    If you have a Chinese last name, which wuxia figures bear it?

    My last name is Lin or Lam in Cantonese. Unfortunately, I can only think of Lin Pingzhi (and his family) and Lin XianEr, 2 despicable characters.

    Do you know other characters named Lin?

    (luckily in real life, I have Lin Ching Hsia to claim)

    I've the same surname as HYS's wife... Even though it's not an uncommon surname, it doesn't seem to entice wuxia writers very much.

    Oh yea, I recall that from somewhere, I think it may have been the game Jin Yong Qun Xia Zhuan... I have never read the book but heard it somewhere. Thanks.

    It seemed like Jin Yong used a lot of uncommon surnames though.
