He acts happy but in fact, he is sad. Kit later gave him a document and saw him in his office. She notices that he has injured his hand. He told her that he finally found Jing and Chung at the airport. He couldn't help it and socked Chung. Kit told him to just let it go. Tung starts to blame Kit for the problem that excisted. He said that if she would have just told him earlier, this would not have happen. He said that Chung is not like this. It is because she isn't a good enough wife to him that he goes and have an affair with Jing. Tung said that she is the main one at fault. Kit is mad at his irresponsibility. Sarcastically, she said that she is at fault and that everyone is wrong except him. Tung said that is correct. Kit said that he is unreasonable and left him in anger. Tung goes home that day and his parents asks him where is Jing. He told them that she is in Canada. They wonder why did she suddenly go there. Tung told them that she is bored so she went there. He asks Bo what is she doing (that is his younger sister). He found out that she just found a job but quitted after two days of working over there. She complains that the owner is too picky. Tung said that she should be working and she complains that it is hard to find a job at this kind of market. Even college students are having a tough time. Tung said reminded her that she only graduated from high school and that if she find a job, she will be lucky. He told her that she should forget it and go back to school. When Bo heard that he wants to sent her to Europe to go to school, she quickly told him that she will look at the newspaper and find a job. Tung said that if she can find a job, the sun will rise from the west. Just then, his younger brother "Ah Leurn" comes home. Tung asks him how come he is dress so causual. Leurng told him that after work, he went to learn how to swim. Tung scold him that he should use these time to learn something. Leurng tries to go back to his room. He yells at his mother for spoiling them. He heard that they are not opening dinner until his older brother and wife is home. At their restuarant, a woman called Que is ordering food. She is very sexy and likes to flirt with boys. Gwok Fue is treating her very well. She flirts with him as he turns into puddle under her glance. He asks her does she wants to play majong with him and she said that her husband is so poor that she don't have any money. Fue said that he will pay for her and she is happy to hear that. She left him just as his wife comes in. His wife asks him why did he give out free stuff to the customer. Fue answered that they must do something to lure the customer in. She said that he is not as nice to her. He got into an arguement with her as they talk about money. She complains that he promise her to go to a vacation and he never did. He told her that they don't have money after each monthly payment they have to make to Tung. She didn't believe him because she knows how much he gets and their payment to Tung will not affect their trip. She then went on a rampage and starts to ask him what did he did with the money. They went to the back to continue their arguement. Just then, Tung's mother called over there. One of the worker told them that they are fighting at the back. Fue's wife is complaining about her marriage with him. She said that she is always suffering with him. If she has known this will happen, she would not have marry him. She wants a divorce. Just then Tung and his father came over there to stop them. Tung starts to scold Fue's wife. He said that Fue is at least responsible and he at least provide for the family. Can't she even understand that. Tung said he don't even understand women. If marriage is so easily breaken up then people shouldn't get marry in the first place. Fue's wife coward away from him as he asks her did she really want a divorce. If that is so, he will sign one up for them. She said that she is only complaining and that she don't really mean it. He said he hates women that disrespect marriage. Fue is happy that he yelled at his wife but he earns a yelling from Tung. Tung said that it is his inability that causes his wife to be displease. That night, after dinner, Tung leaves some money to his mother before he left. He said that the household is so silent that he feels like he is in a library. Once he left, they said that it is not that they don't want to say anything. It is just that he is on a rampage right now and they don't want him to start firing at them. They notice something is wrong with Tung and they each refuses to talk to Tung because they are scared of him. Tung went out to work in a gym. From his department, his follower has just finished their case. They believe they can finally rest. Pang Sir came out from his room and gave them a bunch of case. These cases have already been there for a long time and they haven't been solve. Just then Kwong walks in and Pang Sir asks him is he looking for him. Kwong nervously said no and that he is looking for one of his colleague. That guy told him to meet him in the cafeteria. Pang Sir told them that because these cases were unsolvable that they need to solve them so that they can clear off their files. Therefore, it will not affect their records. He want to prove to everyone that he is able to solve all kind of hard cases. Everyone looks at the files in dismay.

Kwong is hanging out with his friend as he tells them about his first negotiation experience. They told him that he is exaggerating and they admire Kwong for doing so good in PNC. Kwong gave one of his friend a game. Just then, one guy came over here and told them that he knows why Mok sir and Kit has to divorce. Kwong is stun. He told them that a friend of him saw Mok sir is taking a romantic walk with a woman and that woman is Pang Sir's wife. Kwong panics and said that they can't be sure about it. There are a lot of people that looks the same. But that guy said that his friend really saw that clearly and that it is definately them. Kwong looks dismay and he quickly told them that they cannot just believe in what people said completely. If yoiu didn't see it then you should not believe in it. Yut wondered why Kwong is so concern about it. Kwong said this deal with their reputation so you should becareful what you said unless you are sure about it. Kwong looks relief when they all agree. Back in Pang Sir's office, they are complaining that Pang Sir would make them try to solve these old cases. A girl colleague told them that Pang sir's wife went to Canada so he has a lot of time. They then went to Guan Yue to pray that Jing would come back early so they don't have to suffer that long. Just then their colleage (that was at the cafeteria) came back and tell them to not pray. He said that Jing will not come back. He starts to tell them about the rumor when Pang Sir walks in. He over heard what that guy said. He told him to come in and scold him for a report that he have written. The guy try to explain but Pang Sir didn't listen to him. Before that guy can leave, Pang Sir asks him where did he heard that rumor from. He is unwilling to say. Pang Sir asks is it from Kwong. The guy panic and said it is not but Pang Sir does not believe him. He didn't let him explain. Pang Sir said that while he is still under him, he will still have to follow under his command. Tung hopes that he will not say anything that is irrelevant in his department.

Kwong is happily reading a document that he wrote when Hoi Yan ran up to him excitely. She told him that the girl that Mok Sir is with is Jing. Kwong looks annoyed. He asks her where did she find out about it. She said the whole police department knows. He said that the rumor can't possibily be true. Hoi Yan thinks it is true because of what Kit told him. As she rambles off, Kwong said that they should not worry about it. Hoi Yan said that she is only worried about Kit and Pang Sir. After what Kit have went through, she is now being judge by other people. Kwong interupts her and told her that Pang Sir and Kit is able to take care of themself. He said that the only thing we could do is to ignore the rumor and that will lessen their pressure. Hoi Yan looks at him in amazement. She said that she is amazed by what he said. He always acts kind of crazy but when he is placed in these kind of situation, he acts really mature and understanding. Kwong is happy about her compliment. Kwong said that he is using his wackiness to hide the sensitive side of him. Hoi Yan gave him a weak smile. To prove his point, he shows her some documents that he wrote. It is about PNC. It is about his call out and experience. He told Hoi yan that if people are interested in it, he is thinking to put it in the PNC website. He is very excited about it. Hoi Yan is interested in looking through them. She reads the first sentences and said that they never got called out in the morning. He told her that if she is reading it, she should not goes against what he is saying.

In PNC, all of the members are reading Kwong's writings (besides Kit and Pang Sir because they are not there). Kwong is annoyed that they only finds fault in them. He is about to take them back, when they told him that it is interesting. He seems pleased with the results. Hoi Yan read a part where she thinks that is really good and Kwong is really happy about it. Pang Sir came over there and asks them what they are reading. They told them that Kwong wrote these story about them. Pang Sir then told them that they are going to meet with the reporters. A sudden interest about their work have spark in the community. He told them that in the interview, they could not tell the reporter about any of their method of negotiation. Also, they cannot leak out any information about the subjects. He is looking at Kwong when he said that. He told them that they should watch what they said. Everyone said okay and they went to gather at the meeting room. Pang Sir called Kwong back and warned him one last time to watch what he is saying. Kwong is astonished about this warning and he asks Pang Sir is it because of the rumor. He wants to tell Pang Sir that he is not the one who spread the rumor but Pang sir interupts him. He said that those are the past and he doesn't want to hear about it anymore. He just want Kwong to be aware of what he is going to say because what he says could affect other people. Kwong is shock to hear Pang Sir warning him.

Episode 12

Kwong is sitting on his chair unhappily as his fellow negotiators continues to talk to the reporters. Hoi Yan told them about their experience. The reporters want to know about the secret about the cases but Kwong told them that they could not reveal their subject's information. He told them that they have talk for a long time already, so they ended the interviews. As everyone leaves, the reporters stop Yeurng Kwong to asks for more information. They told him that they are working people and with these kind of information, the will not be able to meet the requirement that their boss might want. Kwong told them that he understand their predicament but there are things he could not say. The reporters understand and they shrugged their shoulder. Kwong and the others are discussing where to go out to eat when one of their colleagues got a call from someone. He accidentally put Kwong's writing on a pedestal and left without getting it back. The reporters tried to tell him that he left something behind but that guy just continues to walk away. As they look at the file, the reporters find out that it is about PNC cases and they kept it.

Kit went into the cafeteria and heard people mumbling about her husband's affair. She is kind of upset at hearing this. Yut saw Kit's discomfort and goes and scold the two people that are mumbling. He is concern about Kit because they have a raid and she is only drinking coffee. After the raid, Kit is telling them what to do. Yut notice that she doesn't feel well and he told her that they can handle it. Kit nodded her head and went into her office. Yut came in to talk to her. He told her that he notices that her health have not been good these past few days. Kit said that she can handle it. Yut told her that he understand that her divorce must drain her a lot of energy. He also told her that she should relax because human is not steel. Kit agrees with him.

People in Pang Sir's colleagues are working hard and one of them complain that the suspect has already leave HK. Pang Sir heard that and asks him does he want to go home. That guy quickly answer no. Kit walks in at that time and she nervously told Tung that she wants to talk to him. Tung nodded his head and told her to come in. Kit sat down, while Tung asks her what is the problem. She told him that there is two things she want to talk to him about. The first thing is what happen last time. Tung quickly told her that he don't remember what happen last time (this is refering to the arguement where Tung blames Kit for being at fault for everything that has happen). Kit is relief and happy to hear him say that. The second thing is that she doesn't feel well and that she want to relax. Tung asks her is it because she can't handle the rumor. He told her that she should not relax just because of this. He said that she should focus on her work so people would think that her divorce has no affect on her. Kit explains that the reason why she wants to take a vacation is because she really feels tierd. She don't think that she is in the right condition to go on call. Pang Sir told her that if she does take this vacation, people will increase the rumor. Kit said that she don't care how people think. Tung said that if you don't care, you would not have take a vacation. Kit said the one that care about is you. Tung is stunned about her comment. She told Tung that he should be like her and relax. She understands how he feels and she believe by taking this vacation, it is able to help her get herself back to the condition she was before. Tung told her specifically that this affair has no affect on him. Kit looks down in dismay and said nothing.

Tung then went to Jeurn Sir and told him that Kit has requested for a vacation. Jeurn Sir approves of it and told Tung that he works too hard. He has to care about PNC and he has to care about his department. Tung said that he can handle it. Jeurn Sir told him that he knows that at the past, he first saw Tung and believe that he has potential. However, he knows that Tung is the kind that cannot lose. He told Tung that he understand his predicament because he once has a problem with his marriage but they are able to work it out. He told Tung to not work that hard. Tung said that he can handle it. Jeurn Sir told him if he wants someone to talk to, he will be there. The master can be the friend of his student. Tung heard this and smile. He said he will.

Hoi Yan and other fellow negotiators are looking at the newspaper and they complains that Kwong get such a huge picture on it. Kwong cautiously told them to not talk so much about it because Pang Sir told them that they should keep a low profile. The complain that they got so little picture except Kwong. Kwong is proud of it. They keep on compliment him. Hoi Yan asks Kwong why would he say such a thing. Kwong doesn't see the problem but Hoi Yan told him to listen further. She read out loud that Kwong discover that the subject's mood is out of the ordinary...and Kwong is surprise about it. He took the newspaper and is confuse about it. They asks Kwong about it because none of them has heard Kwong saying that in their interview. Kwong said that he never said those things and they heard what he said in the interview. He notice that it sound so much like the document that he wrote. Kwong looks around the table and everyone said that they don't know about it. Kwong and Hoi Yan look worried about this because if Pang Sir knows about this, they don't know what will happen. Just then, Pang Sir and his fellow two negotiator are talking about the newspaper article. The other two negotiator, Mai Tai and someone else, said that Kwong might talk too much because this is his first interview. Pang Sir is upset to see the newspaper article. He said it is lucky that other newspaper didn't make a big deal out of it or else PNC's reputation will go down the drain. Jeurn Sir came in and told them that he got a phone call from the girl, who's profile is being display in the newspaper. She said that after that newspaper came out, people were prejudice against her. Jeurn sir told her that they will apologize. This is not a serious deal but it will affect people's trust in PNC. He told Tung to take care of it. Tung said he will. Later in his office, Tung told Kwong to look at the newspaper and explain himself. Kwong looks downward and told Pang Sir that he never did leak out any information. Pang Sir said that the newspaper specifically indicate that he is the one who said it and the information written within the articles is very accurate to the report that Kwong has written for PNC. Kwong said that he looked at it and he agreed that it does have its similarity. Pang Sir thoughts that Kwong admits to do it but Kwong told Pang Sir that he is a mature person and he knows what to say and what not to say. Pang Sir said that other people he will believe this but for Kwong, he won't. He said that Kwong once promise that he won't tell anyone about his wife's affair but he eventually said it. Kwong is offended and said that Pang Sir's and Madam's rumors is not spread by him. He never did leak out that information. Tung interupts him and told him that he doesn't have any trust. He told him that this situation made Jeurn Sir to apologize to the subject. If he would only personally apologized to the subject they will think it over. Kwong didn't admit to his fault. Pang Sir asks him what kind of attitude is he displaying. He is wrong and yet he doesn't admit to it. He told Kwong that he never did thought that he could be a PNC but someone thought he could. He knew that Kwong is not fit to be a negotiator. Kwong is really angry and admit that he is wrong. He is not right for this position. Therefore, he quit. Since Pang Sir is not able to trust in him, then working under him would mean nothing. Pang Sir nodded his head. Kwong told Pang Sir that he will give him the letter a few days later. He then walks out, while Pang Sir looks offended. Hoi Yan ran up to Kwong and before she can asks him what happen, he walks pass her and told her that he don't want to talk to her. She looks shock. They meet at the pier and Hoi Yan is shock to hear that he is quiting. She said that he can't quit because Madam believes in him. Kwong said that he will not apologize for something he didn't so. Beside he thinks it is no big deal because it is only PNC. He said that he Pang Sir never did like him. Ever since he walked into PTS, Pang Sir has always hounded on him and right now, he is using this excuse to kick him out. Hoi Yan agrees but they always are partner. Now he left her alone. He told her to not worry and that now he is free. He has more time to play. Hoi Yan can't just let him quit so she went to find Madam. Kit wonders how come Hoi Yan came there with a basket of fruits. Hoi Yan asks her how she is doing and Kit told her that she has adapted to single life. Hoi Yan said that she came her too...Kit interupts her and said is it about Kwong. Hoi Yan is shock to discover that Kit even knew about it. Therefore, this must be a big deal. Kit asks her how can Kwong be so careless. Hoi Yan told Kit that Kwong is not the one who said those things. She believes in Kwong. If he said that he didn't do it then he didn't do it. He sometimes is carefree but under certain circumstances, he can be very serious. Kit said that it isn't really a big problem because Pang Sir didn't kick him out. It is Kwong that quitted. Hoi Yan said that he wouldn't quit if Pang Sir is willing to listen to Kwong. But Pang Sir doesn't believe Kwong and he wants Kwong to admit to something he didn't do. Kwong of course will not admit to it. Kit believes that Kwong does has potential and she thinks that if he quits for this then it is a loss. Hoi Yan asks her eagarly does she has a plan. Kit told her to look for the reporter so he can clearify the situation and she will try to talk to Pang Sir about it. Hoi Yan is happy to hear this news. That night, Hoi Yan is angry because Joe, the reporter, is constantly trying to advoid her calls. Hoi Oi is wondering why is Hoi Yan is so concern about it. They thinks that she is in love. Hoi Yan thinks that Hoi Oi is wierd because she constantly thinks like this. She said that she should do this for a friend. Hoi Hay went up to Hoi Yan and told her that she has sent a lot of email to the reporter and he still didn't reply. Hoi Yan suspects that he is up to something. Therefore, she decided to go to find him at the place that he works. Hoi Oi agrees to go with her because she wants to get an autograph album from them. Hoi Yan asks Hoi Hay to go with her too, so that they will have a huge group but Hoi Hay told her that she wants to study tomorrow. Hoi Yan agress that she should be studying and didn't tell her to go. On the next day, Hoi Yan and Hoi Oi went to the reporter's company and asks the receptionist to look for Joe. Hoi Oi eagarly asks for the autograph album and after getting it, she wants to leave. Hoi Yan's glare made her stay behind. The receptionist told them that Joe is there. She called up to find Jimmy but Joe told her to tell them that he is not there. Stuttering, she told them that he went out for an interview or a case. Hoi Yan and Hoi Oi is suspicious of his behavior. Hoi Oi asks Hoi Yan what to do and Hoi Yan decided to sit outside of the building and wait for him. Hoi Oi is constantly complain and unable to withstand her, Hoi Yan told her to go home. Hoi Oi eagarly goes home. Hoi Yan notices that her shoelace is untie and bend downward to tie it. Just then, Joe come out of the building and looks around him before he starts to walk. Hoi Yan saw him and starts to chase after him. She finally caught him when they hit into a barrel and fell down. Hoi Yan latches on to his shirt and told him that she have something important to ask him. Joe admits to his defeat and said that he will answers all her question.

Kit, Hoi Yan, and the person that left that document is in Pang Sir's room. Hoi Yan explains to Pang Sir that it was all a misunderstanding and that Kwong is not at fault. The reporter only read the document that Kwong had wrote and he made it up from there. She took out a paper and told Pang Sir that the reporter has verify his testimony by writing this letter. Pang Sir looks at the letter and he shows no expression. The other negotiator apologizes for not telling them that he is the one that drop the document in the first place. Kit said that now that every thing is clearify, they don't have to solve the problem anymore. She warn the guy to not make the same mistake again. They both left so that Kit can talk to Tung. Tung admits that he is wrong for blaming it at Kwong. Kit told him that he puts too much pressure on himself. That is why everytime he takes little situation and puts them at the extreme. She told him to relax. Tung admits that he is wrong but he doesn't agree with Kit. He said he never did feel any pressure. Kit nonchantly said okay, but she is gleeful to hear Tung admits to his fault. She asks him happily does he wants her to help him say sorry to Kwong. Tung said that he can handle it. She smile knowingly.

Kwong is drinking with his friend in the cafeteria and told them that he is not working over there. They asks him is he really quiting PNC and he said that he is. They admit that he won't be happy if he is forced to go. They are wondering would they be able to make it in the next test. Kwong is upset and told them even if they let them be PNC, they shouldn't take it. Kwong is mad that he didn't do something wrong. He just dosn't like Pang Sir. That is why he quits. They thinks that Kwong is being too extreme and told him that if he detested Pang Sir so much, then he should just write a memo about it and post it on the bulletin board. Kwong likes that idea, but before he can expands on it, Hoi Yan came running to him happily. He looks at her while she happily tells him that she helps him clearify the matter. She told him what happen and Kwong looks satisfy. He asks her then what. Hoi Yan said that he could stay in PNC and that they can continue to be partner. Kwong's friends told him that it is fate. Kwong shook his head and is still mad about the fact that he got blamed for something that he didn't do. Hoi Yan asks him what does he want and he acts a little bit mad and is cocky. He said that if they want him back, Pang sir will have to apologize. Hoi Yan looks a little bit worried because she knows that it might not be possible. On the next day, Kwong is sitting in Pang Sir's office. Kwong is wondering why did Pang Sir wants to see him and Pang Sir told him that they have clearify the situation so he could stay. Kwong said that he don't know. He said that Pang sir doesn't trust in him so he should not stay. Pang Sir said that he treats everyone equally and who ever that can help him, he will value them. Kwong said that he remembers that he once told Pang Sir that he didn't tell anyone about his problem with his wife and yet Pang Sir didn't believe him. Pang Sir said that this is not the topic that they are talking today because that is his personal life. Kwong then goes into saying he told Pang Sir specifically that he didn't tell the reporters anything yet Pang Sir blindly believes that he did without looking through the evidence. Is he really treating people equally. Pang Sir is a little bit offended at Kwong. However, he admit there was a little bit misunderstanding. Kwong is happy to hear that. Pang Sir told him that Kwong is a smart guy and that if he stays, he will be a good negotiator. Kwong admits that he can be a good negotiator, and Pang Sir is happy to hear that. However, his happiness is scatter when Kwong said that he could be a good negotiator but he might not be in this team. Kwong said that he feels that Pang Sir is always hounding on him. They can't work happily together. He requests to change to another team. Pang sir told him it is no problem and that he admits that he does have judgement on him. He hopes that Kwong will not keep that in his heart. He gave Kwong's letter back and Kwong told him that he will think about it. After their meeting, Kwong is eating with Hoi Yan in a restuarant. He is happily telling her about his meeting with Pang Sir and reacting his part. He told her that he wants to tell Pang Sir to switch to another team but since he is so old he would not treat him like that. Hoi Yan saw that he could joke and is glad that he is fine. He thanks her for her help and playfully attempts to kiss her. Hoi Yan moves out of the way and said that he is crazy. She told him that by treating her to dinner is not enought. A beautiful girl came walking pass and Hoi Yan saw him staring at her. She asks him is she really pretty and he said she is. Hoi Yan is a little bit jelouse but this feeling is left behind when he said that what he is looking at is not her beauty but the patch that he has on her jacket. Hoi Yan asks what is so great about the patch and he said that he has been looking for it for a long time. It is from Soviet Union and he wasn't able to find it. He told her to go back to the main topic. She told him that he has to go watch a ghost movie with her. Her sisters doesn't want to watch it and she has been looking for someone to watch it with her. He asks her is it only this simple. Hoi Yan taunts him by saying is he scared. Kwong said that he is scared that she was going to tell him to marry her. Hoi Yan fake throwing up while he asks for the bill. They were discusing about the movie after they watch it. Kwong doesn't think it is scary but Hoi Yan thought one part is. She is shivering and Kwong asks her why isn't she wearing a jacket. He teases her by saying is she saving it for her marriage dowry. She said even if she is, it isn't his problem. He said that by the way it goes, she has a long way to save. Hoi Yan is offended about it and said he doesn't always have to insult her. He said he wasn't insulting her. He just said that by the time that she saved enought, she would have freeze to death. Hoi Yan rambles off but is cut off when Kwong put his jacket around her. He told her to wear it and she asks him is he cold. He said he isn't and she secretly smiles at his concern. A bus pass by and Kwong turns to her anxiously because they need to catch the bus. When Hoi Yan stares at him, he takes her hand and drag her to the bus. She smiles happily at his. That night, Hoi Yan is looking at Kwong's jacket and she wear it while she fell asleep. She woke the next day and found the jacket is missing. She found out that her mother has washed it. However, her Hoi Oi's zipper has ripped a hole on his jacket. Hoi Yan panics until someone told her that she can take one of those patches and cover it up. Hoi Yan remembers that Kwong like that Soviet patch and went everywhere to find it. She finally went to a store and found one guy holding it. She asks the manager and found out that patch is the last one. She begs the guy to give it to her and he finally agrees. She is happy to have it. That night, she sew the patch (when I mean patch..it is a cloth that has a specific symbol on it) on it while her sisters and her mother admires her handiwork. They also question her is she doing this for her boyfriend. Hoi Yan said that she is only correcting Hoi Oi's fault and she is only treating this guy as a friend. She told them that Chuen and the person that sang the song to her is different person. They keeps on asking her question and she told them that she doesn't knows how he thinks. She doesnt' knows whether she likes him because she only thinks that she is happy to be with him. Hoi Oi told her that if she loves someone, she would do something that is out of the ordinary and she proves her point with the reporter. She then tells Hoi Yan to observes Kwong's behavior. If he shows signs that he likes her, she should go for it. Hoi Hay argues that girls should not be that agressive. Hoi Yan pushed them back to bed while she ponders about this. On the next day, Kwong is taking the pulse of his friend to see what kind of sickness he have. He told his friend he ate something wrong. To his friend's surprise, he does have some stomach ache and ran out of there to go to the restroom. Kwong greets Hoi Yan and she gave him back his jacket. He asks her did she washs it and she said ofcourse. While holding it, he discover that there is something on it. He is happy to find that Hoi Yan has sew the patch that he likes. Hoi Yan told him that her sister accidently ripped a hole on it so she found this patch to cover the hole. Kwong said that it broke at the right time and he admires Hoi Yan's handiwork. He told her that not a lot of people could do handiworks as good as she can. Hoi Yan is pleased to hear this. He wants to treat her to lunch but she said that she brought lunch. He is about to leave when she sneezes. Kwong gave her a bag of tissue.

Everyone is in a lunch break and Hoi Yan is left with her lunch box. She said that she should not have brought her lunch box. Just then, Siu Wing Jea (it is an old woman that work in her department) came in and told her that she has so much things to do that she don't have time to eat. She smells Hoi Yan's curry pork and said that she loves to eat curry. Hoi Yan eagarly said that she is full from today's breakfast and that she doesn't feel like to eat. She asks Siu Wing Jea does she wants her food. At first Siu Wing Jea refuses because she doesn't want Hoi Yan to starve but finally accepts it when Hoi Yan insisted. When Siu Wing Jea leaves, Hoi Yan is happy. She wents down to the cafeteria and is eating with some of Kwong's colleagues. They are complaining that Siu Wing Jea has took Hoi Yan's lunch box and force her to eat outside. Hoi Yan is distracted as she tries to look for Kwong. She said it is fine. Kwong is surprise to find him. He saw that she is eating chicken and he is concern. He told her to not eat it because she is sick. He helps her order something else and she suddenly sneeze again. He asks for her wrist so he could see what kind of sickness she has. Hoi Yan shyly gives her wrist to him and he told her to wait. He helps her make a drink. He tells her to drink it and he has to leave. He didn't eat because he has to help her. Hoi Yan is happy. Just outside, Gui Suk asks him howcome he is nice to Hoi Yan. Is he trying to chase after her. Kwong said that if treating people nice means that he is trying to court her, then Gui Suk has been so nice to him so is he trying to court him.

Hoi Yan and Madam is playing tennis and Hoi Yan is horrible at it. Hoi Yan compliment Kit about her vigor and Kit notice that Hoi Yan is very happy. She tease Hoi Yan is she dating and Hoi Yan shyly said no. Kit smile knowingly and said that she will find out no matter what. Hoi Yan asks Kit how is her vacation in Japan. That reminds Kit of giving Hoi Yan a gift and showing her pictures. Hoi Yan notices that one guy is constantly standing next to Kit in the picture and asks Kit is there something going on. Kit said no and that she shouldn't be that sensitive. They went for another round.

Back in Kit's department, they are discussing what they could not talk infront of Kit. They are discussing what they cannot say and they were going to the extremes. They can't even mention shower. Kit walks in during their discussion and laughs when she over heard their silly conversation. She happily told them that she is fine and gave them some gifts from Japan. She then went to Tung's office and told him that she is ending her vacation early. He notices that this vacation has help her relax and she said that he could do it too. He don't see the necesity in it. She said okay and said that she is ready to be on call. She then walks out of his office.

Tung's father, mother, and Bo is worried about Tung's behavior and they decided to go into his house to investigate about Jing. They discover that everythings that belong to Jing has disappear. Just as they panic about the situation, Tung arrives back home and caught them red handed. They sat down to talk. His mother asks him why. It seems like they got a call from their mother in law and that is why they came here. Tung said that their personality don't match and that is why they seperate. He is the one who break it up. His family want to talk this over with Jing but Tung told them to not worry about it. It is his marriage and he will take care about it. Back at his family restuarant, Tung's father and mother is discussing Tung's marriage with one their co worker. They just don't understand how come it took them so long to realizes that their personality doesn't mix. Just then, one of the worker is going to deliver an order to Que's house. Gwok Fue heard this and is eagar to do it. His father and mother wonders about his eagarness. Gwok Fue arrives to Que's house and she flirts with him. She invites him into her house.

I notice that I am putting too much details in these synopsis...too much that I am actually writing the whole script down. I will try to lessen the amount of information so that I can finish more episodes.

Episode 13

Gwok Fue goes to Que's house to deliver her order. She is glad to see him and openly flirts with him. She told him to come in and Gwok Fue gladly does it. She told him to sit down as she went to grab a bowl of soup for him to drink. As he drank the soup, she is asking him how does it taste. He told her that it taste good. He promptly drops the spoon when she touches his hand. She is concern did he burn his hand but he ends up holding her hands. She told him that she is so bored over here and that she wants to go to Macaw (Oh Moon) and her husband don't have time. She slyly said that she is thinking to go by herself. Like she predicted, Gwok Fue said that would be dangerous and he volunteer to go with her. They flirt with each other.

Hoi Yan is helping the community center to decorate their place for a celebration. Cheun is putting the lightbulb in to the slot and she told him to becareful. Two young teenagers came in and asks Hoi Yan does she need any help. Hoi Yan said of course and told them that they have a lot of things to do. These two teenagers said they will help and they went to Cheun and asks him does he want any potato chips. Cheun is touched that they asked him and he took a hand ful of them. They told him that he took so little. Cheun said that he wants more but he is only able to grab so little. The two teenagers then took a bowl and left some to Cheun. Hoi Yan is happy to see that the people in the community center is getting along with Cheun. As she works, she suddenly hear Cheung said "Yeurn Kwong." Hoi Yan brushes her hair and stood up. To her disappointment, Cheun is actually refering to the sun. He walks up to Hoi Yan and asks her is she busy this Sunday. Hoi Yan said that she is busy and she notices the disappointment in Cheun's face. He said that he wanted to go to an ocean park with her and Kwong. Once Hoi Yan hears Kwong's name, she said that she is not busy and can go. Cheun is happy and Hoi Yan told him that she will asks Kwong if he is busy. She is secretely smiling. She went home that night and told her mother that she mention about Sunday. Her mother said that she remembers that this sunday they will have to go to the temple. Hoi Yan said that she discover that this sunday is not a good day to go to the temple and that they should change another day. She then walks into her room. Hoi Oi got the point and said that she is busy too. She then told Hoi Hay that she believes that Hoi Yan has a date. Hoi Hay smiles and said that she is actually busy on that day. Their mother is suspicious of their words because they never did mention about it until right now. When they told her what they suspect, she is so happy. Hoi Yan came out of her room and is wondering why are they all smiling in a wierd way. She notice that her mother is packing her lunch and she told her mother that she is not bring lunch to work anymore because her time is so unpredicatable. Her mother is so happy that she forgot that Hoi Yan has once told her about this and she has already packed this one. Therefore, she told Hoi Yan to bring it to work one last time. Hoi Yan is upset. The next day, Hoi Yan approaches Siu Wing Jea and told her does she wants to eat her lunch box. Siu Wing Jea is suppose to meet up with another person to eat and is suspicious why Hoi Yan never eat her lunch box. Hoi Yan sheepishly smiles and said that she is full from today's breakfast. Siu Wing Jea is about to help her eat it until she discover it is curry again. Hoi Yan told her that it is chicken instead of pork this time. When Siu Wing Jea is about to refuse because too much hot food would make a person hot temper, Hoi Yan ran out the office and promise that she will buy some fruits for her to eat. At the cafeteria, Kwong is berating Hoi Yan for being so nice. He is also mad at Siu Wing Jea for taking Hoi Yan's food all the time. Hoi Yan said that it is alright when Kwong said that he should talk to Siu Wing Jea about it. Hoi Yan then told him that Cheun has brought a new shoe and he wants to show it to him. Kwong slightly acknowledge this fact. She then shyly asks him is he free this Sunday because Cheun want to go to an ocean park with them. She is disappointed to hear him say no because he has promise to meet up with his friend. Hoi Yan said that she will tell Cheun about it but Kwong told her not to because he could tell that Cheun is going to be very disappointed. Therefore, he will just have to ditch his friend. He said that they will think that he is going to be on a date. Hoi Yan asks him why would they think that way. Kwong answers that none of them would believe that he would ditch his friends to go play with Cheun. They will instead thinks that he is ditching them to go out with her. Hoi Yan shyly asks him is he really just ditching his friend entirely just for Cheun. Kwong smiles at her and told her no. He teases her and told her that he is doing it just for her. Hoi Yan is happy to hear that. Just then, Siu Wing Jea came to see Hoi Yan. Kwong wanted to scold her but Hoi Yan starts to push Siu Wing Jea out of the cafeteria while telling her that she is bringing the fruits up there. Siu Wing Jea leaves and Kwong asks Hoi Yan what is going on. Hoi Yan answers that she have to bring something up to Siu Wing Jea. He told her to finish eating first and she said that she will be back. Kwong wonders what is going on with her. On Sunday, they went to an ocean park happily with Cheun. Kwong and Hoi Yan went on a ride while Cheun takes picture of them. As they are walking, Kwong and Cheun coax up a plan to fool Hoi Yan. Hoi Yan is walking behind them and is looking around. When she looks ahead, they have disappear from her sight. She looks frantically for them. They creep up right behind her and pull her legs. She screams and went chasing after Kwong while beating him up. Cheun stops in the middle of the chase as he looks at a happy family. They are taking a picture. Hoi Yan and Kwong stop fooling around when they saw Cheun looking so down. Cheun said that the family look so happy and that he never have a family. Kwong said that they could take picture. Cheun said that with them, they can be a family. They took a picture together happily. Cheun then took a picture of Kwong and Hoi Yan. He told them to get closer and Kwong puts his arm around her. Hoi Yan is happy. Cheun keeps on taking picture of them both and he later told them that he is hungry. Kwong plays a trick on him using marshmallow. What he does is that he took two marshmallow in one hand and tosses one high up in the sky. As Cheun focus on one of the marshmallow, Kwong quickly puts the other in his mouth to make it looks like he caught it. Cheun is amazed at that trick. That night they took Cheun back home and gave him his pictures. They said goodbye to him. As Hoi Yan and Kwong are walking home, Hoi Yan said that Cheun looks happy today and asks Kwong did he have fun. Kwong said that he did and he would like to play one more time if he have time. They saw a poster that has a singer name "Mue." She is holding a concert in HK. They both wants to go and watch it. Hoi Yan notice there is a bus and Kwong got in it. He gave her their pictures and said goodbye to her happily. Hoi Yan smiles at his departure. At home, Kwong looks over their pictures and smiles at them. Moe comes in and Kwong asks him did he bring back anything. Moe said no and he attempts to leave but Kwong stops him. Kwong asks him how was it and Moe pretend that he doesn't know what he is talking about. When Kwong asks him how is LA, Moe starts giving an accurate weather description of LA. Kwong is a little bit annoyed at Moe for teasing him. He finally asks how is Ada. Moe told him that he gave the gift to Ada and she has her boyfriend with her. He then told Kwong that she is going to get marry with her boyfriend. Kwong is disappointed to hear that. Kwong asks him in a steady voice did Moe help him congratulate them. Moe said no because Kwong never did told him to. He is concern about Kwong and asks him is he alright. Kwong said that he is fine. Moe then notice the pictures that Kwong and Hoi Yan have took together. He said that no wonder Kwong is fine because he already has another girl. Kwong said that he is crazy and that they are only friends. Moe said sure and he said that he should give her a try. He then left Kwong as he types unconsiously at his computer. His eyes went back to those pictures and he is thoughtful as he goes through them.

Next day, at work, Kwong has placed some of the pictures on his locker. He took a can of pepermint candy and played the same trick that he played to Cheun. His friend don't think it is cute and Kwong thinks that he is not romantic at all. Just then, one of Kwong's colleague came and told them that he has Mue's concert tickets but he isn't able to go. Kwong brought it off from him. He goes out of his locker room and Hoi Yan happens to pass by. She greets him and he shows her the tickets. She is amazed that he went an brought it. She said that she is thinking to go and buy them after work. Kwong told her not to because the line is long and it seems like they sold out. She asks him who is he going to see it with and he told her he was thinking to ask her if she is has time. Hoi Yan is estatic and told him that she does have time. Kwong said that is settle and she is smiling when he walks away.

Kit has invited all of the PNC team A memebers to the bar to drink. They are welcoming her back and happily celebrating with her. Kwong said that she is healthy looking. They are hounding on Kwong's decision on whether he is going to stay or not. Hoi Yan said that he should forget about his anger to Pang Sir because Pang Sir is the kind that could not put down his pride to admit he is wrong. Kwong is mad and said that Pang Sir is not the only one that has pride. He told them to not talk about this and they went to throw darts. Kwong brags that he is the best dart thrower in his department. Hoi Yan said that she is worried about him and Kit asks her is she really worried about Kwong. Hoi Yan quickly said that it is Kit who is really worried about Kwong because if she isn't, then she wouldn't invite Kwong to this PNC hangout. Kit told her that the person that invited Kwong is not her but is Pang Sir. Just then, Pang Sir came in and he walks up to Kwong. He welcomes Kwong back into PNC but Kwong told him that he is still deciding. Pang Sir said that if he is still deciding, he would not have come to this gathering. Kwong said that he came here to see his old friends. They then decided to throw darts to see who will win. If Kwong wins then Pang Sir will have to apologizes to him. If Pang Sir wins, Kwong will have to go back into PNC and under his team. Kwong throws first and he hits the bulleyes. Hoi Yan is nervous because she doesn't want Kwong to leave, while Kit looks on nonchantly. Kwong told Pang Sir to apologize but Pang sir said that he has not thrown yet. Kwong watch in astonishment when Pang sir's dart hit right on the bulleyes while knocking off Kwong's dart. Hoi Yan is happy with the results. Kwong admits defeat and he told Pang Sir that one day he will beat him. Pang Sir told him that he hopes Kwong will not make him wait that long.

At Pang Sir's home, he placed down a bunch of European school brochure and told Bo to look through it. She is shock that he really wants her to go. He told her that it will be good for her to learn thing. She turns to her father but he isn't able to help her get out of it because Tung insisted it will be good for her to learn how to be independent. Just then Gwok Fue walks in and greets them. Tung looks at Gwok Fue happy behavior. Gwok Fue is fixing himself up while whistling happily away. Just when he is about to step out of the door, Tung confronted them. Tung asks him how come Fue haven't paid him the montly bill yet. He asks Fue is he gambling again. Fue denies it. He took out a beautiful necklace and said that he actually spend the money on this necklace. He said that it is his wife's birthday and he wants to buy this necklace to her. Tung believes him and let him go. In Que's house, she is dressing up beautifully. Her husband, Sing, came home and he notice that she is dressed up beautifully. She told him that she is playing majong with her friends and he told her not to gamble so much. When he starts to question her sudden increase of new clothing and items, she starts to yelled at him for being suspicious on her. She called him poor and left him. He looks disappointed. On the next day, he walks into a resturant depress. He orders a cup of coffee eventhough he is really hungry. Just as he settle down to look for a job in the newspaper, he heard two people from his exjob talking about Que's infedility. He is mad and he made them tell him where she is. He ran out of the restuarant to look for her. Que and Gwok Fue has just came out of a motel and are flirting with each other. Just then, Gwok Fue got a call from his wife and he goes home. However, before he left, Sing happens to saw him kissing his wife. Sing ran after Gwok Fue's car but is not able to catch up. Que saw Sing and tries to run away but Sing caught up to her and slaps her. She told him to beat her to death. She called him useless and that she married the wrong man. She walks away while leaving Sing angry and stun. He swear he will kill Fue.

At their restuarant, his wife is hounding on Fue's behavior. She is wondering is he gambling and he playfully tell her not to yell at him or else if Tung hears him, he will make them get a divorce. Just as they are playfully arguing with each other, Tung came in with an unhappy Bo. Tung's parent told Fue that Tung just went to apply Bo's name for an European school. Tung berated Fue for not being a good brother. He went to the restuarant. Bo told her parents that she doesn't want to go to school. She is fustrated that they always listen to Tung. Just then Sing comes in and starts to try to slice Fue. Everyone ran out of there in panic. He cut Fue on the back. Tung came out of the restroom and when Sing saw him, he took Bo and held her hostage. Tung told him that he could help him but because Tung is Fue's family, he doesn't want to talk to him. Fue's wife is mad at Fue for having an affair. Tung came out and told them that he could not negotiate with him because if a case deals with their own family memeber, they are not able to handle the case. Just then, PNC memebers came. Kwong is the negotiator and Hoi Yan is the informer. Pang sir is the observor and he told them all of the information. He told Kwong that he must get his brother out first because he is bleeding. Kwong goes in there and he tries to talk to Sing. Sing told him that he has already murder someone and he can't escape jail. Kwong notcies that Fue is still moving and told him that he has not commited too bad of a crime. He would not have to go to jail for a long time and that they could help him. Sing said what good will that do. He has nothing. He sadly told them that he loves his wife. He wants to give her everything but he is poor. He wants to give her the life that she wants but he isn't able to. Now he has nothing. Kwong said he believe that he is a good husband. He asks him does he still loves his wife. Sing requests to see his wife. Kwong promise that he will bring his wife here. Pang sir disapprove of this procedure. Kwong said that as an exchange, Sing will have to let them rescue Fue. Sing accept. Pang Sir signal to Kwong to come out with him and Kwong dismisses himself. Once they are outside, Pang sir yelled at Kwong for making that decision. He told him that one of the rule in neogotiation is that the third person cannot be in the negotiation. They might affect the mood of the subject, especially in Sing's case. Kwong disagree and told him that he also learns that under circumstances where the negotiation cannot proceed any further, the negotiator have the right to call in the third person to accomplish the negotiation. Pang sir disapprove of Kwong's action and wants to complete the negotiation himself. Kwong told Pang sir he can't do that because the subject and Kwong has already built a bond of trust. If he change negotiator right now, he would only affect the subject's mood and the subject will view that they are not respecting his needs. Pang Sir is about to refute his suggesting when another PNC memember told Pang Sir that Sing wants to see Kwong. Kwong told Pang Sir to trust in him and that he knows what he is doing. Pang Sir said that he will allow Kwong to do it this time and told some of the people to start looking for Que.

Hoi Yan is trying to convince Que to go to Sing but Que refuses to. She said that it is not her problem and that with her husband's state of mind, she can't be safe. Hoi Yan notices that she is planning to leave. Back at the restuarant, Kwong is trying to calm Sing down. Sing is panicing at each passing second. Hoi Yan arrives to the scene with Que right behind her. She told Pang Sir that she did some convincing and that they are ready. She reassure Que about her safety. Kwong hears that Sing's wife is here and told Sing. Sing is so happy to see his wife that he scares her with the knife. Kwong told him to step back because he is scaring his wife. Sing told his wife that he didn't mean to scare her. He asks her does she knows how much he loves her. She said that she knows. He told her that he promise his mother that he will go back up to China to see her. He promise to bring his wife. But right now, he could not do it. He tried to commit suicide. Kwong told him to not do it because he tells him that his mother would want to see him and his wife. He turns to Ques and told her that Sing still loves her. He is constantly calling out her name. Hasn't she any feeling at all?
