I liked the first 9 epi.. then the rest became a drag... quite a disappointment for me no doubt that Shaowei's acting has again improved but I found his acting in this one scene a little over the top-- the scene which he wanted to break up with Xiaobei on the pretext that he's fallen in love with Ke Lan. Remember he's the cool and tough Er Qi but the way he portrays that scene he's like a baby crying out loud he's probably trying to portray the immense hurt he had in him that even the coolest guy like him can't take that kind of hurt but sorry it came out really distastelful for me... I was expecting Er Qi to hide the hurt that he had in him till Xiaobei's departure in that scene and crying solemnly in Ke Lan's arms and not ... crying outwardly in front of Xiaobei...

Yeah, Anna is Xiao Bei's mum. Nearer to the end (Episode 19), the truth will out but Artz won't find out until Episode 21.

The girl in the picture above is another actress who acts as Ye Ke Lan - she ends up with Richie in the end. She also appeared in Frog Prince as Dai An Fen - some b**** who went to school with Tian Yu.

I don't know what your discs look like but the girl in the black-laced dress dress is most probably the girl who acted as Ching Kong, Artz's former girlfriend who comes back to complicate his life, thereby throwing a wrench in the works, as what usually happens in quite a lot of series!

So sorry I don't know their names though.

The other guy from 183 Club is Johnny but he won't appear at all in this series although he will appear in the MVs.

I been watching on 8tv at 7pm almost from the beginning. it about 15 or 16 episodes already and I it a good show. I like it as much as I like Prince Frog. I would recommended that you see it cos the story plot also is good. I believe it only have 22 episodes..so about 6 episodes to go before finale.

The box set has 22 episodes but the version being shown on 8TV should have more episodes cause they broke the episodes downs into smaller parts. My guess is that they'll air it as 30 episodes instead of 22. That's most probably because they were doing it like Frog Prince in Taiwan - filming and airing the series continuously by the week (every Monday, if I'm not mistaken).

I've been watching this drama from 8tv.. every episode..last episode this monday(7/8/2006)... so gonna miss it afte it finshes..

i dunno if u guyz noticed.. but there's this character who goes by the name "hua chai"..he's "sum ko/xen ge"'s "right hand man" and a good friend of er qi... he appeared qute a number of times.. he was da one who was tracking er qi down.. he was also the one who sent er qi's son, xuan fong to ke lan...and he helped when er qi and fei nan du frame Dai of amour wif da gal...i heard rumours from frens saying tat he's malaysian.. can anyone gimme more info on him??i kinda like his acting.. please... thx..

Personally, I haven't watched the full drama. I've only seen like parts of the drama and the ending. At first, it seems a bit weak, you get the feeling like it's just the same as the other dramas. But as the drama goes, you really start to enjoy and you sometimes just find yourself getting all jumpy and giggly in sweet and romantic moments and ruthlessly ticked off with the antagonists. This drama also stars a few famous stars in the near ending as sometimes antagonists and some just extras; like Ambrose Hsu, and an actress from Devil Beside You (the girl Qing Zi)

I always find myself contemplating over what to do or what to even think of Du Ya Si's (Ming Dao) grandma. Sometimes her craziness to get them together is just way to over the top that you find yourself laughing and sometimes even with an eyebrow-raise. Just like when Grandma Li Lian locks them in a storage closet being continously sprayed with pesticide just to let them privately talk! And when they faint she thinks they're doing IT! After about a half hour, they realize there must be something wrong. In the end, the couple end up in the hospital for pesticide poisoning. Imagine! your own grandma watching you and your girlfriend (or boyfriend) making out in a storage closet from the surveillance room. Then, still cheering the two of you on as well, you almost lose your life.

Another one, where I find Xiao Bei absolutely soo annoying is when she let's Qing Kong (Ya Si's ex girlfriend) win the stylist face-off because of Qing Kong's injured hand. But still in the end, Qing Kong tells the truth that she stole Xiao Bei's drawings to enter the British Magazine in the UK which wins "Best Design".

About the extras in the nearing end, I couldn't help but hate Ambrose Hsu in the drama. He not only told Mango (one of the Ya Si's hairstylist) to push Old Bei (Xiao Bei's father) down the stairs causing to end up in the hospital not being able to watch his daughter compete in the stylist face-off, but he also tampers with the Niu Niu Machi (can't remember the spelling) hair products that was used for Neo-Image customers. And about Qing Zi, she portrays an outdated pretty little princess of pop. She's not really an antagonist nor a protagonist. She's just the extra. She asks David Yao (Ambrose Hsu) to change her look and to make her the not-so-outdated princess of pop. Basically, she was only in about 2-3 episodes.

And lastly, I hated Xiao Bei's so-called best friend. She promised that she wouldn't go back to Neo-Image for a haircut. Xiao Bei even makes a bet with Ya Si that if she goes there to get a haircut then Xiao Bei will have to work as the hair-washer girl in Neo-Image and if she doesn't Ya Si had to be the hair-washer boy for the Zhong Nan Barber Shop. The next day, Xiao Bei's 'best friend' gets out of the house early in the morning to get a haircut personally from Du Ya Si and she even ends up as one of the assistants! If I had a friend like that they wouldn't even be my friend! Who does that! Even in the end, I still hate her!
