of course he is serving in Taiwan. All boys must serve in Taiwan since they are afraid China will attack them one day...

I think you should give a try mysticdust. I think you may like it. I personally did and I can say that besides Frog Prince and this series, I have never liked a modern series in my life.

Trinie, do you like K-drama? If so, I would recommend "Save the Last Dance for me". The plot is very similar to PTF. Though, it's a little bit more mature and serious. Nonetheless, the love story is sweet & amazing. It even surpassed my expectation. If you like PTF, then try this series.

    Hi belamia,
No, I don't really like K-dramas but have seen some. They are ok, but I never grew to really really like any of them or become fans of the cast. I heard that Save the last dance for me is similar to Frog Prince, but is more serious.

Was there another Magician Love before this show? I found this series pretty refreshing in its plot, realistic and pretty romantic.

I need your help. I recently finished watching this series and I found out that my last 3 episodes were recoded from TV. It was so disappointing! Audio was bad and video was terrible! Anyone with a good copy of the last three episodes, is it possible to burn me a copy? Please! PM me to contact. Thanks!

How come most 江湖 (jiānghú) wanderers never worry about money? I wonder how a 大俠 (dàxiá) make a living...does meddling in people's business and righting wrongs pay well?

Have thought about bringing it back to complain but I may have to get a whole new set which means I need to watch everything all over again to see if there may be defects. Actually I don't mind watching it all over again; I just don't have the time now. The copy was okay but I'm really bothered with the last three eps being recorded from TV. Anyway, thanks for the thought of considering to help though.

I don't recommend Legend of Star Apple. I find the leading actress too young and a bit annoying. Her acting doesn't match up to Ming Dao and most of the time from the beginning, i felt Ming Dao is acting more on his own. I thought the storyline was refreshing at first, but the girl just killed it for me.

Thanks Nefertari. Has just finished watching Magicians of Love. There are a few scenes I also felt Ming Dao also acting more on his own here when he's with Xiao Bei. Pretty okay storyline. As someone said its rewatchable during rainy days. Still prefer Prince turns into Frog cos the script is way better and funny. Looking forward to the new series "Ying Ke 3+1" something like that where lead actor and actress are Ming Dao and Joe Chen. Don't know when it will be release here??? Heard good comment on the Game of Love starred by Sam Wong and Joe Chen so will begin on that first.

Viewed a few episodes of Legend of Star Apple in website. I agree with Nefertari that the Zhang Xin Yu is really incompatible with Ming Dao. Isn't entertainment shows is to see the best of the best? Though the story is good but the leads are important as well. I wonder how the producers/directors choose their leads???

Actually I prefer Ke Lan with Artz than Xiao Bei with Artz because of compatibility in Magicians of Love. They really look good together. The lead actress must be really good to be compatible with Ming Dao as he's an excellent actor, that's why I still prefer to see Ming Dao act with Joe Chen as Ming Dao's presence is unable drown Joe Chen.
