Probably when SpCnet moved the new forums over... the default was disable.

And there weren't any need for it till the last few days.

Doh I wish I can help you but I don't know much about this... maybe PM SPcnet and she can help you.

or ask luvalecsu_4evea (chrissy) she seems to be able to post her chinese text to her post... maybe she knows something.

James Ko, don't take this remark seriously but I asked SC and no one else and I also expect SC to answer the question by herself.

The "Report to a moderator" feature was never available or existed in the old forum so there is no new or old moved over business. The feature was available a week or two ago but it's recently disable and I was wondering why it is?

Yes, I was fiddling with the email functionalities on the forum. It should be back now. Though I did get rid of the subscribe to a thread/forum links since there are too many bounced back emails from bad/invalid emails.

I had a Chinese signature before and it shows up fine. But today when I want to switch to another one, the characters show up as weird codes like UB&^%H. What should I do?
Are you copying and pasting the chinese characters from elsewhere? Or using a software like NJStar?

I copied and pasted from a word document. It worked before moving to vbulletin, but now it doesn't. I saw that some new members' signatures also show weird symbols instead of Chinese.

Initially I set it to 100 posts and you'll get the Senior Member title but I decided to up it to 500 now. Here's what they're set to right now:

    Junior Member (Minimum Posts: 0)
    Member (Minimum Posts: 50)
    Senior Member (Minimum Posts: 500)

I'll add something for the 1000th, 2000th, 3000th, etc. posts; any suggestions for titles?

But whuuuuu, probabaly a good thing that spcnet didn't set any price for that too! I was ready to offer her my soul (since I don't need it much), but what if she asked for a kidney or two?!

Edit: Please ignore this post...I was going to ask SC about the problem with multiple quotes because every quote gets indented after each other...and some messages disappear off the screen...but I now realised that SC has fixed it.

Does the forum seem slow lately?

Is there a way to make it flow a bit faster than it is now?

I think it seems normal but then again, my DSL's been kind of slow lately so I can't tell if it's the forum or my connection sometimes. There's some tips out there about making the forum running a little faster and more efficient but that will require quite some time from me. Will do it once I get back on track with the pile of reviews.

Didn't you say that you will outsource for some help with the reviews? How goes the search...

I think I got 2 responses about possible interest but they didn't work out for various reasons.

Well, I'm looking at some free time..maybe I can help.

I have become quite efficient with PHP in the last two months. And if I don't know anything, there's always google. I think one of your requirement was a purist when it comes to codes. That's me. I design everything in my website from scratch.
