I just finished watch this series and I think it's that sad like Stairway To Heaven. And I think LW is great here. Hopefully he have more series in the future.

I'm watching it right now. It's sort of like a different version of STH, with things flipped around a bit, but I think I'm liking Heaven's Tree more. Probably because of Lee Wan. His acting is really good. The story is quite sad though.

I just finished watching this series and was quite disappointed with it. I was really hoping for something meaningful. It felt like a waste of my 10 hours. Thought I'd give it a try since it was only 10 episodes but it turned out to be a drag to watch, it gave me such a headache. I'll definately steer clear from melodramas from now on.

The first half of the series was not bad, I actually thought it was kind of sad but after Yoon Suh leaves Hana and joins a yakuza it goes down hill from there. The series got sillier and sillier after that. A lot of things in this series didn't make sense and things weren't explained, such as how and why Yoon Suh ended up joining a yakuza, why did Maya all of a sudden become a madam of a club, how come Maya all of a sudden fell in love with Yoon Suh, Hana got hit by a car, why did she need a heart transplant, etc. It's like all the things that happened in the last half of the series was written just for drama even if it didn't make any sense. And what is up with all the flashbacks in every episode? All that time could have been used to explain the gaps in the story. The last half was really repetitive as well. And the ending, I really disliked it. It's really too bad, with the storyline in the beginning, this series could of had some potential.

Lol I think it's a first for Korea to do a 10 episode drama? Maybe cause of that they overlooked a lot of important scenes

I don't know but My Love Patzzi was about 9 or 10 episodes and it wasn't so choppy. I think 10 episodes would have been sufficient if they hadn't included so many flashbacks in almost every episodes.

If it has 10 episodes and with the usual k-drama flashbacks, the story can't be much. I have this drama and am about to start on it. How does it compare with winter sonata ( awfully slow, I could reduce it to 5 episodes) and stairways to heaven (Choi was wailing half of the time)?

have you finished watching it? I can't find the time to watch it nowadays so just manage to sneak at first and last episodes. How did she end up needing his heart? Did she have a heart problem or was it due to some violent act?

ok..its nice seeing lee wan and that leading girl again (from STH) paired up again.. lee wan was approachable and direct towards the girl in STH (the fountain scene and school scenes in STH) . This time the roles are reversed. Am still on chapter 1 by the way
