    Post Ming Cult

Everyone knows that Ming Cult or Ming Sect originates from Persia, it comes to the Central Plains during the A.D 6th Century, with over 33 leaders until the reign of Zhang Wuji, the 34th.

Now I'm always puzzled by this mysterious cult:

    1. What is the main religion of this Ming Cult / Sect? Definetly not Buddhism or Taoism, some people say its Manichaeism or even Zoroastrian, but what does this religions means at all? Since there are monks such as Shuo Bu-De and taoists such Tie Guan in Ming Sect, so what religion they practice?

    2. Does people during the era of The Demi-God Semi Devils knew the existance of the Ming Cult / Sect? Now, can people of the Xiaoyao Sect withstand against these Ming Sect people if they were to fought against each other?

    3. The Ming Sect manual, Qian Kun Da No Yi has been in existance from the Ming Sect's inception in the 6th Century, until Zhang Wuji found in, have been in existance for around 800 years. Supposedly, this means that this martial arts is probably even older than most of the martial arts in DGSD, so is QKDNY practical against powerful martial arts such as 6 Mai Shen Jian, Bei Ming Shen Gong?

    4. What about the Xiaoyao Sect's library and Shaolin Sect's library, whom boast to contain details on martial arts all over the Central Plains, do they contain information on Ming Sect?

    5. Does Ming Sect still exists in the Ming Dynasty?

Of your various questions, this the only one I can confidently answer. No. The Ming Cult was one of the first casualties of Chu Yeun Cheung as he forged the Ming Dynasty (ironically, he took the cult's name for his dynasty even though he destroyed the cult). Some time after Cheung Mo Gei abdicated the Cult Leader position in favor of Yeung Siu, Chu Yeun Cheung launched a major purge of the Ming Cult that eliminated all of its senior leadership. That left Chu in a position to consolidate his power after driving the Mongols out of China.

    1. Not sure about the first question. But all I kno is that they worship fire.
    2. I think they did knew the existance of Ming cult. Ming cult started as early as Tang. Which is one of the earliest references that the book makes. And all the fighters are well known. In HSDS, near the end of 2nd book, it gave a quick history of the leaders. During N Song, there was a famous fighter, but that person never showed up in DSGS.
    3. QKDLY is the most upper class XiYu kung fu. But overall, the logic are still inferior to the best in Mainland. At that time, QKDNY may be thought as definitely inferior to Mainland kung fu's not because it is really actually is that far from Mainland kung fu, but because no one reached a good level ( the highest at that time was 4).
    QKDLY users (how strong)
    1. ZWJ- 1st and only to reach 7th level.
    2. Creator (anoymous)- From Persia. He reached 6th level. His internal was inferior to that of 9 Yang.
    3. 8th generation Mainland Ming Cult leader (can't remember the exact name. Also, this person most likely exist during the end of Tang): Before ZWJ became leader, Yang Xiao gave an explantion of QKDLY's history in Mainland Ming Cult. He said out of all the leaders, 8th generation was the strongest. According to records, he reached level 5, but died the sameday he reached that level. From then on, no one ever surpassed level 4.
    4. Probably, but only Mainland, not Persian.
    5. Well...., the Ming Cult is the Ming Dynasty, so Ming Cult technically doesn't exist anymore.
