i dunno with elaine she tries too hard to seem like her life is a tragedy (and it is somewhat) but its not portrayed that well.
I like this series but I find there is a lot of speeches. I do like the casting though.

Ah I can't remember where I left off with this series before I went on vacation and I won't be back till like Saturday.

But still I dislike everyone but Steven. Tell me please when does Steven get recognition for all that he does for people? Elaine is so skinny, Steven is already tall and slim, its like two chopsticks standing together with them pairing up.

Is this series worth watching? I am Steven's fan but based on the poster, there are not very many female castings here.

i finished watchin this serie like 2 days ago..i like i but there was too much talking...pplz talks A LOT in this serie...the ending was okay..but the 3rd uncle's wife died!! so sad..i liked her.

i think it is typical for TVB series to have a lot of talking. those that makes me get headache are the women arguing or critisizes each other.

I liked this series...i finished it in 2 days...and steven ma is great here...mannn...this series made me think how some peoople are too selfish (like the steven ma's godparents would make him do the dangerous things instead of their sons)...and this series rocked except when the 3rd aunt died...

OIII....i disliked so many actors and actresses in this series...like Elaine...who can't cry for beans and there's something about her face that makes me not like her...adnn her parents...i didnt like the mothers character and her acting was that good either...and then the second son's mom...she was so annoying...the first uncle was annoying too...gosh...first he was supporting his brother's the eldest son...and then the second son...

Best ancient series of '06 thus far

Steven Ma's perf. was top-notch. Plot was very original and the supporting cast was not bad also (with Elaine Yiu as the only exception).

Highly recommended
