I only watch until episode 4 but am losing interest in the series liao. Is Steven's character going to just keep on solving problem after problem after problem? Is that all the series is about?

4 episodes already, and the storyline is just about the dad giving Steven's hard tasks to do and Wayne's character creating lots of obstacle for him.

No. The storyline will actually get better. It'll start including some "hard" escorts and obstacles during those escorts. But most of all people start fighting over who is going to inherit the family business. Just continue watching. It gets better .

I don't know if his character might be of any use. I'm up to episode 20 so far and I'm curious about his character. I don't think he'll become evil though.

Can anyone explain to me why when they are in safeguard they have to yell out "hum mmmm" is it to tell people they are safeguards?

I think it has something to do with a secret code or something? I think "Hak Mmm" belongs to a certain group (possibly only Steven's escort agency) and when the bandits hears it, they'll know who's escorting the stuff.
