Because of chinese pinyin, “侣” pinyin is lv.

The 'lu' in 'Lu Ding Ji' and 'lu' in 'Shen Diao Xia lu' are pronounced differently.

'v' is used to 'u' with the 'umlaut', or the two dots above the letter 'u'.

the condor trilogy are the most famous, but Duke OF Mount Deer is too...but i find DOMD to be not up to par with the trilogy, it was funny but...there just wasn't the element of Heroism that i enjoy in martial arts novel.

DGSD's is definitely one of the best novel.

the book and the sword isn't so bad either.

Crimson sabra although isn't that good a story but it was still quite likable.

Like MrIllusion says, 'v' stands for Ü. If u use those pinyin chinese input program, u will get the character 侣 when u type 'lv'.
